Elizabeth A. Roupp
Elizabeth A. “Betty” Roupp, 93, of Ravine Road, formerly of RD Trout Run, died Monday, April 7, 2003, at the Williamsport Home. Betty was born Sept. 17, 1910, in Bodines, a daughter of Charles and Addie Correll Harman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Roupp in 1967.
Betty was a longtime member of the Steam Valley Community Bible Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing. Betty was noted for being a caregiver to people all over the area.
She is survived by a daughter, Marian Roupp of RD Trout Run; a son, Harold (Beverly) Landon of Venice, N.Y.; a daughter-in-law, Gloria Landon of Oval; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband; sons, Marvin Landon in 1930, Nathan Landon of Oval in 1998; daughter, Lorraine Kinney of Rochester, N.Y. in 1988; brothers, Floyd, Edgar, Norman, Wilbur, Robert, Lester, Harman and a sister, Margaret Bowman.
A Celebration of Betty’s life will be held Saturday, May 17, at 11 a.m. at the Cogan House Christian Church, Cogan House Road, Trout Run. Rev. Brian Roloson, pastor of Maranatha Church, will officiate. A fellowship dinner will follow the service at the community building.
Family will provide the flowers.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Warrensville Cemetery (Oaklawn). Arrangements are being handled by the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd. “A Life Celebration Home,” 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.

Myrtle Catherine Ripka
Myrtle Catherine Ripka, 84, of Milton, died Wednesday evening, April 9, 2003, at the Kramm Healthcare Center, Milton.
Mrs. Ripka was born in Philadelphia on Sept. 28, 1918, a daughter of the late Mirl and Leah (Sherman) Ocker. Her husband, Frederick G. Ripka died Feb. 15, 1951.
Mrs. Ripka had attended the Lewisburg schools, was employed as a seamstress at Quaker Manufacturing and later was employed at American Home Foods in Milton. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed going to local sports events where her grandchildren were involved.
Surviving are a daughter, Freda A. Zellers, and her companion, Lee M. Cohrs of Milton; a son, Frederick G. Ripka Jr., and his wife, Lois of Turbotville; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and two brothers, Kermit Ocker of Dillsburg and James Ocker of Williamsport. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Beatrice Black, Rachel Nuss and Rhelda Hockenbrock, and by three brothers, Jasper, Kenneth and Keith Ocker.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 14, at 11 a.m. at the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton. Officiating will be the Rev. Nathan K. Condon and internment will be made in the Harmony Cemetery, Milton.
Friends and relatives will be received at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10 to 11 a.m.

Ruth L. Naegely
Ruth L. Naegely, 93, of Wellsboro, died Wednesday, April 9, 2003.
She is survived by several nephews.
Friends may call Sunday, April 13, from 2:30 to 3 p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home Inc., Wellsboro. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will provide the flowers.

Tanya L. Bieber
Tanya L. Bieber, 59, of Hughesville, died April 10, 2003, at her home. Born July 7, 1943, in Muncy Creek Twp., she was a daughter of Ray and Ellen Andrews Houseknecht.
Surviving is a son, Anthony R. Bieber of Hughesville. Tanya is predeceased by her parents, an uncle, Cleo Andrews, and an aunt, Yvonne (Tootie) Dixon.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.

Thelma R. Peterson
A graveside service for Thelma R. Peterson, 79, of South Williamsport, who died April 1, 2003, will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at Twin Hills Memorial Park, 3332 Lycoming Mall Drive, Muncy, with the Rev. Christine Woods-Henderson officiating.
Family will provide the flowers. Arrangements are being handled by the Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd., “A Life Celebration Home.”

Clara Cole
During the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 9, 2003, Clara (Jackson) Cole of Ogdensburg passed away quietly at Valley View Nursing Center. She was 84 years of age, and the wife of Charles “Sam” Cole. Funeral services are incomplete at this time, and have been entrusted to Morse & Kleese Funeral Home, Inc., 40 N. Center St., Canton.

Elmer L. Ulmer
Elmer L. Ulmer, 86, of 7154 Daugherty’s Run Road, Cogan Station died peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 4, 2005, at Sycamore Manor.

David A. Renzi
On the evening of Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, David Allen Renzi of Troy RR 1, passed away at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre. He was 58 years old.

Grace A. Lovell
Grace A. Lovell, 87, of 2100 Kenwood Ave., died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, at Rose View Center, following an extended illness.

Josephine S. Gohrs
Josephine S. Gohrs, 89, of 101 Leader Drive, Williamsport, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, at ManorCare South, where she had resided for five years. She was born April 7, 1915, in Williamsport, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Martin.

Katharine Aldridge
Katharine Aldridge, 79, of Muncy, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, at the Muncy Valley Skilled Nursing Facility.

Leora Mildred Lloyd
Leora Mildred Lloyd, 85, of Blossburg, passed away Jan. 4, 2005, at home. Born Dec. 7, 1919, in Elmira, N.Y., she was a daughter of Beldon and Elizabeth (Stemovihtz) Gee Hemingway.

Margaret Isabel Garg
Margaret Isabel Garg, 78, daughter of the late John and Mary Green of Boston, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, at her residence. She was marriage to Raj Garg of India, who preceded her in death.

Marie M. Peet, 93, of Coudersport, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005.

Carol Lynn Dailey, 65, of Thompson, PA, formerly of Wellsboro, died Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Scranton.

Donald Bronson, 79, of 4421 Route 220 Highway, Hughesville, passed away Jan. 3, 2005, at the Williamsport Hospital.

Ernest W. Hyde, 88, of 355 Girio Terrace, South Williamsport, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, at the Williamsport Hospital & Medical Center.

Marc R. Souders
Marc R. Souders, 40, of 193 Colorado St., Marion, PA, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, in Waynesboro Hospital. Born Feb. 28, 1964, in Chambersburg, he was the son of Charles R. and Mary C. Frey Souders of 193 Colorado St., Marion, and the grandson of the late Elmer and Goldie Frey.

Angeline (Rizzo) Bellotti, 89, formerly of Williamsport and Philadelphia, PA, and who had resided in Overbrook and West Chester, PA, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, in the Meadows Health Care Facility at the Tel Hai Retirement Community, Honey Brook, PA.

Charles W. “Chuck” Breon Jr., 53, of 5370 North Route 44, Jersey Shore, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, after a five-month battle with cancer.

Joyce Ann Heater, 58, of Hillcrest Apartments in Troy, unexpectedly went to be with her Lord on Friday, Dec. 31, 2004, at the Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo, N.Y.

Talitha Ellen “Teddie” Edwards, 86, of Lock Haven area, died Jan. 2, 2005, at the Lock Haven Hospital Extended Care Unit, where she resided since 1999.

William D. Malinich, 58, of 136 Waltimyer Road, Turbotville, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, at his residence. He was born Dec. 16, 1946, in Philipsburg, the son of Cordelia Faye Reams Malinich of Philipsburg and the late John Malinich.

Ann Patricia Polinsky, of The Highlands, Laporte, formerly of Sullivan Terrace, Dushore and Forty Fort, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004.

Emily E. Murray, 104, formerly of E. Water St., Muncy, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, at RiverWoods, Lewisburg. She had been a resident there for the past 15 years.

Evelyn P. Stevens
Evelyn P. Stevens, 66, of Coudersport, formerly of Ulysses, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004.

Patricia I. Hults
Patricia I. Hults, 63, Ulysses, Pa., died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005, in her home.
Born Sept. 29, 1942, in Mahaffey, Pa., she was the daughter of Jeff and Doris Snyder Sunderlin. She was marriage to James C. Hults, who predeceased her in 2001.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30 at the Olney Funeral Home, Ulysses. The Rev. David Brelo will officiate. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Brookland, Pa.
