REBA McGILL
The funeral for Reba McGill, 94, of Yukon, formerly of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Smith & Turner Mortuary chapel, Yukon. Burial will be 3 p.m. in Enid Ceme-tery, Enid.
She was born Sept. 30, 1913, in Oklahoma City and died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, in Yukon.
She lived most of her life in the Enid area before moving to Yukon six years ago. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Enid, Enid Art Club and Garden Club.
Surviving are her two daughters, Joann Oberlender and Judy George, both of Yukon; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Newton.

FRANCES ‘ARMINDA’ WALLACE
Funeral services for Frances “Arminda” Wallace, age 73, of Enid will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Don Tines officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Lad-usau-Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends today from 5:30-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arminda was born December 10, 1934, in Ponca City, OK to Albert “Bus” and Violet Rice Dowler and passed away Saturday morning February 9, 2008, at the Kenwood Manor.
She attended and graduated from Enid High School. She married Max Richard Wallace on June 25, 1954, in Enid and he passed away September 2, 1998. Arminda worked as an operator and office help for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, retiring after 33 years. She was a member of the Pioneers.
She is survived by her two daughters, Denise Rexroat and her husband Keith, of Ringwood, OK and Robin Harney and her husband Michael, of Prairie Grove, AR; two brothers, Glen Dowler, of Tulsa, and Bud Dowler, of Wichita, KS; six grandchildren, Matthew and Andrea Rexroat, Joshua and Meagan Harney, Tanner and Emily Wallace; three great-grandchildren, Abigail Rexroat, Brandon Hinton, and Trystan Newberry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Max, and son, Richard Wallace.
Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, heart division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the fund.

LEILA E. MOTT
A graveside service for Leila E. Mott, 87, of Wichita, Kan., formerly of Munford, Tenn., will be 11 a.m. Monday in Persimmon Cemetery west of Mutual. Arrangements are by Billings Funeral Home, Woodward.
She was born Sept. 27, 1920, in Mutual to Willis and Effie Mae Matthews Jordan and died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at Covington Care Center, Covington, Tenn.
She went with her sister at age 6 to live in Western Oklahoma Orphanage, Helena. They lived there for six years before returning to Woodward. At age 19 she moved to Wichita where she was a hospital worker. During World War II she drove a city bus in Wichita.
Surviving are one son, Darold E. Cooper, of Munford; one sister, Ruby Henderson, of Denver; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.

RUBY D. LOUCKS
The funeral for Ruby Darline Loucks, 73, of Wood-ward, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Nichols-Zwanziger Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Ames will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born June 14, 1934, at Sterling, Kan., to John Cruth and Mary Freeman and died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, at Woodward Regional Hospital, Woodward.
She attended Sterling public schools. She married Bill Louck July 6, 1954, in Hutchinson, Kan. He died in 2005.
Surviving are two sons, Billy J. Loucks of Moore and John F. Loucks of Edmond; three daughters, Wanda Williams and Sandra Olson, both of Woodward, and Vine Clark of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, Bob Cruth of Sterling and John Cruth of Hutchinson; two sisters, Mary Lou Valintin of Sterling and Edith Capps of Attica, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Bill, she was preceded in death by three brothers.

SYLVESTER LEE ‘HACK’ HACKWORTH
The funeral for Sylvester Lee “Hack” Hackworth, 88, of Enid, will be 2:30 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church. The Rev. David Wiggs will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cem-etery. Ar-rangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
He was born March 26, 1919, in Valliant to S.V. and Ara Lee Clayton Hackworth and died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
He attended school in Valliant through junior high when his family moved to Stillwater where he attended high school. He attended Southeastern College at Durant. He married Mildred Drucilla Reed Jan. 23, 1942. He joined the Army Medical Corps in July 1942, and first served as a combat medic during the landings on Kishka to retake the Aleutian Islands. He retrained as a surgical assistant for an Army surgical hospital and was assigned to the 30th Field Hospital during the Normandy Invasion. He served in Gen. Patton’s third Army across France, Luxembourg, Germany and Austria. After his discharge in 1945, he worked for a Maytag appliance store near Pauls Valley. During the 1950s he was a salesman for Shawnee Feeds in Shawnee, a roughneck in the oil fields and a route milkman for Meadow Gold Dairy, Oklahoma City. He moved to Enid and worked as a photographer at Marquis Studio. He then started Monarch Studio in Enid. He sold the business in the late 1970s and retired. He was a Mason more than 65 years.
Surviving are his wife, Drucilla; two sons, S.L. Hackworth and Robert Reed Hackworth, both of Talequah; one daughter, Linda Drucilla Snow of Fairview; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or Masonic Lodge.

OTHO JUNIOR JAMES
A funeral service for Otho Junior James, 86, will be 10 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2008, at Central Assembly of God Church with Pastor Kevin Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cem-etery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Otho was born January 3, 1922, in Bartlesville, OK to William O. and Myrtle James and died Wednesday, February 6, 2008, in Enid.
He attended grade school in Bartlesville until age nine, when the family moved to Norman. He graduated from Norman High School and attended the University of Oklahoma until he was called to serve in World War II. He married Virginia M. Goodwin in July 1940. To this union two children were born, Charles Otho and Debra Kay. After the war he returned to the University of Oklahoma graduating with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. The family moved to Enid in 1950, where he worked for Bert Smith Road Machinery Co. for 28 years as assistant secretary treasurer and senior accountant. He later co-owned J.T. Truck Parts. After retiring, he stayed busy at his accounting and tax preparation home business.
During World War II he served in the Army Field Artillery, Army Ground Forces and was stationed in Pennsylvania and Fort Bragg, N.C. He received his Army Reserve Commission in 1948, at ROTC at OU. Otho was the commanding officer of the Enid Quartermaster Co. when discharged in July 1961, with the rank of captain.
As a member of Central Assembly of God Church for 58 years, he served as deacon and church treasurer for 35 years. He taught adult Sunday school class, assisted with Royal Rangers and was on several building committees.
Otho is survived by Virginia, his wife of 67 years; son, Charles and his wife Marvella of Newton, KS; daughter, Debbie DeWitt and her husband Randy of Enid; six grandchildren, Charles James, Jr. and his wife Becky L. of Pinckney, MI, Becky James of Nebraska City, NE, Tim James of Olathe, KS, Ron James and his wife Alisa of Manhattan, KS, Tara Batterman and her husband Barry of Enid, and Kari Clark and her husband Jeremy of Okinawa, Japan; four great-grandchildren, Hollyann Noyes, Makenzie Clark, Amberly Clark and Logan James; one brother, Vern James, of Tulsa, OK; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Ralph and Clem James and one sister, Dolores Edenborough.
Otho was a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa and friend. He was a help to many people, always gracious to lend a guiding hand.
Memorials may be made to Central Assembly of God, Otho James memorial fund.

PAUL M. MARKER
The funeral for Paul M. Marker, 83, of Perry, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church, Perry. The Rev. Roger Dunn will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry. Ar-rangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
He was born Oct. 14, 1924, at Wintersville, Ohio, to Paul F. and Alice Marker and died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, at Perry Memorial Hospital.
He served in the Army during World War II. Prior to retirement, he worked in law enforcement as a deputy sheriff and had been a heavy equipment operator. He married Patricia Ann Elaine Marker Aug. 12, 1960. She died Dec. 11, 2003.
Surviving are two sons, James Jerome “Jimmy” Marker of Perry and Dwight McDonough of Byhalia, Miss.; eight daughters, Michelle Ann Reeves, Paula Denise Marker, Victoria Shareen Emmons, Tamara Dionne McNabb, Shannon Eileen Marker, Laurie Lee Marker and Christine Lynn Marker, all of Perry, and Cheryl Sailing of Ohio; two sisters, Evelyn Finley and Ruth Rauschenbach, both of Ohio; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Patricia, he was preceded in death by one grandson.

MILDRED FLORENCE MYERS
A prayer vigil for Mildred Florence Myers, 69, of Medford will be 6 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Medford. Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Monday at the church. The Revs. Mike Wheelahan and Jerome Spexarth will officiate. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery, Medford. Arrange-ments are by Hills-Ely Funeral Home, Medford.
She was born Oct. 16, 1938, in Colwich, Kan., to Robert N. and Mary Therese Mohr Martin and died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, in Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, Enid.
She attended St. Marks Elementary School and graduated from Andale High School. She married Edwin F. “Ben” Myers Nov. 24, 1990. They made their home in Medford. He died Aug. 6, 2006. She was a homemaker, nurse aide and medication aide. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Altar Society.
Surviving are two brothers, Robert Martin of Wichita, Kan., and Adrian Martin of Goddard, Kan.; six sisters, Bernadette Sanders and Theresa Sanders, both of Wichita, Mary Ann Freund of Goddard, Barbara Spexarth of Colwich, Sylvia Seiler of Grand Junction, Colo., and Carol Schauf of Grapevine, Texas; one stepson, Dennis Myers of Las Cruces, N.M.; and one stepgranddaughter.
In addition to her husband, Ben, she was preceded in death by one brother.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home, P.O. Box 280, Medford, OK 73759, to St. Mary Catholic Church Building Fund.

OTHO JAMES
The funeral for Otho Junior James, 86, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Central Assembly of God Church. Kevin Ward, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be 5-6:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
He was born Jan. 3, 1922, in Bartlesville to William O. and Myrtle James and died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, at Golden Oaks Nursing Home.
He attended Bartlesville Elementary School until the family moved to Norman. FLOSSIE MITTASCH
The funeral for Flossie Mittasch, 92, of Perry will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Morrison Christian Church, Morrison. Roy Fleshman, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Sumner Cemetery. Arrange-ments are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
She was born Dec. 15, 1915, in Perry to Levi H. and Edna Naomi Slaven Kaup and died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, in Blackwell.
She married Grover C. Mittasch Jr. April 22, 1939, at Eureka Springs, Ark. She was a member of Sumner Christian Church until it disbanded then became a member of Morrison Christian Church. She was also a member of Sumner Home Demonstration Club and served more than 50 years on Auburn Township and Sumner election boards and was a Noble County Election Board volunteer.
Surviving are her daughter, Janice Hansen of Perry; two sons, Bob Mittasch of Newkirk and Kenneth Mittasch of Pawnee; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Grover, she was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077, to s charity of choice.
