Louella White
THACKERVILLE -- Graveside rites for Louella White, 84, will be at 4 p.m. today at Mount Zion Cemetery with Johnny Reed officiating.
Mrs. White died Feb. 17, 1997, in the Marietta hospital. She was born Jan. 20, 1913, to Mallory and Anna Bryant Walsworth.
She had been a resident of Love County since 1972, and was married to Vardie White March 17, 1995, in Marietta. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Walsworth, Sept. 13, 1992.
Survivors include her husband, Marietta; a son, Kenneth Howard, Plano, Texas; a daughter, Mary Sylve, Richmond, Texas; three brothers, Fate Walsworth, San Bruno, Calif., Shelby "Red" and Guy Walsworth, Jonesboro, La.; two sisters, Rosie Cummings, also Jonesboro, and Nettie Walsworth, Hodge, La.; five grandchildren eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Kennedy Funeral Home will direct services.

Jerry R. Vandagriff
MARLOW -- Services for Jerry Ray Vandagriff will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Calloway-Smith and Cobb Funeral Home.
Vandagriff died Feb. 17, 1997, in the Duncan hospital. He was born Sept. 7, 1939, at Bray, to Chester and Ethel Anderson Vandagriff.
He was a pump repairman for Ken-Car Corporation. He and Glenda Sue Sparks were married April 5 1963, at Wichita Falls, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters, Kim Dumas, Velma, and Gina Jenson, Marlow; three brothers, Dan, Bray, Bob, Lufkin, Texas, Jim, Houston; five sisters, Peggy Wortham, Marlow, Cherrie Cox and Betty Branch, Meridian, and Mary Mitchell and Lois Woods,Duncan; and four grandchildren.

Velma McMillan
Services for Velma McMillan, 85, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Harvey-Douglas Chapel with the Rev. Monty Baggett officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. McMillan died Feb. 17, 1997, after a brief illness. She was born Jan. 28, 1912, at Irvin, to Virgil and Sophia Williams Nation.
A registered nurse, she served in the Army Nurses Corps eight years during World War II and was among the first nurses sent to the Hawaiian Islands after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. She also saw duty in the Philippines. She worked at hospitals in Ardmore, Texas and California, then returned here in 1970. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She and Bill McMillan were married here in 1947. He preceded her in death in 1987.
Survivors include a son, Bill W., Spring Valley, Calif.; six sisters, Helen Mayo, Hugo, Lavell Smith, Lone Grove, Estell Lyons, Center Point, Ind., Beatrice West, Arlington, Texas, Lula Henniger and Sarah McMillan, Ardmore; and three granddaughters.
Bearers will be Glen Vanway, John DeHart, Vernon Nation, Leallen Whertvine, Eugene Cravatt and Harold McMillan.

Mary L. Black
SULPHUR -- Services for Mary Lee Black, 64, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Steve Biggerstaff officiating. Interment will be at Dolberg Cemetery under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
Mrs. Black died Feb. 19, 1997, in Sulphur. She was born June 15, 1932, at Seminole, to George and LaVada Johnson Decker.
Reared in California, she moved to Sulphur in 1978 and worked as a ward clerk at the Artesian Nursing Home for 20 years. She and Gordon Junior Black were married Nov. 13, 1948, at Reno, Nev. He preceded her in death Jan. 5, 1990. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Black, Sulphur; three sons, Johnny L., Fontana, Calif., Michael D., Vacaville, Calif., and Donald C., Roff; two brothers, Jack Decker, Norfolk, Calif., and Robert Decker, West Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Louise Kidd, Live Oak, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Ken Barton, Jim Hartwell, Bill McKinney, Willis Vandagriff, Bobby McKinney and Thad Snelgrooes.

A.R. Richburg
SULPHUR -- Services for A.R. Richburg, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. James Swain officiating. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
Richburg died Feb. 19, 1997, in Sulphur. He was born Nov. 25, 1909, at Valdosta, Ga., to Edward and Sally Rigel Richburg.
He moved to Broken Bow at the age of 9 and married Iva Austin there Oct. 7, 1933. They moved to Sulphur in 1947. He worked several years in the oil fields and later at the Sulphur Veterans Center. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters, Barbara Mann, Sulphur, and Lynn Williams, Port Neches, Texas; a son, David, Sulphur; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Mike Little, Kelly Williams, Jeremy and Glenn Mann, John and Joe Richburg.

Hattie L. Smith
MILO -- Services for Hattie Lou Smith, 90, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jehovah Baptist Church in Milo with the Rev. W.J. Wallace officiating. Interment will be at Jehovah Cemetery under the direction of Kirk-Dawson-Dillard Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith, who died Feb. 17, 1997, in the local hospital, was born Jan. 7, 1907, in New Boston, Texas, to Willie and Josephine Butler White.
She moved to Milo in 1978 and became a member of Jehovah Baptist Church where she was a member of the Mission and the Mother's board. She was preceded in death by her husband, M.C. Smith; and a daughter, Versie Mae Smith.
She is survived by a granddaughter, Alma J. Shannon; and grandson, Anthony J. Smith, both of Milo; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Ray and Jerome Shannon, Travis Lightsey, Johnathon Wrenn, Charles McGee and Anthony Smith. Honorary bearers are Leo and Ed Shannon, Miles Douglas, Edward Abram, Gilbert and Reuben Anderson.

Katy Sutton Anhalt
Former Ardmoreite Katy Belle Sutton Riley Anhalt, 97, passed away Feb. 14, 1997, in California.
She was born Oct. 31, 1899, near Hot Springs, Ark., to the late Dozier and Katy Griffin Sutton.
She came with her parents by wagon to Ardmore in 1909. She attended Southwestern Junior College in Keene, Texas, and was the first teacher of the Seventh-day Adventist Church School in Ardmore in 1919. Later she moved to California where she operated her own beauty shop in Montibello for many years.
She was first married to Paul Riley and later to Paul Anhalt, both of whom preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, George Ray Riley, and wife, Beverly, of San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; one grandson, General James Riley, and wife, Linda, of the U.S. Army; one sister, Jessie Sutton Hinton of Springer; and many nephews and nieces.

Dennis T. Moore
LEBANON -- Services for Dennis T. Moore, 73, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lyndol Adams officiating. Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home, Marietta.
Moore died Feb. 19, 1997, in a Sherman, Texas, hospital. He was born July 3, 1923, at Frederick, to Ivan B. and Nola Crumby Moore.
Married to Faye Hanks Jan. 18, 1947, at Burkburnett, Texas, he worked 17 years at the post office in Lawton then worked for the Federal Aviation Administration in Oklahoma City 18 years before he retired. He moved from Yukon to Lebanon in 1982 and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and Raymond Moore.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Jim, Houston, and Terry, Lebanon; a daughter, Barbara Mathis, Big Spring, Texas; a brother, Nolan, Duncan; and three grandchildren.
Bearers will be Mike Weaver, George Burke, Mark Crozier, James Thompson, Billy Fred McKay and Carl Moore. Honorary bearers are Robert Hand and Jim Thompson.

Mark Henry Croskell
Funeral services for Mark Henry Croskell, 34, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Croskell Family Ranch.
Beloved son of Henry and Madelon Byrd Croskell, he was born on March 21, 1962 and left this earth on the wings of eagles Feb. 22, 1997.
Mark graduated from Park Way West High School in 1981 and attended Meramec Junior College in St. Louis, Mo.
Mark is survived by his parents, of the home; and a sister, Maralyn Lee Croskell, Dallas.
Bearers are Scott Byrd, Bruce Byrd, Randy Farr, Robert Clark, Fred Gordon and Rick Eichacker. Honorary bearers are James Howard, F.W. Conway and Dewey Craig.
Services are under the direction of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.

Billy Ray Balthrop
Services for Billy Ray Balthrop, 71, Madill, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Chapel with the Rev. Dan Patman officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Born May 19, 1925, at Ardmore to Charles G. and Ona Ethel Balthrop, he died Feb. 21, 1997, at a Denison, Texas, hospital.
Balthrop was raised in Ardmore. He had served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Balthrop married Mildred Barck on Jan. 2, 1948, at Las Vegas. He had lived at Madill for the past 15 years, moving there from Escondido, Calif. He was a retired home builder and member of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; one son, Jim, Eufaula; one daughter, Lonna Smith, Murrieta, Calif.; one brother, J.C., Throckmorton, Texas; three sisters, Imogene Summers, Stanford, Texas, Norma Sharp, Oklahoma City, and Anita Sue Mitchell, Ardmore; four grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.
Bearers are Raymond Helms, Tim Berryhill, Floyd Miller, Glen Owens, Wondo Mitchell and Billy Sels.

Remelle McKinney
MARIETTA -- Graveside rites for Remelle McKinney, 84, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Lakeview Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Elswick officiating.
Born March 31, 1912, at Canyon, Texas, to Bart and Mabel Sherman Cluck, she died Feb. 21, 1997, at a local health care facility. She married Weldon McKinney on Nov. 11, 1931, at Canyon. He preceded her in death May 25, 1986.
Mrs. McKinney had lived in Marietta since 1930. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Bob McKinney, Marietta; two sisters, Polly White, Tucson, Ariz., and Evelyn Massey, Austin, Texas; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Kennedy Funeral Home from 3-5 p.m. today.

Clayton Edward Tucker
RINGLING -- Services for Clayton Edward Tucker will be 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. J.W. Ray officiating. Interment will follow at Ringling Memorial Cemetery.
Tucker died Feb. 20, 1997, in the Ardmore hospital. He was born Jan. 13, 1919, north of Ringling to G.E. and Gertie Whisnant Tucker.
He and Beatrice Enloe were married Nov. 2, 1938, at Ringling, where they made their home. He had worked in the oil fields and ranched for the past 27 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; three daughters, Bennie Bollier, Betty Roberts and Donna King, all of Ringling; a sister, Beatrice Bryant, Quincy, Wash.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Gale Bollier, Joe Roberts, Joey Roberts, Scott Pruitt, Steve Pybas, Stacy Clough and Johnny King. Honorary bearers are Ike Roberts, D.L. Crook, Ray Folsom, Audie Roberts and Troy Huggins.
Alexander Funeral Home will direct services.

Harvey Rhondle 'Ron' Scott
MUSTANG -- Services for Harvey Rhondle "Ron" Scott, 61, Mustang, were at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 1997, at Chisolm Heights Baptist Church with Dr. Dave Brian and the Rev. Raymond McDowell officiating. Graveside rites followed at 2:30 p.m. at Corley Cemetery, Stratford.
Born Dec. 11, 1935, at Wanette to Harvey L. and Jessie Anderson Scott, he died Feb. 20, 1997, at his home.
Reared in the Wynnewood area, he graduated from Wynnewood High School and attended Oklahoma Baptist University. He married Pat Duncan on June 30, 1956, at Wynnewood. He was a member of the 45th Division. He worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 23 years, owning the tire dealerships in Ardmore, Muskogee, Del City, Oklahoma City and Bethany. Scott had been a deacon and Sunday school teacher in the Baptist church for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Pat, of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Doug Williams of Newcastle; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie Len and Pam Scott of Mustang, and M. Clay and Pandy Scott of Oklahoma City; a brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Janie Scott of Mustang; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marlene and Bud Bostic of Oklahoma City, and Gaye and Robin Curtis of Mustang; and five grandchildren.
Bearers at Mustang were Forrest Claunch, Bill Bigham, Kenny Ferguson, Jim Owens, Allen Berkley and Jim Bowman. Bearers at Stratford were Everett Mercer, Elmer Gaeddett, Mel Fennel, Jim Richard, Rocky Anderson and Brent Forrester.
Services were directed by Pickard Funeral Home.
