MILLER
Betty Ruth Miller, 80, of Delphos, died at 2:58 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born September 8, 1923, in Lima, the daughter of the late John and Tula Beech. On April 7, 1952, she married Russell E. Miller, who died November 28, 1989.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and a former employee of McDonald's in Delphos. She was a member of the Lima American Legion post, Delphos Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Northwest Ohio Kidney Foundation, Delphos Senior Citizens and Trinity United Methodist Church in Delphos. She loved to fish and was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.
Survivors include two sons, Russell E. (Barb) Thompson of Lima and Carl E. Miller of Delphos; a daughter, Jennie R. Miller of Delphos; two grandsons, Garrett Thompson and Trevor Thompson, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert "Bob" Beech, and one sister, Geraldine "Jerry" Boop.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, February 6, at Harter & Son Memorial Chapel in Delphos, the Rev. David Howell and Rev. Mike Swanton officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 5, at the funeral home.

SUEVER
Rosemary E. Suever, 93, of Delphos, died at 12:33 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2004, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.
She was born February 5, 1910, in Delphos, the daughter of the late George and Margaret Anne (McRedmond) Derwort. On April 16, 1928, she married Frank "Bill" Suever, who died July 16, 1973.
Mrs. Suever was a homemaker and had worked at Scott's Grocery. she was a member of St. John the Evangelistic Catholic Church in Delphos.
Survivors include two sons, Richard M. (Ann) Suever of Atlanta, Ga., and Arthur J. (Diane) Suever of Fort Wayne, Ind., and 15 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Louise Schmitz; one brother, George R. Derwort; two sisters, Dorthy M. Good and Aileen Van Atta, and two grandsons, Robert "Robbie" Suever and Paul A. Suever.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, February 6, at St. John the Evangelistic Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Thomas Gorman officiating. Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery in Delphos.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 5, at Harter & Son Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake service will be conducted that evening.

TEMPLE
Juanita Maxine Temple, 89, of Rockford, died at 10:25 a.m. Sunday, February 8, 2004, at The Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford.
She was born August 29, 1914, in Rockford, the daughter of the late Oscar William and Ora Belle (Chrisenberry) Harruff. On January 28, 1935, she married Ivan Temple, who preceded her in death on June 16, 1992.
Mrs. Temple and her husband were owners and operators of The Home Plate Restaurant in Rockford for many years. Prior to having the restaurant, she had worked at Tu-Way Products in Rockford. Mrs. Temple had lived in Rockford all her life and was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary 1291 in Rockford and the Ladies of the Moose Lodge 0138 in Greencastle, Ind.
Survivors include two sons, Noel (Jackie) Temple of Raleigh, N.C., and Rick (Deb) Temple of Rockford; Shirley (Jim) Scarpella of Fort Myers, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Pete Harruff; two sisters, Ruth Reed Driskell and Mary Margaret Toms, and a grandchild, Jay Scarpella.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 11, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastor Mike Berne officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, and an hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home. A FOE Auxiliary 1292 ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Parkway Booster Club.

SUTTON
Edna W. Sutton, 86, of Grover Hill, died at 6:05 a.m. Sunday, February 8, 2004, at her residence.
She was born March 11, 1917, in Jackson Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of the late John H. and Celia (Agness) Blythe. On September 7, 1940, she married Ralph E. Sutton, who survives.
Mrs. Sutton was a homemaker and member of Auglaize Chapel Church of God in Oakwood. She was a 1934 graduate of Hoaglin-Jackson High School. Edna was a gardener, a former church pianist, an avid quilter and loved her family very much.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Jon Ralph (Karen) Sutton of Clyde and Brent (Carole) Sutton of Amelia Court House, Va.; a daughter, Vicki (Mikel) Brown of Grover Hill; 11 grandchildren, Jonathan, Joseph (Deann) and Kara Sutton, Scott (Laura) Wyatt, Steve (Michelle) Wyatt, Stuart (Amy) Wyatt, Wendy (Terry) Baker, Kerry (Greg) Shelton, Sarra (Nick) Hudson and Estynn and Ethynn Brown; 14 great-grandchildren, and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Verlin Blythe; a son-in-law, Bill Wyatt, Jr., and one granddaughter, Korene Wyatt.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 12, at Auglaize Chapel Church of God in Oakwood, the Rev. Raymond Matson officiating. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Thursday at the church.

GOINS
Judy E. Goins, 60, of Scott, died at 1:27 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2004, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.
She was born April 22, 1943, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Virgil L. and Ilo (Gipe) Hines. On June 11, 1961, she married Jerry D. Goins, who survives.
Mrs. Goins was a homemaker and member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Woodburn, Ind.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Jerry D. Goins Jr. of Van Wert, Jeffrey L. Goins of Wedowee, Ala., and Joseph L. (Sheila) Goins of Convoy; two brothers, Richard (Arlene) Hines of Union City and Bernard (Vivian) Hines of Elida; two sisters, Barbara (Keith) Beams of Van Wert and Nancy (Bill) Winters of New Haven, Ind., and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Shelly Renee and Julia Kay Goins, who died in infancy; two sisters, Doris Satterfield and Deboratha Ann Hines, and a grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 12, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Dave Ray officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery near Middle Point.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, at the funeral home.

KLINE
Dollie E. Kline, 67, of Van Wert, entered into rest to be with her Lord and Savior at 6:45 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2004, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.
She was born March 31, 1936, in Onslow County, N.C., the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Mary E. (Jenkins) Wilson.
Ms. Kline was a member of Pentecostal Way Church in Van Wert and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 886.
Survivors include a son, Thomas J. (Paula) Kline of Van Wert; three daughters, Shirley Jewell and Karen (Steve) Rode, both of Van Wert, and Joanne Robinson of Celina; one brother, Joseph (Linda) Wilson of Ohio City; two sisters, Minnie (Edward) Swinson of Springfield, Tenn., and Peggy (Don) Hill of League City, Texas; nine grandchildren, Bobby Fuelling of Convoy, Jeremy Otis of Dayton and Delbert (Brenda) Jewell, Samuel (Brenda) Roberts, John Wilt, Jacob Wilt, Cora Rode and Jeremy and Jody Kline, all of Van Wert, and five great-grandchildren, Steffon, Dylan, Victoria, Devon and Alisa, and three stepchildren, Sean, Seth and Shea.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sylvia Otis; one brother, Robert Wilson; a grandson, Mark Otis, and one granddaughter, Angela Jewell Saco.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 12, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Calling hours are 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, at the funeral home.

ROLSTEN
Marion "Shorty" Rolsten, 95, of 4141 Liberty Union Road, Van Wert, died at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2004, at Convoy Care Center.
He was born March 3, 1908, in Van Wert, the son of the late Frank and Cora (Wise) Rolsten. On June 3, 1930, in Union Center Evangelical Church, he married Olive D. Nachbar, who died January 20, 1998.
Mr. Rolsten worked for the Van Wert County Highway Department and also for Continental Can Company in Van Wert for 20 years as a mechanic. He was also a retired farmer. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Van Wert, taught Sunday School for 60 years and held various offices in the church. He was a former member of the Van Wert County Farm Bureau and the International Order of Odd Fellows in Convoy. He was a 1926 graduate of Union High School.
Survivors include a son, James L. (Phyllis) Rolsten of rural Convoy; one brother, Arthur Rolsten of Van Wert; four grandchildren, Brent (Melodie) Rolsten of Chillicothe, Natalie (John) Hickey of Monee, Ill., and Brian K. Rolsten and Kent L. (Julie) Rolsten, both of Van Wert, and 10 great-grandchildren, Sarah and Phillip Rolsten, Kole, Brock and Spencer Rolsten, Daniell, Ashlee and Brandon Hickey, and Emily and Everett Rolsten.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 7, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Timothy A. Burden and Pastor Brent Rolsten officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.
Calling hours are 4-8 p.m. Friday, February 6, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Trinity United Methodist Pew Bibles Fund.
