She was 79 years old. Edna was born February 17, 1923 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Listman.

She is the beloved wife of the late Philip A. Korndaffer.

Edna was born and raised in Philadelphia and worked for many years as a data entry typist for the Sears and Roebuck Company at Adams Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard. She was formerly a resident of West Kensington, living for many years on the 3000 block of Emerald Street before moving to Harleysville in 2000. Edna was a member of St. Michael’s Evangelical Lutheran Church during the years that she was a resident of Philadelphia.

Relatives and friends were invited to call Friday, January 24, 2003, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Advent Lutheran Church, 470 Landis Road, Harleysville. Relatives and friends were invited to her funeral service Friday, January 24, 2003, at 10:00 A.M. at Advent Lutheran Church. Interment at Forest Hills Cemetery in Lower Moreland followed the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Advent Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 470 Landis Road, Harleysville, Pa. 19438.

Halbert R. Bloom

December 4, 1916 - January 21, 2003

Halbert R. He is the beloved husband of Jean Bloom (nee Long); father of Dale Bloom, Craig Bloom and Mark Bloom; he is also survived by his brothers.

Hal was an educator for over 35 years and a W.W.II Army Air Force Veteran.

She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She is the sister of Doris Praedinger, James L. Collier, Virginia Keppol, Margaret Meskill, Edward Collier and Marie Cruz.

Patricia was a former employee and volunteer at Jeanes Hospital.

Relatives and friends were invited to call Saturday, January 25, 2003, from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge. Sonia Dolores Barichovich de Rodriguez

Grace was born and raised in Philadelphia and was a graduate of Dobbins Technical High School. She worked as a machine operator in clothing manufacturing along with other jobs during her working career. She was a member of the Order of Pocahontas.

Interment at Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville followed the Funeral Service.

He is the beloved husband of the late Barbara T. Thorpe; father of Edwin T. Thorpe III, Diane Leslie Thorpe and Mary Ellen Mcleod; grandfather of Jeremy T. Thorpe, Daniel B. Milks, Kyle R. Thorpe and Kelly A. Thorpe; brother of Ruth Woodward, Roy Thorpe and Mary Thorpe.

During his working career Edwin was a teacher. He taught for many years at The Jones Junior High School in Philadelphia. He was formerly of Independence Avenue in Roslyn. Edwin was a longtime member of Roslyn Presbyterian Church and a member of the Lions Club of Glenside / Roslyn. He
served in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1946.

Relatives and friends were invited to his memorial service Thursday, January 27, 2005, at 2:00 P.M. at Roslyn Presbyterian Church, Easton Road & Tyson Avenue, Abington. Interment was private.

Wilbur worked as a machinist at SPS Technologies / Precision Casting Corp. He was a member of St. John of the Cross Church.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing Friday, January 28, 2005, from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M. and to his funeral mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. John Of The Cross R. C. Church, 2840 Woodland Road, Roslyn. Interment was private.
