LAKEVILLE -- Terry L. "Big T" Williamson Sr., 51, of Lakeville, died Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 24, 2001, at Akron General Hospital, Akron, following an eight-month illness.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with the Rev. David Dodridge officiating. Burial will be at Sunnyside Cemetery, Glenmont.
Friends may call today (Friday) from 2-4 and 7-9 at the funeral home.
Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 341, Millersburg 44654 or Holmes County Kidney Foundation, P.O. Box 172, Berlin 44610.
He was born April 28, 1949, in Columbus, and was the son of Paul and Waneta (Eppley) Williamson and worked for Walter Jones Construction Co. of Wooster.
Surviving are two sons, Terry Williamson Jr. of Big Prairie and Jason and his wife, Yvonne Williamson of Grove City; former wife, Liz Williamson of Big Prairie; his mother, Waneta Williamson of Blissfield; a grandson, Zane; two sisters, Mrs. Roger (Vicki) Hayes of Warsaw and Shirly Williamson of Blissfield and a brother, David Williamson of Blissfield.

Esther Neff
WOOSTER -- Esther Blowers Neff, formerly of Shadyside, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, at West View Manor in Wooster, where she had been a resident since June 1995.
Surviving are her daughter, Joanne (Bill) Pim, grandchildren, Bill Pim and Pamela Pim, all of Wooster and Lynn (Glenn) Farner of West Salem and four great-grandchildren
There will be no calling hours. Graveside services for the family will be held at Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shadyside Volunteer Fire Department, Shadyside 43947 or to West View Manor Auxiliary, 1715 Mechanicsburg Road, Wooster 44691.
Arrangements are by McIntire, Davis and Greene Funeral Home, Wooster.

J. Elizabeth Davies
CLEVELAND -- Elizabeth Annat Davies, 99, 13415 Shaker Blvd., died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, at University Hospital in Cleveland.
Services will be Monday at 3 p.m. in the chapel at Wooster Cemetery. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Cleveland Museum of Art, 11150 East Blvd., Cleveland 44106.
Arrangements are being handled by McIntire, Davis and Greene Funeral Home, Wooster.
She was born Jan. 18, 1902, in East Liverpool.
Surviving are a niece and great-nieces and nephews.

Clarence Howell
JERUSALEM -- Clarence G. "Dutch" Howell, 74, Moore Ridge Road, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, with minister John Hamilton officiating. Burial will be at Ozark Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may call today (Friday) from 2-9 at the funeral home.
He was born Oct. 31, 1926, in Wayne County, to Andrew and Ova (Myers) Howell.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Dorothy (Gallaher) Howell of Jerusalem; four daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and John Yontz of Ozark, Helen and Rocky Carpenter of Barnesville, Jean and Richard Hughes of Jerusalem and Connie and Larry Richter of Sardis; seven grandchildren, and four brothers, John, Jack and George Howell, all of Orrville and Vernon Howell of Apple Creek.

Sandra Guthrie
COSHOCTON -- Sandra K. Guthrie, 55 of Coshocton, died early Wednesday morning, Jan. 24, 2001, at her home.
She was the stepmother of Robin Lydic of Millersburg.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Greathouse Funeral Home, Salem, with the Rev. Lester Stinebiser officiating. Burial will be at Keys Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight (Friday) from 6-8 at the funeral home.
She was born Aug. 3, 1945, in Big Battle, to Willis E. "Buzz" and Edrie G. (Ford) Ash.
Surviving in addition to her stepdaughter, are her husband, Kenneth Guthrie; a son, Allen Dwayne Welch II of Salem; stepchildren, Mary Ann Wade of Norfolk, Va., Kenneth Guthrie, Lela Morgan and Bobby Guthrie, all of Coshocton; 13 grandchildren; her mother of Big Flint; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Willis Edward and Arie Ash of Salem and Aubra Lawrence Ash of Clarksburg and a sister, Deborah Ash of Big Flint.

Janet Thomasson
DULUTH, Ga. -- Janet A. Thomasson, 58, of Duluth, Ga., and formerly of Seville, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, in Lawrenceville, Ga.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9282 Acme Road, Seville, with Pastor Gerald Keller officiating. Burial will be at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Seville.
Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
Arrangements are being handled by Armstrong-Waite Funeral Home, Seville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Foundation.
She was born in Wadsworth.
Surviving are her husband, Rob Thomasson of Duluth, Ga.; her mother, Cecelia Dushenke of Lodi and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, William and Betty Watts of Rittman.

Rev. Charles Crabtree
WEST SALEM -- The Rev. Charles "Buford" Crabtree, 76, of West Salem, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday morning, Jan. 25, 2001, at Wooster Community Hospital, following a brief illness.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at West Hill Baptist Church, Wooster, with the Revs. Dan Wingate and Kenny McComas officiating followed by interment at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Wooster. Military rites will be conducted by Wooster Post No. 68 American Legion.
Friends may call at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, Wooster, Sunday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to either West Hill Baptist Church Mission Fund, 2241 Mechanicsburg Road, Wooster 44691 or New Pittsburg Fire and Rescue Department, 3311 N. Elyria Road, Wooster 44691.
Mr. Crabtree was born on Dec. 1, 1924, in Fort Gay, W.Va., to George "Gobel" and Lefa I. (Copley) Crabtree. On Feb. 5, 1943, he married Maxine "Mickey" Mullins in Rittman.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a son, Keith A. (Carol) Crabtree of Reynoldsburg; a daughter, Mrs. Jim (Linda) Billman of West Salem; two brothers, Damon (Renae) Crabtree of Akron and Ronald (Fran) Crabtree of Wooster; two sisters, Pat Pursley of Akron and Glenda Higgins of Arkansas; six grandchildren, Jeni (Jim) Franks, Jody (Fred) Hart, Janice Crabtree, Kim, Tim and Terri Billman and five great-grandchildren, Alex Crabtree Patterson, Mikaela and Issac Franks, Nicole Hart and Tyler Billman, and his stepmother, Rebecca Crabtree of Florida.

Emma Truver
MANSFIELD -- Emma Catherine Truver, 98, formerly of Loudonville and Russell Road, Mansfield, died Saturday morning, Jan. 27, 2001, at Lexington Court Care Center, after a brief illness.
Private services for the family will be held and there will be no visitation. Burial will be at Loudonville Cemetery.
Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville, is in charge of arrangements.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to First Presbyterian Church, in care of Janet Ayers, 1046 Ashland County Road 2786, Perrysville 44864.
She was born March 26, 1902, in Loudonville to Michael and Magdelena (Sprang) Wendling and married William H. Truver on Jan. 24, 1929. He died previously.
Surviving are her daughter, Sarah M. Davis, and her husband, Aaron, of Mansfield and a granddaughter.

Patricia Post
WOOSTER -- Patricia A. Post, 64, of Wooster, died Sunday morning, Jan. 28, 2001, at Wooster Community Hospital, after an extended illness.
Services will be Thursday at 3 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, Wooster, with the Rev. William H. Valentine officiating with cremation to follow. Burial of the cremains will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call one hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Patricia A. Post Memorial Fund, in care of Wayne County National Bank, 3540 Burbank Road, Wooster 44691.
She was born April 30, 1936, in Canton, to Herbert C. and Blanche (Misner) Hunt and married Donald E. Post on March 7, 1981 in Wooster. He survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are a son, James C. Vore of Lima; a daughter, Marita Dee (Tracey) Mayle of Canton; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Hunt of Des Plaines, Ill. and Robert Hunt of Canton, and two sisters, Mary Alice Carter and Norma Jean (Robert) Fagen, both of Alliance.

Geraldine Weimer
WOOSTER -- Geraldine E. Weimer, 84, formerly of Nashville, passed away Friday evening, Jan. 26, 2001, at West View Manor Nursing Center, Wooster, where she had resided since August 1990.
Memorial services will be tonight (Monday) at 7 at West View Manor Nursing Center Chapel.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Nashville Presbyterian Cemetery, Nashville, with the Rev. George Johnson officiating.
There will be no calling hours.
Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, Wooster, is in charge of services.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to either West View Manor Auxiliary, 1715 Mechanicsburg Road, Wooster 44691 or Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
Mrs. Weimer was born June 9, 1916, in Millersburg, to Melvin and Hazel (Daniels) Farra. She married Walter Weimer on Jan. 13, 1941. He passed away in March 1994.

Jack Plank
CRESTON -- Jack A. Plank, 79, 282 Pine St., died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at Trinity Community Hospital in Jasper, Fla., following a sudden illness.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Creston United Methodist Church with the Rev. Donald Kuntz officiating. Burial will be at Maple Mound Cemetery where military honors will be conducted.
Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston.
Memorial contributions may be made to Creston United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1111, Creston 44217 or to Creston Emergency Squad, P.O. Box 181, Creston 44217.
He was born July 25, 1921, in Jeromesville, to Paul G. and Bessie (Owen) Plank and married Gene M. Sailors on June 7, 1947. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are six children, Paul and wife, Kathy Plank of Lakewood, Beth Plank of Wooster, Peter and wife, Deborah Plank of Cinnamon Lake, Kevin and wife, Lorinda Plank of Chesterland, Patricia and husband, Dick Glessner of Sterling and Mary Jane and husband, John Barth of Parkville, Mo.; 10 grandchildren, Matthew, Dana, Sara, Mitchell, Emily, Andrew, Melanie and Jack Plank and Rachel and Christopher Barth and a sister, Joanne Greaves of North Fort Myers, Fla.

Diana Garvin
LOUISVILLE -- Diana C. Garvin, 50, of Louisville and formerly of Wooster, passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at her home.
Private family graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Workman Cemetery, Danville.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Stier-Israel Funeral Home of Louisville.
She was born Oct. 30, 1950, in Wooster, to Hubert and Norma (Sowards) Neitzelt.
Surviving are a daughter, Jamie Rose of the home; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Chris and Teresa Neitzelt of Danville, Robert and SiHung Neitzelt of Rowsburg, and Jeff and Melody Novak of Tyler, Texas; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Deborah and Lee Frazier of West Salem, Rebecca and Larry Gunn of Dalton and Margaret and William Buehrer of Nashville and her stepmother, Marilyn Novak of Holmesville.

Diane Terhune
CRESTON -- Diane Terhune, 44, of Creston, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001, in Creston.
Services will be Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St., with Pastor Terry Holley officiating. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday from 1:30-4 and 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Medina General Hospital Pediatric Ward, 1000 E. Washington St., Medina 44256 in lieu of flowers.
Surviving are Lee Schnecke (Mel), devoted and cherished friend of Valley City and Cheryl Whittenberger, devoted and cherished friend of Chippewa Lake.

Amanda Frady
RITTMAN -- Amanda Rae Frady, infant daughter of Raymond and Hope (Arbogast) Frady, 460 Rufener Drive, died at birth Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001, at Akron City Hospital.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Rittman Cemetery, with the Rev. Cecil Farmer officiating.
There will be no calling hours. Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman is handling arrangements.
Surviving in addition to her parents, are grandparents, Robert and Penny Arbogast of Rittman and Opal Frady of Oak Hill, W.Va.

Donald Commings
DOYLESTOWN -- Donald E. Commings, 89, of Doylestown, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001, at Doylestown Health Care Center.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Doylestown is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Doylestown Health Care Activities, 95 Black Drive, Doylestown 44231.
He was born March 15, 1911, in Akron, to Athol and Ethel N. (Noust) Commings.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Commings of Doylestown; and nieces and nephews.

Albert Vielhaber Jr.
DOYLESTOWN -- Albert J. Vielhaber Jr., 83, of Doylestown, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001, at Hospice Care Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, with Father David McCarthy as celebrant. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Friends may call today (Tuesday) from 4-8 at Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Doylestown, where the rosary will be at 4.
Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Service Hospice, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron 44333; or to Sts. Peter & Paul School Endowment Fund, 161 W. Clinton St., Doylestown 44230.
He was born July 29, 1917, in St. Louis, Mo., to Albert J. and Delia (Mannion) Vielhaber Sr. and married Betty Curry on Aug. 3, 1940. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Judy (John) Joly of Bothell, Wash., Kay Vielhaber of Bellingham, Wash., Rosemary (Joe) Ewing of Granger, Ind., Bob (Joyce) Vielhaber and Tim Vielhaber, both of Avon, Mary Vielhaber of Ann Arbor, Mich., Vince (Sylvia) Vielhaber of City of Green, Dave (Vickie) Vielhaber of Clinton, Anne Vielhaber of Mentor, Pat (Joe) Thesing and Chris (Doug) Nestor, both of Doylestown and Ellen (Rob) McEndree of Marshallville; 26 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Edward (Jackie) Vielhaber of City of Green and Leo (Jeanette) Vielhaber of Findlay; and a sister, Mary Jean (Bob) Brunton of Cuyahoga Falls.

David Kosier
ASHLAND -- David Kosier, 33, of Ashland, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Armitage officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was born Jan. 11, 1968, in Wooster, to Donald and Linda Lou (Hendrix) Kosier and married Rene Nelson. She survives.
Other survivors include stepchildren, Justin, Tana and Megan Nelson; his parents of Wooster; a brother, Jody Kosier of Wooster; a sister, Michelle Kiner of Shreve; grandparents, Betty Hendrix and Gerald Kosier; and three nephews.

Harold Crouch
MOUNT VERNON -- Harold Crouch, 73, of Beech Street, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001, at Country Court Nursing Home in Mount Vernon.
He was the uncle of many nieces and nephews in the Holmes County area.
Services were held today (Tuesday) at 11 at Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. Burial was at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Harold Crouch Memorial Golf Scholarship, in care of First Knox National Bank, 1 S. Main St., Mount Vernon 43050.
He was born April 28, 1927, in Mount Vernon, to Fred and Eva (Lloyd) Crouch and was married to Jackie (Speaks) Crouch for 52 years. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Mike (Ellen) Crouch, Tim (Cindy) Crouch, Nancy (Bud) Marsell and Angie (Bobby) Crouch, all of Mount Vernon; 12 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Alvin Schlabach
MILLERSBURG -- Alvin W. "Allie" Schlabach, 72, 5385 Township Road 359, died Monday morning, Jan. 29, 2001.
Services will be Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Aden Hershberger residence, County Road 201, Millersburg, with Bishop Jacob Beachy officiating. Burial will be at the Hochstetler Cemetery.
Friends may call anytime today (Tuesday) and Wednesday at the Jerry Schlabach residence, 5481 Township Road 359, Millersburg.
Arrangements are being handled by Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg.
He was born Dec. 18, 1928, in Holmes County, to J. Wyman and Ada (Miller) Schlabach and married Ella Miller on Jan. 27, 1949. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Jerry (Mary Ann) Schlabach and Marie Schlabach, both of Millersburg and Merle (Phyllis) Schlabach of Baltic; five grandsons; sisters, Lydia (Crist) Miller of Sugarcreek and Edna (Aden) Hershberger of Millersburg; and a brother, Nelson (Joan) Schlabach of Millersburg.

Pauline Nichols
WOOSTER -- Pauline M. Nichols, 88, 6470 Chestnut Ridge Drive, died Monday morning, Jan. 29, 2001, at Glendora Health Care Center.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Greenlawn Cemetery in Akron, with the Rev. Rondal P. Hardman officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster is handling arrangements.
Those who wish may make contributions to Apple Creek United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 269 W. Main St., Apple Creek 44606.
She was born Oct. 10, 1912, in Jacksonville, W.Va., to Jacob William and Bernecia Jane (Smith) Weaver and married Arzy Nichols. He died in 1982.
Surviving is a nephew, the Rev. Rondal P. Hardman of Wooster, with whom she had made her home.
