Carolyn I. Hobart, 87, of Lemoyne died Thursday February 2, 2005 in her residence.
She was a graduate of New Cumberland High School, Class of 1936; attended art school in Philadelphia; and had a passion for dancing all of her life. Carolyn was born February 18, 1918 in Philadelphia to the late Lawrence and Anna (Snoke) Horton.
She was the widow of John H. Hobart and is survived by 2 daughters, Marilyn C. Musser of Palmyra and Karen F. Coleman with whom she lived; a son Zane D. Wyatt of Pamona Park, FL; 2 sisters, Dorothy Stahler of Shiremanstown and Barbara Sieber of McAllisterville; 2 brothers, William Horton of North Ogden, UT and Robert Horton of Lemoyne; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn., Capital Region Division, 1517 Cedar Cliff Drive Camp Hill, Pa 17011.

Walter N. Ickler
February 7, 2006
Walter N. Ickler, 83, of New Cumberland passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2006 surrounded by his loving family at home.
He was a retired office manager from Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. After retirement he enjoyed working for the Borough of New Cumberland at the Borough Hall and Library. A captain with New Cumberland Fire Department and Haddon Heights, NJ Fire Department, he was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, New Cumberland, New Cumberland River Rescue, and a life member of New Cumberland Fire Department. He was born May 7, 1922 in Philadelphia to the late Harry French and Mabel Dorthea (Long) Ickler.
He is survived by his wife, Joan M. Ickler; two sons, Mathew L. of Hazelton, and David A. and his wife Cindy of Camp Hill; a daughter, Patricia A. Shelly and her Husband Edward of New Cumberland; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Gregory and his wife Jessica, and Kimberly Ickler, and Rachel Shelly; and a great granddaughter, Morgan Ickler.
Visitation will be at 9:30am followed by services at 10:30am Friday at his church, 405 Bridge Street, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Fairview Twp.

Richard K. Tolbert
February 8, 2006
Richard K. “Rich” Tolbert, 46, of Newberry Twp., Etters, died Tuesday, February 8, 2006, at Harrisburg Hospital.
He was an employee of the U. S. Postal Service, Harrisburg branch on Crooked Hill; a member of Life Center Ministries International, Harrisburg; Harrisburg Road Runners Club; a triathlon competitor competing in triathlons in 23 states and he completed the Duke Blue Devil Iron man in Raleigh, NC. Rich was born October 31, 1959, in Harrisburg, the son of Robert K. Tolbert of Harrisburg and the late Renee (Stokes) Tolbert. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Morgan Jade Tolbert.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Jacqualine C. Procopio Tolbert; two daughters, Jennifer Lynn Tolbert and Corrie Marie Tolbert, both of Etters; his stepmother, Frances Tolbert; two sisters, Debra and Tammy.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday in his church with the Revs. John Leach and Linda Arvey officiating. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Fairview Twp. Viewing will be held 9:30 -11 am Friday in the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to Life Center Ministries International, 411 South 40th Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111, or to Harrisburg Road Runners Club, C/O Walt Greene, 431 Spring House Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.

Eileen H. Minner
February 10, 2006
Eileen H. Minner, 84, of Lemoyne, passed away Friday, February 10, 2006 at Holy Spirit Hospital.
She was born January 24, 1922 in New Castle to the late Edward and Laura Hoover. She was a retired Business Ombudsman for Pennsylvania Department of Commerce. She was a gentle soul who loved her family and enjoyed traveling, painting and reading.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Paul E.; a son, Jon E. and his wife Sandy of Harrisburg; two grandchildren, Brian and Beth Minner; also a step grandson, Kevin Yeingst, his wife Lorri, and their children Kyle and Spencer all of Feasterville.
Visitation will be at 6pm followed by a Memorial service at 7pm Wednesday at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, New Cumberland.

Frederick T. Kapp
February 11, 2006
Frederick T. Kapp, of Mechanicsburg, died Saturday, February 11, 2006 at Seidle Hospital Pinnacle Health, Mechanicsburg.
He retired as an Installer and Technician from the former Bell Telephone of Pennsylvania. He was a member of Mechanicsburg Presbyterian Church, for over 50 years; Past Grand Tall Cedar of Harrisburg Forrest No. 143; Harrisburg Consistory, Perry Lodge No. 458, F and AM; and former Supervisor of Monroe Twp. After retirement, he enjoyed working as a school bus driver for Cumberland Valley School District. He also took pleasure in music and going out to dinner. He was born July 22, 1920 in New Cumberland to the late Wilmot Earl and Nellie Kathrine (Taylor) Kapp.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean Bitner Kapp; two sons, F. Robert of Myrtle Beach, NC and Joseph R. Kapp, Sr. of Mechanicsburg; two daughters, Carol Ann Rider of Bridgport, NY and Nan Alleman of Carlisle; a brother, Robert E. Kapp of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 10:30am Wednesday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland followed by graveside services at 11:30 am at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Twp.

Azalea E. Hamburg
February 12, 2006
Azalea E. Hamburg, 92, of Messiah Village, Upper Allen Twp. and formerly of Camp Hill, died Sunday, February 12, 2006 at the village.
She was a retired secretary from Harrisburg School District. She was a member of Camp Hill United Methodist Church and its Fidelity Sunday School Class and Pythian Sisters, West Shore No. 179. She was born September 16, 1913 in Harrisburg to the late Christopher C. and Grace May (Meckley) Corpman.
The widow of George E. Hamburg, she is survived by a son, George E. Hamburg of New Cumberland; a daughter, Marilyn K. Hicks of Whitingham, VT; three grandchildren, David Hamburg, Kathy Farrow, and Michael Hicks; and three great-grandchildren, Dylan Farrow, Patrick Hicks, and Hannah Hicks.
Visitation will be at 12:30pm Wednesday followed by funeral services at 1:30pm at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland. Private burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Twp.
