MIRIAM S. KRICK
Miriam Spease Krick, 80, of Jefferson St., Duncannon, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000 at home.
She was born Nov. 18, 1919 in Wheatfield Twp. to the late Alois and Emma (Zeigler) Spease.
She was a former employee of Bell Telephone Co.; a member of Logania Church of God, where she taught Sunday school, was a pianist and deaconess and attended Bible study; and a member of the Duncannon High School Alumni Association.
Surviving are her husband, Lloyd J. Krick, a son, Samuel W. of Duncannon RR 2; a brother, John Z. Spease of Duncannon; two sisters, Catherine Stansfield of Camp Hill and Pearl Lepperd of Duncannon; a granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 5 in her church, with the Rev. Bernard Fortna officiating. Burial was in Dellville Cemetery.
Smith Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, Capital Region Unit, 1500 N. Second St., Harrisburg 17102.

NORMAN W. KRATZER
Norman Walter Kratzer, 73, of Richfield died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000 in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born Jan. 11, 1927 at Richfield to the late Charles Michael and Edna (Lauver) Kratzer.
He retired as a truck driver from Consolidated Freight Truck Lines, York; had worked part-time for Gerald Lauver Trucking of Mount Pleasant Mills; was a member and trustee of Richfield Mennonite Church; a member of Richfield Ambulance League and Teamsters Local 776, Harrisburg; and enjoyed camping, fishing, carpentry and traveling.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Geraldine J. Pellman Kratzer; two sons, Donald N. of Millerstown RR 1 and Ronald L. of Richfield RR 2; five daughters, Connie J. Heintzelman of Wernersville, Von Rickenbaugh of McAlisterville RR 1, Bonita K. Hackenberg and Lonnie J. Colyer, both of Richfield RR 1, and Sondra A. Bassler of McAlisterville; three brothers, Ernest N. of Millerstown RR 1, Elwood L. of Richfield and Harold K. of Richfield RR 1; a sister, Geraldine M. Goodling of Mifflintown RR 5; and 17 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence R. in 1977 and Earl R. Sr. in 1997.
Services were held Oct. 31 in his church with pastor Jerry R. O'Connell officiating and pastor Chandler J. Cutting assisting. Burial was in Richfield Union Cemetery.
Garman Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant Mills, handled arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to his church's youth mission fund, RR 1, Box 11, Richfield 17086.

RUTH V. KITNER
Ruth V. Kitner, 63, of Sleepy Hollow Road, Shermans Dale, died Monday, Sept. 11, 2000 in HealthSouth Rehabilitation Center, Mechanicsburg.
She was a member of Pleasant Valley Brethren in Christ Church, Elliottsburg, and Central Perry Senior Citizens Center, New Bloomfield.
She was the widow of Robert F. Kitner.
Surviving are two sons, Robert L. Sr. and Roy A., both of New Bloomfield; two daughters, Rebecca Noss of Shermans Dale and Rachel Kitner of Newville; two brothers, Benjamin Turnbaugh Jr. of Newport and William Turnbaugh of Carlisle; two sisters, Mary Smiley of Shermans Dale and Donna Stone of New Bloomfield; a half-sister, Betty Wallace of Shermans Dale; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services were held Sept. 14 in her church. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, handled arrangements.

SARAH V. KLINE
Sarah V. Kline, 96, of E. McClure Street, New Bloomfield, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000 at home.
She was born Aug. 19, 1904 in Dalmatia to the late Daniel A. and Julia (Radle) Kline.
She was a schoolteacher in Abington, Pa., Pensauken, N.J., and the former Tressler Orphans School in Loysville; a 1922 graduate of New Bloomfield High School and a 1926 graduate of Hood College, Frederick, Md.; and a member of Christ Lutheran Church, New Bloomfield.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Dec. 2 in Bloomfield Cemetery with the Rev. Anthony C. Hill officiating.
Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, handled arrangements.

VINCE H. KEYWORTH
Vince H. "Buck" Keyworth, 67, of Mountain View Road, Shermans Dale, died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2000 at home.
He was born in Jackson Hole, Wyo., to the late Clifford J. and Louise G. (Winters) Keyworth.
He was a retired professional cowboy and rodeo rider; an Army veteran of the 82nd Airborne and served in the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Keyworth; two sons, Greg of New York and Mark of North Carolina; a daughter, Lori Dorrs of Arizona; two brothers, Gary Keyworth of Newport and Gene Pratt of New Hampshire; a sister, Sharon Sikes of Shermans Dale; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held Oct. 2 in Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield, with the Rev. N. Jefferson Brewster officiating. Burial will be in Colorado at the convenience of the family.

WINIFRED A. KEITER
Winifred A. Keiter, 66, of Millerstown RR 3 died Saturday, April 1, 2000 in Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
She was born April 1, 1934 in Millerstown to the late Norman O. and Julia M. (Sarver) Bonsall.
She was a retired Polyclinic Hospital employee; a member and former deacon, organist and choir director of the Presbyterian Church of Perry Valley, Millerstown; a life member of The Perry Historians; a member of the Perry County Historical Society and the Greenwood Community Band; a member of the former Millerstown Civic Club; had been a Crop Walk volunteer; and enjoyed traveling, crocheting and volunteering.
Surviving are her husband, George R. Keiter; a son, Keith M., and a brother, Kenneth E. Bonsall, both of Millerstown; and three grandchildren.
Services were held April 4 in Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Crea Clark officiating. Burial was in Wright's Cemetery, Millerstown.

ADA J. LANKFORD
Ada J. Winemiller Lankford, 74, of Shermans Dale died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000 in Carlisle Hospital.
She attended Derry Street Gospel Church, Harrisburg, and enjoyed cooking and Bible studies.
Surviving are her husband, Rodney D. Lankford; a daughter, Colleen A. Smith of Peoria, Ill.; two sons, Timothy W. Beam of Delton, Fla., and Samuel E. Beam of Dauphin; a sister, Grace Chambers of Pittsboro, N.C.; a brother, Joseph Winemiller of Middletown; and five grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 7 in her church. Burial was in Salem Union Cemetery, Dover.
Neumyer Funeral Home, Harrisburg, handled arrangements.

CLARENCE W. LEACH SR.
Clarence W. "Bill" Leach Sr. of Tuscarora Twp., Millerstown, died Friday, Sept. 22, 2000 in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born Dec. 26, 1921 in Centre Twp. to the late Harry and Mary (Turnbaugh) Leach.
He worked for Frog Switch, Forrers Garage, Duncannon, and Tuscarora and Juniata townships, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Surviving are his wife, Arvella Burris Leach; five sons, Clarence W. Jr. of Liverpool, Scott R. of Millerstown, Eric A., at home, and John and Roger, address unknown; two daughters, Rose and Tammy; two brothers, Leroy Ebersole of Newport and Curtis Ebersole; two sisters, Rose Smith of Newport and Stella Mae Turner of Shermans Dale; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 28 at Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with the Rev. Tony Hill officiating. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery.

DOUGLAS E. LANDIS
Douglas E. "Pork" Landis, 39, of N. Market St., Liverpool, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000 at home.
He was born Nov. 27, 1960 to Earl L. and Pauline M. (Frey) Landis of Liverpool RR 2.
He was a machinist for Appleton Papers, Inc. of Camp Hill for 20 years; a 1978 graduate of Greenwood High School, Millerstown; a Lutheran; a member of Liverpool Volunteer Fire Company, Liverpool American Legion Post 364, Pennsylvania Dirt Karting Association and a social member of the Order of Owls, Newport; and enjoyed racing of all kinds.
In addition to his parents, surviving are a son, Christopher Allen Landis of Liverpool; three brothers, Steven M. Landis of Liverpool RR 1, Donald L. Landis of McAlisterville RR 1 and Timothy L. Landis of Liverpool RR 2; and two goddaughters, Taylor and Morgan Lower of Liverpool.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Frey and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Landis Sr.
Services were held Jan. 15 in Garman Funeral Home, Liverpool, with the Rev. Peter H. Kuebler officiating.

ESTHER R. LIGHTNER
Esther Ruth Lightner, 67, of Fox Hollow Road, Shermans Dale, died Friday, March 17, 2000 in Carlisle Hospital.
She was born Sept. 10, 1932 in Mechanicsburg to the late William and Bessie (Waddles) Ford.
She retired from the former C.H. Masland & Sons, Carlisle.
She was the widow Victor E. Paulus.
Surviving are her husband of 19 years, Paul S. Lightner; two daughters, Roxanna Paulus Deihl and Patricia A. Shatto, and a son, John B. Deihl, all of Shermans Dale; a brother, Franklin Ford of Carlisle; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Victor E. Paulus Jr., Carl L. Paulus and Berry Paulus.
Services were held March 21 in Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle, with the Rev. Ronald Doverspike officiating. Burial was in Youngs United Methodist Church Cemetery, Shermans Dale.
