Robert L. “Wit” Witmer, 49, of East Pennsboro Twp., Camp Hill died Friday May 21, 2004 in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He was a Systems Consultant for Penn National Insurance, Harrisburg and attended Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill. He was born June 30, 1954 in Goldsboro to the late William and Esther (Fox) Witmer.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara L. Breslin; a brother Allen Witmer; and a sister Sherry.
Services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday May 25, 2004 in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Upper Allen Twp. Viewing will be one hour prior to services Tuesday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, Capital Region Division, 1517 Cedar Cliff Dr. Camp Hill, PA 17011.

G. Jane Henry
June 1, 2004
G. Jane Henry, 80, of Camp Hill, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at Holy Spirit Hospital.
She was retired from the State of Pennsylvania, a graduate of William Penn High School, Harrisburg, and a member of Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, Camp Hill.
She is survived by her son, Edward Henry of Leona Valley, CA; a sister, Ester Wiest of Lancaster, and two grandchildren, Edward Henry, III of Leona Valley, CA and Kelley Henry of Saint Johnsbury, VT.
There will be no local services.

Richard R. Strohecker
June 2, 2004
Richard R. Strohecker, 73, of York Haven, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004, at Harrisburg Hospital.
Mr. Strohecker was a retired millwright with the former AMP. Inc., Harrisburg and an Army veteran serving as a sergeant in the Korean War. Born October 15, 1930, in Higgins, Schuylkill County, he was the beloved son of the late Thomas R. and Mildred F. (Weaver) Strohecker.
Surviving is his wife of over 53 years, Jane E. (Foster) Strohecker; a son, Kevin R. Strohecker, York Haven; two daughters, Kimberly W. Mentzer, New Cumberland and Stacy M. STrohecker, Mt. Wolf; two brothers, John Strohecker, West Fairview and Ronald Strohecker, Linglestown; a sister, Jeane Paul, Elizabethville; four granddaughters and two grandsons; nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 2 pm Monday in Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Private burial will be held in Tri-County Memorial Park, Fairview Twp. Visitation will be held 1 – 2 pm Monday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to New Cumberland Girls Softball Association, PO Box 253, New Cumberland, PA 17070.

James W. Ainsworth, Sr.
June 3, 2004
James W. Ainsworth, Sr., 58, formerly of New Cumberland died Thursday 6/3/04 in Steelton.
He was born 11/20/45 in Harrisburg to the late Millard and Verna (Allen) Ainsworth. He was a retired mechanic for over 20 years with Doc’s Garage, New Cumberland; a member of American Legion Post 143 and VFW Post 7415, both of New Cumberland.
He was the widower of Laura (Thompson) Ainsworth and is survived by a son James, Jr. of Lemoyne; a daughter Kathy L. Fisher of New Cumberland; a brother William of Blaine; 3 sisters, Mildred Keller and Alice Kitner of Steelton and Marian Parr of Wales, FL; 7 grandchildren, James, III, Laura Arter, Autumn Fisher, Elisa Bucher, Christine Bucher, Jacob Fisher and Brittany Fisher; a great granddaughter Jade Fisher; and several nieces and nephews
Memorial services will be held 2 pm Wednesday in St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Shiremanstown, with a visitation one hour prior to services. Committal will be at the convenience of the family.
Donations are requested to James W. Ainsworth, Jr., 429 Hummel Ave. Lemoyne, PA 17043.

Helen F. Wallace
June 6, 2004
Helen F. Wallace, 78, of Camp Hill, died Sunday, June 6, 2004 at Select Specialty Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was a retired claims examiner from the former Pennsylvania Blue Shield, Camp Hill. She had also worked for the former Bell Telephone and the former Bowman’s Department Store for thirteen years. She was a fifty-eight year member of Grace United Methodist Church, Lemoyne and its Son Shine Sunday School Class. She enjoyed traveling and her grandchildren
She was the widow of George H. Wallace, Sr. She is survived by a daughter, Elaine M. Seibert of Etters; a son, George H. Wallace of Mechanicsburg; a sister, Barbara Books of Marysville; and five grandchildren, Justin Wallace, Danielle and Vanessa Seibert, and Connor and Brooke Wallace.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Wednesday at Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp. Viewing will be from 9:30am until time of service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church’s Building Fund, 313 Herman Ave., Lemoyne, PA 17043

Russell J. Jones, Sr.
June 9, 2004
Russell J. Jones, Sr., 71, of New Cumberland, died Wednesday, June 09, 2004 in Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
He was a retired machine operator for Perk Dog Food, Camp Hill, and was an employee of the New Cumberland Car Wash. Mr. Jones was born July 16, 1932, in Philadelphia.
Surviving is his wife, Elvina M. (Updegraff) Jones; a son, Russell J. Jones Jr. of Newberry Twp., York Haven; a daughter, Marian A. (Jones) Reber of Shermans Dale; a step daughter, Doretha L. Woods, New Cumberland; seven brothers and three sisters; four grandchildren; three step grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three step great grandchildren
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland, with the Rev.Andrew S. Fitch officiating. Burial will be in Paddletown Cemetery, Newberry Twp. Viewing will be held 1 – 2 pm Friday in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Capital Region Unit, 1500 N. Second Street, Harrisburg, PA 17102-2527.

Catherine J. Warner
June 11, 2004
Catherine J. “Jo” Warner, 69, of New Cumberland and formerly of Sacramento, CA died Friday June 11, 2004 in U.P.M.C.-Lee Hospital, Johnstown.
She was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Shiremanstown and a former long time member of the Harrisburg Women’s Bowling Association; Harrisburg 600 Assn.; and the PA State 600 Assn. Mrs. Warner was born January 26, 1935 in Eastvale, PA to the late Edward and Elenor (Davis) Shuman before moving and growing up in Sacramento, CA.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Vickie L. Weaver of Lykens, PA, Carol Ann DePergola of West Chester, IL and Linda K. Warner, at home; a son Craig A. Warner of Hummelstown, PA; 2 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Friday June 18, 2004 in her church. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Hanover Twp., PA. Viewing will be from 6-8 pm Thursday in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland.
