CONYERS, Ga -- Charles A. Biben, 58, of Conyers, Ga., died Saturday, March 18, 2000, at Rockdale Hospital.
He was born April 5, 1941 in Cuyahoga County.
Services will be today (Monday) at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Harry L. White Funeral Home in Conyers, Ga. with the Rev. Doug King officiating. Burial will be at Hillandale Memorial Gardens in Lithonia, Ga.
Surviving are his wife, Linda L. Biben of Conyers, Ga.; daughters, Angela (Biben) Arnold and Sherri Biben, both of Wooster; two grandchildren; his father, Charles W. Biben of Decatur, Ga.; uncles; aunts; a niece and a nephew.

Norman Wood
WOOSTER -- Norman T. Wood, 77, 3080 Shreve Road, passed into the loving arms of the Lord, Sunday, March 19, 2000, at Akron General Medical Center.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Plain Lutheran Church with Pastor Edward Balint officiating. Burial will be at Plain Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home.
Those who wish may make a memorial contribution in care of the Treasurer, Plain Lutheran Church, 5415 Heyl Road, Wooster 44691.
He was born Feb. 11, 1923 in Seneca County to George B. and Viola (Reed) Wood.
He is survived by his devoted wife, W. Jane (Hummel) Wood, whom he married Dec. 22, 1941; his children and their spouses, Karol and Neal Mairs of Wooster, Norma Hoffa of Wooster, Charles and Jean Wood of Shreve and Judith and Jim Cobb of Denver, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and two brothers, Donald of Walhonding and Kenneth of Bellevue.

Howard Finzer
SUGARCREEK -- Howard W. Finzer, 80, of Sugarcreek, died Friday, March 10, 2000, at his residence, after a long illness.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the First United Church of Christ in Sugarcreek, with the Rev. Carlan Helgeson officiating. Burial will be at East Lawn Cemetery in Sugarcreek.
Friends may call Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Sugarcreek and one hour prior to services at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Church of Christ in Sugarcreek.
He was born Jan. 22, 1920 in Sugarcreek to Edward G. and Edith (Menges) Finzer and married Murna Penrod on Feb. 11, 1945. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Jane Finzer of Fort Myers, Fla. and Francine and David Gomberg of Cape Coral, Fla.; two grandchildren and two sisters, Gladys (Bill) Myers of Haines City, Fla. and Thelma (Don) Huff of Dover.

Marion Young
LOUDONVILLE -- Marion E. Young, 78, of 436 N. Jefferson St., died early Friday morning, March 10, 2000, in Colonial Manor Health Care, Loudonville, after a three month illness.
Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Baynes officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Perrysville with military honors conducted by American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Friends may call Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was born April 15, 1921 in Loudonville to Edward J. and Myrtle (Kinney) Young and married Margaret "Peg" Myers on April 6, 1947. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are sons and a daughter-in-law, Steven (Mary Beth) Young, DVM of Cranston , R.I. and David Young of Loudonville; four grandchildren; brothers, Reno Young, Milton Young, Melvin Young and Delmar Young, all of Loudonville, and a sister, Mildred Johnson of Loudonville.

Mildred Nickles
MASSILLON -- Mildred L. Nickles, 74, of Massillon, died Thursday, March 9, 2000, at Massillon Community Hospital, after a brief illness.
Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Heitger Funeral Service Massillon Chapel, 639 First St. N.E., with the Rev. Rusty Cowden officiating. Burial will be in Dalton Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was born March 6, 1926 in Massillon to John and Ethel (Bailey) Henry.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, John, a daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Larry Curie of Orrville and a son and daughter-in-law, Earl and Sue Nickles of Marshallville; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; brothers, Robert and Donald Henry, both of Massillon and sisters, Virginia Morgan, Lavonne Robinson and Marion Balis, all of Massillon.

Joshua Alexander
WOOSTER -- Joshua Alexander Wilson, 5 month old son of Kelli Wilson and Stuart Barnes, of 1936 Highland Park, died Thursday, March 9, 2000, at Wooster Community Hospital, following a sudden illness.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home, Creston, with the Rev. Dr. Alan E. Nathan officiating. Burial will be at Canaan Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was born Oct. 3, 1999 in Orrville.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Christopher of the home; grandparents, Michael and Vikki Wilson of Creston and Stuart and Sue Barnes of Ashland and great-grandparents, Raymond and Janet Daugherty of Wooster.

Elvin Horst
ORRVILLE -- Elvin K. Horst, 90, formerly of Orrville, died Friday morning, March 10, 2000, at the Apostolic Christian Home in Rittman, after a brief illness.
Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Smithville Mennonite Church, with the Revs. Burt Parks, Richard Ross and Glenn Steiner officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Hill Mennonite Church Cemetery near Wadsworth.
Friends may call today (Sunday) from 3-7 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home or one hour prior to services at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mennonite board of Missions, 500 S. Main St., Elkhart, Ind. 46515 or the mission agency of one's choice.
He was born Dec. 21, 1909 in Medina County to Bishop Moses and Elizabeth (Kreider) Horst and married Melissa Kilmer on March 27, 1932. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are two sons and their wives, Vernon and Mabel Horst of Orrville and Elvin Jr. and Brenda Horst of Archbold and six daughters and their husbands, Ramona and Daniel Hartzler and Virginia and Nelson Burkholder, all of Canton, Erma And Donald Taylor of Elyria, Lois and Robert Steiner and Rhonda and Dean Mease, all of Orrville and Maxine Horst of Mason, Mich.; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and a brother and sister-in-law, Benjamin K. and Edith Horst of Orrville.

Edson Bechtel
HOLMESVILLE -- Edson H. Bechtel, 81, of 301 Millersburg Road, died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at Aultman Hospital in Canton.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville, with Pastor John R. Long officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Orrville.
Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was born Dec. 15, 1918 in Orrville to Jacob Elmer and Florence (Hoffman) Bechtel and married A. Jane South. She died previously.
Surviving are sons and daughter-in-laws, Ron and Jane Bechtel of Akron and Lowell and Nancy Bechtel of Wooster and a daughter and son-in-law, Joanna and Therman Briggs of Sheridan, Wyo.; grandchildren, Vickie and Therman Darlington of Las Vegas, Nev., Misty Briggs of Sheridan, Wyo., Chris and Chip Bechtel of Akron and Bethany and Cory Bechtel of Wooster; one great-grandchild, Jessica Jonna Darlington of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, Donald Bechtel of Beach City; a sister, Marjorie Everhardt of Massillon and a special friend, Gladys Selan of Massillon.

Theodore Capuano
MONESSEN, Pa. -- Theodore A. "Ted" Capuano, 92, of Monessen, Pa., died Saturday, March 18, 2000, at Uniontown Hospital.
He was the father and father-in-law of Lynette and Edward Kouche II of Wooster.
Services were held this morning (Tuesday) at Epiphany of Our Lord R.C. Church in Monessen, Pa. Burial was at Belle Vernon Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home, Inc., Monessen, Pa.
He was born Dec. 23, 1907 in Monessen, Pa. to Salvatore and Mary Grace (Vito) Capuano.
Surviving in addition to his daughter and son-in-law are his wife, Marie (Arrigo) Capuano, with whom he celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on Feb. 9, 2000; two other daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Domineck Sabatini of Brownsville and Cynthia and Kevin Conner of Pittsburgh; a son and daughter-in-law, Theodore and Donna Capuano Jr. of Fort Myers, Fla.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a brother, Antonio Capuano of Italy.

Rev. Daniel Keister
WOOSTER -- Rev. Daniel L. Keister, 67, 1508 Hawthorne Drive, died Sunday, March 19, 2000, at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Wooster with the Rev. Dr. Alan E. Nathan and Rev. Ned McMillen officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery in Salem at 2:30 p.m.
Friends may call Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at the McIntire, Davis and Greene Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Zion Lutheran Church, 301 N. Market St., Wooster 44691 or to the Holy Trinity English Lutheran Church, 1089 E. State St., Salem 44460.
He was born May 22, 1932 in Salem to Rev. George DeHoff and Ruth Elizabeth (Becker) Keister.
Surviving are his wife, Janet A. (Williams) Keister, whom he married Aug. 18, 1956; children and their spouses, Mark and Marie Keister of Dublin and Linda and Jonathan Bischoff of West Palm Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Tyler Daniel and Jackson Thomas Keister and George Curtis and Melanie Irene Bischoff and a sister, Rachel Riley of North Canton.

Miles Jackson Jr.
RITTMAN -- Miles Jackson Jr., 73, 142 Medina St., died Tuesday, March 21, 2000, at his residence.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman, with the Rev. Darwin J. Smith officiating. Burial will be at Rittman Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was born Dec. 5, 1926, in Sidney, W.Va., to Miles and Tammy (Bryant) Jackson Sr. and married Edith Eveland on March 21, 1948. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Naomi Jackson and Danny Jackson and his wife, Judy, all of Rittman, and Miles Jackson III and his wife, Donna, of Seville; seven grandchildren,; six great-grandchildren; and a half-sister, Anetta Jackson of West Virginia.

William Troxell
CRESTON -- William C. "Bill" Troxell, 67, 160 Myers Road, entered into rest Monday, March 20, 2000, at Akron General Medical Center, after a short illness.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Church of the Nazarene in Wooster, with Pastor Nathan Ward officiating. Burial will be at Smithville Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at Custer Funeral Home, Wooster.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Church of the Nazarene Building Fund, 1741 Oak Hill Road, Wooster 44691.
He was born June 19, 1932 in Rittman to Jake and Esther (Oxenrider) Troxell and married Shirley J. Yates on May 14, 1955 in Smithville. She survives.
Other survivors include children and their spouses, Donnie and Teresa Troxell of Sterling, Mike and Crystal Troxell and Diane and Mark Clark, all of Wooster; grandchildren, Justin and Nicole Clark, Logan, Riley and Dustin Troxell; his mother of Creston; and a sister, Mrs. Charles (Donna) Herman of Wooster.

Edith Renner
APPLE CREEK -- Edith G. Renner, 86, of Apple Creek, formerly of Zanesville, died Monday evening, March 20, 2000, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the William Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 5765 Gladstone Drive, White Cottage, with the Rev. Tom England officiating. Burial will be at Zanesville Memorial Park.
Friends may call today (Wednesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Rolling Plains United Methodist Church; or to the Muskingum County Senior Center.
She was born Feb. 28, 1914, in West Lafayette to Russell and Hattie (Elliott) Marquand and was married to Clarence E. Renner for 53 years. He died previously.
Surviving are daughters and their spouses, Dorothy and Richard Morrison of Zanesville and Janet and Bob McFarland of Apple Creek; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Olive Frederick
KANE, Pa. -- Olive M. Frederick, 88, 22 Tionesta Ave., died Sunday morning, March 19, 2000, at Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va.
She was the mother and mother-in-law of A. Elaine and Ted Hess of Wooster.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Kane, Pa., with the Rev. Rodney Smith officiating. A committal service will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. at Roundtop Cemetery in Trade City, Pa., with the Rev. Calvin Johnson officiating.
Friends may call Friday from 7-9 p.m. at Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home, 103 S. Fraley St., Kane, Pa.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church.
She was born Dec. 24, 1911, in Plumville, Pa., to Robert L. and Minnie E. (Kroh) VanHorn and married Laurence Frederick on May 25, 1932 in Dayton, Pa. He died Feb. 14, 1999.
Other survivors include children and their spouses, Nancy Lee and William Barr of Kane, Pa., and S. Laurence and Vonnie Frederick of Portsmouth, Va.; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; brothers, William VanHorn of Silver Springs, Fla., Donald VanHorn of North Tonawanda, N.Y., and George VanHorn of Plumville, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.

Marlene Lally
DOYLESTOWN -- Marlene A. Lally, 58, of Doylestown, died Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at her home.
A Memorial Mass will be held this morning (Thursday) at 11 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, with Father David McCarthy as celebrant.
Other survivors include children and their spouses, William and Tammy Lally of Wooster, Michael Lally of West Salem, Renee and Brian Krzynowek of Doylestown and Michelle and Sam Bowman of Rittman; grandchildren, Kristi, Kelli, Kayla, Tyler and Kayci Krzynowek, all of Doylestown, Sean and Ryan Lally, both of Wooster and Ian and Connor Bowman, both of Rittman; a brother, Eugene Benko of Buena Park, Calf.; and a sister, Geraldine Ziegler of Doylestown.

Ralph Beck Sr.
WOOSTER -- Ralph E. Beck Sr., 99, died Tuesday, March 21, 2000, at Smithville-Western Care Center, Wooster, after a short illness.
Private family memorial services will be held. The body has been cremated.
There will be no calling hours. Auble Funeral Home in Orrville, is handling arrangements.
Those who wish may make contributions to Orrville Railroad Heritage Association, in care of Bill Engel, P.O. Box 11, Orrville 44667.
He was born June 29, 1900 in Galion to Ora and Pearl M. (Plants) Beck.
Surviving are children and their spouses, Ralph E. "Dooney" and Mary A. Beck Jr. of Clyde, Mark A. and Annette Beck of Reno, Nev., Esther J. and Lloyd Mohr of Canton and Donna M. and Wilford Badertscher of Orrville; a stepdaughter, Norma J. Boss of Wooster; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; and 13 step-great-grandchildren.
His first wife, Esther C. (Rauschenbach) Beck, died in 1989. They were married Dec. 25, 1921. His second wife, Grace I. Gift Beck, died in 1985. They were married in 1950.

Lloyd West
ORRVILLE -- Lloyd J. West, 89, 127 N. Crown Hill Road, died Tuesday, March 21, 2000, at his home.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville, with the Rev. Dennis Rhinehart officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
Friends may call tonight (Thursday) from 7-9 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church Memorial Fund; or to the Alzheimer's Association, 100 30th St., NW, Suite 100, Canton 44709.
He was born Jan. 9, 1911, in Orrville to Clyde and Mattie (Stocksdale) West and married Florence Byall on Oct. 10, 1930. She survives.
Other survivors include sons and their wives, James Richard and Carol West of La Grange and Walter L. and Pat West; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Lucille Howerter of Orrville.

Christopher Gerard
DURHAM, N.C -- Christopher J. Gerard, 16, of Durham, N.C., formerly of Wooster, died Monday, March 20, 2000, at his home.
Memorial services will be held today (Thursday) at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Durham, N.C., and Saturday at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Menomonee Falls, Wis.
Surviving are his mother, Leanne Heilman of Durham, N.C., and his father, Ricky Gerard of Milwaukee, Wis.; and his stepfather, David Heilman of Wooster.
