SHEEHAN
Angelina "Ann" Sheehan, 89, of 225½ N. Washington St., died at 6:05 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2004, at Van Wert County Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born August 19, 1914, in New York City, the daughter of Antonio and Francesca (Scuderi) Pafumi. On April 21, 1946, in Brooklyn, N.Y., she married George Maurice Sheehan, who died April 30, 2000.
Mrs. Sheehan was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert. She was a USO hostess during World War II and was active in the Van Wert YWCA, serving on the Ways and Means Committee for many years. She was also a former 4-H advisor.
Survivors include two daughters, Frances (Richard L.) Turnwald of Van Wert and Marie A. (Richard) Laidler of Oxford, Mich.; a son, George M. (Teresa K.) Sheehan of Lancaster; one sister, Connie Bloomquist of Sunnyvale, Calif.; five grandchildren, Richard Turnwald II, George M. Sheehan III, Christopher A. Sheehan, Joshua R. Laidler and Autumn O. Laidler, and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Nikki Sterling.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Vincent Pafumi.
A funeral mass will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 29, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert, with Father Charles Obinwa officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.
Calling hours are an hour prior to mass at the church on Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Brumback Library in Van Wert.
Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert handled the arrangements.

WANN-MILLER
Regina I. Wann-Miller, 68, of Rockford, died at 3:17 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2004, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born September 22, 1935, in Osage County, Kansas, the daughter of the late Herald and Elizabeth (Johnson) Pierce. She married Earl Miller, who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Wann-Miller was retired from Huffy Manufacturing in Celina and had been a school teacher at Fort Jennings and Spencerville school districts and had been employed at the Motor Inn for years. She was a member of Rockford United Methodist Church in Rockford, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1292 Auxiliary in Rockford and the Women of the Moose in Celina.
Survivors include two sons, Hal (Bonnie) Wann of Berne, Ind., and James E. (Mechelle) Wann of Ravenna; a daughter Rita (Dave) Putman of Rockford, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 7, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, the Rev. Mike Berne officiating. Burial will be in Scipio Cemetery in Hicksville at the convenience of the family.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 6, and an hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.

HARRINGTON
Cathryn L. Harrington, 87, of Van Wert, died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2004.
She was born May 1, 1917, in Grant's Lick, Ky., the daughter of the late William Courtney and Rena Myrtle (Poe) Lamb. On January 1, 1944, she married Robert L. Harrington, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Harrington was Van Wert County Probate and Juvenile Court judge for 27 years before retiring in the 1980s.
Survivors include two daughters, Angeline Harrington (Royce Calhoun) Williams of San Antonio, Texas, and Susan Dale (Timothy Butts) Harrington of New York, N.Y., and three grandchildren, Colin Harrington Williams, Andrew Harrington Butts and George Harrington Butts.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 5, at First Presbyterian Church in Van Wert.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of donor's choice.
Arrangements were handled by Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert.

GREEN
Mary Elizabeth Green, 87, of Fort Wayne, Ind., died at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2004, at Golden Years Homestead in Fort Wayne.
She was born September 14, 1916, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Perry William and Sarah Cecilia (Best) Robinson. On May 8, 1937, she married George Harley Green, who died February 10, 1983.
Mrs. Green retired after 42 years of service with the former Continental Can Company in Van Wert. She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert.
Survivors include a son, George Harley (Lillian) Green Jr. of East Point, Mich.; two daughters, Sara Jane Martz of Fort Wayne and Mary Jo Baer of Sarasota, Fla.; six grandchildren, Michelle (Bliss) Ries, Shawn (David) Heimann, Amy Elizabeth Reyna, Jeremy Clayton Green, Isaac William Geels and George Anthony Baer, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, William Perry Robinson and John Peter Robinson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 11, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert, with Father Charles Obinwa officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Calling hours are 6-8 p.m. Sunday, May 9, and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 10, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, where a parish wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 1315 Director's Row, Suite 210, Fort Wayne, IN 46808.

LEININGER
Betty J. Leininger, 82, of Delphos, died Sunday, May 2, 2004, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.
She was born December 6, 1921, in Galion, the daughter of the late William and Edith (Kodger) Rinehart. She married Neil Leininger, who died in December 1990.
Mrs. Leininger was a bank teller at People's National Bank in Delphos. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Delphos and the United Methodist Women and Rebecca Circle of the church. She also belonged to the Delphos chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff Leininger of Piqua and Jack (Jane) Leininger of Delphos; a daughter, Jill Leininger of Patchogue, N.Y.; one brother, Richard Rinehart of Delphos, and six grandchildren, Adam, Andy, Jenni, Jodi, Jay and Jordan Leininger.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Rolland and Don Rinehart.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, at Harter & Son Memorial Chapel in Delphos, the Rev. David Howell officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church in Delphos.

McKINLEY
Mildred McKinley, 87, of Elida, died at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, May 2, 2004, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.
She was born May 2, 1917, in Continental, the daughter of the late Albert and Bertie (Fought) Harpster.
Ms. McKinley was a press operator at Van Dyne Crotty. She was a member of the Delphos Eagles and St. Paul United Methodist Church in Delphos. She enjoyed crocheting and fishing.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald (Sharon) Williamson of Elida and Robert (Sandy) Williamson of Delphos; two sisters, Edna (Paul) Botkins of Florida and Goldie Louth of Delphos; a brother, Harold (Lucille) Harpster of Delphos, and two grandchildren, Angela Wallace of California and James Williamson of Delphos.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mandy Williamson.
No funeral services are planned.
There will be on visitation.
Arrangements were handled by Harter & Son Funeral Home in Delphos.

NEIFORD
Olive L. Neiford, 86, of Van Wert, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 9:50 a.m. Friday, May 28, 2004, at Van Wert Manor nursing home in Van Wert.
She was born December 1, 1917, in Jackson Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Clint and Thresia (Boberg) Dunlap. On May 4, 1937, she married John H. Neiford, who died June 12, 1983.
Mrs. Neiford worked 30 years at Van Wert Manufacturing, retiring in 1980. She attended Trinity Friends Church in Van Wert, and was a member of the Seniors Singles Club of Van Wert.
Survivors include a son, Richard (Darla) Neiford of Van Wert; two daughters, Patricia (Robert) Mohr and Judith (Carl) Parsons, both of Van Wert; one brother, Robert (Marcia Lou) Dunlap of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho; three sisters, Della Ross and Marjorie (Vondale) Taylor, both of Van Wert, and Loma (Burton) Hoy of Grover Hill; six grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death a brother, Norbert Dunlap; two sisters, Selma Adams and Freda Adams, and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert, the Rev. Neil Hammons officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Van Wert County.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 31, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Friends Church Building Fund.
