Born May 31, 1916, in Spring Twp., Snyder County, she was a daughter of the late William B. and Edith (Klingler) Snook. In 1933, she married Myrl E. McGlaughlin, who resides at Grayson View, Selinsgrove.

Also surviving are: a daughter and son-in-law, Myrletta M. and Norman E. Kline, McClure; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tony N. and Eugenie, and Keith E. and Kathryn McGlaughlin, all of McClure; seven grandchildren, Dayna, Kim, Tamra, Shawn, Shane, Tim, and Ryan; 14 great-grandchildren, Jodi, Denise, Jennifer, Kara, Brandon, Taryn, Mackenzie, Justice, Carter, Conor, Maura, Sydney, Logan, and Brody; five great-great-grandchildren, Emily, Jonathan, Mason, Luke, and Preston; and a sister, Julia O. Hawk, McClure.

She was a member of Mt. Bethel UCC Church, McClure, where she taught Sunday School for over 50 years, played piano and organ, sang in the choir, and was a member of the Pollyanna Sunday School Class and Women's Guild.

She served as a teacher's aide at West Beaver Elementary School for 14 years. She was a member of the McClure Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary for many years.

She graduated from McClure High School in 1934.

Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Mt. Bethel UCC, McClure, with Rev. Donald Wise officiating. Interment will be in McClure Union Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Thursday at the McClure Chapel of Aurand Funeral Homes, N. Brown St., McClure, the family will be present from 7-9 p.m.

A viewing will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the church.

Russell James McMahon Sr.

Born May 30, 1950, in Burnham, he was a son of the late Ray C. (Haines) McMahon of Burnham. His wife, Cherrie K. (Stricker) McMahon, whom he married Feb. 22, 1969, survives.

Also surviving are: three children, Mrs. Jeffrey (Michelle) Gardner, Lewistown, Russell J. McMahon Jr., Burnham and Mrs. Richard (Renee) Rowe, Lewistown; two brothers, Ray K. McMahon, Lansing, MI, and Dennis L. McMahon, Red Oak, TX; a sister, Mrs. Michael (Annie) Evans, McAlisterville; and six grandchildren.

He worked as a second shift lead man in the transportation department of Standard Steel, Burnham for 32 years, from 1971 until his death.

He was president of Blue Rock Sportsmen's Club, Milroy, a life member in the National Rifle Association, a member of the Oriental Sportsman's Club, Juniata County, a life member at Burnham Fire Company, a member of United Steelworkers Local 1940 and an avid hunter and fisherman.

His funeral service is at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home with Pastor Gary D. Yoder and Pastor Lisa G. Yoder officiating. Interment will be in Birch Hill Cemetery, Burnham.

Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Alberta R. Barklow McKee
LEWISTOWN - Alberta R. Born July 3, 1917, in Burnham, she was a daughter of the late Charles F. Barklow, Sr., and Ellen R. (Sommers) Barklow. Her husband, Harry W. McKee, whom she married April 25, 1943, survives.

Also surviving are: a brother, Charles F. Barklow, Jr., 112 W. Colonial Dr., Reedsville; two nephews and one niece, C. Richard Hoy, Clarksville, TN, Janet D. Hoy Maben, Milroy and Gary L. Hoy, Lewistown.

She was a graduate of Burnham High School and was the school's Alumni Association Founder and First President. She was a graduate of Penn State University, earning both a Bachelor and Masters degree in Psychology.

During World War II she worked at the Baltimore Shipyards. She then worked in the Metallurgical Dept. of Standard Steel, for 20 years, and was last employed as an Employee Relations Representative for the Employment Dept. of the Pennsylvania State Government, from which she retired.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Lewistown. She also taught Teen Age Class at Strodes Mills Baptist Church and was church secretary for many years.

She served the United Way of Lewistown for more than 40 years. She was a past chairman and active in Kid Connection. She was a member of Business and Professional Women's Club and was 1975 Women of the year. She also taught the literacy program at the Lewistown Library and was a member of Lewistown Country Club and was an avid golfer.

Her funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with Rev. John S. Walters officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Gordon S. McKee

He was a truck driver and mechanic, having worked for Hill's and Womeldorf Trucking and Overhead Door Corp. He last worked as terminal manager for Rollins Leasing until his retirement.

He was a member of Mt. Rock Evangelical Methodist Church, and was active in church functions and grounds keeping. He was a member of both the Teamsters and Carpenters Unions. He was an avid auto racing and Penn State fan and was devoted to his family.

His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown with Rev. Rolland T. Pecht officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Born May 24, 1937, in Derry Township, he was a son of the late Howard P. Sr. and Aretta M. (Norris) McMinn. His wife, Marygrace (Dalby) McMinn, whom he married March 30, 1957, survives.

Also surviving are: two daughters, Christine Yohn, Reedsville, and Mrs. Jeffrey E. (Danelle) McMinn Flint, Harrisburg; three sisters and one brother, Anna Mary O'Donnell, and Janet E. Kearns, both of Lewistown, Howard P. "Reggie" McMinn, Jr., and wife JoAnn, Yeagertown, and Melissa Parson and husband Louie, McClure; and two grandsons, Trevor and Jordan Yohn.

He graduated in 1955 from Chief Logan High School. He earned a B.S. in Education from Lock Haven State in 1964 and earned a Masters of Education from Shippensburg State College in 1967.

He was a school teacher for the Mifflin County School District for 31 years, retiring in 1994. He was last employed part-time as a delivery person at Benfer's Furniture, Beaver Springs.

He was a member of Parkview Church of the Brethren. He was a Sunday School Superintendent, Board Chairman, Deacon, Worship Leader and various other positions. He was a member of Mifflin County School Retirees.

His funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with Pastor Michael C. Manthos officiating. Private interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.

She received an Associate's Degree from Greenfield Community College in Greenfield, MA, and graduated cum laude from Salem State College with a BA in history in 1987.

She was employed for many years at the Bayridge Hospital in Lynn, MA as a mental health counselor. She did missionary work at a shelter in Amsterdam and was also a park interpreter for Metro Parks of Boston. She was a certified scuba diver and enjoyed mountain climbing with her mother.

She was a member of the Orthodox Congregational Church of Lanesville in Gloucester, MA.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 5, in the Little Valley Presbyterian Church, 1392 Vira Road, two miles beyond Freedom Ave., Burnham. Interment will follow in the Little Valley Presbyterian Cemetery.

Ralph T. Metz Sr.
ALLENSVILLE - Ralph T.
