RAYMOND CLYDE PHILLIPS
The funeral for Raymond Clyde Phillips, 83, of Waynoka, will be 2 p.m. today at Waynoka Church of God. Pastor John Brint will officiate. Burial will be in Waynoka Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home, Waynoka LLC.
He was born Dec. 31, 1924, in Waynoka to Frank and Edith Duncan Phillips and died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.
He attended Waynoka schools. At age 17, he enlisted in the Navy where he served two years and nine months until his medical discharge.
He married LaEtta Rose Morris June 28, 1952, in Medicine Lodge, Kan., where he worked for the railroad, 14 years for National Gypsum Co., and as a custodian at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. He returned to Waynoka in 1974 and was a member of Waynoka Church of God.
Surviving are his wife, LaEtta, of Waynoka; two sons, Delbert Phillips of St. Louis, Mo., and Verl Phillips of Waynoka; one daughter, Victoria Rose Borio of Owasso; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Waynoka Church of God.

DARRELL PHILLIPS
A graveside service for Darrell Phillips, 36, of Cushing, will be 2 p.m. Friday in Fairlawn Cemetery, Cushing. Arrangements are by Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
He was born Sept. 25, 1971, in Dexter, Mo., to James H. and Rhonda Gray Phillips and died Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, in Wheeler, Texas.
He married Tonya Gosnell March 14, 1994, in Seminole, Texas. They moved to Cushing from Drumright four years ago. He worked for Cudd Pumping Service. They also lived in Enid, where he worked for Haliburton.
Surviving are his wife, Tonya; two sons, Austin and Darrell Shane; one sister, Jacquie Gwen; and his father, James Phillips.
He was preceded in death by his mother, one son and a brother.

ISABELLA ROBINSON DORBANDT
A memorial service for Isabella Robinson Dorbandt, 81, of Woodward, will be held at a later date in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Oklahoma City. Arrangements are by Billings Funeral home, Woodward.
She was born Jan. 6, 1926, in Oklahoma City to Harry and Hazel Kendrick Gaunt and died Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, at her home in Woodward.
She was a graduate of Capitol Hill High School, Oklahoma City. She graduated from St. Anthony Cadet Nurse Corps program as a registered nurse in 1947.
She married E.W. “Dub” Robinson June 12, 1948, in Oklahoma City, where they made their home.
Following the death of her husband, she married Robert Dorbandt in 1970. They made their home in Las Cruces, N.M. She worked as a registered nurse and sang with the Oklahoma City Sweet Adelines.
Surviving are one daughter, Marsha Hoock of Woodward; five stepchildren, Robert Dorbandt II of New Mexico, Dee Miller of Hawaii, Larry Dorbandt, Edward Dorbandt of Las Cruces, and Debbie Burch of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Glen Swenson of Edmond and Rex Gaunt of Apple Valley, Calif.; one sister, Elwyenna Woelke of Enid; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Dub and Robert, two brothers and two sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the children and youth ministry of First United Methodist Church, Wood-ward.

JERRY ‘TEX’ DIXON
The funeral for Jerry “Tex” Dixon, 82, of Kiowa, Kan., will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Southern Baptist Church, Kiowa. Pastor Ken Bowden will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Kiowa. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
He was born April 6, 1925, in Hamlin, Ark., to George and Edna McClanahan Dixon and died Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, in Anthony, Kan.
He attended school through the seventh grade. He worked in various occupations including carpentry, harvesting, on a shrimp boat, farm, and for the city of Kiowa.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia, of Kiowa; one daughter, Jerry McNeal of Kiowa; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother and one sister.

PENNY L. ROSS MCVICKER
A memorial service for Penny L. Ross McVicker, 63, of Colville, Wash., formerly of Enid, will be held in the spring at Grace Harvest Church, on a date to be announced. Arrangements are by Danekas Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Colville.
She was born May 26, 1944, in Fort Benton, Mont., to Kenneth and Mary E. Vegoren and died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at her home in Colville.
She was raised and attended school in Geraldine, Mont., before moving to Enid in 1968. She worked at Adair’s Cleaners since 1970, purchasing it in 1992. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
Surviving are one brother, Kenny Ray of Colorado Springs, Colo., and two sisters, Francis Swensgard of Montana and Judi Holmquist of Colville.
She was preceded in death by one brother.

AGNES M. PETRU
Mass of Christian Burial for Agnes Marie Pospisil Petru, 83, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. The Rev. Larry Kowalski will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Hennessey. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
She was born May 25, 1924, west of Bison to Pete Frank and Mary Fuksa Pospisil and died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at Highland Park Nursing Home.
She grew up in the Bison community and attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School.
She married Stanley Anton Petru March 7, 1944, in Bison. They farmed near Hennessey and she worked at various jobs including Hennessey Seed, Wilmes, Dillards and Newmans. Following his death in 1981, she moved to Enid. She was a foster grandparent for Enid Public Schools and a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.
Surviving are one son, Barry L. Petru of Goddard, Kan.; one daughter, Helen L. Hampton of Enid; one brother, Frank M. Pospisil of Hennessey; two sisters, Georgianna Gungoll of Enid and Alice Merrit of Fort Worth, Texas; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Stanley, she was preceded in death by her twin sister.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love.

ROBERT LEROY MANNING
A memorial service for Robert Leroy Manning, 74, will be 2 p.m. today at First Wesleyan Church, Bartlesville. Arrangements are by Stumpff Funeral Homes & Crematory, Bartlesville.
He was born March 14, 1933, in Jet to Basil O. and Twyla M. Burnham Manning and died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at Heritage Villa Nursing Center, Bartlesville, following a battle with Alz-heimer’s disease.
He was a graduate of Jet High School and served in the Army in 1959, stationed on bases in New Jersey and South Carolina.
He married Rose Mary Cushenberry Dec. 12, 1959, in Drumright. He worked for Meadow Gold Milk and also worked in the oilfield and insurance areas. They moved to Barnsdall, where he owned and operated Beltone Hearing Aid in Barnsdall, Woodward and Bartlesville. They returned to Bartlesville in 1987, where he retired.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Rose Mary; two sons, Gene of Chattanooga and Stanley of Lawton; three daughters, Dorthy Underwood of Lawton, Janice Javine of Barnsdall, and April Manning of Owasso; one sister, Connie Manning Haunschild of Winfield, Kan; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son.
Memorials may be made to Conerstone Hospice of Bartlesville.

IRVIN DON HOPPER
A memorial service for Irvin Don Hopper, 75, of Alva, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Marshall Funeral Home, Alva. He was cremated at his request.
He was born March 27, 1932, in Joy, Ark., to Lloyd Glen and Willie Irene Moore Hopper and died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2008, at his home in Alva.
He enlisted in the Army in 1949, serving 11 years. He served two tours of duty in Korea during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany and numerous U.S. bases.
He was a truck driver for Dolese Brothers in Wichita, Kan., until he retired. He moved to Alva in 2001. He was active in the Woods County Senior Citizens Center.
Surviving are two sisters, Nona Fox of Alva and Brenda Rogers of Moncks Corner, S.C.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to American Heart Association, Diabetes Foundation, or Woods County Senior Citizen’s Center.

BRANDAN PERKINS
The funeral for Brandan Perkins, 20, of Aline/Fairview, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church, Aline. Polly Young will officiate. Burial will be in Aline Star Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Helena. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. and prior the service at the church on Wednesday.
He was born March 2, 1987, to Deborah Perkins Hedrick and died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
He graduated from Fairview High School and completed welding school in Tulsa. He had recently moved to Lahoma,where he worked for Pioneer Equipment Rental. He attended First Christian Church of Aline.
Surviving are one son, Keegen Trent; his mother, Deborah Hedrick of Aline; and one brother, Rob Sims of Aline.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to his son’s education fund.

ALBERT JUNIOR VOGEL
The funeral for Albert Junior Vogel, 88, of Kiowa, Kan., will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church, Kiowa. Pastor Wayne Stephens will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Kiowa. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born March 26, 1919, on the family farm in Alfalfa County to Albert and Elizabeth Gillig Vogel and died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita, Kan.
He attended Kiowa schools. Following graduation he joined the Army cavalry and later joined the Army medical corps, serving in Guam for four years. Following the war, he became a plumber in Denver, retiring to Kiowa.
Surviving are one sister, Virginia Scott of Kiowa.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Kiowa Historical Society or United Methodist Church.
