JOHNNY ‘MIKE’ MICHAEL HART
Funeral services for Johnny “Mike” Michael Hart, 51, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2006, at Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Rev. Richard Stephens will officiate. A graveside service will be 3:30 p.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Seminole, Okla. Rev. Matt Jones will officiate. Ar-rangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
He was born Oct. 4, 1954, in Seminole, Okla., to Billy “Red” Eugene and Patricia Ann (Bartell) Hart and died Wednes-day, May 17, 2006, at his home.
He was a 1972 graduate of Enid High School.
He married LaDee Hines in December of 1973. On Dec. 6, 1980, he married Glenna Gibson.
Before retirement, Mike worked in the oil field for many years. He later worked for Brittian Merchandising and Murray Bisquit Co. He was a coach for the Best Western men’s softball team and umpire for girls softball. He was a life member of Northwest District Amateur Softball Association.
He is survived by his wife, Glenna of the home, one son Michael and his wife Jody Hart of Enid, one stepson Stephen and his wife Bobbi West of Edmond; two daughters, Jennifer Coleman of Edmond, Bobbie and husband Joshua Andersen of Enid; parents, Red and Pat Hart of Enid; grandchildren, Stephen, Kaleb, Randon, Megan and Daniel; three brothers, Billy E. Hart Jr. of Seminole, Rusty and his wife Janna Hart of Sheridan, Wyo., Tim Hart of Oklahoma City; one sister, Teresa and her husband John Dixon of Byron, Texas.

MURL FREEMAN MOORE
Murl Freeman Moore, 56, of Enid, died Tuesday, May 16, 2006, at his home. He was born Sept. 10, 1949, to Joe Freeman and Winona Ann (Ward) Moore in Ada. He graduated from Enid High School. He served in the U.S. Marines in Vietnam.
He is survived by his father, Freeman Moore of Enid; his son, Luke Moore of Bristow, Okla.; brothers, Jerry Moore of Enid, Randy Moore of Austin, Texas, and Charlie Moore of Florence, Texas; one sister, Joanne Moore of Enid; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
There will be no service. There will be a visitation until 3 p.m. today. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3 p.m. today, May 19, 2006. Cremation will follow. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
The following was requested by Murl to be put in his obituary:
The day will come when my body will lie upon a white sheet neatly tucked under four corners of a mattress located in a hospital busily occupied with the living and the dying. At a certain moment, a doctor will determine that my brain has ceased to function and that for all intents and purposes, my life has stopped.
When that happens, do not attempt to instill artificial life into my body by the use of a machine. And don’t call this my deathbed. Let it be the Bed of Life, and let my body be taken from it to help others lead fuller lives.
Give my sight to the man who has never seen a sunrise, a baby’s face or love in the eyes of a woman.
Give my heart to a person whose own heart has caused nothing but endless days of pain.
Give my blood to the teenager who was pulled from the wreckage of his car, so that he might live to see his grandchildren play.
Give my kidneys to the one who depends on a machine to exist from week to week.
Take my bones, every muscle, every fiber and nerve in my body, and find a way to make a crippled child walk.
Explore every corner of my brain.
Take my cells, if necessary, and let them grow so that some day a speechless boy will shout at the crack of a bat and a deaf girl will hear the sound of rain against her window.
Burn what is left of me, and scatter the ashes to the winds to help the flowers grow.
If you must bury something, let it be my faults, my weaknesses and all the prejudice against my fellow man.
Give my sins to the devil. Give my soul to God.
If by chance, you wish to remember me, do it with a kind deed or work to someone who needs it. If you do all I have asked, I will live forever.”

VIRGINIA SUE ENTRIKEN
A graveside service for Virginia Sue Entriken, 89, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2006, in Memorial Park Cem-etery. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Satur-day, May 20, at First Presbyter-ian Church with the Rev. Matthew D. Henderson officiating. Services are under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
Virginia Sue Entriken was born in Billings, Okla., on Nov. 2, 1916, the daughter of Harry and Kate Herman and died Wednesday, May 17, 2006.
Her mother died in 1918, and she and her brother were raised by their father and beloved grandmother, Edith Tapp. The family moved to Enid when she was a teenager and she graduated from Enid High School in 1934. She graduated from Enid Business College and worked for Eason Oil Co., located in the Bass Building. Her future husband, Fred Entriken, who also had an office in the Bass Building, offered her a ride home during a dust storm. They began their courtship and were married on May 8, 1940.
Virginia was a loving wife, mother, and friend who always put others before herself. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, past president of Chapter DO, PEO, and a member of the “Thursday Club” (which began as a sewing club in the late 1930s). This group of ladies took many trips together and until a few years ago had lunch together once a week. Virginia Sue loved reading, listening to music, playing bridge, cooking and writing poetry and short stories for family and friends. She loved this country and was very patriotic. She had a great sense of humor and never took herself too seriously.
Virginia Sue is survived by her children and their spouses: Susan and Robert Renz of Spokane, Wash.; Fred Dea and Nancy Entriken and Sallie and George Asplund of Enid, Okla.; one granddaughter, Laura Virginia Renz of Spokane, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fred in 1994, a brother J.H. Herman in 1994, and a grandson Thomas Lee Renz in 1965.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church or Ross Hospice with Henninger-Allen acting as custodian of the funds.

DARELL BECKNER
Funeral services for Darell Beckner, 74, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at United Church of Christ at Drummond. The Revs. Danny Marney and Bud Ruggia will officiate. His re-mains will be cremated at a later date per his request. Arrange-ments are under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
Darell was born Jan. 27, 1932, near Drummond to Lawrence C. and Melva Downs Beckner and passed away at his home Tuesday, May 16, 2006.
Darell graduated from Drummond High School. On Aug. 1, 1951, he married the former Barbara Helterbrand. The couple lived on a farm and operated a custom harvesting business south of Drummond. Darrell enjoyed fishing and attending his grandchildren’s activities.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara of the home; one son, Rox Beckner and his wife, Michelle of Hennessey; two sisters, Leta Rae Smith and her husband, Bill of Enid, Sharon Hennigh and her husband, Don of Hennessey; three grandchildren, Tanner and Tessa Beckner of Hennessey, Katie Barrett and her husband, Shannon of Tulsa; and one great-granddaughter, Avery Barrett of Tulsa.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love or Drummond Fire Department with Henninger-Allen Funeral Home acting as custodian of the fund.

WILLIE ‘BILL’ HEINRICH
The funeral for Willie “Bill” Heinrich, 91, will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2006, at Henninger-Allen Chapel. The Rev. Gay Cocheres will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Ross Hospice of Enid with Henninger-Allen acting as custodian of the funds.

DOROTHY ARLINE WOOD
A graveside service for Dorothy Arline Wood, 91, will be 1 p.m Saturday in Rosemound Cemetery, Medford. Arrange-ments are by Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center, Kan. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
She was born Dec. 1, 1914, in Medford to Walter and Anna Waldie and died Tuesday, May 16, 2006.
She graduated from Medford High School in 1933.
She married John R. Wood Dec. 24, 1933. They managed Fuss Grocery Store in Pond Creek for 19 years. She later owned and operated Curve Café in Pond Creek for five years. In 1957, they moved to Wichita, Kan., where she worked for Pierce’s Supermarket until she retired.
Surviving are one son, Richard L. Wood of Phoenix; two daughters, Linda Holle of Valley Center and Barbara Davis of Pratt, Kan.; 23 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

VERNA MAE HOFFMAN
The funeral for Verna Mae Hoffman, 68, will be 2 p.m Friday, at Canton Christian Church. Steve Driskill and Frank Mitchell will officiate. Burial will be in Canton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Haigler Funeral Home, Canton.
She was born Feb. 16, 1938, in Eagle City to Athel and Inez Owings Evans and died Monday, May 15, 2006, in Okeene.
She grew up and attended school in Eagle City, graduating from Eagle City High School.
She married Wayne Hoffman Dec. 3, 1954, in Fairview. They made their home in Canton until she moved to Hitchcock in 1998, following the death of her husband.
She was a member of Canton Christian Church and United Methodist Women, Hitchcock.
Surviving are three daughters, Lynae Chaloupek of Hitchcock, and Kay Winters and Kris Winter, both of Loyal; one son, Russell of Byron; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

HAZEL HENRIETTA BOLENBAUGH
The funeral for Hazel Henrietta Bolenbaugh, 94, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Shorty Unruh will officiate. Burial will be in Me-morial Park Cem-etery.
She was born July 1, 1911, in Bison to Albert Henry and Barbara Rebecca Jaide Schlottog and died Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at Golden Oaks Retire-ment Village.
She graduated from Enid High School and attended Oklahoma State University and Phillips University, where she earned a teaching degree.
She married Donald O. Bolenbaugh Dec. 25, 1936. They made their home in Cedarville, Kan. In 1937, they moved to Carrier where they owned and operated a dairy farm. She was a member of Carrier Congregational Church and taught school in Victor, Skedee and later at Emerson Junior High School, where she taught math and business. They retired in 1982 and moved to Enid where they attended Oakwood Christian Church and Enid Bible Church.
Surviving are two sons, Ken O. Bolenbaugh and Neil Bolenbaugh, both of Enid; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, and one brother.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Carrier Community Church or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.

DARRELL BECKNER

A private family service for Ethan Andrew Curry, 4, of Canton, will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Haigler Funeral Home Inc., Canton
He was born Oct. 31, 2001, in Fairview to Candice Curry and died Monday, May 15, 2006, at his home in Canton.
He lived in Canton since his birth.
Surviving are his mother, Candice Curry and stepfather, James Sears, of the home; two sisters, Brook-Lynn Curry and Rylei Sears, both of Canton; grandparents, Jewel and Clarence Franks of Canton and Brenda and Harold Sears; great-grandparents, Thomas Curry of Springfield, Mass., and Lois Perry of Hartford, Conn.
