RITTMAN -- Marie E. Rausch, 91, of Rittman, formerly of Mansfield, died Saturday evening, Sept. 5, at her home after an extended illness. Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Main Street United Methodist Church, with the Rev. David A. Gilbert officiating. Burial will be at Mansfield Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church. Wappner Funeral Directors in Mansfield is handling arrangements. Surviving are a daughter, Jeanne Rausch of Rittman; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

SHREVE -- Linda S. "Casper" Hasskew, 44, 451 Orchard St., died Monday, Sept. 7, at Austin Health Care Center, after a lengthy illness. There will be no services or calling hours. JACKSONVILLE, Ark. -- Matthew D. Felter, 24, 1315 Southeastern Lot 28, formerly of Wooster, died Saturday, Sept. 5, from injuries sustained in an auto accident in Little Rock, Ark. Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, with the Rev. Junior Kerns officiating. Burial will be at Congress Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Surviving are his father of Jacksonville, Ark., with whom he had made his home; his mother, Brenda Slone of Mount Vernon, Ky.; a sister, Shannon Felter of Wooster; brothers, Scott and Rick Slone, both of Mount Vernon, Ky.; maternal grandparents, Art and Maxine Schumacker of Fremont; and a niece, Amanda Smith of Wooster.

HAMPTON, Ga. -- Ernest Sollsberger, 78, of Hampton, Ga., formerly of Seville, passed away Monday, Aug. 31, 1998. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Sollsberger of Hampton, Ga.; a son, Fred (Ellen) Sollsberger of Hampton, Ga., and a daughter, Sandra (Larry) Kasserman of Ohio; grandchildren, Stacy Ann (Greg) Steele of Ohio, Kelly (Bryan) Landis and Troy (Nancy) Sollsberger, both of Griffin, Ga., Lonnie Sollsberger of Fayetteville, Ga., and Travis Sollsberger of Hampton, Ga.; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1998 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel at Rainer/Carmichael Funeral Home in McDonough, Ga., with the Rev. Larry Keaton officiating. Burial will be at Berea Cemetery in Hampton, Ga.

BIG PRAIRIE -- Ralph Scott, 92, of Big Prairie, died Thursday morning, Sept. 3, at the Holmes County Home, Holmesville, after an extended illness. Graveside services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Christopher Stewart officiating. There will be no calling hours. Surviving are a brother, Harold Scott of Randolph; sisters, Ethel Blonsky of Bedford and Lucille Fink of Massillon; and several nieces and nephews.

Clyde Davis
WOOSTER -- Clyde V. Davis, 66, 1056 Mindy Lane, died Saturday, Aug. 29, at his residence from an apparent heart attack. Private memorial services were held today (Friday) at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville. The Rev. Rufus Thompson officiated. Burial of the cremains will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville at a later date. Surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Marty Outten of Akron; a brother, James Gadson of Oceanside, Calif.; and a half-brother, Dwight Davis of Los Angeles.

NEW PHILADELPHIA -- Billie E. Stutz, 80, 925 3rd St., NW, died Thursday morning, Sept. 3, at Union Hospital in Dover, after a brief illness. He was the brother of Sam (wife Lou) Stutz of Wooster. Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home Chapel in New Philadelphia, with the Rev. Steve Bailey officiating. Burial will be at East Avenue Cemetery in New Philadelphia. ORRVILLE -- James Edward Mullins, infant son of Jerry A. and Katherine (Holdren) Mullins, 9585 Back Orrville Road, was stillborn Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Dunlap Memorial Hospital in Orrville. The body had been cremated. Surviving in addition to his parents are half-sisters and brothers, Ronald A. Harper Jr., Jessica Lynn Voshel, Eric J. Ickes Jr., Zachary and Ashley Mullins, all of the home; grandparents, Dale and Marilyn Holdren of Logan, Bill and Irmajean (Camerlengo) Brokos of Canal Fulton and Donna Duayll of Ruttland; and a great-grandmother of Ruttland.

WILMINGTON -- Benjamin R. Reed, 74, of Wilmington, formerly of Plain City, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, at Arbors of London. He was the father of Jeff (Beth) Reed of Fredericksburg. She was the mother of Katherine (Larry) Titus of Jeromesville and Darlene (James) Bailey of Canton, formerly of Wooster. Graveside services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Ashland Cemetery. Memorial services will be Friday at 6 p.m. at Ashland Church of God, with the Rev. Laurence H. Baucom officiating. There will be no calling hours.
