CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Linda M. Frecka, 60, died unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 6, 2000, in Florida.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at noon at The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, with Pastor Robert E. Linsz officiating. Burial will be at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park in Cuyahoga Falls.
Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice, 3340 Ridgewood Road, Akron 44333 or the Humane Society, 4904 Quick Road, Peninsula 44264 in her memory.
She was born in Akron.
Surviving are her nieces, Marcia Maness of Chesterland and Kris McFee of Concord Township, and her dogs, Leonard Ann, Lily, Frankie and Johnny.

Anna Perdue
DUNDEE -- Anna A. Perdue, 75, formerly of State Route 93, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, at Chattanooga, Tenn.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Butler-Varns Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kenard Parrott officiating. Burial will be at Dundee Cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
She was born Aug. 19, 1924 in Tuscarawas to William P. and Margaret E. (Huebner) Beckley and married Clarence E. Perdue on Nov. 19, 1942. He died on July 5, 1989.
Surviving are a daughter Nancy Louise (Gene) Fish of Chattanooga, Tenn.; three grandchildren; a brother, the Rev. James P. Beckley of New Richmond and a sister, Sarah (Jack) Sawler of Stonewall, Okla.

Benjamin Baum
ASHLAND -- Benjamin B. Baum, 79, of 1471 Troy Road, died Friday evening at his residence.
Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Van Hove Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ron Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Ashland County Memorial Park.
Friends may call Monday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ashland Baptist Chapel, 735 E. Eighth Street, Ashland 44805.
He was born Feb. 22, 1920 in Ashland to Charles G. and Verna I. (Geib) Baum and married Malinda M. Hostetler on Aug. 26, 1978. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Ron Satterfield of Ashtabula and a son, Dennis M. Baum of Mansfield and four stepdaughters and their husbands, Josephine and Brent Gress of Wooster, Paula and George Ross of Galion, Linda Glow of Ashland and Sally Ann Cole of Mansfield; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

Rita McCartney
DOYLESTOWN -- Rita G. McCartney, 80, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, at Doylestown Health Care Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, with Father David McCarthy as celebrant. Burial will be at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Doylestown, with the rosary to be held at 7 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Doylestown Lioness Club.
She was born Aug. 12, 1919, in Massillon to John and Gertrude (Ertle) Meininger and married Harry McCartney. He died previously.
Surviving are a son, Terry McCartney and his wife, Marilyn, of Twinsburg; grandchildren, Laura McCartney of Atlanta, Ga., and Jeffrey McCartney of Seattle, Wash.; a sister, Virginia Bonk of Massillon; sisters-in-law, Grace Ertle of Massillon and Connie McCartney of Doylestown; and brothers-in-law, Robert McCartney and his wife, Martine, of Shreve and Arnold Fielder of Doylestown.

Pauline O'Brien
DOYLESTOWN -- Pauline M. O'Brien, 95, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, at Doylestown Health Care Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, with Father David McCarthy as celebrant. Burial will be at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Doylestown, is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 29, 1904, in Doylestown to Charles and Zula (Budd) Weinsheimer and married Clarence F. O'Brien. He died previously.
Surviving are a daughter, Marion Shaw and her husband, Raymond, of Norton; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sisters, Helen Frederick of Doylestown and Mary Szittai of Stow.

Eleanor Forshee
NORTON -- Eleanor E. Forshee, 85, of Norton, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, at Pleasant View Health Care Center in Barberton, after a long illness.
She is survived by relatives in the Doylestown area.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Doylestown, with the Rev. Brian Cowan officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
She was born in Clifton, W.Va.
Surviving are children and their spouses, Jimmy and Eileen Forshee and Allen and Shirley Forshee, all of Florida, David "Mike" and Denise Forshee of Barberton and Dottie and John Nitz of Canal Fulton; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Sandy Hughes of Florida.
Her husband, John L. Forshee, died previously.

Myron Woodward
LODI -- Myron R. Woodward, 87, of Lodi, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, at West View Manor in Wooster.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Parker & Son Funeral Home in Lodi, with the Rev. Stephen McLaughlin officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Lodi.
Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Congregational Church of Lodi, 114 Church St., Lodi 44254; or to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
He was born July 13, 1912, in Chatham to Frank and Mary (Eaken) Woodward.
Surviving are daughters and their husbands, Pat and Sonny Tufts of Columbus, Phyllis and Fran Menssen and JoAnn Brooks, all of Lodi and a son, Derrell Woodward of Seville; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Leva Frederick and her husband, Bill, of Florida.

Golden Lloyd
CRESTON -- Golden Lloyd, 87, formerly of South Main Street, died Sunday morning, Feb. 13, 2000, at Glendora Health Care Center in Wooster, after a period of declining health.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston, with the Rev. Paul Jarrell officiating. Burial will be at Wakeman Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
He was born Sept. 5, 1912, in Wayne County, W.Va., to Booker and Bertha (Crabtree) Lloyd and married Lorita Boyes. She died March 22, 1957.
Surviving are children and their spouses, Larry and Carol Lloyd of Wooster, Ron and Sally Lloyd of Palm Bay, Fla., Dan and Kris Lloyd of Columbus, N.C., Janet and Burgess Holt of Medina and Wanda and John Matteson of Friendswood, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean.

Katheryn Ling
MILLERSBURG -- Katheryn E. Ling, 79, of Millersburg, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, after an extended illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Alexander Funeral home, Millersburg, with Father Ronald Aubry officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Millersburg.
Friends may call Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was born Aug. 7, 1920, in Cordova, Alaska, to Charles P. and Minnie (Tindall) Gilliland and married Carl M. Ling. He died March 20, 1970.
Surviving are children, Kay Hoxworth and Robert Ling, both of Millersburg; grandchildren, Vincent Fry, Scott Fry, Bruce Uhl, Joy Uhl, Marty Ling and Rodney Ling; a brother, Robert Gilliland of Bellingham, Wash.; and sisters, Margaret Douglas of Seaside, Ore., and Pauline Fleeck of Seattle, Wash.

Andrew Miller
MILLERSBURG -- Andrew E. Miller, 88, 6846 County Road 77, died this morning, Feb. 14, 2000, at his home after an extended illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the residence, with Bishop Aden J. Miller officiating. Burial will be at the Hershberger Cemetery, Salt Creek Township, Holmes County.
Friends may call anytime at the residence. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling arrangements.
He was born Sept. 3, 1911, in Glendive, Mont., to Enos D. and Sarah (Yoder) Yoder and married Susie Miller on March 31, 1938. She survives.
Other survivors include children and their spouses, Aden and Edna Yoder of Millersburg, David and Anna Yoder and Sarah Yoder, all of the home and Lydian and Emanuel Raber of Fredericksburg; 27 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Abigail Weaver of Pinecraft, Fla.

Edith Buzzard
ASHLAND -- Edith L. (Ward) Buzzard, 90, formerly of Center Street, died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Ashland, after a short illness.
Memorial services will be Saturday, March 4, at 10:30 a.m. at First Christian Church in Ashland, with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Gibson officiating. Burial will be at Ashland Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. Heyl Funeral Home in Ashland, is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church; C.W.F. Shoe Fund at the church; or Hospice of North Central Ohio.
She was born June 30, 1909, in Ashland County to Sam and Bessie Mae (Evert) Norris and married William R. Buzzard on Nov. 23, 1974. He died Dec. 13, 1994.
Surviving are stepchildren, Margaret Ward of Ashland, Bonnie Smith of Canton, Kary Buzzard of Arizona, and Barry Buzzard of North Carolina; seven step-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Norris, a sister, Cleo Hazlett and a sister-in-law, Alice Norris, all of Ashland; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Ellis Klingelsmith
NAVARRE -- Ellis D. Klingelsmith, 81, of Navarre, died Sunday morning, Feb. 12, 2000, at Massillon Community Hospital in Massillon.
Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Atkinson-Feucht-Shaidnagle in Navarre, with the Rev. Brad Jagger officiating. Burial will be at Stump Cemetery in Bethlehem Township.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was born May 14, 1918, in Bloomville to Ray D. and Edna M. (Blinn) Klingelsmith.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth A. (Sprankle) Klingelsmith; children, Sharon Mihaltian of Little Rock, Ark., Debi Roe of Salesville, Brenda Klingelsmith and Lisa Garlando, both of Canton, David Klingelsmith of Stuart, Fla., and Bruce Klingelsmith of Navarre; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Louise Blankenship
OCALA, Fla. -- Louise Blankenship, 77, of Ocala, Fla., died Friday, Feb. 11, 2000, at Surry Nursing Home in Ocala.
Burial services were held Sunday, Feb. 13, at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 9, 1921, in Tennessee.
Other survivors include nieces and nephews and great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Daris Carr
CLAY, W.Va. -- Daris Lee Carr, 61, of Clay, W.Va., formerly of Orrville, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, at his home.
Surviving are a daughter, Rhonda Yocheim and her husband, Jeff, of Marshallville; a granddaughter; sisters, Peggy Murphy of Ripley, W.Va., Sue Stuckey of Orrville, Helen Walker of Charleston, W.Va., Brenda Gilbert of Maysel, W.Va., and Patricia Paxton of Valley Fork, W.Va.; brothers, Ray Carr of Akron, Donnie Carr of Clay, W.Va., and Richard Carr of Charleston, W.Va.; and his former wife, Shirley Carr of Orrville.

Wayne Beery
APPLE CREEK -- Wayne R. Beery, 45, of Apple Creek, formerly of Sterling, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Rittman Apostolic Christian Church, with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be at the Apostolic Church Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman, or one hour prior to the services at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Nick Amster Workshop, 266 Oldman Road, Wooster 44691.
He was born March 25, 1954, in Wooster to Robert and Martha (Imhoff) Beery.
Surviving are his mother of Rittman; a brother, Gaylord Beery and his wife, Cheryl, of Sterling; and sisters, Elverna Zollinger and Mrs. Michael (Norene) Miller, both of Rittman, Mrs. David (Carole) Steiner of Seville, and Mrs. Andrew (Roberta) Stoller of Orrville.

Robert Pater
CASPER, Wyo. -- Robert Pater, 38, of Casper, Wyo., formerly of Shreve, died in January 2000, from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Services and burial were held in Casper, Wyo.
Surviving are two children, his mother of Casper, Wyo., a sister, Cindy Wallace of Shreve, brothers, Chuck and Terry Pater, both of Casper, Wyo., and several nieces and nephews.

Junior Snyder
WEST SALEM -- Junior C. Snyder, 75, of West Salem, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, at Lodi Community Hospital.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at West Salem Cemetery, with Pastor Robert Holmes officiating.
There will be no calling hours. Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem, is handling arrangements.
He was born March 23, 1924, in Medina County to Allison and Sara (Esshlman) Snyder.
Surviving are a son, Robert Snyder and his wife, Eva, of Texas; two grandchildren; and sisters, Jean Trapp of Burbank and Nellie Blasklee of Canton.

Victor Hill
KILLBUCK -- Victor C-J "Tito" Hill, 32, of Killbuck, died Sunday morning, Feb. 13, 2000, at his home.
Services and burial will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Wade Chapel at Lakeview Cemetery, 12316 Euclid Ave., Cleveland (Euclid Avenue entrance). Friends may call two hours prior to the services.
Local services will be Wednesday at 9 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, where friends may call Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. The Rev. Dan Kirtlan will officiate.
He was born June 20, 1967, in Cleveland.
Surviving are a son, Alexander Hill of Killbuck; his mother, Dorothy Hill of Killbuck; and a sister, Susan Hill of Beaumont, Texas.
