Richard Charles McCleaf
Richard Charles McCleaf, 79, of Lemoyne, died Sunday, June 15, 2003, at home.
He was a retired HVAC technician for Oberman Sheet Metal, Lemoyne; a former employee of the West Shore School District; and a deacon and member of Christ Community Church, Camp Hill.
Mr. McCleaf was born January 12, 1924, in Shippensburg, to the late Frank and Lula (Ott) McCleaf.
Surviving is his wife, Catherine G. Payne McCleaf; four sons, R. Shawn McCleaf, FL, William C. H. McCleaf, Georgetown, DE, R. Shane McCleaf, New Cumberland, and Andrew C. H. McCleaf, Lemoyne; a daughter, Heather A. McCleaf, Lemoyne; a sister, Hazel Beason, Newville; six grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Wed. at his church with the Pastors Bob Klinger and Steve Boyer officiating.
Burial will be in Tri-County Memorial Gardens, Fairview Twp.
Viewing will be 10-11 am Wed. in the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Christ Community Church Benevolence Fund, 1201 Slate Hill Road Camp Hill, PA 17011-8012.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.

Harry F. Miller
Harry F. Miller, 89, of Bethany Village, Lower Allen Twp. and formerly of New Cumberland, died Wednesday, May 21, 2003, at home.
Mr. Miller was a retired deputy director for the office of Planning and Management of the former Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot; an Army Veteran of WWII and the Army National Guard; a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, New Cumberland; National Assn. of Retired Federal Employees, chapter 1485; American Legion Post 143, New Cumberland; a former Sunday school teacher at St. Paul's and other area churches; and he had many hobbies including book collecting.
He was born September 19, 1913, in Corning, CA, to the late Harry H. and Katie (Freed) Miller.
His wife of 54 years, Kathryn E. Hoover Miller; two daughters, Jacqueline L. Miller, Atlanta, GA, and Patricia A. Peterson, Mechanicsburg; and two grandsons, Andrew B. Shearer and Peter F. Chamberlain, survive him
Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday in his church with Rev. Elaine M. Dent, his pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Harrisburg.
Visitation will be 10 - 11 AM Saturday in the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to his church, 524 Bridge St., New Cumberland, PA 17070 or to Bethany Village Care Assurance Fund, 325 Wesley Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.

Kimberly D. Nicholas Miller
Kimberly D. Nicholas Miller, 44, of Millersburg, PA, and formerly of Lemoyne, died Sunday, July 06, 2003, at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was a legal secretary for the law offices of Goldberg, Katzman, and Shipman, P.C., Harrisburg; she was a graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College with two Associates Degrees; a member of the 1977 graduating class of Cedar Cliff High School, Camp Hill; a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Lemoyne; attended Emmanuel Wesleyan Church, Gratz.
Mrs. Miller was born December 23, 1958, in Harrisburg, PA, to Robert L. and Sandra A. (Dysert) Nicholas of Lemoyne.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Neal R. Miller; a daughter, Tawney L. Miller; a brother and sister-in-law, John R. and Tammy J. Nicholas, Harrisburg; her paternal grandmother, Florence R. Nicholas, Harrisburg; two nephews, Matthew and Adam Nicholas; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 1 pm Wednesday in Emmanuel Wesleyan Church, Gratz, with the Revs. Tim Dotson and Byron K. Krapf, officiating.
Burial will be in Emmanuel Wesleyan Church Cemetery, Gratz.
Visitation will be held 6-8 pm Tuesday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, and also 11-1 pm Wednesday in the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Miller Memorial Educational Trust Fund, Care of Mid Penn Bank, 349 Union Street, Millersburg, PA 17061.

Mervin R. Miller
Mervin R. Miller, 82, of New Cumberland, died Wednesday, May 21, 2003 at Select Specialty Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He was retired as a Work Leader from the former New Cumberland Army Depot. He was an Army Veteran of WWII having served as a Medic in 14th Army Division, European Theater, 19th Battalion B Company. He received the Purple Heart, two Bronze Stars, the Good Conduct Medal, and the Combat Medical Badge. He was a member of VFW Post 7415 and American Legion Post 974 both of New Cumberland; Disabled American Veterans, West Shore Chapter 50, Military Order of the Purple Heart, York County Chapter 390, NARF, West Shore Chapter, AARP, West Shore Sportsmen's Association, and NRA. He was the President of Lenker Riverfront Association, Inc., Etters. He loved fishing and hunting.
He was born November 6, 1920 in Fairview Twp. to the late James I. and Esther L. (Anderson) Miller.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Norman J. Miller.
He is survived by his wife, Betty J. Sprenkle Miller; two sons, Dennis L and his wife Sally of Sacramento, CA and Ronald L. and his wife Joan of New Cumberland; six grandchildren, Pamela Turknett, Wendy Matulis and Jennifer Ponce of Sacramento, Gregory, Jean, and Elizabeth Miller of New Cumberland; eight great-grandchildren, Travis and Michael Turknett, Erika and Corey Sumiyoshi, Kyle Matulis, Jaycob, Carson, and Jason Ponce all of Sacramento.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Tuesday, May 27th at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland with his Pastor Lee E. Reed officiating.
Burial will be in Paddletown Cemetery, Newberry Twp.
Viewing will be from 9:30 to 11am Tuesday at the funeral home.

Vickie L. Minnich,
Vickie L. Minnich, 59, of New Cumberland, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, May 21, 2003, at Holy Spirit Hospital with her family by her side.
She was a graduate of William Penn High School and had worked as a secretary at the former Olmsted Air Force Base, Middletown, Army Recruiting Command, New Cumberland, from 1985 through 1996 for Big 33 where she currently served in a volunteer capacity. She had a love of birds, especially cardinals, enjoyed gardening, walking with her husband and vacationing in Arizona. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother.
She was born August 13, 1943 in Harrisburg to the late Victor and Dorothy (Isenberger) Mirilli.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Perry J. Mirilli.
She is survived by her husband Mickey; two sons, Michael A. and his wife, Nicole and daughter, Brooke, and Jason B. both of New Cumberland; a sister, Josephine L. Jones of New Cumberland, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm Friday at Christian Life Assembly, Camp Hill.
Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Fairview Twp.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:15pm Friday at the church.

Adelaide B. (Weaver) Moore
Adelaide B. (Weaver) Moore, 96, formerly of Lock Haven died Wednesday, June 25, 2003 in Manor Care, Camp Hill.
She was a member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Lock Haven.
She was born 10/6/06 in Lock Haven to the late Robert W. and Elizabeth (Dornkamper) Weaver.
She was the widow of Raymond S. Moore and was preceded in death by a granddaughter Gisele (Bowser) Corde.
She is survived by a daughter Barbara A. (Dolly) Bowser of Camp Hill and a son Robert R. Moore of Annandale, NJ; 4 grandaughters and 5 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Friday 6/27/03 in St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland with the Rev. William Richardson as celebrant.
Burial and committal service will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lock Haven by the Rev. Father Daniel J. O'Neill..
Viewing will be from 9:30 - 10:30 am Friday in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
Memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of her granddaughter to Brewster Education Foundation, Inc. P.O. Box 320 Brewster, NY 10509 or to her church at 3 East Walnut St. Lock Haven, PA 17745.

Paul T. Motter
Paul T. Motter, Sr., 82, of Lower Paxton Twp. died Friday, May 30, 2003 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a retired truck driver for Pennsylvania Truck Lines and a WWII Army veteran. He was also a member of the local Teamsters union.
He was born 4/14/21 in Mt. Alto to the late Carl J. & Emma K. (Sheaffer) Motter.
He is survived by his wife Grace L. (Smith) Motter; a son Paul, Jr. and his wife Joan of Harrisburg; 3 sisters, Virginia Barthell of Marysville, Loretta Pratt of East Pennsboro Twp. and Laura Gorrell of San Antonio, TX; 3 grandchildren, Jeff, Gregg and Ann; a great granddaughter Manasy; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 10:30 am Tuesday in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
Burial with military honors will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Twp.
Viewing will be one hour prior to services.
