Martha Kimbler
LODI -- Martha G. Kimbler, 85, of Lodi, died, Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002, at her home, following a lengthy period of declining health.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Lodi United Methodist Church, 320 Medina St., Lodi, with the Rev. David Howell officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lodi.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lodi Community Hospital, 225 Elyria St., Lodi 44254 or Hospice of Medina County, 797 N. Court St., Medina 44256 or Lodi United Methodist Church, 320 Medina St., Lodi.
She was born April 26, 1917, in Lodi, to John H. and Edna (Scott) Grimm and married Logan Kimbler. He died previously.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, James and Joyce Kimbler of Seville; three grandchildren; a sister, Marian Rucker of Wadsworth; four brothers, Don Grimm of Medina, Edwin "Pete" (Mary Ruth) Grimm of Wooster, Harold "Vic" (Donna) Grimm of Lodi and Roderick (Joyce) Grimm of Medina and many nieces and nephews.

Thomas Lemon
HOLMESVILLE -- Thomas Junior Lemon, 74, 8483 Township Road 565, died Monday, Sept. 16, 2002, at his home, following a sudden illness.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg with the Rev. Brian Powell officiating. Burial will be at Prairie Township Cemetery where military honors will be conducted.
Memorial contributions may be made to Prairie Township Friends of the Library, in care of Jan Lemon, 8186 County Road 189, Holmesville 44633.
He was born Feb. 21, 1928, in Holmes County, to Thomas Bird and Grace Leota (Bellman) Lemon and married Bonnie L. Daugherty on Dec. 20, 1959. She died June 23, 1991.
Surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Dale and Jan Lemon of Holmesville, Gary Lemon of the home and Greg "Fuzz" and Heidi Lemon of Holmesville; three grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Jim Shriver of Wooster and brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Harriet Lemon of Holmesville, Frank and Helena Lemon of Millersburg, Martin and DeeAnn Lemon and Marvin "Bud" and Marie Lemon, all of Holmesville.

Lewis Mohn
SEMINOLE, Fla. -- Lewis W. "Papa" Mohn, 80, of Seminole, Fla. and formerly of St. Petersburg, Largo and Maderia Beach, Fla. and Wooster, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Fla.
Services will be Friday, Sept. 20, 2002, at 10 a.m. at the Lewis Mohn Funeral Home, 9700 Seminole Blvd., Seminole, Fla., with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Friends will be received on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital, 12502 N. Pine Drive, Tampa, Fla. 33612-9499.
He was born on Oct. 14, 1921, in Wooster, to Louis Warner and Gladys (Beeler) Mohn. He married Martha "Polly" Hoover in April 1949 and she survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Victoria Mohn Block of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Robert Snively
LAS VEGAS -- Robert L. Snively, 55, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, in Las Vegas, where he had resided since 1991.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at Zion Lutheran Church, 301 N. Market St., Wooster, with the Rev. Alan Nathan officiating.
He was born in 1947, in Belmont County, to Hiram and Naomi (Sleasman) Snively and married Connie Rondy in 1967.
He is survived by his wife Connie (Rondy) Snively; daughter, Kim Stryker of Granville; a grandson; a brother, Elmer Snively of Congress and sisters, Lila Ruschak of Alledonia, Verna Crooks of Barnsville and Nada Keylor of Woodsfield.

Khamting Bannavong
DALTON -- Khamting Bannavong, 62, 13566 Jericho Road, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at the Cleveland Clinic, following a six-month illness.
Buddhist funeral services will be held at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville on Wednesday at noon. Cremation will take place immediately following the services.
Friends may call tonight (Tuesday) from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was born Oct. 11, 1939, in Vientane, Laos, to Xiengkone and Phoummy Bannavong and married Kiang Phaphouvaninh on Feb. 11, 1964 in Laos. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are daughters, Maniseng (Frank) Yokiel of Orlando, Fla., Manilath (Sengdao) Luangraj of Manassas, Va., Amni Bannavong of Turin, Italy; sons, Phoumaleth (Bounneo) Bannavong of Kidron, Phoupeth (Cindy) Bannavong of Apple Creek and Phoumano Bannavong of Kidron and nine grandchildren.

George Glasener
ASHLAND -- George W. "Bill" Glasener, 85, of Ashland, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at Crystal Care Center in Ashland.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Vermillion Cemetery in Hayesville with Pastor Robert Pflueger officiating. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ashland with Pastor Robert Pflueger officiating.
Friends may call tonight (Tuesday) from 5-8 p.m. at Van Hove Funeral Home in Ashland.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1605 County Road 1095, Ashland 44805 or to Crystal Care Center, 1251 E. Main St., Ashland 44805.
He was born April 12, 1917, in Vermillion Township, Ashland County, the son of Homer L. and Marion L. (Ogden) Glasener.
Surviving are his wife, Nellie McGuire Glasener, whom he married Dec. 19, 1945; a daughter, Nancy E. McMillen of Wooster; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Debbie Glasener of Fresno, Calif. and Dean and Sandy Glasener of Dalton, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert O. and Janet Glasener of Mansfield and a sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Carl Strine of Ashland.

Jacob Miller Jr.
FREDERICKSBURG -- Jacob Miller Jr., 61, of Fredericksburg, died Monday, Sept. 16, 2002, in the Emergency Room of Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg, from injuries sustained in a fall at his home.
Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the East Union Mennonite Church near Orrville with Pastors Leonard Wenger and Delmar Falb officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. at the church or one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Arrangements are being handled by Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the East Union Mennonite Church, 10678 E. Old Lincoln Way, Orrville 44667.
He was born Feb. 10, 1941, near Millersburg, to Jacob M. and Nancy (Hershberger) Miller and he married Dena Swartzentruber on April 5, 1962. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are 11 children, Edward (Betty) Miller of Apple Creek, Marvin (Lisa) Miller of Spring Branch, Texas, Lorin (Ann) Miller of Orrville, Marlene (Mark) Brink of Massillon, Nolan Miller of Fredericksburg, Nila (Karl) Miller of Millersburg, Lois (Rick) Geiser of Ashland, Joseph (Kim) Miller of Millersburg, Nathan Miller of Fredericksburg, James (Deanna) Miller of Millersburg, and Renita (Chad) Spurlock of Orrville; 13 grandchildren; three sisters, Martha (Dan) Stutzman, Katie (Simon) Wengerd and Betty Miller, all of Fredericksburg; four brothers, Atlee (Fannie) Miller of Dalton, Mose (Katie) Miller of Fredericksburg, Roy (Elmina) Miller of Millersburg and Robert Miller of Millersburg.

Harry Weaver
FRESNO -- Harry J. Weaver, 90, 33170 Township Road 235, died Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002, at his residence.
Services will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the residence with Bishop Henry M. Troyer officiating. Burial will be at Yoder Cemetery, Crawford Township.
Friends may call anytime at the residence.
He was born Nov. 23, 1911, in Holmes County, to John W. and Katie (Miller) Weaver and married Emma Mast on Dec. 17, 1942. She died July 8, 1998.
Surviving are a son, Alvin H. (Katie) Weaver of the home; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a sister, Anna Miller of Bunker Hill area.

Connie Mohler
WOOSTER -- Connie L. Mohler, 64, 6614 Millersburg Road, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2002, at the residence of her son in Wooster.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with the Rev. Bob Stull officiating. Entombment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
Other survivors include sons, Jack S. (Penny) Mohler of Wooster and E. Wayne (Donna) Mohler of Columbia Station; three grandchildren; a brother and two sisters.
Her parents and a sister died previously.

Carl Jenkin
LODI -- Carl B. Jenkin, 82, of Lodi, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002, at his home.
Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi, with the Rev. David Howell officiating. Burial will be at Acacia Park Cemetery in Mayfield Heights.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Medina County, 797 N. Court St., Medina 44276.
He was born Sept. 26, 1919, in Garfield Heights, to William George and Mary Ann (Bate) Jenkin.
Surviving are three sons, Fred (Erlene Jo) Jenkin of Mentor, Roland (Thelma) Jenkin of Lodi and Gary (Donna) Jenkin of Sandusky; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a sister, Gwendoline Gliha of Olmsted Township.
His wife, Doris, died previously.

Kenneth Mullett
SARASOTA, Fla. -- Kenneth W. Mullett, 41, of Sarasota, Fla., died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002.
Memorial service will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Bay Shore Mennonite Church in Sarasota, Fla. Burial will be at Palms Memorial Park.
Gathering will be Sunday from 6-9 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home in Sarasota, Fla.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Florida, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Fla. 34238.
He was born Sept. 26, 1960, in Canton.
Surviving are his wife of 17 years, Kim L. Mullett of Sarasota, Fla.; his parents, Carolyn and Emanuel Mullett of Hartville; three sisters, Joy Nussbaum of Apple Creek, Regina Barkema of Sarasota, Fla. and Kelli Paulson of Hartville and a brother, Sheldon Mullett of Fort Myers, Fla.

Yost Weaver
PLAIN CITY -- Yost A. Weaver, 62, of Plain City, died Friday morning, Sept. 13, 2002, at his home, following an extended illness.
Services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton with Dr. Larry Emery officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery, Winesburg.
Friends may call Sunday from 1:30-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was born Oct. 31, 1939, near Wilmot, to Atlee J. and Susan (Yoder) Weaver.
Surviving are a brother, Paul (Lee) Weaver of Wilmot; a sister, Anna Beachy of Wilmot and several nieces and nephews.

James Wolcott
AKRON -- James L. Wolcott, 68, 8141 Anderson Ave., NE, Howland, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002, after a brief but valiant battle with cancer.
He was born in Warren on Oct. 12, 1933, the son of Harry and Ella (Waring) Wolcott. He married Edwina "Eddie" Credico on Aug. 29, 1954.
He is survived by his mother, Ella; loving wife of 48 years, Eddie; daughter and son-in-law, Lynette and Terry Pirman of Orrville; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Michelle Wolcott of Champion; son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Flo Wolcott of Howland; eight grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Jilaine and Larry Fewell of Bexley, brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Lynda Wolcott of Daphne, Ala. and nieces, and nephews.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, and one hour prior to the 1 p.m. Monday service at Robert H. Roberts-Clark Memorial Home, 180 Garfield Drive, Warren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests tributes be made to the Jim Wolcott Memorial Fund, in care of Bank One, Howland, which will be used to aid future Howland High School graduating athletes.

Patricia Cowley-Rickel
BURBANK -- Patricia E. Cowley-Rickel, 63, of Burbank, died Wednesday evening, Sept. 11, 2002 at University Hospital in Cleveland, following a brief illness.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Reaume Funeral Home in Tilbury, Ontario, Canada, with the Rev. Les Harding officiating. Burial will be at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Tilbury, Ontario, Canada.
Friends may call today (Friday) from 2-4 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston.
Memorial contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association or to American Heart Association, Ohio Valley Affiliate, P.O. Box 182039 Dept. 013, Columbus 43218-2039.
She was born May 8, 1939, in Canada to Floyd and Margaret (Boyer) Flanagan and married Jay Cowley, who died in 1991. She married Aaron Rickel on Oct. 23, 1994. He survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and James Hunt of Port Charlotte, Fla.; stepchildren, Terry Rickel of Burbank and Cindy and Roger Messmore of West Salem; a granddaughter; two step-grandchildren; a step-great-granddaughter and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Dorothy Flanagan, Manitoba, Canada, Brian and June Flanagan and Kevin Flanagan, all of Brampton, Ontario, Canada.

John Mowrer
ORRVILLE -- John E. "Ernie" Mowrer, 78, 1399 Spring Hill Drive, and formerly a 50-year resident of Apple Creek, died Thursday morning, Sept. 12, 2002, at Brenn-Field Nursing Center in Orrville, where he has resided for the last six years.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Orrville with Father Ronald J. Turek officiating. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Wooster where military rites will be held.
Friends may call on tonight (Friday) from 7-9 or Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville. Online registry and expressions of condolence may be made at the funeral home's web site at www.aublefuneralhome.com.

John was born on Aug. 16, 1924, in Wooster to Walter and Ruth (McClarran) Mowrer and married L. "Jane" Geier on May 16, 1946, in Wooster. She survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, John D. "Buz" (Cheryl) Mowrer of Poca, W.Va., and Fred (Betty) Mowrer of Fredericksburg; a daughter, Sally (Dean) Perry of Orrville; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Lloyd Mowrer of Cleveland, Lowell and Bill Mowrer of Wooster and Kenny (Amy) Mowrer of South Dakota; a sister, Erma (Wilbur) Hahn of Smithville, and nieces and nephews.
