Alexander Z. Jackson
WAPANUCKA -- Graveside services for Alexander Zachary Jackson, 16 months, were scheduled for 11 a.m. today at Rosehill Cemetery in Wapanucka.
The baby died Feb. 1, 1999, in Dallas. He was born Sept. 21, 1997, in Sherman, Texas.
He is survived by his parents, Joe and Tammy Jackson, Sherman; a brother, Allen, of the home; grandparents, Carl and Jessie Mitchell, Wapanucka, Carol Mitchell, Star Jackson and Evelyn Newell, Sherman; great-grandmother, Dorothy Kent, Sherman; and great-great-grandmother, Velma Moore, Sherman. He was preceded in death by a brother, Christian Mitchell.
Honorary bearers were Cody Cribbs, Scott, Terry and Bryan Harrison, Dennis and Bill Mitchell.
Corbin Funeral Home, Tishomingo, directed services.

Ronald W. 'Runt' Savage
RATLIFF CITY -- Services for Ronald Wayne "Runt" Savage, Oklahoma City, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ratliff City First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dwight Hawkins officiating. Interment will be at New Velma Cemetery.
Savage died Feb. 2, 1999 at his home. He was born July 21, 1937, at Alma, to Joe and Zora Shawn Savage.
He married Jessie Ray in March of 1958 and lived most of his life around Alma and Velma before moving to Oklahoma City where he worked as a guard for Safety Security.
Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda Reimers; and son, Rusty, Oklahoma City; his mother, Zora Savage, Velma; sisters, Donnie Roberts, Tuttle, Karen Allen, Springer, Linda Rigsby, Madill, and Phyllis Ratliff, Ratliff City; brothers, Darrell, Blanchard, and Phillip, Florida; and five grandchildren.
Milburn Funeral Home will direct services.

Martha Wells
Memorial service for Martha Wells was held Friday in Noble Chapel at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Rick Baggett officiating.
Born in 1918 in Enid to Charles and Helen Harmon, she died on an. 29, 2008, in Ardmore.
She met her childhood sweetheart, Kennett H. Wells in 1931. They graduated from Ardmore High School in 1935 and were married in August of 1939. They shared a wonderful partnership for 67 years. Ken and Marty had two children, Don Allen Wells and Kathy Ann DelaRosa. She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, Don Wells; and a granddaughter, Kenna Pace Guidry.
Marty was a stay-at-home wife and mother and served in that role in a wonderful and loving manner. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Marty will be missed and remembered fondly by everyone who knew her.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy and husband Alex DelaRosa, Ardmore; three grandsons, Kevin Wells and wife, Kyle, Columbus, Ohio, David Wells and wife, Jane, Oak Park, Ill., and Robin Pace; four great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Alice Smith, and brother-in-law, Grover Wells, both of Ardmore.
Craddock Funeral Home will direct services.

Sarah Grace (Morgan) Hodges Tucker
OSWALT - Sarah Grace (Morgan) Hodges Tucker, 86, passed from this life Friday Feb. 1, 2008, at Marietta.
Funeral Services are scheduled at #3:00 p.m. today, February 3, 2008, at Alexander Funeral Chapel, Wilson, with Rev. Monte Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Oswalt Cemetery.
Grace was born Oct. 6, 1921 at Simon to the late Alexander L. Morgan Sr. and Nancy Althea Irvin Morgan. She was raised in Simon attending school at there and at Orr. She married the late Mr. Bob I. Hodges on April 1, 1942, at Simon. He preceded her in death while serving in World War II on August 18, 1944. She later married the late Mr. Gerald W. Tucker on Sept. 10, 1949, at Gainesville, TX. He also preceded her in death Oct. 3, 2001. Grace was always a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She always cherished and adored her family. She was a member of the Rubottom Baptist Church.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Cloy, Jimmy, Erskin and A.L. Jr. and sisters Eunice, Tommie, Annabelle, Linis, Lucy and an infant sister, Althea.
Survivors include her daughters, Sue Ann Davis and husband Lynn of Simon, Nancy Bell Gunter and husband Larry Sr. of Rexroat, and Deborah Kay Cain and husband Sam of Marietta and sons, Gerald A. "Butch" Tucker of Oswalt and Bobby Gene Hodges and wife Barbara of Simon.
Also her grandchildren, Melissa Hodges, Robin Hodges Whatley, Frankie Hodges, Kristin Jenne Lovell, Larry Gunter Jr., Sarah Gunter Farrell, Joseph Gunter, Rachel Gunter Bone, Sammy Cain, Jerry Cain, David Cain, Kayla Tucker and three grandsons she raised as her own, Steve, Bobby and T.J. Tucker; 24 great-grandchildren, a brother, Jack Morgan and wife Barbara of Ardmore; a brother-in-law, Walter Futch of Irving, Texas and numerous other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be son Bobby Gene Hodges and grandsons Frankie Hodges, Larry Gunter Jr., Joseph Gunter, Sammy Cain, Jerry Cain, David Cain Steve Tucker, Bobby Tucker and T.J. Tucker.
Honorary bearers will be the Women's Adult Sunday School Class of Rubottom Baptist Church.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the nurses and staff of the Lake Country Manor Nursing Home and Faith Hospice for their kind felt care and support.
Alexander Funeral Home in Wilson is in charge of arrangements.

James L. Stubblefield
LONE GROVE -- Graveside services for James L. Stubblefield were 4 p.m. Friday at Lone Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Bigger officiating.
Mr. Stubblefield was born June 5, 1909, in Montague County, Texas, to W.H. and Ellen Beam Stubblefield. He passed this life on Jan. 28, 1999, in Ardmore.
He and Velstal Battle were married on June 10, 1933, in Wilson, Okla. He had lived in Ardmore most of his life and was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. He was retired from Cities Service Oil Corporation after 23 years of services as a gauger.
He is survived by his wife, of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Ronnie Burns and Jerri and Thad Day, all of Ardmore; a sister, Estella Muse, Lone Grove; five grandchildren, Joe Burns, Kathi Blakley, Roger Day, Rodney Day and Kristi Reed; 10 great-grandchildren, Todd Blakley, Joe Ryan Snell, Justin Day, Eryn Day, Jacob Reed, Jessica Reed, Tyler Day, Kerra Day, Chera and Renea Burns. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Herman Stubblefield in 1967.
Pallbearers were Joe Burns, Roger Day, Rodney Day, Mark Reed, Todd Blakley, Justin Day and Joe Ryan Snell.
Craddock Funeral Home directed services.

Clyde E. 'Bugs' McGill Jr.
MARIETTA -- Services for Clyde E. "Bugs" McGill Jr., 54, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Higle officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
Born Oct. 27, 1944, at Ardmore to Clyde Sr. and Willie M. Bond McGill, he died Jan 28, 1999, at an Oklahoma City hospital.
McGill lived at Marietta all of his life. He was a 1963 graduate of Marietta High School and attended Oklahoma State University on a football scholarship. He coached Optimist Club Pee-Wee football for several years. He retired as a clerk from the Santa Fe Railroad. McGill was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Kerry McGill, Austin, Texas; three brothers, Vance, Denzil and Jerry McGill, all Marietta; three sisters, Shirley Hicks and Denise McMillan, both Marietta and Pat Evans, Keller, Texas; and two grandsons.
Bearers are Ron Westfall, George Jones Jr., Ron Porter, Jackie Jones, Jim Folsom, Bill Jones and Bill Tyler.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m today at the funeral home.
Services are under the direction of Kennedy Funeral Home.

Bobby Lynn Wallis
Memorial services for Bobby Lynn Wallis, Dallas, will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Lee officiating.
Born Jan. 24, 1944, at Ardmore to Foster and Rotha Wallis, he died at his residence. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1973.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Foster and Sharlene Wallis; four brothers, Bill, Tahlequah, Clelan, Wilson, Larry, Stuarts Draft, Va., and David Wallis, Lone Grove; three sisters, Dea Harrell and Cora McIntire, Ardmore, and Mary Lemons, Altus.
Services are under the direction of Griffin-Kennedy-Watts Funeral Home.

Jennie Mae Peacock
FREDERICK -- Services for Jennie Mae Peacock, 72, Ringling, were Friday at Gish Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Charles Wyatt officiating. Interment was at Frederick Memorial Cemetery.
Born April 1, 1926, at Frederick to Ivan and Rosezella Peacock, she died Jan. 25, 1999, at her home.
Ms. Peacock was reared by her grandparents, Simon and Maggie Anderson until their deaths and then went to live with her uncle Otis Robert "Andy" Anderson in Oklahoma City. She was a graduate of Henderson High School and graduated from Oklahoma City University in 1957 with a bachelor's degree in business. She served in the United States Navy Waves from 1945 to 1953.
Survivors include her uncle, Otis R. Anderson, Edmond.
Memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts of America.

Capitola Boyd
MADILL -- Services for Ona Capitola Boyd were Saturday with Benny Keck officiating. Interment followed at Woodberry-Forest Cemetery.
Born Dec. 2, 1900, at Clarksville, Texas, she died Jan. 28, 1999, at a Denison, Texas, nursing facility following three years of failing health. She married S.P. Boyd on Jan. 1, 1937, at Coalgate. He preceded her in death Dec. 5, 1942.
Mrs. Boyd graduated from Kingston High School in 1921. She graduated from Southeastern State College at Durant with a bachelor's degree and later attained her master's degree from the same institution.
She taught English and journalism for 45 years, 16 years at Kingston, 20 years at Madill and nine years at Murray State College. She was a member of the Church of Christ since 1937.
Survivors include a nephew, Tommy McClendon, Branson, Mo., and a niece, Ruth Pierce, Denison.
Bearers were David Dun, John Jones, Harvey Reid, Bill Ayres, George Putman and Terry Eldridge. Honorary bearers are Ernest Muncrief, Otis Wilson, Maurice Brock, Clyde Kendall and Bill Anderson.
Services were under the direction of Watts Funeral Home.

Sarah Mildred Reynolds
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Graveside rites for Sarah Mildred Reynolds, 86, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Chapel Hill Memory Gardens Cemetery with Tom Byrd officiating.
Born Jan. 22, 1913, at Carnegie to Albert and Lillie Mae Starky Bradley, she died Jan. 29, 1999, at Davis. She married Allen W. Reynolds, who preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 1978.
Mrs. Reynolds grew up at Carnegie. She later lived at Kingston, where she and her husband owned and operated a grocery store, cabins and boat dock. She had also lived in Oklahoma City and Sulphur.
Survivors include nieces Pauline Wells and Lucille Gray, Sulphur and a nephew, Lynn Reynolds, Fort Worth, Texas.
Services are under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.

Florence 'Granny' Sides
TISHOMINGO -- Services for Florence "Granny" Sides, 78, Milburn will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Corbin Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Condon Grove Cemetery.
Born Jan. 15, 1921, at Emit to David and Lula Emily Brown Rochester, she died Jan 29, 1999, at her residence. She was preceded in death by three brothers, and infant brother, David Rochester and Finley Rochester.
She married Franklin William Sides on Aug. 20, 1943, at Tishomingo. Mrs. Sides was a member of the Milburn Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; six sons, David Sides, Garland, Texas, Howard Sides, Quinlin, Texas, Daniel Sides, Wylie, Texas, Max Sides, Author City, Texas, Terry Sides, Milburn and Ronnie Sides, Garland, Texas; five daughters, Mae Hess, Dallas, Sue Boles, Paris, Texas, Lula Jackson, Milburn, Wanda Howard, Huffman, Texas and Kristie Sides, Milburn; one sister, Francis Rollins, Tishomingo; 21 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Ronnie Sides, Jerry Black, Andy Sides, Bret Converse, Jody Brown and Kevin Sides.

Eugene Vickrey
Services for Eugene Vickrey were 2 p.m. Saturday at the Maxwell Avenue Church of Christ with Dr. Virgil Trout officiating. Interment followed at Mount Olive Cemetery, Healdton.
Born Dec. 27, 1915, at Healdton to Robert Edward and Idell Wade Vickrey, he died at a local hospital Jan. 28, 1999, following a sudden illness.
He married Loretha Mason July 26, 1936, at Dallas. They had been residents of Ardmore for the past 20 years, moving from Healdton. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Army in the South Pacific Theater. He retired from the United States Postal Service in 1971, following 30 years of service at Healdton. He was the first person to organize the new housing projects at Healdton, including Vickrey Addition which was begun in the 1950s.
An Eagle Scout, Vickrey was the recipient of the Boy Scouts of America Silver Beaver Award. He influenced may young men to become Eagle Scouts, including his son and his oldest and youngest grandsons.
He was an active member of the Maxwell Avenue Church of Christ. While living at Healdton he was an elder in the Shell Street Church of Christ. After moving to Ardmore he especially enjoyed leading singing, as well as organizing trips for the Elite Senior Group at Maxwell Avenue Church of Christ.
A devoted alumnus of Healdton High School, he helped to organize the Healdton Former Students Association and never missed the annual June banquets throughout his 50 years on the board of the Healdton Alumni Association.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters, Ruth Ann McNeill and her husband, Tom, Healdton, and Frances Waugh, Dallas; one son, Jon Wayne Vickrey, and his wife, Marsha, Carlsbad, N.M.; two sisters, Lucile Cheatham, and her husband Frank, Tulsa, and Norene Baxter, and her husband Hurshel, Alamosa, Colo.; 10 grandchildren, Scott McNeill, and his wife Laura, Ardmore, Brett McNeill, and his wife Vanessa, Richardson, Texas, Stephen McNeill, Ardmore, Ryan McNeill, freshman at Abilene Christian University, Nicole Waugh, and her husband John Hayed Miethe, Nashville, Tenn., Anna Waugh, Manhattan, N.Y., Nicholas Waugh, Nashville; Robert Vickrey, and his wife Minnie, Las Cruces, N.M., Jason Vickrey, Pensacola, Fla., and Richard Vickrey, Las Cruces, N.M.; two great-granddaughters, Browyn Annette McNeil and Turner Hayden Miethe; and one great-grandson, Britain Miethe.
Bearers were Andrew Jackson, and grandsons, Scott, Brett, Stephen and Ryan McNeill and Nicholas Waugh.
Memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts of America or the Healdton Alumni Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 771, Healdton.
Services were under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.
