Carmon L. 'Bus' Keeton
Services for Carmon L. "Bus" Keeton, 86, Ardmore, will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the Harvey-Douglas Chapel with the Rev. Charles Bigger officiating. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Born Jan. 19, 1912, in Legate, to Guy and Pearl Bishop Keeton, he died Nov. 24, 1998, in an Oklahoma City hospital.
Mr. Keeton lived most of his life in Ardmore. He worked for the Stanolind Pipeline Company before joining the U.S. Navy in 1942. He received an honorary discharge Sept. 26, 1945, and returned to Ardmore in March 1946 to open an Army surplus store. He was a member of the DAV, VFW and the American Legion.
He married Hazel Rabb Lovelis May 30, 1959. She preceded him in death Feb. 24, 1974.
Survivors include a brother, Arthur Keeton, Ardmore; two sisters, Jewel Davis, Ardmore, and Pernie Wolfe, Albion, Ill. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Spillman and Wanda Suggs, and a brother, Orbin Keeton.
Bearers will be Rockney Keeton, Royce Wolfe, Roy Coughtan, Randy Keeton, James Keeton and Gene Cypert.

Clifford L. Burnett
MARIETTA -- Services for Clifford L. Burnett will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kennedy Funeral Home with the Rev. Troy Capps officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery
Mr. Burnett was born May 20, 1926, at Pike, Oklahoma to Claud and Pearl Harper Burnett. He died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998, at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City. Burnett had lived in Wilson since 1975. He married the former Joanna Hodges. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a cattle rancher and a member of Enos Baptist Church. Mr. Burnett is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William E. 'Buster' Burnett.
Survivors include: his wife, of the home; mother of his children, Jeanette Burnett, Kingston; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dean and Kathy Burnett, Kingston, Paul and Jan Burnett, Las Vegas; one daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Ron Beach, Marietta; one sister, Fonnie Walker, Wilson; six grandchildren, Robbie Burnett, Chris Beach, Brandi Hartman, Wesley Burnett, James Burnett, Gary Burnett; one great-grandchild Tyler Beach.
Bearers will be Chris Beach, Wesley Burnett, Brandi Hartman, Gary Burnett, Ricky Peal and Scott Hartman.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Vernie Lee
SULPHUR -- Services for Vernie Lee will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Cowley-Krien Chapel with the Rev. Randy Chapman officiating. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Lee was born June 7, 1910, in Davis to George Wilson and Delilah Burnett Knight. She died Nov. 26, 1998, in a Sulphur healthcare facility.
Reared in Arkansas and Stillwell, she moved back to Davis in 1935. She married Henry David Lee Feb. 1, 1935. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Her husband preceded her in death in 1997.
She is survived by two daughters, Betty Runyan of Sulphur; Allene Blackburn of Harrah; six sons, J.B., Wynnewood, Arlin, Davis, George, Davis, Raymond, Gainsville, Texas, Monroe, Sulphur, Bob, Sulphur; two brothers William N. Knight and Clarence M. Knight, both of Sulphur; two sisters, Jane Billings and Minnie Baumgardner, both of Sulphur; 27 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Emmitt Franklin Seigler
MADILL -- Graveside services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today at Oakland Cemetery for Emmitt Franklin Seigler, 78, Oakland. Lyndol Adams officiated with services under the direction of Watts Funeral Home.
Born Dec. 22, 1919, at Caddo, he died Nov. 25, 1998, at his home.
Reared at Kenefic, he served in the U.S. Army in during World War II. He later lived in Sulphur and moved to Madill in 1981 from Fort Worth, Texas.
Mr. Seigler worked at Texas Christian University and a state school as a grounds keeper. He was a member of the local American Legion and VFW chapters and the Fort Worth Church of Christ.
He married Helen Fern Cooper March 4, 1950, at Wichita Falls, Texas.
Survivors include: his wife, of the home; and a sister, Julia Bell, Sulphur.

Kenneth Francis Simmons Sr.
Kenneth Francis Simmons Sr., 77, Ardmore, after a lengthy illness, went to be with his Lord Nov. 28, 1998.
He was born March 21, 1921, to Bill and Opal Simmons in Ada, Okla.
Kenneth and his wife, Helen Ruth Burch, met at a youth rally in Wirt. They were married Dec. 2, 1940. To this union of 58 years were born two sons, who were primarily reared in Ardmore.
After service to his country, Ken and Helen moved to Texas in 1946 to complete his education at Southwestern University. The Oklahoma oilfields attracted Kenneth back to Oklahoma to a career with Welex, a company of Halliburton Company. He retired as an engineer and district manager.
Kenneth had many interests such as golfing, fishing and basketball, but his passion and talent in retirement years was repairing and building clocks.
Kenneth was a member of St. Phillips Episcopal Church, a 32nd degree Mason, a Shriner and Disabled American Veteran.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Helen, of the home; two sons, Kenneth F. Simmons Jr. and wife, Patricia, Tulsa, Jerry D. Simmons and wife, Nati, Dallas; two sisters, Rosella Skinner, Oklahoma City, and Treva Dockray, Cushing; a brother, Doyle Simmons, Coweta; four grandchildren, Kenneth F. Simmons III, Laura LaBlue, Alan Simmons, Jerry D. Simmons Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Scarlet and Noah Simmons and Ashton LaBlue.
The family wishes to thank the many friends who lovingly supported Kenneth and Helen during his battle with M.S. and three open heart surgeries. They ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association or charity of choice.
Father Charles Brown will conduct private memorial services Monday. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home.

Mary Dudek
Memorial services for Mary Dudek, 75, will be 2 p.m. today at the Central Church of Christ, Ardmore, and 10 a.m. Monday at the Wilshire Church of Christ, 400 East Wilshire Blvd, Oklahoma City.
Born Dec. 15, 1922, at Michie, Tenn., to Elmer and Lillie Splann Carroll, she died Nov. 26, 1998.
She was a member of the Central Church of Christ, Ardmore.
Survivors include two sons, Ken Magness, Mt. Juliet, Tenn., and Eric Magness, Guthrie; one daughter, Sandy Whitlock, Ardmore; brothers; a sister; and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to the American Cancer Society, the James Garvelle Missionary Fund, P.O. Box 1782, Ardmore, Okla., 73402, or charity of your choice.
Services directed by the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.

Austin Dean Landreth
TALOGA -- Services for Austin Dean Landreth, two months, will be 2 p.m. today at the Taloga Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Paul DeWolfe officiating. Interment will be in Mound Cemetery.
Born Sept. 18, 1998, in Elk City, to Mike and Sandra Renea Cope Landreth, he died Nov. 27, 1998, at an Ardmore hospital, the apparent victim of sudden infant death syndrome.
Survivors include his parents, one sister, Cassandra Renea; maternal grandparents, Dwain and Imagene Cope, Taloga; paternal grandparents, Bill and Neva Landreth, Ardmore; maternal great-grandmother, Gertrude Nicewarner, Weatherford; paternal great-grandfather, James Landreth, Watonga.
Memorials may be made to the Austin Dean Landreth Memorial Fund through the Dewey County State Bank, Taloga.
Services are under the direction of Redinger Funeral Home.

Juanita Todd Watson
HEALDTON -- Graveside services were scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Mount Olive Cemetery for Juanita Todd Watson, 84, Winchester, Tenn.
Born Nov. 12, 1914, at Wilson, to Thomas and Laura Little Todd, she died Nov. 25, 1998, in Winchester.
A longtime Healdton resident, she married James Eugene "Gene" Watson June 16, 1937, in Wilson. He preceded her in death Feb. 26, 1975.
Survivors include one son, Tommy Gene Watson, Sewanee, Tenn.; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Reser Funeral Home will direct services.

Selma Mae Barker
MADILL -- Graveside services for Selma Mae Barker, 70, were Saturday at the Shay Cemetery under the direction of the Watts Funeral Home.
Born Dec. 23, 1927, at Fobb, she died Nov. 26, 1998, at Madill.
Mrs. Barker worked many years at Marietta Sportswear and cooked at local cafes. A member of the Baptist faith, she moved to Lebanon where she lived until she moved to a Madill health care facility in 1992.
She married Lois Barker in New Mexico in 1946. The made their home in Oregon until his death March 31, 1968.
Survivors include four sons, Wain and Randy, both of Lebanon, Hank, Ardmore, and Michael, Texas; four daughters, Betty Howard, Woodville, Tricia Flanagan, Marietta, Lena Neasbitt, Washita Point and Carol Soelberg, Ardmore; three brothers, Bill Richard of Arizona, Glen and Calvin Richard, both of Oklahoma; one sister, Shirley Southerland; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Richard 'Bill' Belcher
TISHOMINGO -- Services for Richard "Bill" Belcher, 85, Tishomingo, will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Corbin Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Perry Crisp and Artie Quinton officiating. Interment will follow in Tishomingo City Cemetery.
Born Sept. 4, 1913, in DeQueen, Ark., to Flint and Zora Anderson Belcher, he died Nov. 26, 1998, in Tishomingo.
Mr. Belcher served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He received many medals including the Good Conduct award and the EAME Campaign Medal with four Bronze Stars. A truck driver for Dolese Rock Plant, he was a member of the American Legion and the Baptist faith.
He married Ollie Mae Freeman in Sulphur June 14, 1941. She survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Billy, Rowlett, Texas, Jerry, Boerne, Texas, and Greg, Ada; two daughters, Carolyn Hathaway, Sachse, Texas, and Leslie Blevins, MIll Creek; two sisters, Vida Mae Hobby, Moore, and Ida Chandler, Fortuna, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Herbert and Chester Belcher, and one sister, Aletha Watson.

Kenneth L. Aldridge
Graveside services for Kenneth L. Aldridge, 66, will be 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 1998, at the Newport Cemetery with John Laws officiating.
The son of George Arlen and Cleo Ezell Aldridge, he was born July 31, 1932, in Berwyn and passed from this life Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, in a local hospital.
He married the former Mary Miles Torrins of Inglewood, Calif. Dec. 16, 1951, in Las Vegas, Nev. He was in the U.S. Army from 1950 through 1954, during the Korean conflict. He was stationed at Miramar Naval Air Base, San Diego, Calif.
He was employed at Hughes Aircraft in Inglewood, Calif., until 1960, then moved to Lubbock, Texas, and worked for Litton Industries. In June, 1969, he moved to Ardmore and was a sergeant in the Ardmore Police Department, working in the Crime Lab Division until his retirement in January 1994. He was a Sgt. First Class in the National Guard and retired on Aug. 16, 1991, and was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, of the home; his stepfather, Wesley Wright, Idalou, Texas; three daughters, Linda Bamburg and Sharon Cox, Ardmore, and Lloyd Cox, Texarkana, Texas, and Debbie and her husband, Duane Denney, Lone Grove; one brother, James Wright and his wife, Lynda, Dickson; two sisters, Betty Hill, Summersville, S.C. and Lavonn and husband, Ernie Rocha, Idalou, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Roddie and husband, Steve Baden, Brian's Head, Utah, and Joanie and husband, Denney McLemore, Las Vegas, Nev.; four grandsons, Shawn Laws and wife, Jackie, Madill, Jeremy Cox, Ardmore, Eric Lyons, Wynnewood and Dustin Denney, Lone Grove; three granddaughters, Amy and husband, Jay Shirley, Healdton, Destiny Denney, Lone Grove and Anna Bamburg, Ardmore; three great-grandsons, Tyler Cox, Brayden Laws and Ryan Shirley; three nieces, Glenda Hill, Machelle Phinney, Colleen McCarty; six nephews, Jim, Robert, Ronnie Wright, Greg Hill, Ronald McCarty and David Smith.
Craddock Funeral Home will direct services.
Memorials may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice or the American Cancer Society.

Earl David Fugett
THACKERVILLE -- Services were Saturday in Lebanon, Ohio, for Earl David Fugett, 69, Thackerville. Interment was in the Lebanon Cemetery.
Born Oct. 26 1929, at Middletown, Ohio, to James C. and Eva Foster Fugett, he died Nov. 24, 1998, at his home.
Mr. Fugett had lived in Thackerville three months, moving from Ohio. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. A member of the Baptist faith, he retired from the Ford Motor Company after 28 years.
Survivors include two sons, Earl, Ardmore, and Greg, Rogers, Ark.; three daughters, Donna Shurbet, Thackerville, Debbie Hall, Oregonia, Ohio, and Diana Hall, Waynesville, Ohio; one brother, Drexal, Lebanon, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Local services were directed by Kennedy Funeral Home.
