Margaret West Cornish, 74, of Lower Allen Twp and formerly of New Cumberland, PA and Brooklyn, NY died Friday, July 12, 2002, at her residence.
She was a former dental assistant for Dr. Dice and Dr. McCracken, Harrisburg and Dr. Sheaffer, Lemoyne; a pre-school teacher for Baughman Nursery School, and former children's choir director for Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, New Cumberland; former organist and choir director in Enola. She was a graduate of Baldwin High School (NY) and attended Mary Washington College, Fredricksburg, VA. She was a former piano teacher and taught Sunday School for over 60 years. She was a member of Christian Life Assembly, Lower Allen Twp.; past president of the local dental assistant association and past president of American Legion Post 751 Ladies' Auxiliary, Enola.
She was born 11/5/27 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Frederick P. and Julia (Cave) West.
She was the widow of Donald B. Cornish, Sr. and was preceded in death by a daughter Claudia Hammond Richards.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Joanne Hammond Wenger of Pasadena, MD and Sandra Hammond Gainor of Harrisburg; a son Donald B. Cornish, Jr. of Camp Hill; a brother Frederick West of Newport News, VA; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held 2 pm Monday in her church.
Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
Visitation will be from 1pm until time of service Monday in the church.

Francis E. Dodge
Frances E. Dodge, 88, of Lower Allen Twp., Camp Hill, PA, died Friday, July 5, 2002 at home.
She was a former legal secretary in the Reading, Berks County Area; a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland; National Council of Catholic Women; a former choir member at the Sacred Heart Of Jesus Catholic Church in Terre Haute, IN.
She was born 4-25-1914 in Groton, NY, to the late Michael F. and Elizabeth (Mahoney) Kean.
She was the widow of Richard H. Dodge. Three daughters, Sharon D. Boyer of Lemoyne, Mary E. Peters of South Lake Tahoe, CA, and Kathleen J. Garrett of Camp Hill; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grand children, survive her.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am Monday, July 15, 2002, at her church with Rev. Msgr. William M. Richardson as celebrant.
Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Visitation will be 9-10 am Monday, July 15, 2002 at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland.
Daughters of Mrs. Dodge will also be receiving family and friends following the burial.

William J. Feeley
William J. Feeley, 82, of West Shore Health and Rehabilitation Center, Camp Hill, and formerly of New Cumberland, died Sunday, June 8, 2002 at the center.
He was a WWII Veteran having served in the China-Burma-India Theater. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Cumberland.
He was born June 22, 1919 in Windber to the late Jack and Olive (Maeder) Feeley.
He is survived by a niece, Nancie F. Weaver and an Aunt Kathryn M. Frazier both of New Holland.
Graveside services will be held at 9:30am Monday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
There will be no viewing. Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland has charge of arrangements.

Clarence E. Frischkorn
Clarence E. "Fishie" Frischkorn, 71, of Etters, Fairview Twp., died Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born August 30, 1930 to the late Clarence and Mae Stetler Frischkorn.
Clarence was a retired contractor in the area and was a member of Fishing Creek Salem United Methodist Church, Etters and the New Cumberland Fish and Boat Club. He was an avid fisherman and football fan and loved attending all of his grandchildren's sports and school activities.
Surviving are his wife, Theda Firestone Frischkorn; a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Monica of Stockton, CA; his second son and daughter-in-law, David and Kim of Etters; a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Dave Lechthaler of Etters; a granddaughter, Shelley Lechthaler of Mechanicsburg; two granddaughters, Emily and Erika Frischkorn of Etters, a grandson, Derek Lechthaler of Etters; two sisters, Esther Williams and Nancy Peck of New Cumberland; sister-in-law, Peggy Frischkorn of Stamford, CT; sister-in-law, Esther Eichelberger of Harrisburg; and several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Frischkorn. He shared his life with relatives, neighbors and many friends. Theda and Clarence celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on February 5, 2002.
Funeral services will be held at 10am Saturday at his church.
Burial will be in the church Cemetery.
Viewings will be held from 6-8pm Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland and from 9-9:45am Saturday at the church.

Leonore E. Frizzi
Leonore E. Frizzi, 86, of New Cumberland, died Monday, July 15, 2002 at her home.
She was a retired Computer Data Entry Specialist at the former New Cumberland Army Depot; a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland, its Little Flower Club and was active in the BINGO kitchen of the church; a member of William H. Nauss American Legion Post 143, New Cumberland and its Women's Auxiliary; the St. Jude League; National Assoc. of Retired Federal Employees; and was an honorary member of Girls and Boys Town.
She was born June 23, 1916, in Adams County, to the late James B., Sr. and Stella M. (Lawrence) Devine.
She was the widow of Amadio Frizzi and was preceded in death by a son, Dennis P. Frizzi. Two brothers, Dennis C. Devine and Donald E. Devine, both of Mechanicsburg; three grandsons, Dennis P. Frizzi, Jr. of New Cumberland, Michael Frizzi of Lancaster, and Robert Frizzi of New Cumberland; five great grand children; several nieces and nephews, survive her.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11am Thursday in her church with the Rev. Tri Luong as celebrant.
Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Upper Allen Twp.
Viewing will be 9-10:30 am Thursday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.

John S. Hale
John S. Hale, 56, of Lititz, PA, died Tuesday, July 2, 2002, at home.
He was the Assistant Executive Vice President of Youth Advocate Programs, Inc., Harrisburg; he loved his family, friends, and neighbors; also, he enjoyed pleasure boating.
He was born June 19, 1946 in Harrisburg, PA, to the late Carroll W. (Jack) and Frances E. (Baurer) Hale.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis J. (Tarasi) Hale; his sister and brother-in-law, Carol M. and Gene Crawford, Baltimore, MD; a niece and her husband, Jenny F. and Rob McCormick, Bethesda, MD; and a nephew, Jason H. Crawford, Washington, D.C.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Friday at Baughman Memorial United Methodist Church, New Cumberland.
Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp.
Viewing will be 9 am until time of services at the church.

Sylvia N. Hawley
Sylvia N. Hawley, 84, of Newberry Township and formerly of Milford, CT died Wednesday 7/24/2002 in her residence after a brief illness.
Mrs. Hawley worked as a secretary for the former State National Bank in Bridgeport, CT and was a member of St. Andrew's Church, Devon, CT before moving to PA two years ago. She was a long tome volunteer for the Bridgeport (CT) Hospital and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Hawley traced the family heritage back to the pre-revolutionary war era in CT and was a member of the Hawley Family Society. She was an avid boater with her husband of more than 50 years, the late Floyd E. Hawley. Together with Floyd, she was a member of the Milford Power Squadron and enjoyed cruising the Long Island Sound with her family and friends. She was also active in her local garden club in CT.
She was born 8/22/17 in Bridgeport, CT to the late William & Blanche (Herring) Nevard.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Deborah W. Gallivan of Tucson, AZ, Victoria G. Zalatoris of Pardeeville, WI and Robin B. Hawley of Newberry Twp.; 2 grandsons, Paul Gallivan of Berkley, CA and Dr. Sean Gallivan of Buffalo, NY; and a great grandson, Max Gallivan.
A memorial service will be held Saturday 8/17/2002 in her church.
Burial will be in Cutler's Farm Rd. Cemetery, Monroe, CT.
A local visitation will be held 11 am Saturday 7/27/2002 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's local Humane Society or any other charity of choice.
