Jacob S. Stoltzfus
Jacob S. Stoltzfus, 62, of 64 King s Lane, Lewistown (Mifflin County), died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005 at his home after battling cancer for almost four years.
Born July 9, 1942, he was a son of Jacob and the late Barbara Stoltzfus. His wife of 41 years, Annie S. (King) Stoltzfus, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Mrs. Steve Hershberger (Naomi S.), Mrs. Tim Miller (Erma K.), Mrs. Johnny Miller (Katie Mae), Matthew K. Stoltzfus and wife Martha, Mrs. Joe Lapp (Rhoda K.), Jacob Jr. Stoltzfus and wife Orpha, Daniel E. Stoltzfus, at home, Mrs. Aaron Knepp (Keturah), and Jadon Elmer Stoltzfus, at home; siblings, Mrs. Dan Stoltzfus (Mary), Weavertown, Jonathan Stoltzfus and wife Katie, Ronks, Dan Stoltzfus and wife Sadie Mae, Gap, Sam Stoltzfus and wife Suzanna, Ronks, Lizzie Lantz, Gordonville, wife of the late Aaron Lantz, Gid Stoltzfus and wife Edna, Intercourse, Amos Stoltzfus and wife Katie, New Holland and a sister-in-law, Mary Stoltzfus, wife of the late Elmer Stoltzfus.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Stoltzfus; two brothers, Elmer and John; and a brother-in-law, Aaron Lantz.
He was a member and Bishop at the Gospel Light Fellowship Church in McVeytown.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005 at the Pine Glen Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 1058 State Route 103 North, Lewistown, with the Ministers of Gospel Light Fellowship officiating. Interment will be in Gospel Light Cemetery, McVeytown. Friends may call from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Gospel Light Fellowship Church, 234 Little Brick Rd., McVeytown.
Harshbarger Funeral Home, McVeytown is in charge of arrangements.

Noah S. Graybill
Noah S. Graybill, 84, died February 6, 2005 at Landis Homes Retirement Community, where he has resided since 1995. He was the husband of Grace E. Redcay Graybill. Noah and Grace were marriage 63 years on January 1, 2005. Born December 2, 1920 in Brownstown, he was the son of the late Henry B. and Magdalena Martin Graybill.
In addition to his wife, he leaves loved ones: Robert E., husband of Susan Graybill of Lancaster, Thelma G., wife of the late Robert M. Flory of Lewistown, Clyde R., husband of Tara Graybill of Richville, NY, and Lorraine Graybill, former wife, of Lancaster, Joyce E., wife of Clifford G. Miller of Lancaster and Donald R., husband of Cheryl Graybill of Ronks; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He is survived by 3 brothers and 4 sisters: Mary Schantz of Ephrata, Arthur Graybill of Chesshire, CT, Omar Graybill of East Earl, Lois Dagen of Lititz, Jay Graybill of Bixby, OK, Orpha Harnish of Tulsa, OK and Eunice Enck of Sanibel, FL. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Marvin and Paul.
Noah retired from farming and home construction after 42 years. He was also employed by the Amish Farm and House as the farming manager and enjoyed giving wagon rides.
Following retirement, his hobbies included woodworking, attending public auctions, traveling on bus tours and playing games.
He was a life-long member of Strasburg Mennonite Church where he served as a trustee and Sunday school secretary.
VIEWINGS: Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at the West Bethany Chapel at Landis Homes, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz, PA and Thursday from 10 to 11 AM at the Strasburg Mennonite Church, 1514 Village Road, Strasburg, PA. FUNERAL: Thursday at 11 AM at the church with Pastor John Meck, Pastor Don Good and Pastor Paul Dagen officiating. Interment in Strasburg Mennonite Cemetery. Robert S. Sellers

Robert S. Sellers, 91, formerly of Silver Spring, died Thursday at Rheems Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of natural causes. He was the husband of the late Irene F. Sellers, who died March 27, 2004.
He was born in Lancaster, son of the late Walter D. and Stella Johns Sellers. He was a self-employed plumbing and heating contractor. A member of Hempfield United Methodist Church. He was an avid duck hunter and fisherman. He was well known for his decoy carving and collecting. He also maintained a beautiful rose garden at his home in Silver Spring.
He is survived by one brother, James J. Sellers, Peach Bottom and one sister, Jane Groff, Quarryville. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sylvia B. Sellers in 1978 and a sister, M. Frances Foulke.
Funeral service will be held at the John E. Kraft Funeral Home, 114 West Main Street, Mountville, PA on Monday January 31, 2005 at 2:00 PM, with rev. Morton Caffey officiating. Interment in Silver Spring Cemetery. Friends may call at the John E. Kraft Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Please omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Hempfield United Methodist Church, 3050 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17601 or Hospice of Lancaster County, 685 Good Drive, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.

Charles S. Rice Jr.
Charles S. "Charlie" Rice, Jr. was ushered into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, February 1, 2005 at Hospice of Lancaster County, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Catherine Mull Rice. They celebrated their 48th anniversary on September 28, 2004.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Charles S. Rice and Mildred Bell Burkhardt. He was also a step-son to the late Josephine Rice. He graduated with the class of 1952, from East Lampeter Township High School. An U.S. Army veteran, he served his country from 1952-1956 and was stationed in Germany from 1955-1956. He retired from Kunzler after 25 years of service. He was also employed for 15 years at Willow Valley Assoc. part time. He was a member of Clearfield U.M. Church of New Providence. In he lifetime, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. He also enjoyed watching and listening to the Philadelphia Phillies and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was granted 70 years to share on earth, he was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Surviving in addition to his wife, is a son, Craig, marriage to Mary Sharp, of Lancaster; 2 daughters, Vicki Witmer and Linda Long, marriage to George Wettig, both of Lancaster; 6 grandchildren, Sherry, Ken, Denise, Nicole, Danielle and Heather and 10 great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Jacqueline, marriage to James Nolt, of Willow Street; a half sister, Doris Murry of Lancaster and 2 brothers, Raymond of Paradise and William of Ephrata. He was preceded in death by a grandson Craig Rice, Jr., 2 brothers, Clair and Robert.
Funeral Services will be held at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home, 320 Blue Rock Road, Route 999, Millersville, PA on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 10:00 AM. Military Honors will be accorded by the Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard, Lancaster, PA. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Lancaster. Friends may call at Scheid's on Saturday between 9 and 10 AM.
Kindly omit flowers. Memorial Remembrances may be made in Charlie s memory to Hospice of Lancaster County.

Melvin Feltch

Melvin Feltch, 85, of 900 East King St., Lancaster, formerly of Columbia, died Sunday at Conestoga View where he has resided for the past seven years. He was the husband of the late Christine Walbright Feltch who preceded him in death in 2002.
Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Caroline Feltch. He retired from Coulder Door Service, Lancaster where he worked as a maintenance man. He was a US Army veteran of WWII.
Surviving is his sister, Caroline, wife of Andrew Bowers, Columbia. His brothers, Harry, Charles and William Hogentogler and a sister Betty Bair preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc., 519 Walnut St., Columbia, PA on Wednesday at 10:00AM with the Rev. Glenn L. Compton, officiating. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

Robert E. Byrnes
Robert E. Byrnes, 90, a resident of Brethren Village, Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 in Brethren Village Nursing Facility.
He worked at the former Olmsted Air Force Base, Middletown and retired from the Naval Air System Command in Washington, D.C. with 30 years of service. He was a life long member of the Fifth Street United Methodist Church, Harrisburg and an associate member of the First United Methodist Church in Ormond Beach, Florida where he and his wife lived for 26 years before moving to Brethren Village in 2001.
He was born in Harrisburg, the son of the late James M. and Mary Elizabeth (Bessie) Foulk Byrnes. Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years, Bessie Black Byrnes; a step-daughter, Mary Jane Kelly, of South Carolina; a step-son, John C. Hoffer, of Texas; 6 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul, John, Charles, James, Herbert and Donald and a sister, Dorcas Holtz.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, February 2, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Brethren Village, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA 17606.
Burial will be in East Harrisburg Cemetery, Harrisburg following the service.
Visitation will be from 10:30 am to 11 am, Wednesday in the Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Brethren Village Endowment Fund or to a charity of your choice.
Neumyer Funeral Home, Inc., 1334 N. 2nd Street, Harrisburg is handling arrangements.

Jayton Tyrone "Ronnie" Hinton

Jayton Tyrone "Ronnie" Hinton, 46, of 125 Dauphin Street, Lancaster, died on Saturday at Lancaster Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
Born in Lancaster, he is the son of Elaster and Betty Carolyn King Hinton. He attended McCaskey High School from 1974 - 1976. He enjoyed football, particularly the Dallas Cowboys and attended the Boys and Girls Club of Lancaster.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Kaila S. Wright of Lancaster, PA and two grand-daughters. He was preceded in death by two sons: Tyron "Tykie" Speller and Anthony "Amp" McFadden.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend "Ronnie's" Life Celebration Funeral Service from Ebenezer Baptist Church, 148 Locust St., Lancaster, PA on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Roland P. Forbes officiating. Friends may call at the Funeral Home of Fred F. Groff, Inc., 234 West Orange Street, Lancaster, PA on Tuesday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment in Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery.
