Mary V. McDonald
Mary V. McDonald, 81, of Lemoyne, PA, died Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at The Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg.
She was a registered nurse for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Dept. of Utilization Review; a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland; a member of local bridge clubs in the area; and an avid Phillies Fan.
She was born April 2, 1920, in Indiana, PA, to the late Dominic J. and Martha (Bataglia) LaMantia.
She was the widow of Thomas J. McDonald. A son, Thomas A. McDonald and a daughter survive her in law, Janet McDonald, Lakeland, FL; and a daughter, Patricia McDonald O'Brien and a son-in-law, Patrick M. O'Brien, Elkins Park, PA; and nieces.
Scripture services will be held 10:00am Friday in her church with the Rev. Michael C. Letteer officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp.
Visitation will be 6-8pm Thursday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church, 1300 Bridge St., New Cumberland, PA 17070.

Raymond E. Miller
Raymond E. Miller, 79, of Camp Hill, died Thursday, February 7, 2002 at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He was a WWII Marine Veteran. He was a Truck Salesman for Motor Truck Equipment Co., Carlisle. He was a 1938 Graduate of the former Wiconisco High School. He was a member of United Methodist Church of West Fairview; American Legion Post 143 and VFW Post 7415, both of New Cumberland; he was also a member of West Shore Lodge #681, F&AM, Camp Hill, PA; Harrisburg Consistory; and Tall Cedars of Lebanon, No. 43; and Patrick William Milano Detachment Marine Corp League, New Cumberland.
He was born April 24, 1922 in Lykens to the late John E. and Sara V. (Scheib) Miller.
His wife, Connie Jones Miller; two sons, John E. of Tacoma, WA and Raymond E. of Lakeland, FL; a stepdaughter, Atha Scott of Sarasota, FL; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a great great grandson survive him.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Monday at his church. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Viewings will be from 6 to 8pm Sunday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland and 9:30 to 10:45am Monday at the church.

Ihoko K. Mott
Ihoko K. Mott, 68, of Lemoyne, PA and formerly of Princeton, NJ died Sunday February 3, 2002 in her residence.
She was a retired Occupational Therapist for the Bucks County Intermediate Unit and a volunteer for C.O.N.T.A.C.T, American Red Cross, Bethesda Mission and Harrisburg Hospital, all in the Harrisburg, PA area. She was a member of Camp Hill United Methodist Church, Camp Hill, PA. She was born 8/21/1933 in Kauai, HI. She was the widow of Mackie D. Mott and is survived by 2 daughters, Linde S. Mickle of GA and Glenna A. Marino of Mechanicsburg, PA; a sister, 2 brothers, and 4 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son Thomas M. Mott.
Services will be held 11 am Thursday 2/7/2002 in her church with the Rev. Dennis Keller, her pastor officiating. Burial will be 11 am Friday 2/8/2002 in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp., PA.
Viewing will be from 10am until time of service Thursday in the church.

Charles L. Mueller
Charles L. Mueller, 86, of Harrisburg, Lower Paxton Twp., died Saturday, January 26, 2002 at his home.
He was retired as Head of Engineering from TRW. At TRW, he was a pioneer in the "Star Wars" Laser Technology development and also served as Head of Advanced Manufacturing Technology. After retirement he was a consultant with Exxon Enterprises. He was a member of St. Michael Evangelical Lutheran Church, Harrisburg; Susquehanna Ski Club; the Sixty Plus, Seventy Plus, and Eighty Plus Ski Clubs; and a life long member of Penn State University Alumni Association. He was an avid downhill skier, golfer, and bowler.
He was born February 4, 1915 in Harrisburg to the late William Paul and Bertha (Longfeldt) Mueller.
He was the widower of Jane Radics Mueller. He is survived by two daughters, Lynn A. Mueller of Harrisburg and Barbara J. Lambert of Avalon, NJ; a sister, Mildred M. Roth of Harrisburg; and son-in-law, James Lambert of Avalon, NJ.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Tuesday at his church with his Pastor, The Rev. Russell H. Mueller Officiating. Burial will be in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin.
Visitation will be from 10 to 10:45am Tuesday at the church.

Gerald Lee Muth
Gerald Lee Muth, 56, of Camp Hill died Sunday, February 10, 2002 in Lebanon Regional VA Medical Center.
He was a bar tender for Harry's Tavern and Garrison's Tavern, both of Harrisburg and the Mechanicsburg Men's Club Mechanicsburg. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran. He was a member of PA Antique Arms Association; Boas St. Corvette Club; Porsche Club of America; B.P.O. Elks Lodge #12, Harrisburg; William Penn Club; and a life member of both the National Rifle Association and the Harrisburg Hunters and Anglers.
He was born 12/20/1945 in St. Meinard, IN to the late Leo H. Muth and Esther (Niehaus) Muth.
In addition to his mother he is survived by a son Adam Charles Muth of Hanover; a sister Mary Kay Lindborg of Chicago, IL; 5 brothers, Richard, Donald, Stanley, Kenneth and Kirt, all of Indiana.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 am Thursday 2/14/2002 in St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland with the Rev. Michael Letteer as celebrant. Burial with military honors will be in 1:30 pm Thursday in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
Viewing will be from 9-11am Thursday in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
A Celebration of Life will be held 3-6 pm Sunday 2/17/02 in Carnahan's Restaurant, Third St. New Cumberland.
Memorial contributions may be made to Annunciation B.V.M. Church Restoration Project, 26 N. Third St. McSherrystown, PA 17344 in his memory or in honor of his son Adam.

Emily Hooper Payne
Emily Hooper Payne, 90, of Lower Allen Twp., Camp Hill, PA died Thursday, February 14, 2001 in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was a graduate of Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY and taught school in Plymouth, PA. She was an artist and belonged to the Art Center in Mechanicsburg, The Art Association of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Watercolor Society and Capucine Painters, Pinnacle Health Auxiliary, Charter Member of New Cumberland Womens Club, 50 year member of Baughman Memorial Methodist Church, New Cumberland, Dauphin Co. Medical Auxiliary.
She was born May 8, 1911 in Plymouth, Luzerne County, PA to the late George W. and Ora (Harrison) Roberts.
In addition to her parents, her first Husband, Dr. Fred B. Hooper, Sr, also predeceased her. She is survived by her husband, W. Purnell Payne; two sons, Joseph R. Hooper, MD of Port St. Joe, FA and Fred B. Hooper, DO of Harrisburg; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11am Monday, February 18th, 2002 in her church. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.

Florence A. K. Rabena
Florence Amelia Keefer Rabena, 81, of New Cumberland, died Tuesday, January 1, 2002, at Dauphin Manor, Harrisburg.
She was a retired book keeper and office manager for Rabena's Wardrobe Service, New Cumberland; a 1938 graduate of Reading High School, Reading; a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, New Cumberland; a past matron of the Order of Eastern Star, Capital City Chapter 146, Harrisburg; Daughters of the Nile, Ozemb Temple # 52, Harrisburg; New Cumberland Fire Dept. Auxiliary, New Cumberland; and the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 143, New Cumberland.
She was born March 14, 1920, in Northumberland, PA, to the late Charles and Martha C. (Tuckmantel) Keefer.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Rabena; a son, Ronald A. Rabena, Mt. Union; a daughter, Jacqueline May Rabena Ball, Fairview Twp.; two grandsons, David A. and Neil D. Ball.
Funeral services will be held 11am Saturday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with the Revs. Carl Ford Peterson and Robert Germond, her pastors, officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Visitation will be 10-11am Sat. in the funeral home.
