Catherine Campbell
LODI -- Catherine H. Campbell, 91, of Lodi and formerly of Poe Road, Medina, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, at her home, following a period of declining health.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Poe Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to Tri-County Hospice, 102 Main St., Suite 304, Wadsworth 44281.
Arrangements are being handled by Murray Funeral Home in Creston.
She was born Feb. 1, 1910, in Cleveland to Royal and Gertrude (Herman) Zipf. She had been married to Virgil Campbell for 62 years. He died April 9, 1997.
There are no immediate survivors.

Margaret Cunningham
WOOSTER -- Margaret L. Cunningham, 64, 1684 Mechanicsburg Road, Lot 106, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002, at her home.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home with Winona McFadden officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wayne County, 2525-A Back Orrville Road, Wooster 44691.
She was born Oct. 4, 1937, in Wayne County, to John H. and M. Irene (Talley) Rutt.
Surviving are her husband, Philip B., whom she married in 1959; children, Philip B. (Shelly) Cunningham, Rebecca L. Cunningham, M. Beth Cunningham and Alberta I. Cunningham, all of Wooster and Mark E. (Becky) Cunningham of Shreve; six grandchildren; a brother, John Rutt of Crestline and a sister, Faye Ickes of Wooster.

Hannah Hatfield
SMITHVILLE -- Hannah Ellen Hatfield, daughter of Kennie Dean and Jennifer Joanne (Edwards) Hatfield, 4356 Fulton Road, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002, shortly after birth at Akron General Medical Center.
Private family services will be held.
Arrangements are being handled by McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster.
Surviving in addition to her parents are a sister, Machenna of the home; paternal grandparents, Kennie E. and Margie Ellen Hatfield of West Palm Beach, Fla.; maternal grandparents, Jim and Bonnie Edwards of Wooster; paternal great-grandparents, Charlie and Maxine Smith of Sandyville, W.Va. and maternal great-grandmother, Eleanor Beckler of Wooster.

Cecelia Scheetz
RITTMAN -- Cecelia M. Scheetz, 85, of Rittman, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, at Magnolia Care Center.
Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. James R. McComas will officiate with burial in Rittman Cemetery.
She was born May 17, 1915, in Jeanette, Pa., to Van and Mary (Walker) Kuntz and married Russell D. Scheetz. He died in 1985.
Surviving are a sister-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.

Paul Mattern
LEIPSIC -- Paul Eugene Mattern, 79, of Leipsic, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002, at SCCI Hospital Lima in Lima, after a courageous three-month battle with heart problems.
Memorial services will be Saturday, Jan. 19, at 11 a.m. at First Christian Church in Leipsic, with the Rev. Tim Eding officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Heitmeyer Funeral Home, 10 W. Main St., Leipsic.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Christian Church in Leipsic; or to the Open Heart Unit at Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 17, 1922, in East Sparta to the Rev. Asa and Mary (Miller) Mattern and married Agnes Merillat on April 27, 1946. She survives and lives in Leipsic.
Other survivors include children, Ronald (Linda) Mattern of Greenville, S.C., James (Diana) Mattern of Leipsic, Charles Mattern of Cedar Edge, Colo., and Patsy (Doug) Spring of Lima; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, the Rev. Robert (Rulea) Mattern of Cadillac, Mich., and Charles (Margaret) Mattern of Leipsic; and a sister, Ruthada (the Rev. Herbert) Johnson of Kokomo, Ind.

Elden Weckesser
FAIRVIEW, Pa. -- Elden C. Weckesser, MD, 91, born in Marshallville, Pa., a resident of Fairview, Pa., formerly of Cleveland, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002.
Beloved husband of the late Kathryn T. (Tuttle) Weckesser; dear father of Jane W. Tuteur of Chicago, Ill., Elizabeth W. (Betsy) Leshner of Richmond, Va., Nancy W. Andersen of Atlanta, Ga., and Mary W. (Stephen) Oas of Erie Pa.; grandfather of eight; great-grandfather of two; and brother of nine, all deceased.
The family prefers that those who wish may make contributions in his name to The Elden C. and Kathryn T. Weckesser Endowment Fund, of CWRU School of Medicine, 10900 Euclid Ave., Cleveland 44106-4923.
Services will be Thursday, Jan. 17, at 11 a.m. at Brown-Forward Funeral Home, 17022 Chagrin Blvd., Shaker Heights, where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in Marshallville, Pa.

Kathryn Deffenbaugh
WOOSTER -- Kathryn M. Deffenbaugh, 88, of Wooster, died Monday evening, Jan. 14, 2002, at West View Manor Nursing Home, Wooster, where she had made her home since Jan. 20, 2000.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wooster. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call Friday from 9-9:30 a.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, Wooster.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Wayne County, 2554 Graustark Path, Wooster 44691; or American Diabetes Association, 1815 W. Market St., Suite 108, Akron 44313.
She was born Jan. 30, 1913, in Wooster to George and Edna (Zerrer) Bollinger and married George E. Deffenbaugh. He died in 1983.
Surviving are a son, Richard A. (Emily) Deffenbaugh of Wooster; and grandchildren, Christopher Deffenbaugh, Elizabeth (Scott) Logsdon and Anne Marie Deffenbaugh.

Su Un Kim
WOOSTER -- Su Un Kim, 90, of Wooster, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 15, 2002, at West View Manor Nursing Home, Wooster, where she was a resident since March 2000.
Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, Wooster, with the Rev. Henry H. Park officiating. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services.
She was born April 27, 1911, in Hong Chun, South Korea, to Chun II and Si (Shang) Chang and married Bock Dong Kim. He died in 1943.
Surviving are children, Pong Hui (Myong Cha) Kim of Wooster and Jennifer (Edward) Pyun of Akron; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

William Sturm
WOOSTER -- William C. Sturm, 78, 326 Stevens Ave., died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, at Smithville-Western Care Center, Wooster.
Services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, with the Rev. William Hudson officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Those who wish may make contributions to Leukemia Society of America, 20525 Center Ridge Road, 630, Cleveland 44116; or to Presbyterian Church of Cadiz, Cadiz 43907.
He was born June 10, 1923, in Frostburg, Md., and was the son of William Lee Sturm. He was raised by his grandparents, Truman and Rodabelle Sturm and married Mary Camp on Nov. 3, 1941. She survives.
Other survivors include children, William L. (Susie) Sturm and Donna (William) Beam, both of Wooster; grandchildren, Richard B. (Deidre) Beam, Jeff (Tisha) Sturm and Penny Sturm; great-grandchildren, Nathanel and McKenzie Beam and Shelby and Jennah Sturm; and sisters, Wilma Berger of Akron and Ruby Casteel of New Philadelphia.

Ruth Malcuit
WOOSTER -- Ruth Irene Malcuit, 93, formerly of Little John Lane, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Dalton.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, with the Rev. Dr. James Christensen officiating. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery in Mount Eaton.
Friends may call Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was born Oct. 19, 1908, in Mount Eaton, to Harvey and Nora (Messner) Blosser and married Ades Malcuit on Dec. 16, 1939. He died April 20, 1969.
There are no immediate survivors.
In addition to her husband, a twin brother, Roy W. Blosser, died in 1982.

Mae Chance
ORRVILLE -- Mae Chance, 93, formerly of 425 OrrVilla Drive, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 15, 2002, following a period of declining health.
Services will be Thursday at noon at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville, with the Rev. Dan Hostetler officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wadsworth.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services.
Memorial contributions may be made to Petrolina North East Project, in care of Neva Massie, 425 OrrVilla Drive, Apt. 15, Orrville 44667.
She was born Aug. 19, 1908, in Wayne Township, to Alfred and Matilda (Beck) Chance and married Roy Garver on Aug. 20, 1926. He died Nov. 25, 1971.
Surviving are daughters, Ellen Haueter of Jacksonville, Fla., Neva J. Massie and Wilma L. (Donald) Holderman, both of Orrville; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

Roswell Miller
LOUDONVILLE -- Roswell H. "Jack" Miller, 88, of South Mount Vernon Avenue, formerly of the Nashville and Lakeville area, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 15, 2002, at Colonial Manor Health Care Center.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville, with the Rev. Gary Pollock officiating. Burial will be at Nashville Presbyterian Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Loudonville Fire Department Inc., 200 N. Market St., Loudonville 44842; or to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1605 County Road 1095, Ashland 44805.
He was born Jan. 30, 1913, near Lakeville, to Harry and Grace Adelaide (Sayer) Miller and married Thelma Newland on Oct. 15, 1941. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Kenneth (Mary) Miller of Nashville, Robert Miller of Millersburg, Grace (Richard A.) Mutchler of Loudonville and Marjorie (Eugene) Grossenbacher of Holmesville; 11 grandchildren; a step-grandchild; 13 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Tipton of Millersburg and Harriet Mutchler of Ashland; and a stepsister, Bea Markley of Shreve.

Wallace Yoho
WOOSTER -- Wallace D. Yoho, 69, of Wooster, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2002, at his residence after a period of declining health.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 4767 Higbee Ave., NW, Canton 44718-2551.
He was born Nov. 22, 1932, in Mineral Wells, W.Va., to William Kenneth and Judy Loreen (Barker) Yoho and married Glenda Luke on Dec. 23, 1955. They had been married for 46 years and she survives.
Other survivors include children, Mary (Roger) Canode and James (Susan) Yoho, both of Wooster, Wallace D. (Grace) Yoho of Glenmont and William J. (Tonya) Yoho of Orrville; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Vada L. Smith and Lena G. Williams, both of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; a brother, William R. Yoho of Little Hocking; and his stepmother, Edith Yoho of Mineral Wells, W.Va.

Robert Tennent
ORRVILLE -- Robert B. "Red" Tennent, 76, a resident of Brenn-Field Nursing Center, formerly of Tampa, Fla. and Wooster, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2002.
Services with military rites will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery near Rittman, with Pastor Ken Thomas officiating.
There will be no calling hours. Auble Funeral Home in Orrville is handling arrangements.
He was born July 13, 1925, in Wooster, to Brice and Agnes (Harrold) Tennent.
Surviving are children, Lynne (Steve) Young of Berlin Heights, R. Alan (Barb) Tennent of Jeromesville and Mark (Mary) Tennent of Dalton; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Gay) Tennent of Picayune, Miss.; and a niece.

Charles Korchmaros
APPLE CREEK -- Charles Korchmaros, 52, 2532 S. Apple Creek Road, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2002, at Wooster Community Hospital.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, Wooster, with Pastor Demetrios Mittas officiating. Burial will be at West Lawn Cemetery in Canton.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services.
He was born March 28, 1949, in Canton to Andrew and Marie (Daniels) Korchmaros.
Surviving are brothers, Joseph, Andrew and Michael Korchmaros and a sister, Rose Rodiquez, all of Arizona.

Donna Specht
LAFAYETTE, Colo. -- Donna Moreland Specht, 86, of Lafayette, Colo., formerly of Wooster, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002, at Boulder Colorado Hospital.
Private burial will be Thursday in Evergreen Cemetery, Broomfield, Colo.
She was born April 27, 1915, in Dayton to Frank and Ethel Parrish and married Paul Moreland on Nov. 26, 1936. He died in August 1954. On Dec. 3, 1977, she married Miles Specht. He died previously.
Surviving are a daughter, Shirley Faye Ford of Broomfield, Colo.; and two grandchildren.
