John F. Ryan
John F. Ryan, 21, of 4 Ridgeview Drive, Quarryville, Pa., died on Thursday, October 5, 2006 as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident in East Drumore Twp., Lancaster County.
John was the son of Richard and Dianne Eisenman Ryan of Quarryville, Pa. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Quarryville. John enjoyed sports in high school, and was a computer enthusiast. John had served in the U.S. Air Force as a flight mechanic, and had been stationed for much of his tour in Alaska.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by; sisters, Kristie Morstatt of Macungie, Pa., Kelly, marriage to Greg Gillette of Lancaster, Kate, marriage to Geoff Heskett of Sellersville, Pa., and a brother Tim Ryan of Quarryville. He is also survived by his maternal grand father George Eisenman, and a niece and nephew; Kailey and Sean Morstatt.
Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian burial on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. from St. Catherine’s of Sienna Catholic Church, 955 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville, Pa. Burial will be in St. Catherine’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, Pa., on Monday from 7:00-9:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lancaster County Children and Youth Agency, 900 East King Street, Lancaster, PA, 17602.

Richard L. Stalker
Richard L. Stalker, 85, of 625 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville, died on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center, Lancaster, PA. He was the husband of the late Jose Drummond Stalker who died in 1990.
Richard was retired from the U.S. Army as a Warrant Officer W4, with 30 years serving his country. He had served in WWII, Korean War, and the Viet Nam War. After his military retirement he was employed by the State of PA.
Richard was an avid Philadelphia Philly’s fan.
He was born in Ardmore, PA, son of the late George and Margaret Yowell Stalker. He is survived by his daughter; Sandra Lefever of New Providence, PA, 4 grand children, 7 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter; Sharon L. Caudill. The Funeral Service will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Friday, April 14, 2006 at 9:30 A.M. Viewing will be one half hour prior to the service. Friends are also invited to attend the committal service to be held on Friday at 11:30 A.M. at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

Graham F. Todd
Graham F. Todd, Sr., 69, of Millersville, PA went home to be with the Lord in the early hours of February 2, 2006 at Lancaster General Hospital after a sudden illness. Born and raised in Wilmington, DE, son of the late Alton McGrath Todd and Gladys Sutton Todd. He was a graduate of Wm. Penn High School. Graham had served in the National Guard as a photographer and played in the band.
He was a 32nd Degree Mason. Graham was an avid ham radio operator for many years in Wilmington and St. Louis. He worked as a maintenance manager for the Chrysler Corp. in Newark, St. Louis and Ohio for 35 years before retiring to Millersville, PA.
Graham became an active member of Union Presbyterian Church in Kirkwood, where he taught Sunday school, served as trustee and recently became an Elder. He also served on the Pastor Nominating Committee. His focus and love was on his family and his church. He was faithful to both.
Graham is survived by his wife of nineteen years Janet, and sons Graham, Jr., marriage to Connie of Oxford, PA, and Charles of Wilmington, DE. Extended family Brian Todd of CA, Bobby and John Innskeep, David Brooks of West Chester, Pam Brooks of Cochranville, and Drew Brooks and wife Sue of Lancaster, PA; 16 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, brother Alton Todd marriage to Ann of Newark, DE and sister Arlene marriage to Larry Mclaren of Wilmington. He was preceded in death by sons Blaine Todd and Jeff Brooks, and a brother Fred Todd.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 6, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Union Presbyterian Church, 5637 Street Road, Kirkwood, PA 17566. Interment in the Union Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9:30 AM until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Graham’s memory may be made to the Union Presbyterian Church Building Fund, c/o the church. Reynolds Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA serving the family.

Verna Mae Trimble
Verna M. Trimble, 94, of 625 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville, PA, formerly of Chestnut Level, PA died on Tuesday, October 4, 2005, at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Daniel L. Trimble, who died in 1985. Mrs. Trimble had been a homemaker. She was a member of Boehm’s United Methodist Church since 1939, and had been a member of King’s Daughter’s in Chestnut Level. She enjoyed crafts, especially making Christmas tree ornaments.
Born in Drumore Township, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Ella Weitzel Martin. She is survived by a daughter, Ruth L. Akers, wife of Curtis of Quarryville; 2 sons, Donald B. husband of Carol Ann Trimble of Quarryville, and Paul D. husband of Charlotte Trimble, Peach Bottom; 9 grand children and 16 great grand children. She was preceded in death by 2 sister’s, Mary Morrow and Esther Murry; 3 brothers, Lloyd, Elmer and Marvin Martin. Funeral Services will be conducted from Boehm’s United Methodist Church, 13 East Boehm’s Road, Willow Street, PA on Friday, October 7, 2005, at 11:00 A.M. There will be a viewing 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Boehm’s United Methodist Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, contributions in Verna’s memory can be made to Boehm’s United Methodist Memorial Fund, 13 East Boehm’s Road, Willow Street. PA 17584. Reynolds Funeral Home, 144 E. State Street, Quarryville serving the family.

Arthur Bronson Walker
Arthur Bronson Walker, 82, of 137 Pilottown Road, Peach Bottom, PA, died Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at Lancaster General Hospital. He was the husband of Pauline M. Waddell Walker, and they had celebrated 56 years of marriage.
Mr. Walker had retired after 25 years as a civil service employee, most recently as a water treatment operator at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. He had also driven school bus for 10 years for the former Harold H. Warfel Co. in the Solanco School District.
Mr. Walker was a US Army veteran and had served with the 8th regiment in the European Theater during WWII. He was awarded 3 bronze stars and a purple heart.
He was born in Grassy Creek, NC, son of the late Lee and Cessie Ball Walker. He is survived by his wife Pauline M. Waddell Walker, son Kenneth Walker of Willow Street, PA, daughter’s Peggy, marriage to Barney Reinhart of Peach Bottom, PA, and Janet, marriage to Nick Ragan of Quarryville, PA, 8 grand children, 5 great grand children, and his sister Janell, marriage to Luther Campbell, of NC. He is predeceased by a brother Joseph Walker. The Funeral Service will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Saturday, October 29, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.

Marie E. Wimer
Marie E. Wimer, age 82, formerly of Quarryville, died Friday evening (March 10, 2006) at Conestoga View where she resided. Marie was the widower of John M. Wimer who died in 1977. She was born in Lancaster County a daughter of the late Jacob and Rose Paulson Young. A homemaker, she was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, Quarryville, the Solanco Senior Citizens, and the Quarryville Golden Age Club of which she was a past president.
Surviving are 3 children, John Wimer of York, Arlene Wimer of Manchester, and Betty Wimer of Florida; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Laura Gertler and Anna Mary Bleacher and a brother, Jacob Young, Jr. Funeral services will be held from the Reynolds Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Tuesday at 2:00PM. Interment will follow in Mt. Eden Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00PM until the time of service. Those who desire may make contributions in Maries memory to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603.

John B. Wolfe, Jr.
John B. Wolfe, Jr., 50, of 88 Brookside Place, Nottingham, PA, died Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Thomas Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia, following a bone marrow transplant.
John was the husband of Joy Keegan Wolfe. They had celebrated 27 years of marriage. He was also the father of 2 sons; John Bayne Wolfe, III, a senior at Penn State University, State College, Pa., and Andrew Keegan Wolfe of Paris Island, South Carolina. John was born in Delaware County, son of Janice Leonard Wolfe of New London, Pa., and the late John B. Wolfe, Sr.
John had worked as a splicing technician for Verizon for 31 years, retiring in 2006. He was a member of the Wrightsdale Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Norwood Fire Co., and had served as a past fire chief. John had also served in the US Marine Corp, and the National Guard. He enjoyed spending time with his boys, and was always active in coaching kid’s sports. John was an active member of the Jennersville YMCA. He also enjoyed playing the bag pipes and military history.
He is also survived by his sisters; Beth Wolfe of Boothwyn, Pa., Kathy Bryant of Galena, Md., and a brother Martin Wolfe, of New London, Pa.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, October 5, 2006 at 7:00 PM from the Wrightsdale Baptist Church, 310 Little Britain Road, Peach Bottom, PA 17566. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. The burial will be Friday, 10:00 AM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wrightsdale Baptist Church Benevolent or Sanctuary funds. Reynolds Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA.
