AUGUSTA R. MODER
A graveside service for Augusta R. Moder, 83, Perry, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Grace Hill Memorial Pavilion in Grace Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Roger Dunn will officiate. Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry.
She was born Aug. 8, 1923, in Stillwater to Harvey R. and Elsie C. Periman Fritchman and died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, in Perry.
She married George O. Moder Feb. 14, 1941, in Perry. He died May 11, 1989. She lived in California before moving to Perry 60 years ago. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Georgie Caldwell of Stillwater, Becky Wolfe of Weatherford and Gayla Folsom of Edmond; three brothers, Bert Fritchman of Palmdale, Calif., and Elden Fritchman and James Chamness, both of El Dorado, Kan.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband, George, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one halfbrother.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077, to Judith Karman Hospice, American Cancer Society or Calvary Baptist Church.

GRANT LARUE MOORE
A memorial service for Grant Larue Moore, 51, of Lamont, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Hills-Ely Funeral Home Chapel, Medford. The Rev. William R. Chace will officiate. Burial will be in Lamont Cemetery, Lamont.
He was born Jan. 3, 1955, in Blackwell to Emmet Leonard and Jennie May Grant Moore and died Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, Enid.
He lived in Lamont and graduated from Lamont High School. He was a brick layer and then a machinist for CFM Corporation in Blackwell.
Surviving are two sisters, Claudia Berends of Topeka, Kan., and Jolene Brazda of Lamont; two brothers, Royce Moore of Setell Manor, N.J., and Myron Moore of Loveland, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

ELBYE KIRKPATRICK MOORE
A graveside service for Elbye Kirkpatrick Moore, 88, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Mount Olive Cemetery, Healdton. The Rev. Kevin Strope will officiate. Arrangements are by Spivey Reser Funeral Home, Healdton.
She was born Jan. 1, 1919, in Fox to Bainbridge and Lula Kirkpatrick and died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2006, in Enid.
She graduated from Fox High School. She married Garth Woodrow Moore. He died July 21, 2001.
She worked as a telephone operator for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Co. during World War II. She later worked for Haliburton Services Co. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Shidler.
Surviving are two sons, Col. Kenneth M. Moore of Enid and Woodrow M. Moore of Sugar Land, Texas; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
In addition to her husband, Garth, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter.

ETHEL J. ROSE
A graveside service for Ethel J. Rose, 81, of Attica, Kan., will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Alva Municipal Cemetery. Bill Rose and Timothy Perkins, pastors, will officiate. Arrangements are by Wharton Funeral Chapel, Alva.
She was born March 17, 1925, in Alva to Pearl May Sallee and William Elmer Canaan and died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2006, in Attica (Kan.) Long Term Care.
She attended Alva schools. She married Charles Lester Rose Oct. 30, 1940, in Enid. He died April 30, 2002. They made their home in Alva where she worked at T.G.&Y store. In 1963, they moved to Fort Smith, Ark., where she managed Dollar Store at Alma, Ark. In 1976 they moved to Sharon, Kan., where she worked at Sharon Liquor Store and in November of 2000 they returned to Alva. She moved to Sharon in November of 2005. She was a member of Alva First Christian Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Barbara Rucker of Sharon, Charlene Perkins of Blackwell and Susan Campbell of Spiro; one son, Bill of Greenwood, Ark.; two sisters, Dorothy Aker of Albuquerque, N.M., and Beverly Cushman of Enid; three brothers, Melvin of Blackwell, Orville of Derby, Kan., and Don of Alva; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by one brother.

DORIS LORANE EWERS
The funeral for Doris Lorane Ewers, 74, of Watonga, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Methodist Church, Watonga. The Rev. Larry Masoner will officiate. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Watonga. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga.
She was born Jan. 8, 1932, in Wichita, Kan., to William and Mattie Haskins Armstrong and died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006.
She was a resident of Watonga most of her life. In 1970 she moved to Carrollton, Texas, and returned in 1995. She worked for Safeway Grocery Stores for 30 years. She attended Seiling schools and was a member of Methodist Church in Watonga. She married Cleo Hickman in 1947. He died Nov. 2, 2001. She married Philip Ewers April 11, 1970, in Marietta.
Surviving are husband Philip, of the home; one son, David Hickman of Owasso; two daughters, Diana Corrigan of Anaco, Venezuela, and Deborah Harris of Lawton; two stepsons, Rick Ewers of Edmond and Paul Ewers of Tucson, Ariz.; two step-daughters, Rebecca Bubb of Yukon and Melissa Liebbe of Irving, Texas; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.

ROBERT E. WHITNEY SR.
The funeral for Robert E. Whitney Sr., 75, of Enid, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Faith Baptist Church, Attica, Kan. The Rev. Bobby Franklin will officiate. Burial will be in Ferguson Cemetery, southwest of Anthony, Kan. Arrangements are by Prairie Rose Funeral Home, Harper, Kan.
He was born March 31, 1931, in Harper to Edwin K. and Neva L. Dorsset Whitney and died Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, in Avilla, Ind.
He was a retired Marine corporal. He married Gladys C. Thomas July 17, 1961, in Oklahoma City. She died July 21, 2000.
Surviving are one daughter, Neva Slone; two sons, Robert E. Whitney Jr. and Morris H. Whitney; one brother, Joe Whitney; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother.

OWEN MICHAEL PATTERSON
A graveside service for Owen Michael Patterson, infant, will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Enid Ceme-tery. The Rev. John Jamieson will officiate. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
He was born Nov. 14, 2006, in Enid to Kandra Patterson and Wesley Dugger and died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2006, in Children’s Hospital at the OU Medical Center.
Surviving are his parents, Kandra and Wesley; maternal grandmother, Karri Patterson of Enid; and paternal grandmother, Tracy Dugger of Enid.

KAYE DENE KOHL
A graveside service for Kaye Dene Kohl, 72, of Fairview, will be 10 a.m. Monday in Fairview Cemetery, Fairview. The Rev. Brenton Haworth will officiate. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home Inc. Viewing will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
She was born Sept. 2, 1934, in Fairview to Wayne and Martha Groene Stoll and died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, at Fairview Fellowship Home.
She graduated from Franklin High School in Portland, Ore. She married Les Kohl. In 1963, she moved to Fairview where she worked in many places. She worked at Queen’s Kitchen on and off for 15 years before retiring. She attended Christian Church.
Surviving are two sons, Ric Groene of Fairview and Keven Groene of Enid; two grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the funeral home toward expenses.

DAVID ANTHONY WOODS
The funeral for David Anthony Woods, 49, of Enid, who died Nov. 12, 2006, at home, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Grayson Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Norris Wil-liams will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Russ-worm Funeral Home, Enid.
He was born Jan. 12, 1957, at Vance Air Force Base, Enid, Okla., to deceased father, Lee A. Woods Jr. and surviving mother, Delores Woods.
He is survived by two brothers, Lee A. III and sister-in-law, Ruby of Memphis, Stephen of Dallas and one sister, Lenora Elise of Dallas. He is survived by three aunts, his favorite aunt from Brooklyn, Louise; Jean of Brooklyn; and Lenora Cameron of Jackson, Miss. Kevin Woods was his favorite cousin from Brooklyn; nephew, Apollo Woods of Houston; niece, Brittany of Duncan, Okla.; and niece, Pamela of Brooklyn; and many other relatives and treasured friends.
He graduated from Enid Senior High School in 1975 and worked at Oklahoma Natural Gas inspired by the late Rev. Loren Jones. He attended Okmulgee State Tech majoring in auto body. After graduation from Okmulgee Tech, he worked in Hobbs, N.M., and Carlsbad Caverns, N.M. He later formed his own business in Hobbs as an auto body technician.
He moved from Hobbs to Duncan, Okla., and worked for Haliburton as a machinist. Later he moved to Enid, Okla., and started work at Advance Meat Co. He also worked for Punch Lock as a machinist in Enid, Okla.
When he was struck with multiple sclerosis, David leaned on John 15:7 “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you.” David threw his cane away and walked.
David was a man of all trades, he could do anything! David was a very studious person in math and a man of few words, mistaken by some, loved by some, and most of all was himself.
He enjoyed being the music man at Grayson and he loved Grayson Missionary Baptist Church with all of his heart.
More than that, he loved the Lord with all of his heart.

FRANK EMERY DEMOSS
The funeral for Frank Emery DeMoss, 76, of Chester, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hope Cemetery, Orion. The Rev. Orville White will officiate. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home Inc., Fairview.
He was born July 26, 1930, in Rolla, Kan., to Wesley and Lillie Losley DeMoss and died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006, at Veterans Administration Hos-pital in Wichita, Kan.
He served with the Army during the Korean War. Following his discharge he went to work building and painting grain elevators in Kansas. He operated the salt water disposal in Vici and painted stripes in parking lots in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.
He never married and had no children of his own, however, he found a life-long companion in Sharon Montgomery and her two children, Wayne and Risa.
He was preceded in death by his companion.
