Edward Rindfleisch
WOOSTER -- Edward A. Rindfleisch, 85, 5542 Cleveland Road, died Saturday, April 8, 2000, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel with the Rev. Dale Sanford officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
He was born July 18, 1914 in Cleveland to Edwin S. and Irene (Rice) Rindfleisch and married Harriet V. Woodworth on Oct. 26, 1935. She died in 1994.
Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Edward C. and Lucille Rindfleisch of Wooster, George A. and Kathy Rindfleisch of Jeromesville; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Goldie Shonk
MILLERSBURG -- Goldie L. Shonk, died peacefully in her sleep, Saturday, April 8, 2000, at Walnut Hills Retirement Home.
Visiting hour will be from 10-11 a.m., Monday, April 10 at Alexander Funeral Home, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. John Long officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Millersburg. The women of Faith Lutheran Church will provide refreshments at the church after graveside services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Faith Lutheran Church, 187 S. Clay St., Millersburg 44654 or the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 341, Millersburg 44654.
She was born Sept. 3, 1907 in New Philadelphia to Fred L. Luikart and Mary Louise (Tisher) Luikart. She married Howard Shonk on July 5, 1932. He preceded her in death in 1958.
Surviving are her sister, Dorothy Johnson of Tuscarawas; a daughter, Kathryn Enderle of Fort Myers, Fla. and Wooster; a son, James Shonk of Connecticut; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Floyd Streit
ASHLAND -- Floyd J. Streit, 89, formerly of South Broad Street in Ashland, died at Brethren Care Village, Friday evening, April 7, 2000.
He was born in Red Haw, Ohio on December 10, 1910, the son of the late John and Jessie (Osburn) Streit, and had been a resident of Ashland County all of his life.
On October 15, 1932 he was married to Frances K. Hastings who survives him, he is also survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Nevin Bowers of Ashland and one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis T. and Kathleen Streit of Franklin, Ind.; four grandchildren, Todd K. and Lisa Bowers of Olmstead Falls, Matthew T. and Julie Bowers of Ashland, Jason E. Streit and Jennifer L. Streit, both of Franklin, Ind. and two great-granddaughters, Annalise Bowers of Olmstead Falls and Ellie Bowers of Ashland.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 11, at 2 p.m. at the Denbow-Primm-Kemery Funeral Home with the Rev. Budd L. Sprague and Chaplain Kenneth Lindecamp officiating. Burial will be in the Ashland Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests that memorials in his memory may be made to the Polk Lions Club or to Brethren Care Village Residents Fund.

Mabel Mullet
LOUDONVILLE -- Mabel L. Heller Mullet, 80, 803 South Mount Vernon Ave., died early Friday morning, April 7, 2000, at Colonial Manor Health Care Center.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Perrysville Baptist Church with the Rev. Howard Burnett officiating. Burial will be at Loudonville Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville, where Eastern Star services will be at 8:30 p.m.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Holmes County Senior Center, 224 N. Clay St., Millersburg 44654.
She was born April 9, 1919 in Mansfield to Lewis and Margaret (Mapes) Parrot and married Orris Walter Heller on Dec. 24, 1939. He died in 1962. She then married Leslie Eugen Mullet on June 16, 1967. He survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Nancy Heller of Loudonville and Jack and Donna Heller of Perrysville; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Gail Hunter of Loudonville; stepson and daughter-in-law, Nick and Wanda Mullet of Millersburg; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a sister, Grace Arnholt of Loudonville.

Ohlen Miller
SUGARCREEK -- Ohlen "Joe" Miller, 88, of Sugarcreek, died Friday, April 7, 2000, at Union Hospital in Dover.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Walnut Creek Mennonite Church with Pastors Ross Miller and Matt Hamsher officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the church and Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Walnut Creek Mennonite Church, Old Pump Road, Box 182, Walnut Creek 44687.
Arrangements are being handled by Butler-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
He was born Dec. 31, 1911 in Holmes County to Nathan and Anna (Hershberger) Miller.
Surviving are his wife, Pauline (Miller) Miller, whom he married Dec. 22, 1941; three sons, Charlie (Sherry) Miller of Sugarcreek, Thomas (Jean) Miller of Dundee and Ned (Darlene) Miller of Killbuck; two daughters, Mrs. Ken (Glenda) Hochstetler of Salt Lake City, Utah and Mrs. Robert (Gayle) Brown of Sugarcreek; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Judy Atkinson
WOOSTER -- Judy K. Atkinson, 55, 2876 N. Apple Creek Road, died Friday, April 7, 2000, at Wooster Community Hospital, after a long illness.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at 11 a.m. at the Smithville Mennonite Church with the Rev. Bert Parks and Rev. David Miller officiating. Interment will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Smithville Mennonite Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691, Smithville Mennonite Church, or to the Wilderness Center of Wilmot.
She was born Feb. 4, 1945 in Wooster to George and Velma (Troyer) Hostetler and married James Dale Atkinson on March 27, 1964. He survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Dale Atkinson of Smithville; her mother, Velma Hostetler of Smithville; sister and brother-in-law, Leora and Dave Gerber of Dalton; brother, Loren Hostetler of Wooster; brother and sister-in-law, Arlin and Jean Hostetler of Smithville and a sister-in-law, Sue Springer Hostetler Turskey of Orrville.

Vernon Yoder
FREDERICKSBURG -- Vernon A. Yoder, 21, 8270 County Road 235, died Saturday evening, April 8, 2000, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Holmes County Road 77, near Mount Hope.
Services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the residence, with Bishop Elmer E. Troyer officiating. Burial will be at Yoder Cemetery, Salt Creek Township, Holmes County.
Friends may call anytime at the residence. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton, is handling arrangements.
He was born June 4, 1978 in Millersburg to Atlee J. and Arie (Gingerich) Yoder.
Surviving are his parents of the home; sisters, Lori and Ada, and a brother, Willis A., all of the home and a brother, Steven A. Yoder and his wife, Marilyn, of Fredericksburg; grandmothers, Mary Yoder of Dundee and Ada Gingerich of Fredericksburg.
Grandfathers, John N. Yoder and Albert M. Gingerich, died previously.

Martha Horn
LOUDONVILLE -- Martha M. (Horn) Sigler Baylor, 89, 888 N. Spring St., died Saturday evening, April 8, 2000, at Colonial Manor Health Care Center.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Loudonville, with Pastor Terry Ruther officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Perrysville.
Friends may call Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home, or one hour prior to the services at the church.
The family requests that contributions be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 222 E. Main St., Loudonville 44842.
She was born June 7, 1910 in Loudonville to Edward and Margaret (Sprang) Horn and married Donald E. Sigler on Dec. 25, 1932. He died in 1941. On March 10, 1978, she married Wade Baylor. He died in 1984.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Wilkins and her husband, William, of Salem; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Esther Heffelfinger of Loudonville.

Harry Kinney
LODI -- Harry L. Kinney, 87, of Lodi, died Sunday, April 9, 2000, at Medina General Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Parker & Son Funeral Home in Lodi, with Harold Kinney Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call tonight (Monday) from 7-9 at the funeral home.
He was born Aug. 28, 1912 in Graysville to Homer and Lizzie (Allen) Kinney and married Fanchion Harriman. She survives.
Other survivors include children and their spouses, Susan and Tim Newport, Bob and Linda Kinney and Rick and Rose Kinney, all of Lodi, Loren and Cindy Kinney of Gainesboro, Tenn., Terry Kinney of West Salem and Dan and Barb Kinney of Homerville; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ethel Frank of Woodsfield; and a brother, Forrest "Wimp" Kinney of Burbank.

David Pettry
LODI -- David D. Pettry, 35, of Lodi, died Sunday, April 9, 2000, at Medina General Hospital.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Parker & Son Funeral home in Lodi, with Pastor Jerry Armand officiating. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Homerville.
Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was born May 11, 1964 in Cleveland to Eugene and Reba Pettry and married Elaine Burns. She survives.
Other survivors include a stepson, Steven Burns of Lodi; his parents of Lodi; sisters and their spouses, Carol and Brian Burns of Sterling and Sharon and Charles Favara of Lodi; brothers and their spouses, Carl and Karen Pettry of Lodi and Bobby and Cynthia Pettry of Ashland; and a grandmother, Leona Dickens of Cleveland.

Thomas Leasure
WEST SALEM -- Thomas H. Leasure, 50, of West Salem, died Friday, April 7, 2000, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Graveside services were held this morning (Monday) at 11 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster, with the Rev. Sylvia Miatke officiating.
Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem, is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
He was born Sept. 4, 1949 in Alliance to Thomas and Jeanette (Hoopes) Leasure and married Marie Salsgiver on March 4, 1972. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Theresa Leasure of Shreve and Trevor of the home; his parents of West Salem; a brother, Timothy Leasure and a sister, Linda Sue Leasure, both of Columbus.

G. Karl Zollars
WEST LEBANON -- G. Karl Zollars, 78, of West Lebanon, died Monday morning, April 10, 2000, at his residence after a period of declining health.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Union Cemetery in West Lebanon, with the Rev. Cathy Meyer officiating.
There will be no calling hours. Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
He was born Sept. 9, 1921 in Warsaw to Harry D. and Mary Elizabeth (Haggans) Zollars and married Mary O. Snavely on Sept. 1, 1950. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Mrs. Al (Patricia) Hill of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Jeff (Victoria) Hartzler of Wooster and Richard Zollars of England; seven grandchildren; and sisters, Vera Demlow and Bonnie Gilbert, both of Orrville.

Forrest Burkholder
WOOSTER -- Forrest D. Burkholder, 96, of Smithville-Western Care Center, formerly of Smithville, died Friday, April 7, 2000, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Memorial services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Smithville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Allan Bevere officiating. Private burial will be held. There will be no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to Smithville United Methodist Church, 243 N. Milton St., Smithville 44677.
He was born April 16, 1903 to E.U. and Amanda Burkholder and married Dorothy Leickheim on June 14, 1928. She died Sept. 23, 1996.
Surviving are a daughter, Julia Yackey and her husband, William G., of Bradenton, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Reda Burkholder of Apple Creek; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Arlieen Swartz
WOOSTER -- Arlieen V. Swartz, 82, 1028 Oak Hill Road, died Sunday afternoon, April 9, 2000, in the emergency room at Wooster Community Hospital, after a short illness.
Memorial services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Central Christian Church in Wooster, with the Rev. David F. Stout officiating. Private burial will be at Wooster Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
There will be no calling hours. Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, Wooster, is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
She was born Sept. 17, 1917 in Wooster to Karl and Louise (Wepler) Walton and married Edward N. Swartz on Aug. 20, 1938 in Newport, Ky. He died Nov. 20, 1976.
Surviving are children and their spouses, Edward L. and Sharon Swartz, Robert S. Swartz, Janice and Paul K. Garver and Karen and J.C. Hostettler, all of Wooster; grandchildren and their spouses, William Garver, Mark and Pamela Swartz, Scott and Huisuk Swartz, Amy and John Pisani, Beth and Mike Jewell, Johneen and Mike Gordon, Jolene Hostettler and Jill and Natalie Swartz; great-grandchildren, Mia and Katie Swartz, Johna and Erin Gordon, Nathan and Isabelle Pisani and Annaliese Butterbaugh; a brother, Richard S. Walton and his wife, Freeda, and a sister, Lucille Walton, all of Wooster.

Carl Wise
LOUDONVILLE -- Carl M. Wise, 92, 3178 Township Road 629, died Sunday, April 9, 2000, at the home of his daughter in Worthington, after a four-month illness.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville, with the Rev. Terry Ruther officiating. Burial will be at Loudonville Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Road, Columbus 43215; or to Loudonville Fire Department Emergency Medical Service Inc., 200 N. Market St., Loudonville 44842.
He was born April 7, 1908 in Ashland County to Millerd M. and Margaret Belle (VanScoder) Wise and married Opal Derrow on Feb. 24, 1934. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Terri Francisco and her husband, Mike, of Worthington; grandchildren, Amanda Francisco and Matthew Francisco, both of Worthington; and 26 nieces and nephews.

Evelyn von Gunten
CORNWALL, Pa. -- Evelyn T. von Gunten, 76, 2010 Rosewood Drive, Cornwall Manor, died Sunday, April 9, 2000, at Lebanon Good Samaritan Hospital.
Memorial services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in Zerr Chapel of Cornwall Manor, Cornwall, Pa., Burial will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Mount Paran Presbyterian Cemetery, Randallstown, Md.
Arrangements are being handled by Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, Pa.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cornwall Manor Benevolent Care Fund, P.O. Box 125, Cornwall, Pa. 17016.
She was born Dec. 27, 1923 in Rittman to George E. and Florence (Fritzinger) Haller and married Samuel W. von Gunten. He died previously.
Surviving are daughters and their spouses, Nancy J. and Thomas G. Klein of Millers, Md., and Margaret A. and Joseph M. Harmon III of Waldorf, Md.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Russell Haller of Wadsworth.

Dorris Lichtenwalter
WOOSTER -- Dorris I. Lichtenwalter, 75, 905 Portage Road, Apt. 65, died Monday, April 10, 2000, at her home.
Private family services will be held at a later date. There will be no calling hours. McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, is handling arrangements.
She was born June 16, 1924 in Clearfield County, Pa., To Harvey and Lillian Mae (Meckley) Hutton.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Juergens of Canton; granddaughters, Nancy Kelser of Perrysville, Robin Seffens and Beth Myers, both of Lakeville; great-grandsons, Jeremy and Stephen Seffens and Larry Kelser; and a great-great-granddaughter, Cadence Seffens.

Martha Baylor
