Gladys Tomblin
ORRVILLE -- Gladys M. Tomblin, 81, of Orrville and formerly of Wayne, W.Va. died Friday, July 30, 1999, at Doctors Hospital in Massillon.
Services were held Tuesday at Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Wayne, W.Va. Elders Ivory Williamson and Charles Lucas officiated. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Kenova, W.Va.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
She married Jay Tomblin. He died previously.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Thurman and Joan Tomblin and Erval and Judy Tomblin; two daughters and a son-in-law, Ada and Jim Grose and Polly Spence, all of Orrville; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sissy Mae Jones of Lewisburg, W.Va. and Alice Brumfield of Kenova, W.Va.

Edna Reynolds
ORRVILLE -- Edna M. (Badertscher) Reynolds, 102, of Brenn-Field Nursing Center, Orrville, died Monday afternoon, August 2, 1999, at the nursing center following a long period of declining health.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Orrville with the Rev. Ramsey Wallace officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
Friends may call tonight (Wednesday) from 7-9 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville or one hour prior to the services at the church on Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Alliance Women, c/o Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 300 South Walnut St., Orrville 44667 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
She married Harvey Badertscher on Nov. 12, 1916 in Kidron. He died in January of 1970. She then married George Reynolds on Aug. 22, 1971 in Orrville. He died in June of 1979.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. William H. (Valeda Yoder) Bezanson of Fort Myers, Fla. and Eleanor Maiwurm of Orrville; a son, Wilford (Donna) Badertscher of Orrville; three stepdaughters, Evelyn Forfia of Orrville, Mrs. William (Alice) Olson of Wooster, and Elizabeth Gensler of North Olmsted; a stepson, Robert (Margaret) Reynolds of Orrville; eight grandchildren; sixteen step-grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren, numerous step-great-grandchildren and seven great- great-grandchildren.

John Keim
WOOSTER -- John S. Keim, 89, of Wooster and formerly of West Salem, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 1999, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem with the Rev. Martha Mathatas officiating. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to West Salem United Methodist Church, 80 E. Buckeye St., West Salem.
Surviving are his wife, Eleanor (Taylor) Keim, whom he married June 18, 1969; a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Gary Price of Wakeman; two sons and a daughter-in-law, John Keim of Sullivan and James and Fay Keim of Wooster; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Harvey Keim Jr. of Wooster and a sister, Betty Bach of Wooster.

Margaret Figura
NEFFS -- Margaret R. Figura, 82, of Neffs, died Wednesday, July 28, 1999, at her home.
Services were held Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Neffs. The Rev. Gary Zalenski officiated. Burial was at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 54038 St. Mary's Avenue, Neffs 43940 or the Neffs Fire Department, P.O. Box 227, Neffs 43940.
Arrangements were handled by Bauknecht Funeral Home in Bellaire.
Surviving are two sons, Joseph of Orrville and Louis "Ed" of St. Clairsville; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Sandra) Jefferis of Barnesville; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Joseph Phillips of Canton, Paul Phillips of Akron and Steve Phillips of Trevose, Pa. and seven sisters, Anna Banfield of Rittman, Sister Agnes Phillips of Bardstown, Ky., Susie Constable of Hemet, Calif., Josephine Phillips and Mildred McCammon, both of Wadsworth, Pauline Petcovic of Freedom, Pa. and Kathleen Copus of Cleveland.

Clara Buchwalter
WOOSTER -- Clara L. Buchwalter, 86, formerly of Back Orrville Road, died Monday, Aug. 2, 1999, at Brenn-Field Nursing Center, following a long illness.
Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Paradise Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Robert Armitage officiating. Burial will be at Paradise Cemetery, Wooster.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. at Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville.

She married Ellis Buchwalter on April 30, 1929. He died Oct. 9, 1987.
Surviving are sons and their spouses, Donald and Norma Buchwalter of Orrville, Bill and Betty Buchwalter of Wooster and Dale and Betty L. Buchwalter, all of Wooster; nine grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren and a sister, Dorothy Sinclair of Smithville.

WADSWORTH -- Patricia J. (Swisher) Boley, 58, of Wadsworth, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 1999, at Akron General Medical Center, after a lengthy illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Hilliard Cox Mullaney Funeral Home, Wadsworth with the Rev. Kenneth Baldwin officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Marshallville.
Friends may call tonight (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.

WOOSTER -- Lydia H. Weaver, 89, 7291 W. Smithville Western Road, died Saturday afternoon, July 31, 1999, at her home, after a lingering illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Chester Mennonite Church with Pastors Willis Horst, James Ramer and Paul Zimmerman officiating. Burial will be at Chester Mennonite Cemetery.
Friends may call today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the Church Fellowship Hall and one hour prior to the time of service at the church on Wednesday.
Arrangements are being handled by McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home.
Surviving are her husband Elam Weaver, whom she married Oct. 22, 1933; children and their spouses, Edith and Lloyd Koppes of Shelby, Elmer and Bertha Weaver of Dalton, Naomi and Junior Richard, Harvey and Mabel Weaver, Roy and Doris Weaver and Virgil and Janet Weaver, all of Wooster, Melvin and Ruth Weaver of Reinholds, Pa., Elam and Ella Mae Weaver of Shippensburg, Pa. and Lydia Ann and Dana Good of West Salem; 49 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren and 185 great-grandchildren.

TACOMA, Wash. -- Jodi Lynn Gleisner, 20, of Tacoma, Wash. and formerly of Homerville, died Friday, July 30, 1999, at her home in Tacoma, Wash.
Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Stephens Church, 44 Britton St., West Salem with the Rev. Carl Uhler and Joe Konen officiating. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Homerville.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Parker & Son Funeral Home in Lodi.

Elda Hartzler
RITTMAN -- Elda J. Hartzler, 94, of Rittman, died Wednesday evening, Aug. 29, 2001, at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church, Rittman, with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be at the Apostolic Cemetery.
Friends may call today (Friday) from 2-4 and 6-9 at Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman or one hour prior to the services at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Apostolic Christian Home, 10680 Steiner Road, Rittman 44270.
She was born Jan. 16, 1907, in Sardis, Monroe County, to Allen and Callie (Rufener) Schar and married John S. Hartzler on April 17, 1968. He died Feb. 29, 1984.
Surviving are stepchildren, John (Joan) Hartzler Jr., Joseph (Marian) Hartzler and Marjorie (John) Zollinger all of Sterling, Jane (Irwin) Klotzle and Verna (Isaac) Rufener Jr., both of Rittman, Rosemary (Lester) Gerber of Bluffton, Ind., and Elaine (John) McCreary of Wooster; 36 step-grandchildren; 118 step-great-grandchildren; 12 step-great-great grandchildren; brothers, Dale (Evelyn) Schar of Rittman and Allen (Ivadel) Schar Jr. of Creston; and a sister, Martha Blatter of Hebron.

Nona Hanna
CRESTON -- Nona A. Hanna, 84, 70 Cherokee Lane, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2001, at Akron General Medical Center after a period of declining health.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with the Rev. Kristin McKinley officiating. Burial will be at Canaan Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight (Friday) from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 127, Burbank 44214.
She was born Nov. 14, 1916, in Kenton to Clarence S. and Alta (Cale) Shadley and married Charles Hanna on April 15, 1939. He survives.
Other survivors include children, Victoria Nichols of Hamilton and Van (Rebecca) Hanna of Portage Lakes; grandchildren, Jennifer Lowe of Hamilton and Zachary Hanna of Burbank; and a great-granddaughter, Bryanna Lowe.

Helen Walter
CANTON -- Helen F. Walters, 77, of Canton died Thursday morning, Aug. 30, 2001, at Canton Christian Home.
She was the mother of Terry (Linda) Walters of Creston.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at North Industry Christian Church with Steven Kimbrel officiating.
Burial will be at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
Friends may call today (Friday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home, 4041 S. Cleveland Ave., Canton or one hour prior to the services at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to North Industry Christian Church Music Department.
Other survivors include stepchildren, Bill (Benita) Walters of Leesburg, Fla., and Geneva Walters of Wildwood, Fla.; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; nine step-grandchildren; 14 step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Gladys Ferren of Canton; and a brother, Clarence (Ethelyn) Linsenbigler of Knoxville, Tenn.
Her husband, Glenn Walters, died in 1995.

Mary Johns
ORRVILLE -- Mary J. Johns, 73, 1515 Harding Ave., died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2001, at Dunlap Memorial Hospital in Orrville after a short illness.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville with the Rev. Walter Jordan officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
Friends may call tonight (Friday) from 6-8 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Wayne County Branch, 1740 Cleveland Road, Wooster 44691; or to Augsburg Lutheran Church, 140 W. Water St., Orrville 44667.
She was born Dec. 11, 1927, in Dalton to Theo E. and Mary (Nussbaum) Flueckiger and married Robert L. Johns on June 14, 1952, in Orrville. He died Sept. 7, 1998.
Surviving are children, William "Bill" (Susan) Johns of Warsaw, Va., Barb Carozza of Orrville and Cindy (Norman) West of Sandston, Va.; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; sisters, Nora Guzzo of Wooster and Grace (Wayne) King of Dalton; and brothers, Noah (Rose) Flueckiger of Sun City, Ariz., Glenn Flueckiger of Orrville and Dennis Flueckiger of Dalton.

Junior Georgen
WOOSTER -- Junior Georgen, 60, 7094 Canaan Center Road, Lot 2, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2001, at Horn Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Wooster Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster is handling arrangements.
Friends who wish may make contributions to McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, to help defray funeral expenses.
He was born Dec. 14, 1940, in Lodi to Junior C. and Ethel E. (VanMeter) Georgen Sr.
Surviving are children, Michael (Jennifer) Georgen of Virginia, Andrew Lunsford, Junior Georgen and Twila Georgen, all of Wooster; and six grandchildren.

Barry Salisbury
FIREBRICK, Ky. -- Barry O'Neil Salisbury, 51, of Firebrick, Ky., formerly of Rittman, died Tuesday evening, Aug. 28, 2001, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at South Shore First Church of God in South Shore, Ky., with the Rev. Joel Cyrus officiating. Burial will be at Salisbury Cemetery, Firebrick, Ky.
Friends may call tonight (Friday) from 6-9 at Roberson Funeral Home, South Shore, Ky., or one hour prior to the services at the church.
He was born in July 12, 1950, in Martin, Ky., to Wayne and Charlotte (Caudill) Salisbury and married Carolyn Bing. She survives.
Other survivors include daughters, Dusti (Doug) Winter of Columbus and Mandy (Paul) Leslie of Kapalei, Hawaii; his mother of Columbus; brothers, Richard (Evelyn) Salisbury of Sandy Hook, Ky., Randy (Elfie) Salisbury and Emmitt (Nada) Salisbury, both of South Shore, Ky., Orris (Lannelle) Salisbury of Shepherd, Texas, and Mike (Karen) Salisbury of Cincinnati; sisters, Sue (T-Bone) VanHook of Oklahoma City, Okla., Bea (Bill) Thompson and Rebecca (Mike) Diller, both of South Shore, Ky., Evelyn (Gary) Norris of Powers, Ore., Diana (Jim) Robinson of Rittman, Rita (Dale) Bryan of Akron, Rhonda (Richard) Simonton of Barberton, Teresa (Darrell) Griffith of Copley, Renee (Marlon) Taylor of Huntington, W.Va., and Elfie Salisbury of Medina; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
His father died in 1990.

Fred Blosser
DALTON -- Fred C. Blosser of Dalton, passed away at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29, at Legends Care Center in Massillon.
The third son born to Gertrude Graber and Marion C. Blosser on Sept. 20, 1919, Fred married Dorothy L. Stewart of Canton on Dec. 9, 1943.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, sons and families, Curt and Mary of Dalton, Fred and Beth of Canton, Dan and Jill of Dalton, Dave and Sherry of Canton and Rick and Jeanne of Dalton, a foster son, Keith Briand and Linda of North Carolina; 11 grandchildren, Nate, Dana, Erin, Kristin, Josh, Bob, Brent, Ashley, Derrick, Lauren and Deanna; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Friday, Aug. 31 from 5-9 p.m. at Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home, 29 E. Main St., Dalton. Final viewing will be one hour prior to the services at the church.
Services will be Saturday, Sept. 1 at 11 a.m. at Dalton Presbyterian Church on West Main Street, Dalton. The Rev. Mike McFarren will officiate. Burial will be at Dalton Cemetery.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Dalton High School All-Sports Booster Club, 144 N. Mill St., Dalton 44618.

Karen Dalrymple
WOOSTER -- Karen Sue Dalrymple, 59, of 5751 S. Honeytown Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001, at her home.
Memorial services will be Tuesday at 8 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, with the Rev. Chad Grubb officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691; or B-About Sail Ministry Inc., 417 Broad St., Ashland 44805.
She was born Aug. 9, 1942, in Lodi to Robert and Martha (Travis) Grim Sr., and married Daniel Scott Dalrymple on Aug. 20, 1960. He survives.
Other survivors include children, Scott Allen Dalrymple of Loudonville, Bradley Dean Dalrymple and Leigh Frontz, both of Wooster; three grandchildren; her mother of Seville; sisters, Judith Riedel and Jeanne Hoops, both of Chippewa Lake; and brothers, Bob Grim Jr. of Plymouth, Wis., and Jack Grim of Jacksonville, Fla.

Patrick McCaskey
LOUDONVILLE -- Patrick Alfred McCaskey, 68, of 323 N. Union St., died Wednesday morning, Aug. 29, 2001, at Samaritan Hospital in Ashland, after a brief illness.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville, with Chaplain Garry Guiffre officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Perrysville, where military rites will be conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
Friends may call Friday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Green-Perrysville Fire Department, in care of Glenn Atkinson, 162 W. 2nd St., Perrysville 44864.
He was born May 30, 1933, in Washington Township, Holmes County, to Alfred B. and Ruth M. (Shoemaker) McCaskey.
Surviving are brothers, James Jules McCaskey and Michael T. McCaskey, and a sister, Ruth "Mickey" Ferris, all of Loudonville; and many nieces and nephews.

Alma Curie
ORRVILLE -- Alma M. Curie, 94, formerly of Orrville, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2001, at the Apostolic Christian Home, Rittman.
Services will be Friday at 7 p.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church, 2360 S. Medina Line Road, Wadsworth, with the ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be Saturday at the Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery near Rittman, at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call two hours prior to the services at the church.
Arrangements are being handled by Auble Funeral Home in Orrville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691; or to the Apostolic Christian Home, 10680 Steiner Road, Rittman 44270.
She was born March 16, 1907, in Sardis to Albert and Emma (Huegle) Riggenbach and married Arthur Curie on June 29, 1928, in Orrville. He died July 18, 1977.
Surviving are sisters, Laura Oppliger and Louise Spangler, both of Rittman; a brother, Alvin Riggenbach of Mansfield; and nieces and nephews.
