DONALD "LANE" WEIGLE
Donald "Lane" Weigle, 34, of Valley Road, Marysville, died Friday, Jan. 1, 1999 at home.
He was an employee of Carlisle Productions.
Surviving are his mother, Ann R. Albright of Marysville; a brother, Kent L. Weigle Sr. of Duncannon; a sister, Shelby R. Weigle, at home; and a niece and nephew.
Services were private and held at the convenience of the family. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Duncannon.
Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville, handled arrangements.

ALICE M. WELLER
Alice M. Weller, 85, of Perlo Ridge Apartments, Loysville RR 2, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 1999 in Carlisle Hospital.
She was born March 10, 1914 at Gaylesburg, Ill., to the late Miles F. and Mary M. (Sweger) Moose.
She was a homemaker; had been employed at the former Blain Union High School as a cafeteria worker and was a seamstress for Conaley Upholstery, Camp Hill; and a member of the First Church of God, Landisburg, and the Golden Age Group, Loysville.
She was the widow of Harry L. Weller, who died May 21, 1971.
Surviving are two sons, Miles H. of Shermans Dale and Harry E. "Gene" of Loysville RR 1; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 29 in Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Rev. H. James Williams officiating. Burial was in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Loysville RR 1.
Memorial contributions may be made to Perlo Ridge Apartments, RR 2, Box 400, Loysville 17047, or her church, Landisburg 17040.

ELIZABETH M. WILLOW
Elizabeth M. "Libby" Willow, 90, of Seven Stars Road, Millerstown died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1999 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was born June 19, 1909 at Millerstown RR 2 in Juniata County to the late Franklin Isaac and Bertha Melinda (Frontz) Chubb.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and crocheting, and was a member of St. James United Methodist Church, Millerstown RR 2.
She was the widow of John Albert Willow, who died Feb. 9, 1981.
Surviving are two sons, Walter C. of Millerstown and John R. of Richfield; three daughters, Judy A. Howell of Newport RR 4, Linda A. Keisling of Liverpool and Stella Willow of Downingtown; one brother, Donald I. Chubb of Middleburg RR 1; one sister, Ida Miller of Mechanicsburg; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Evelyn Minium, who died March 20, 1999; one grandson, Raymond Minium Jr., who died in 1986; one sister, Maggie Delancy; and three brothers, Lucian, Earl and Leroy Chubb.
Services were held Sept. 11 in Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, with the Rev. Salvatore E. Buonocore officiating. Burial was in St. James United Methodist Cemetery, Millerstown RR 2.

PAUL C. RHINEHART
Paul C. Rhinehart, 71, of N. Middleton Road, Carlisle, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 1999 at home.
He was born May 8, 1928 in West Pennsboro Twp., Cumberland County, to the late David and Cora (McVitty) Rhinehart.
He was retired from R.E. Jones Company and M. Gordon Company, both of Harrisburg, as a painter, and was a member of Painters Union Local 411, Harrisburg.
Surviving are his wife, Betty G. Carper Rhinehart; two stepsons, William L. Roberts of Carlisle and Robert A. Roberts of Chambersburg; five stepdaughters, Elizabeth J. Morrison of Landisburg, Janice M. Anderson and Donna L. Head, both of LaVista, Neb., Debra K. Railing of York Haven and Carol S. McKee of Mt. Holly Springs; one sister, Ardella Mitten of Grantville; 18 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, three brothers, three sisters and one granddaughter.
Services were held Oct. 18 in Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg, with the Rev. Jonathan C. Terry officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Capital Area Region, 1500 N. Second St., Harrisburg 17102.

DANA L. WIELAND
Dana L. Wieland, 36, of Brick Church Road, Newville, and formerly of Perry County, died Friday, Oct. 15, 1999 at home.
He was born July 22, 1963 at Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg, to Raymond R. Jr. and Janet T. Wieland of Loysville.
He formerly was employed by Frog & Switch Manufacturing Company, Carlisle, served 12 years with the Army; attended West Perry High School; and was an avid collector of Indian artifacts.
In addition to his parents, surviving are his wife, Jessica A. Gipe Wieland; a daughter, Katelyn L., at home; a son, Christian of Ickesburg; two stepdaughters, Ashley R. Gipe and Katrina M. Gipe, at home; two brothers, Raymond R. III of Elliottsburg and Steven S. of Landisburg; two sisters, Sherry L. Blumenschein of Landisburg and Tracy L. Difabbio of Mechanicsburg; his maternal grandmother, Eleanor J. Byrnes of Lincoln, Calif.; 10 nephews; 10 nieces; two great-nieces; and a great-nephew.
Services were held Oct. 19 in Nickel Funeral Home, Loysville, with the Revs. Robert Woodall and Charles Carothers officiating. Burial, with military honors, was in Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown.

ETHEL M. SWEGER
Ethel M. Sweger, 103, of Mechanicsburg died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
She was born Sept. 13, 1895 in Elliottsburg to the late John H. and Nancy B. (Sollenberger) Kingsborough.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mechanicsburg.
She was the widow of James Oren Sweger.
Surviving are two daughters, Shirley A. and Doris H., both of Mechanicsburg.
Graveside services were held Jan. 12 in Bloomfield Cemetery with the Rev. Donald J. Ciampa officiating.
Malpezzi Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, handled arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church, 135 W. Simpson St., Mechanicsburg 17055.

JACK E. SHADE
Jack E. Shade, 68, formerly of Newport, died Thursday, March 25, 1999 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born April 14, 1930 in Perry County to the late Harold and Pearl (Clouser) Shade.
He was a Marine Corps veteran; a Lutheran; an avid fisherman, photographer and interested in American Indian history.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred Blaine Shade of New Bloomfield, and four nephews.
Services were held March 29 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport. Burial was in Newport Cemetery.

MAYNARD C. TRAVITZ
Maynard C. "Jim" Travitz, 65, of the Zendt Nursing Home, formerly of E. Main Street, Thompsontown, died Friday, May 7, 1999 in Lewistown Hospital.
He was born Aug. 27, 1933 in Pfoutz Valley to the late Albert C. and Lillian D. (Smith) Travitz.
He was a Perry County farm laborer; a Protestant; and a member of the Thompsontown Ambulance League.
Surviving are a brother, Larry of Liverpool RR 2; and six sisters, Amanda J. Schrader of Harrisburg, Alta L. Nipple of Thompsontown RR 1, Goldie M. Matter of Newport, Joan R. Goodling of Shiremanstown, Donna L. Matter of Millerstown RR 2 and Gale E. Travitz-Smeltz of Camp Hill.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas L., and one sister, Shirley A. Swartz.
Services were held May 11 in Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, with the Rev. Ray F. Kosciolek officiating. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery, Millerstown RR 2.

STEPHEN S. SHEETS JR.
Stephen S. Sheets Jr., 77, of Pine School Road, Gardners, died Sunday, March 14, 1999 in Carlisle Hospital.
He was born Feb. 21, 1922 in Duncannon to the late Stephen S. Sr. and Edna (Banks) Sheets.
He was retired from the produce department of Keefers Food Market and a member of Mt. Victory United Methodist Church, Gardners, and Biglerville Senior Citizens.
Surviving are his wife, Freda M. Weidner Sheets; a brother, Edward of Newport; and a sister, Gloria Kirkpatrick of Carlisle.
Services were held March 18 in Gibson-Hollinger Funeral Home, Mt. Holly Springs, with the Rev. Bryan Mann officiating. Burial was in Dillsburg Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to his church, 1 Victory Church Road, Gardners 17324.

FRANKLIN D. WRIGHT
Franklin Delmont Wright, 74, of Camp Hill died Monday, Aug. 16, 1999 in Health-South Renovo Center, Mechanicsburg.
He retired as a clerk from the Harrisburg Post Office; was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II; a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Harrisburg Area Road Runners Club, American Legion Post 1001 and the National Federal Employees; and a life member of Shellsville VFW Post 9639.
Surviving are his wife, Laura Zimmerman Wright; two daughters, Debra Tobias of Colonial Park and Sharon Serbacic of Allentown; two sisters, Creta Gordon of Bellevue, Wash., and Marcella Dudley of Newport; a four grandchildren.
Services were held in Hoover Funeral Home and Crematory, Linglestown. Burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
