Bessie Moore
ORRVILLE -- Bessie Neuhart Moore, 96, of Orrville, and formerly of Belmont, died Thursday, March 20, 2003, at the home of her daughter, Gloria Simpson in Orrville.
Services will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 322 N. Main St., Bethesda with Pastor Robert Merritt officiating. Burial will be at Belmont Cemetery.
Friends may call Saturday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was born July 18, 1906 in Belmont to William and Cornelia (Ramsey) Neuhart.
She operated a restaurant in Guernsey County and had also worked at the Belmont Cigar Factory, where she rolled cigars by hand.
She was a member of the Belmont Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking and sewing and her family.
Surviving are two sons, Jack (Mariann) Moore of Cadiz and Jim (Caroline) Moore of Galloway; nine daughters, Mrs. Harry (Edith) Taylor of Cadiz, Gladys Fogle of Bethesda, Sarah Harbin of Cambridge, Mrs. Bill (Helen) Schmelzenbech of McConnelsville, Mrs. Ron (Connie) Enzweiler of Sardinia, Eileen Friede of St. Clairsville, Mrs. Sam (Maxine) Segarra of Camp Hill, Pa., Susie Monosky of Powell and Gloria Simpson of Orrville; 48 grandchildren; 85 great-grandchildren; 30 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, W. L. Moore died in 1966, a grandson, sisters, Marie Neuhart and Lela VanHorn and brothers, Roy, Louis, Alonzo and Emmett Neuhart, also died previously.

Frank Ohm
DALTON -- Frank W. Ohm, 53, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday morning, March 20, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center.
Funeral service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Dalton Baptist Church with Pastor David Greegor officiating. Burial will be at Newmans Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday from 6-9 p.m. at Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Dalton and on Saturday at the church from noon until the time of service.
Memorials may be made to Dalton Baptist Church, 400 Lincolnview Drive, Dalton, 44618.
Frank W. Ohm was born July 8, 1949, in Akron to Frank L. and Florence (Ahlquist) Ohm. He married Elaine Smith on Jan. 30, 1971.
He was a resident of Dalton, formerly of East Greenville.
He was the owner/operator of F&B Refrigeration and a member of Dalton Baptist Church. He enjoyed his work and family.
He is survived by wife, Elaine; son, Brian W. (Lisa) Ohm of Massillon; daughters, Laurel S. Fraser of North Lawrence, Heather E. Ohm of Massillon; seven grandchildren, Brian, Tyler, Dylan, Hailey and Hunter Ohm, Cody and Kaleb Fraser; sister, Sandy Ohm of Tucson, Ariz. and brother-in-law, Paul Witkofsky of Gillette, Wyo.
He was preceded in death by parents, sisters, Laurel Ohm and Lynn Witkofsky and a brother, Daniel Ohm.

Joseph Polize
WADSWORTH -- Joseph Polize, 89, died Thursday, March 20, 2003, at Altercare of Wadsworth, after a brief illness.
Mr. Polize was born in Palermo, Italy and resided in Wadsworth for 54 years.
He was a special messenger with the U.S. Army 277th Field Artillery in World War II.
He was employed in the maintenance department of PCA in Rittman, retiring in 1978 with 43 years of service.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1089, Wadsworth Blue Tip CB Club and enjoyed camping.
Mr. Polize was the husband of the late Yolanda and is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Peggy of Doylestown; grandchildren, Shannon, Jody, Ann Marie, Travis, Troy, Lisa and Brian; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Vida (Bill) Tasker of Rittman and a dear friend, Martha Young of Canton.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Hilliard & Mullaney Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, where a prayer service will be held at 2:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be Monday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph L. Labak officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, where Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1089 and American Legion Post 170 will conduct military services.

Debbie Raubenolt
WESTERVILLE -- Debbie B. Raubenolt, 46, of Westerville, died Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at St. Ann's Hospital.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mark A.; loving companion and best friend, Ripley; her mother, Donna Bresson of Wooster; brothers, Dan Bresson of Westerville, Dave Bresson and Denny (Bobbi) Bresson, both of Wooster; a sister, Diane (Kim) Utt of Wooster; nieces and nephews, Alyssa Shaw, Brian Bresson, Hesper Utt, Cody Utt, Zach Utt and Kye Bresson and great-niece, Dyna Bresson.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Bresson.
Debbie was a 1974 graduate of Wooster High School. She was previously employed by Frito Lay and Roadway Express. For the past seven years Debbie enjoyed self-employment in the antiques business with her husband, Mark. Debbie and Mark were married in 1988. They enjoyed the best possible friendship, partnership and marriage anyone could possibly imagine. It saddens us deeply of our loss, but we are confident she is in a much better place. God bless her. To get a full value of joy, you must have someone to divide it with, thank you Debbie.
Friends may call at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1479 Morse Road, Columbus, with Pastor Ronald Huff officiating. There will be private interment.

Ruth Rinehart
WARSAW -- Ruth Leone Rinehart, 73, 30176 County Road 343, died Thursday, March 20, 2003, at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 23, 2003, at 1:30 p.m. at Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with the Rev. David Dodridge officiating. Burial will be at Blissfield Cemetery.
Visitation is Saturday, March 22, 2003, from 1-3 p.m. and until service time on Sunday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Clark Township Baptist Church, in care of Ruth Mullett, 30434 Township Road 25, Warsaw 43844.
She was born Jan. 21, 1929, in Coshocton County to the late Ralph and Leone (Wilden) Turner.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Killbuck Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 7079 Ladies Auxiliary and attended Clark Township Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen (Junior) Fraelich of Blissfield; a granddaughter, Sherry (Joe) Harding of Concord, Va.; two sisters, Ada Nelson of Coshocton and Carol (Don) Fischer of Washington Court House.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Rinehart, whom she married Jan. 24, 1948. He died March 19, 2001. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Lavinia Carter.

Margaret Rose
BIG PRAIRIE -- Margaret "Maggie" Rose, 72, of Big Prairie, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003, at Sunset View Nursing Home in Millersburg.
Services will be Monday, March 24, 2003, at 11 a.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, with the Rev. William H. Valentine officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
Friends will be received Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, Wooster.
She was born Feb. 2, 1931, in Central City, Ky.
She worked as a nurses aide in private homes.
Surviving are her husband, Richard Rose; sons, Larry and Louis, both of Wooster, Robbie of South Carolina, Jeff and James, both of Big Prairie; a daughter, Debbie Rose of San Antonio, Texas; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Reva Fox and Sue Collett and brother, Edward, all of Wooster and sister, Nona Boals of Loudonville.
Preceding her in death were her parents, and a son, Michael Rose in 1992.

Rena Marentette
FAIRLAWN -- Rena Marie Marentette, formerly of Wooster, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003, at The Village at St. Edward in Fairlawn.
Services will be today (Saturday) at 11 a.m. in the chapel at The Village at St. Edward in Fairlawn. Inurnment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster.
Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel is handling arrangements.
Rena was born November 4, 1915 in Tilbury, Ontario, Canada to Noah LaBute and Delia (Trottier) LaBute. She married Edward F. Marentette on July 20, 1943 in Tecumseh, Ontario.
She grew up in Windsor, Ontario and raised her family in Montreal, Quebec before moving to Ohio in 1968.
She was very active in her community, church, and the school her children attended while they were growing up. In her later years, she enjoyed golf and working in her garden.
Surviving children include Joyce Melbourne of Kitchener, Ontario, Guy Marentette of Cuyahoga Falls, Gail (Don) Frangos of Richfield and Paula Marentette of North Royalton. She is also survived by grandchildren, Joan Cottrill of Cuyahoga Falls, Brian Frangos of Cuyahoga Falls, Jennifer Frangos of Richfield and Gregory Frangos of Lewis Center; five great-grandchildren and a niece, Frances Galloway of Leamington, Ontario.
Her husband, a brother and a sister, died previously.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Village of St. Edward, 3131 Smith Road, Fairlawn 44313.

Robert Meihls
WESTERVILLE -- Robert G. "Bob" Meihls, 74, 6443 Upper Lake Circle, died Thursday morning, March 20, 2003, at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, following a sudden illness.
Memorial services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Auble Funeral Home in Orrville with the Rev. Dennis Rinehart officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville.
There will be no calling hours.
Memorials may be made to the Orrville High School Athletic Department, Attn: Treasurer, 815 North Ella Street, Orrville 44667 or Baldwin Wallace College, Developmental Office, 275 Eastland Road, Berea 44017-2088.
He was born on Sept. 8, 1928 in Orrville to Donald "Spud" and Lilian (Gehring) Meihls and married Diane Miller on Dec. 31, 1976 in Brunswick. She survives.
He graduated from Orrville High School in 1946, served in the U.S. Army during World War II and graduated from Baldwin Wallace College in Berea.
He worked as a sales manager for the former Cofsco in Wooster, now known as Beldon and Blake of Canton.
He was a member of the Church of the Messiah in Westerville, and was a Mason with membership in the Ebenezer Lodge in Wooster, the Cedar Lodge in Orrville, the Wooster Shrine, the Al Koran in Cleveland, and the Scottish Rite in Canton.
He was inducted into the Orrville High School Sports Hall of Fame in 1995 and was an avid sports fan.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Diane, are three sons, Michael (Lezlie) Meihls of Cleveland, Timothy (Patty) Meihls of Chicago and Daniel (Cheryl) Meihls of Cleveland, four daughters, Alison (Greg) DeAnna of Cleveland, Karen (Gus) Kriaris of Cleveland, Sherri (Todd) Fisher of Columbus and Donna (Gregg) Boll of Westerville, and 14 grandchildren.

Lester Schlabach
APPLE CREEK -- Lester V. Schlabach, 84, 11553 Harrison Road, died Thursday evening, March 20, 2003, at his home.
Services will be Sunday at 9 a.m. at the family residence with Bishop Jacob J. Shetler officiating. Burial will be in the Hershberger Cemetery in Paint Township, Wayne County.
Friends may call anytime at the family home.
Arrangements are being handled by Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton.
He was born May 10, 1918 in Hartville to Valentine C. and Rebecca (King) Schlabach and married Sylvia V. Yoder on Jan. 10, 1943. She survives.
He had lived most of his life in this area and was a retired farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife are 12 children, Mary (Simon) Lee of Centerville, Pa., Rebecca (Enos) Miller of Apple Creek, Paul (Amanda) Schlabach of Fredericksburg, Nelson Schlabach of Shreve, Emma (Levi) Hostetler, Ella (Atlee) Hershberger, and Jonas (Fannie) Schlabach, all of Apple Creek, John Schlabach and Fannie (William) Hostetler, both of the home, Nancy (Irvin) Hilty of Apple Creek, Andy (Laura) Schlabach of New Concord, and Lydia (Melvin) Yoder of Greenville, Pa.; 98 grandchildren, 127 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren; two brothers, Crist Schlabach and Nelson Schlabach, both of Hartville; four sisters, Alta Beachy of Pennsylvania, Emma Miller of Minerva, Lydiann Miller of Pennsylvania, and Mabel Weaver of Hartville.
An infant daughter, Betty, a sister, four grandsons and two granddaughters, died previously.

Geneva Bachman
ORRVILLE -- Geneva P. Bachman, 90, 116 Hall St., died Friday, March 21, 2003, at Brenn-Field Nursing Center in Orrville, following a brief stay.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Orrville Christ United Church of Christ with the Rev. Randy Gehres officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday from 7-9 p.m. at Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville and at the church one hour prior to service on Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Church of Christ, 301 N. Main St., Orrville 44667.
She was born June 17, 1912, in Orrville to Frank and Grace (Straits) Allen and married Howard E. Bachman on June 24, 1951. He died April 29, 1989.
She was a lifelong resident of Orrville and was employed at Perlistein's Department Store and at the Cottage Creamery Co. in Orrville before her marriage.
She was an active member of the Orrville Christ United Church of Christ, where she was a former deaconess and she served with Women's Fellowship. She was a former member of the Rebekah Lodge of Orrville and she served on the Board of Elections.
Surviving are a son, David Bachman of Orrville; two daughters, Ruth (Thomas) Smith of Easton, Pa. and Sharon (Donald) Wolf of Orrville; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two brothers, Myron Allen of Lakewood and Franklin Allen of Akron.
In addition to her husband, a daughter, Shirley Hall and a brother, Roy Allen, died previously.

Mark Cook
DOYLESTOWN -- Mark R. Cook, 52, died Friday, March 21, 2003.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father David McCarthy celebrant.
Friends may call Monday from 5-8 p.m. at Zak-Monbarren Funeral Home in Doylestown. Scripture service will be Monday at 5 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Akron Blind Center & Workshop; 325 E. Market St., Akron, 44304.
He was born Feb. 25, 1951, in Akron to Leo and Gladys (Wolff) Cook and married Mary Beth Reiheld on May 27, 1972. She survives.
He was employed with Allied-Baltic and was formerly employed by Mid-West Rubber of Barberton.
He was a resident of Doylestown and member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
He was also a member of the Doylestown Lions Club and was past president of St. Augustine's Holy Name Society. He enjoyed gardening, his family and grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Jennifer (Charles) Kaufman of Norton, David (Christina) Cook of Barberton, Jeffrey Cook of Doylestown, Kathryn Cook of Doylestown; two grandchildren; his father, Leo Cook of Doylestown; a brother, Tom Cook of Doylestown; sisters, Ellen (Bob) Leidy and Sue (Glen) Fiscus, both of Barberton and numerous nieces and nephews.
His mother, Gladys Cook, died previously.
