Harley Bowman
ORRVILLE -- Harley B. Bowman, 74, 450 W. Market St., died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2001, at his home after a two-year-illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Augsburg Lutheran Church in Orrville with the Rev. Walter Jordan officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
Friends may call Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville or one hour prior to the services.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691; or Augsburg Lutheran Church, 140 W. Water St., Orrville 44667.
He was born Aug. 6, 1927, in New Castle, Pa., to William C. and Hazel (Moore) Bowman and married Betty Bintrim on Dec. 1, 1945, in New Castle, Pa. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Ronald (Joanna) Bowman, Cary (Anita) Bowman and Kriss (Nancy) Bowman, all of Orrville, and Wendy Gochnauer of Malvern; nine grandchildren; a great-grandchild and a brother, William D. Bowman of Orrville.

Lawrence Stewart
ASHLAND -- Lawrence D. Stewart, 74, of Sandusky Street died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001, at Samaritan Regional Health System from complications of diabetes.
Memorial services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at First Christian Church in Ashland with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Gibson officiating. Burial will be at Ashland Cemetery, where Joint Veterans will conduct military rites.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church. Heyl Funeral Home in Ashland is handling arrangements.
The family suggests contributions be made to First Christian Church, 405 Cottage St., Ashland 44805.
He was born May 18, 1927, in Millersburg to Edward E. and Fern (Fortune) Stewart.
Surviving are his wife, Sara (Bally) Gorrell Stewart, who he married Aug. 1, 1986; children, David (Mary) Stewart of Topeka, Kan., Lawrence (Kimberly) Stewart Jr. of Wheatridge, Colo., and Robert (Joyce) Stewart of Broomfield, Colo.; a stepson, Gregory (Gayle) Gorrell of Ashland; a granddaughter; five step-grandchildren; brothers, Harold (Avis) Stewart of Inman, S.C., and Allen Randles of Ashland; and a sister, Eileen (Leo) Failor of Massillon.

Thomas Radiano
WALNUT CREEK -- Thomas Anthony Radiano, 65, of Walnut Hills Commons, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2001, at Majora Lane Care Center.
Services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Millersburg with Father Ron Aubury officiating. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
There will be no calling hours. Butler-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek is handling arrangements.
He was born May 4, 1936, in the Bronx, N.Y., to Thomas Anthony and Anna (Regan) Radiano Sr. and married Margaret Raimer Braam. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Mark Radiano of Miami, Fla.; four grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Rose of Greensboro, N.C.

Thomas Stone
ASHLAND -- Thomas Eric Stone, 41, of Ashland, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2001, at his residence.
He was the father of Eric Daniel Stone of Wooster.
Memorial services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Maple Grove Church of the Brethren in Ashland with the Rev. John Ballinger officiating.
Friends may call Wednesday from 9:30-11 a.m. at the church.
Arrangements are being handled by Denbow-Primm-Kemery Funeral Home in Ashland.
The family suggests contributions be made to Maple Grove Church of the Brethren Building Fund, 960 Township Road 964 Ashland 44805.
He was born June 12, 1960, in Ashland to Reed and Janet L. (Longsdorf) Stone.
Other survivors include his parents of Ashland; a sister, Tina (Allen) Brinegar of Mansfield; brothers, Terry (Kim) Stone of Wilmington and Tim Stone of Ashland; and grandparents, Ercie Stone of Ashland and Blake Longsdorf of Nova.

Lance Miller
SHREVE -- Lance E. Miller, 54, 305 N. Market St., died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Schlabach Funeral Home in Shreve, with Bill Smith officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggests contributions be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
He was born April 27, 1947, in Lodi to Bruce E. and Pauline L. (Lance) Miller and married Guinda Zickafoose on Jan. 2, 1976. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Logan Miller of the home.

Dorcas Clark
DOYLESTOWN -- Dorcas Ruth Clark, 80, of Doylestown, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, at her home.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Doylestown United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jim Humphrey officiating. Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Doylestown.

She was born Jan. 19, 1921, in West Union, W.Va., to Philip and Maud (Shuman) Cowman and married Bill Clark. He died previously.
Surviving are children, Carl (Patsy) Dulin, Carolyn (Dick) Grable and Denise (Jim) Dies, all of Doylestown; grandchildren, Rick Grable, Todd (Jennifer) Grable, Kim Grable, Carrie and Ben Dulin, Christopher and Caitlin Dies; great-grandchildren, Erika Grable, Abigail and Cameron Grable; a sister, Glenda Smith of Connecticut; and special friends and sisters-in-law, Daisy and Dolly Clark.

Cleo Joiner
MARSHALLVILLE -- Cleo L. Joiner, 95, of Marshallville, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, at Dunlap Memorial Hospital in Orrville.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Marshallville United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Karen Oehl officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church.

She was born May 9, 1906, in Lodi and married Joseph Joiner. He died previously.
Surviving are a son, Harry (Corinne) Sheets of Marshallville; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.

Frances Iannarelli
SOUTH EUCLID -- Frances J. (Stih) Iannarelli, 89, of South Euclid, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church in South Euclid. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of South Euclid, 4600 Mayfield Road.

She was born in Cleveland.
Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Angelo J. "Buck" "Joe" Iannarelli, formerly of Wooster; children, Phillip Iannarelli and Barbara (James) Walker; six grandchildren; and a brother, Joseph Stih

Walter Immel
DUNDEE -- Walter Immel, 94, of Dundee, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, at his residence.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at First United Church of Christ in Sugarcreek, with the Rev. Welton Stein officiating. Burial will be at East Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight (Saturday) from 4-8 at Butler-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek, or one hour prior to the services at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Tuscarawas County; or the First United Church of Christ in Sugarcreek.
He was born Nov. 21, 1906, in Holmes County, to John and Amanda (Hochstetler) Immel and married Florence Deetz. She died in March 1965. On Nov. 18, 1972, he married Gertrude "Gertie" (Stress) Gerber. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Stanley (Pauline) Immel, Merlyn (Carol) Immel, Duane (Sandra) Immel and Earl (Becky) Immel, all of Dundee and Margaret (Rick) DeBois Cugliari of Dover; a stepson, Stan (Kathy) Gerber of Dover; 20 grandchildren; a step-grandson; 42 great-grandchildren; a brother, Garrison Immel and a sister, Esther Hershberger, both of Sugarcreek.

Ronald Valentine
RITTMAN -- Ronald J. Valentine, 64, 228 N. Metzger Ave., died peacefully Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, at his home.
His body will be cremated. There will be no calling hours or services. Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman, is handling arrangements.
Contributions may be made to the family to help defray expenses, in care of Gillman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 81, Rittman 44270.
He was born Nov. 18, 1937, in Sterling, to Clifford and Wilma (Carnahan) Valentine and married Sheilah Nalley. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Patrick Valentine, Scott (Jean) Valentine and Curtis (Robin) Valentine, all of Rittman, Chris (Tracy) Valentine of Loxahatchee, Fla., Elizabeth Valentine of Wooster and Lorraine Valentine of Apple Creek; seven grandchildren; brothers, Dwain (Mildred) Valentine of Wooster and Dennis (Sheila) Valentine of Sterling; and sisters, Karen (Sid) Simpkins of Orrville and Janet (Ray) Piatt of Rittman.

Virginia Jennings
JEROMESVILLE -- Virginia E. Jennings, 78, formerly of 206 Township Road 2100, died Thursday morning, Oct. 11, 2001, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
Services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville, with Pastor Julie Thoms officiating. Burial will be at Jeromesville Cemetery.

She was born Nov. 23, 1922, in Parkersburg, W.Va., to O. Audrey and Edna (Liggs) Stark.
Surviving are children, Noreen Cavallaro, Joyce Allen, Frank (Nancy) Browne and Ron (Karen) Browne, all of Jeromesville, Jane Beck of Ashland, Rosemary Smith of Wooster, Lonnie (Carol) Browne of Frenchtown, Mont., and George Browne of Perrysville; 19 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.

Paul Gabor
MARSHALLVILLE -- Paul E. "Gene" Gabor, 54, of Marshallville, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2001, at his home following a history of health problems.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. George Catholic Church, 7615 N. Second Ave., Clinton, with Monsignor Robert Bacher officiating. Burial will be at Clinton Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 3-5 p.m. at Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home in Canal Fulton.

He was born in Wadsworth.

WOOSTER -- Eugene F. Ballinger, 66, of Wooster, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with Pastor Paul Donihue officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

Fay Hostetler
MASSILLON -- Fay J. Hostetler, 79, of Massillon, died Thursday morning, Oct. 11, 2001, at Rose Lane Health Care Center, after a lengthy illness.
She was the mother of Maynard D. Hostetler and the sister of Donald Myers, both of North Lawrence.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon, with the Rev. David Dooley officiating. Burial will be at Brookfield Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight (Friday) from 6-8 at the funeral home, or one hour prior to the services.
She was born June 4, 1922, in Massillon to Laird W. and Goldie (Wiles) Myers and was married to Ervan H. Hostetler for 59 years. He survives.
Other survivors include eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, LaDean Chesley of Sun City, Calif.

Jason Jervis
RITTMAN -- Jason S. Jervis, 23, 232 Fairlawn Ave., died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, at Cleveland Clinic.
Services will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman, with the Rev. Robert Webb officiating. Burial will be at Rittman Cemetery.

RITTMAN -- Donald W. Thonen, 78, of Rittman, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2001, at Apostolic Christian Home.
Family graveside services will be Saturday at Rittman Cemetery, with the Rev. Michael Decker officiating. There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are being handled by Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman.

He was born June 27, 1923, in Cameron, to Elmer and Elsie (Crause) Thonen.

WOOSTER -- William B. Speicher, 72, 2778 Eastwood Drive, died Wednesday evening, Oct. 10, 2001, at his home.
Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, with the Rev. Leo Keil officiating. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery.

He was born Feb. 20, 1929, in Orrville, to Ralph and Dorothy (Billiar) Speicher and was married to Joan (Merriman) Speicher for 51 years. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Jill (John) Arnett of Upper Arlington; sisters, Wanda Jolliff and Colleen Martin, both of Wooster and Peggy Achamire of Apple Creek; and a brother, James Speicher of Wooster.

Titus Yoder
SUGARCREEK -- Titus C. Yoder, 19, 136 Smokey Lane, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, at his home.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the residence, with Bishop Jonas P. Miller officiating. Burial will be at Yoder Cemetery, Clark Township, Holmes County.
Arrangements are being handled by Butler-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
He was born Dec. 21, 1981, in Holmes County, to Ivan L. and Miriam (Weaver) Yoder.
Surviving are his parents of Sugarcreek; brothers, Stephen, Daniel and Luke, all of the home; and grandparents, Levi M. and Edna Yoder of Fredericksburg and grandmother and step-grandfather, Ada and Chris Miller of the home.
