Campbell 'Bozo' Hicks
RAVIA -- Services for Campbell "Bozo" Hicks, 64, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Rock Harbor Church in Ravia. Interment will be at Ravia Cemetery under the direction of Corbin Funeral Home.
Hicks died March 23, 1999, in Oklahoma City. He was born April 5, 1934, at Ravia, to William T. and Nora Henderson Hicks.
He moved to Tishomingo three years ago from Ravia where he had lived most of his life. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was employed as a cement finisher.
Survivors include a brother, J.D., Ravia; and four sisters, Elouise Johnson, Tishomingo, Hiawatha Reed, Troy, Lottie Routzong, Mill Creek, and Cecelia Hicks, Ravia.

Susanna M. Jones
EDMOND -- Services for longtime Ardmore resident Susanna M. Jones, 87, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Peace Lutheran Church in Edmond. Interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler under the direction of Hahn-Cook-Street & Draper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jones died March 20, 1999. She had lived in Ardmore most of her life before moving to Edmond.

Margaret 'Bitty Hunt' Rock
ARLINGTON, Texas -- Services for Ardmore native Margaret "Bitty Hunt" Rock, 67, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas.
Mrs. Rock died March 22, 1999. She was born July 1, 1931, in Ardmore.
She graduated from Ardmore High School in 1949 and was the widow of Paul Rock.
Survivors include a son, Howard Barnes, Frisco, Texas; two daughters, Dela Mason, Arlington, and Linda Zuber, Lubbock, Texas; a brother, Sam Hunt, Arlington; and three grandchildren.

Violet J. Turner
Services for Violet J. Turner, 88, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Chapel with the Rev. Rick Denham officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Turner died March 22, 1999, in a local health care facility. She was born Dec. 18, 1910, to John H. and Cora Turner.
A lifetime resident of Ardmore, she worked in the laboratory of Colvert Dairy before she retired and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include nieces, Fern Marable, Janie Duncan, Sandra Couch and Lillie Clifton; and nephews, Bill Wilingham, Harold, Jimmy and Charles Turner.

Mary Lou Putnam
Services for Mary Lou Putnam, 66, Sanger, Texas, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Chapel with the Rev. Ed Gatlin officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Putnam was born March 3, 1933, at Piggott, Ark., to Willard and Ollie Files. She died March 24, 1999, in a Denton health care facility.
She married Frank Putnam Aug. 1, 1953, at Enid, and had lived in the Sanger area since 1992, moving there from Littleton, Colo. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Krum, Texas.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Frank Jr., Houston; two daughters, Luanne Keith, Orange City, Iowa, and Laura Junking, Collierville, Tenn.; a sister, Carolyn Walker, Litchfield Park, Ariz.; and eight grandchildren.
Bearers will be John Brolsma, Jack Walker, Don Keith, Steven Scott, Judd, Steven Scott, John, Phillip and Christopher Putnam. Honorary bearer is George A. Keith.
The family will receive friends at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Edgar T. 'Syckie' Stevenson
Services for Edgar T. "Syckie" Stevenson will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Warren Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Frankye Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Hickory Cemetery in Woodford.
Stevenson died March 19, 1999, in the local hospital. He was born Feb. 28, 1923, at Springer, to Manley and Elizabeth Taylor Stevenson.
He attended school in Woodford and at Tatums and joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church at an early age. He was employed by Stromberg-Carlson and retired from Uniroyal Tire Co. in 1985. He was preceded in death by stepsons, Clifford and Glenn White.
Survivors include his wife, JoAnn, of the home; two sons, Leon Stevenson, Arlington, Texas, and James C. Shannon, Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter, Patricia Hempstead, Tulsa; a sister, Dorothy Williamson, San Antonio, Texas; stepmother, Helen Stevenson, Ardmore; five stepbrothers; nine stepsisters; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Ragsdale-Grant and Sons Mortuary will direct services.

Isla Rea Rogers
Graveside services for Isla Rea Rogers are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 1999, at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Edgar Wallace officiating.
Isla Rea Rogers was born on May 15, 1926, at Fort Smith, Ark., to William Randolph and Daisy Hughes Elliott. She passed this life on March 25, 1999, in the local hospital following a sudden illness at the age of 72.
She was married to Archie Lee Rogers in Fort Smith, Ark., on Sept. 5, 1942. He preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 1989. She had been a resident of Ardmore for the last 48 years, moving here from Bonham, Texas. She was a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Ann Miles of Westlake Village, Calif., and Janet Rogers of Dallas; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Miles of Boulder, Colo., Robert Winters Miles of Denver, Jean Neustadt III and Laura Lynn Neustadt, both of Houston.
Services are under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.

Ida N. Hale
SULPHUR -- Services for Ida Nelice Hale, 86, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Clagg Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Price officiating. Interment will be at Foster Cemetery in Foster.
Mrs. Hale died March 23, 1999, in Sulphur. She was born June 15, 1912, at Comanche, to Stephen and Minnie Waters Gunter.
Reared in the Tussy area, she lived in Ratliff City, Sulphur and Roff before moving to Stratford 17 years ago. She was a member of Wynnewood Church of Christ. She and Ira W. Hale were married Sept. 3, 1932, at Duncan. He preceded her in death Jan. 10, 1997.
Survivors include four daughters, Denise Lamb, Roff, Diane Cox, Welch, Lynda Van Dyck, Denison, Texas, and Crystal Bonck, New Iberia, La.; four sons, Ira D., Fairview, James W., Olympia, Wash., Larry D., Washington, and Terry, Roff; two sisters, Laverne Gunter and Patricia Gilliam, Antlers, three brothers, Carroll Gunter, Antlers, Roy Gunter, Duncan, and George Gunter, Clovis, N.M.; 21 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded by three sisters, Mildred Chatham, Maggie Sutton and Lorene Gunter.
Bearers will be Aaron Lamb, Cody Cox, Marc Osmon, Brandon, Jody, Jesse, Jimmy, Brent and Terry Hale Jr.
The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.

Harvey D. Smith
MOORE -- Services for Harvey Dennis Smith, 57, were March 23, 1999, in Moore. Interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery, Ardmore.
Smith, of Moore, died March 21, 1999. He was born Aug. 16, 1941, at Bunkie, La.
He was a member of Ardmore First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Rita, of the home; a son, Lance, Oklahoma City; his mother, Vyda Ragsdale, Ardmore; a brother, Eddie, Highland Village, Texas; and a grandson.

James A. Arthurs
EDMOND -- Services for James Aaron Arthurs will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 1999, at Fairview Baptist Church, I-35 and Sooner Rd., Edmond. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Baggerley Funeral Home.
James Aaron Arthurs, of Greenville, Texas, died March 24, 1999, at the age of 20. James was born to Ralph and Carolyn Arthurs Nov. 21, 1978, in Chickasha, Okla.
Aaron was active in FFA, baseball and football. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, rodeos and being outdoors. He was a member of the Methodist faith. Aaron worked in construction.
Aaron is survived by his mother, Carolyn Arthurs Koch and husband, Tom; his father, Bruce Arthurs, Sr.; a brother, Bruce Arthurs and wife Melissa, of Hinton; grandparents Oscar and Bonnie Catlin of Verden, Okla.; stepbrothers, Rick Koch and Don Koch; and stepsister, Brenda Morgan, all of Sabetha, Kan.; and nephews, Ethan and Orrin Arthurs.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fairview Baptist Church, 1230 N. Sooner Road, Edmond, OK 73034.

Madge Blanchard
Services for Madge Farrington Blanchard, Wichita Falls, Texas, wil be at 4 p.m. today at Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Chapel with the Rev. Ernest C. Maddon officiating.
Mrs. Blanchard was born to Irving J. and Emma Marie Herrick Dec. 20, 1903, at Merrill, Wis. She died March 25, 1999, in the local hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Blanchard, in 1968.
She is survived by a daughter, Joan Blanchard, Wichita Falls.

Vera Blanton
Services for Vera Blanton, 87, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Harvey-Douglas Chapel with the Rev. Billy Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Born to Taylor and Jessie Love June 13, 1911, in Ardmore. She died March 24, 1999, in the local hospital.
She had been a resident of Ardmore all her life and was a nurses aide at Lu Ken Nursing Home for many years. She was the widow of John Blanton who died June 17, 1969.
Survivors include a daughter, Vivian Kent, Ardmore; five sons, Jackie, Lexington, Junior, Dallas, Dan, Truman and Oscar, all of Ardmore; 28 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Charles Wood, Vincent Marris, Luke Ryals, Todd Jackson, Jemey Frasier and Danny Watkins.

Goldie Hepner
Memorial services for Goldie Hepner, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness with Wayne Walker officiating.
Mrs. Hepner was born april 26, 1911, at Waurika, to Hugh and Letha A. Smock Conley. She died March 21, 1999 in the local hospital.
She was a homemaker. She moved to Ardmore two years ago from Lawton where she had lived all her life.
Survivors include three sisters, Dovie Smith, Durant, Sylvie Vaughan, Ardmore, and Daisy Jones, Wade. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Hepner; three daughters; two sons; two sisters; and a brother.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home will direct services.
