Born June 4, 1925 in Racine, OH, the daughter of the late William & Suzie (Hoback) Gainer.

Mrs. Droz enjoyed sewing & gardening.

She is survived by 3 sons, David C. Droz & wife Linda of Waterford, MI, Don W. Droz of New Sewickley Twp., & Daniel E. Droz & wife Debbie of New Sewickley Twp. ; brother, Marcus Gainer of Hershey; 3 sisters, Marie Bush, Grace Holder, & Barbara Norris all of Ohio. Also survived by 9 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren.

Born August 21, 1927 in Huntersville, WV, he was the son of the late Delbert W. & Virgie Slayton Ray. Mr. Ray was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean War and was a member of the Chicora American Legion. He retired in 1988 from the Berry Metal Company, Harmony. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Riverview, Ellwood City.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel (Mullenax) Ray, whom he married August 29, 1950; a son, William “Joe” Ray of North Sewickley Twp. ; a brother, Robert Ray of Elkins, WV; a sister, Arlene Rape of Zelienople; and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded by 2 sisters and a brother.

Friends will be received 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday at Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Svcs., Inc., 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

Funeral services 11:00 AM Thursday, July 14 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Hockenberry, officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Free Methodist Church of Riverview, Ellwood City, PA 16117.

Richardson of Fombell; brother of Kevin, Jim, and Brian Richardson, and Janine Depkon; loving grandfather of Hayden and Paige Gruver. Ken was employed at Ritter Engineering.

Friends will be received 7-9 PM Wednesday at Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Svcs., Inc., 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

On Thursday, July 14, 2005, resident of Sherwood Oaks, Cranberry Twp. PA, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, PA, Westmoreland Co.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Jessie Lawson Cooper and husband, Oliver S. Shields, Esq. Surviving are her son, James M. (Barbara) Shields, Sr. and grandson, James M. Shields, Jr. as well as nephews and cousins.

Rosemary, along with her husband, Oliver, were members of Pike Country Club, the Duquesne Club, and the University Club.

She graduated magnum cum laude from Allegheny College and taught at Ramsay High School. She was a lifetime member of Reunion Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant. During her lifetime, she was also a volunteer for many years at Frick Memorial Hospital.

Services and interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, will be private.

He is survived by his wife, Norma J. (Leacock) Caton; 4 Daughters, Loretta Counihan, Missy Caton, Tammy Nanni, & Johnna Barns; brother, Roy A. Caton & his wife Carol; 2 sisters, Cindy Berryman & Michele Shrewsbury & her husband Bob; 7 step children, Chuckie, Jim, Gary, Brian, & John Sites, Sarah Nolte, and Chuck Laughner. Also survived by 32 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 3 nephews, & 2 nieces.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by step-mother Ruth Caton.

Mr. Luktisch was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Conway and the Lynwood, CA Masonic Lodge.

In addition to his mother who lives in Tionesta, he is survived by his wife, Rita J. Luktisch whom he married Dec. 23, 1962; a daughter, Renee A. Freed and her husband, Raymond E. of North Canton, OH; a son, Robert S. Luktisch of Vanderbilt, PA; a sister, Maryann Haramic of Beaver, PA; three grandchildren, Rochelle Freed, Raymond Freed, and Ryan Freed. He was predeceased by a brother, Peter G. Luktisch.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Wednesday, July 27th at Our Lady Of Peace Catholic Church, 1000 Third Ave., Conway, with Fr. Bob Guay, officiating.

Burial will be in the St. Jacqueline Cemetery, Tidioute, PA.

Richard Howard Kennedy

Born January 23, 1932 in Erie, PA, he was the son of the late Adrian L. & Leona A. Kennedy.

He graduated from Academy High School & attended Syracuse and Gannon Universities. He was a US Navy Korean War Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Alice Kennedy; daughter, Colleen Ann “Joey” Hamilton & her husband, Robert of Cranberry Twp., PA and son, Michael Kennedy & his wife, Julie of Carbondale, CO; four step children, Lawrence Zeiser & his wife, Susan of Edinboro, Karen Brasington & her husband, Michael of Erie, Deborah Lopez of Erie, Renae Dawley & her husband, Terry of Wattsburg, PA; two brothers, Terry Kennedy of Elton, IL and Jeffery Kennedy of, Erie; three sisters, Sheila Bula of Erie, Vicki Cavanaugh and Charlotte Kennedy, both of Pittsburgh; also 15 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. He was predeceased by a sister, Denise Kennedy.

Mr. Kennedy owned & operated Millcreek Paving Co., Inc. & Kennedy Maintenance Contractors and is retired from Howard Hanna Realty Services, Commercial Division.

Richard served on the Board of Directors of the Achievement Center and was a volunteer “Patient Transporter” for Shriner’s Hospital.

He was a Life-Member Perry/Keystone Lodge #392 F&AM, Life-Member & Past Monarch Erepa Grotto, member, Ancient Accepted Acottish Rite, Life-Member Zem Zem Temple Shrine, Zem Zem Legion of Honor, Korean Was Veterans Assoc., Life-Member, BPO Elks #67, Life-Member & past Vice President of Erie Maennerchor, Life-member “Times Old Newsies”, American Legion Post #24, Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, Life Member & past President of Flaming Zucors.

A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM on Sat. Aug. 6, 2005 in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 905 W. 7th St., Erie, PA 16505. Masonic Services will precede the funeral service at 10:15 AM in the Parlor of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Powers was a member of Madonna Church & Beaver Methodist Church. She was a member of BPOE Ladies Auxillary, Elks Ladies Bowling League, and Rochester Business & Professional Womens Club. She was a Keypunch Operator, employed by Brighton-by-Products Inc.

She is survived by her stepdaughter, Barbara A. Boylan of Zelienople; stepson, John Powers of Pittsburgh; a brother, Victor Beck of Clarksville, IN; 5 step grandchildren and 4 step greatgrandchildren.

Friends will be received 10 AM-12 Noon Friday at Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home Inc. 219 E. Grandview Ave. Zelienople where funeral services will follow at noon with Pastor Wilfred J. Goetze officiating.

Burial will be in the Beaver Cemetery, Beaver.
