SUTTON
Jeannette Sutton, 62, of Dayton, died at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2005, at Dayton Hospice.
She was born November 25, 1942, in Liberty Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of Claybern Z. and Lois L. (Ickes) Sutton. She never married.
Miss Sutton was a Registered Nurse for 36 years at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton and a private scrub nurse for six years. She was a 1960 graduate of Ohio City-Liberty High School and a graduate of Miami Valley School of Nursing.
In addition to her parents, she was survived by two brothers, Paul (Amy) Sutton of Columbus and Larry (Bonita) Sutton of Van Wert, and two sisters, Barbara (Dan) Moffitt of Weaverville, N.C., and Cindy (Chris) Skinner of rural Van Wert.
Private services will be held for the family on Friday and Saturday, February 11 and 12, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert.
There will be private calling hours for the family at the funeral home.

BELL
Helen Louise Bell, 82, of Van Wert, died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2005, at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born February 4, 1923, in Allen County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Melvin F. and Hannah (Zimmerman) Metzger. On January 19, 1947, she married Robert O. Bell, who survives in Van Wert.
Mrs. Bell was a former co-owner of Bell's Triangle Super Valu supermarket in Van Wert. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Van Wert.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Kenneth W. (Janet) Bell and Donley J. (Nancy) Bell, both of Van Wert; a brother, Burdette (Dorothy) Metzger; one sister, Anita (Clair) Weeder of Van Wert; four grandchildren, Stuart (Amanda) Bell, Matthew Bell, Rebecca (Aaron) White and Kristina Bell, and a grandson, Ethan White.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Dwight Alan Bell, and four brothers, Clifford, Richard, Herbert and Theodore Metzger.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 12, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. James Howell officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 11, at the funeral home.

MILLER
Cathy Miller, 45, of Kalida, died at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born February 13, 1959, in Dayton, the daughter of Paul Lumpkins and the late Ruby Jewel Lumpkins. She married Ronald Miller on November 28, 1986, and he survives in Kalida.
Mrs. Miller worked at Eaton Corporation in Van Wert. She enjoyed family time and being with her friends and also liked to camp, fish and bowl.
In addition to her father and husband, she is survived by three sons, Kevin (MaryAnn) Gibson of Kalida, Donald (Miranda) Miller of Findlay and Doug Miller of Lima; two daughters, Olivia "Libby" Gibson and Danielle (Tim) Thompson, both of Lima; three sisters, Pauline (Rocky) Shaffer of Delphos, Linda (Charles) Gunnels of Kentucky and Donna Marie Lumpkins; two brothers, Harold (Rhonda) Lumpkins of Lima and Joe Lumpkins of Delphos, and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Glen Lumpkins, Danny Lumpkins and David Lumpkins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 13, at Harter & Schier Memorial Chapel in Delphos, with the Rev. Derick Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos.
Calling hours are 5-8 p.m. Friday, February 11; 2-8 p.m. Saturday, February 12, and from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, February 13, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.

MYERS
Joseph J. Myers, 84, of Van Wert, died at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, February 5, 2005, at his residence.
He was born November 25, 1920, in Ohio City, the son of the late Fred and Camille (Smalley) Myers. On January 30, 1945, he married Valrea M. Myers, who survives in Van Wert.
Mr. Myers retired from Sonoco (Continental Can Company) on March 1, 1986, after 40 years of employment there. He was also a member of the Sonoco Retirement Club and was a 1938 graduate of Van Wert High School. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in U.S. Marine Corps from 1942-1946. He was a deacon and co-founding member of Faith Baptist Church in Van Wert and was a member of First Baptist Church in Van Wert.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, James A. (Jeanne) Myers of Fairborn; four daughters, Carolyn S. Baker, Rita D. Myers and Ruth Ann Myers, all of Van Wert, and Mary Lou (Rudy) Oakley of Grover Hill; one brother, John (Connie) Myers of Silver Lake, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, with three more expected, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Myers; two sisters, Deloris Taylor and Ida Mae Mosier, and a son-in-law, James R. Baker.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 8, at First Baptist Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Steve Robinson. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, with military graveside rites performed by the combined honors units of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803 and American Legion Post 178, both in Van Wert.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Monday, February 7, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, and from noon-1 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church in Van Wert.

MILLER
Ronald L. Miller, 70, of Grover Hill, died at 8:09 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2005, at Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus.
He was born November 23, 1934, in Van Wert, the son of the late Gaylord Miller and the late Audrey (Crone) Hammond. On August 18, 1951, he married Carlotta C. Eaken, who died in 2000.
Mr. Miller retired from B.F. Goodrich Company in Woodburn, Ind., after 30 years of service. He was a former member of the Grover Hill School Board, was a member of Grover Hill Zion United Methodist Church and coached Little League in Grover Hill for many years.
Survivors include five sons, Gregory (Sandra) Miller of Elida, Steve (Janet) Miller of Van Wert, Jeffrey (Lori) Miller of Haviland, Kevin (Carla) Miller and Richard (Patricia) Miller, both of Payne; a brother, James O. (Sue) Miller of Grover Hill; one half-brother, Jack Miller of Scottsdale, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a stepfather, Oliver Hammond, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 11, at Grover Hill Zion United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Kevin Patton officiating. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill.
Calling hours are 2-8 p.m. Thursday, February 10, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Friday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church.

HUMPHREYS
Mary Ellen Humphreys, 83, of Gomer, died at 9:50 a.m. Saturday, January 1, 2005, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.
She was born July 8, 1921, in Gomer, the daughter of the late Oscar and Jessie (Caskey) Renner. On July 11, 1942, she married David W. Humphreys, who survives in Gomer.
Mrs. Humphreys was a homemaker and partner in farming with her husband. She was a graduate of Gomer High School and was an active member of the PTA and participated in other school-related activities. She was a member of Gomer United Church of Christ, Order of Eastern Star, The Welsh Society of Northwest Ohio, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 471 and the Gomer Alumni Association. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and she enjoyed quilting and gardening.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, John Humphreys of Gomer; one daughter, Nancy (Tom) Sakemiller of Delphos; a brother, John (Deloris) Renner of Gomer; three sisters, Methel Benroth of Bluffton, Majorie (Thomas) Bourne of Arizona and Norma (Lewis) Martz of Cairo; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Orman Renner and Dale Renner, and a sister, Helen Lewis.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with the Rev. Brian Knoderer officiating. Burial will be in Carmen Cemetery in Gomer.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 3, and an hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home, where an Eastern Star service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita's Hopsice or The Welshe Society of Northwest Ohio.

FOUST
Virginia M. Foust, 80, of Delphos, died at 7:15 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2005, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.
She was born November 20, 1924, in Continental, the daughter of the late Edward and Nina (Elliot) Morris. On August 21, 1944, she married Robert Foust, who survives.
Mrs. Foust was a homemaker and was a very active member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Delphos. She was a past member of past president of the Ohio Child Conservation League and enjoyed gardening, sewing and photography and was active with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Robert (Barbara) Foust Jr. of Findlay; one daughter, Maxine (Greg) Brooks of Spencerville; two sisters, Ruth Kaskel and Nancy (Skip) Will, both of Delphos; eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Vasquez.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 13, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with the Rev. David Howell officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and an hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church in Delphos.
