She is the beloved wife of the late Jacob Ferenz and the late Ernest Kiefer; loving mother of Ronald Ferenz and his wife Denise and Christine Bizup and her husband Ray; dedicated grandmother of Tracy Noga and Danielle Bizup; great grandmother of three; sister of Maria Schnell and Elizabeth Fleischer and aunt of Inge Beer.

Katherine became a naturalized citizen of the U.S. in 1969. She was a member of the Neshaminy Senior Activity Center. Katherine loved her family, helping others, casino trips, Bingo and baking.

Relatives and friends were invited to call Thursday, February 19, 2004, from 6:30 to 7:30 P.M. and to her funeral service at 8:00 P.M. at the New Apostolic Church - Feasterville, 1441 Bridgetown Pike, Feasterville. Relatives and friends were invited to her graveside service Friday, February 20, 2004, at 11:00 A.M. at Resurrection Cemetery, Hulmeville Road, Bensalem.

Jerry Kohut

May 11, 1915 - February 16, 2003

He is the beloved husband of Anna; father of Vera Kohut and Peter Kohut.

Jerry was born, raised and educated in Europe and emigrated to the United States. He worked as a supervisor for P.N.B. Bank in Philadelphia and was active in the Philadelphia Rose Society and the Ukrainian Cultural Center. He was a member of the Tabor Lutheran Church and the Cannstatter Volksfest Verein.

Relatives and friends were invited to call Thursday, February 20, 2003, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge. Otto was born and raised in Philadelphia and attended Dobbins Technical High School in the city. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958. He was employed as a warehouse manager for Computer Components Company of Philadelphia during his working career.

Antoniette J. Gerlach

Antoniette J. Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing Saturday, February 21, 2004, from 9:15 to 11:00 A.M. and her funeral mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Hilary of Poitiers R.C. Church, 820 Susquehanna Road, Rydal. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham Avenue, Cheltenham followed the funeral mass.

His Masonic Service took place Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. and was followed by his funeral service at 10:30 A.M.. Interment at Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge followed the services.

Thomas was a SEPTA bus driver during his working career.

Friends were invited to call Tuesday, February 20, 2001, from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home and Wednesday, February 21, 2001, from 9:00 to10:00 A.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home. Interment at Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn followed the Funeral Services.

William A. Davenport, Jr.

July 1, 1906 - February 18, 2004

William A. He is the husband of the late Vivian S. Davenport; father of Scott W. Davenport and his wife Barbara J. and Judith G. Beals and her husband Dennis K. He is also survived by his four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brother of Jeanne Sykes.

William was a former resident and councilman in the Borough of Rockledge where he was active in the Fourth of July Celebration. He and his wife later moved to Huntingdon Valley and Bensalem. He was a member of PA Meridian Sun Lodge #2 F. and A. M. William was a retiree of Simonds Abrasive Company where he was a Purchasing Agent for forty-three years.

Services and interment were private at the family’s request.

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the American Red Cross of Bucks County, 1909 New Rodgers Road, Levittown, PA 19056.

Joseph R. Barder
February 11, 2001

Joseph R. He is the Dear friend and loving companion of Mary Messatzzia.

Joe grew up in Clarks Summit. Pa., a small suburb of Scranton. His father, Dr. Joseph J. Joe lived with his mother, her parents and her sister in a comfortable, warm home. He graduated from Clarks Summit High School in 1942. During his boyhood and early youth, he was an avid reader, mostly of books about travel, adventure and exploration. He chanced upon the travel books of Richard Halliburton, who graduated from Princeton University in 1921, and this inspired Joe to apply to Princeton, where he arrived in 1942. He majored in art and archaeology and, upon graduation in 1946, he took a position in the statistical department of I.N.A. Insurance Company in Philadelphia.

Joe always retained his love of travel and in 1961 realized his first big adventure, flying to Tahiti. Since then he has traveled to many areas in the South Pacific, including the Marquesas, Easter Island, New Zealand, Australia and Papua-New Guinea. He also visited China, Tibet, Nepal, India, Pakistan, the Seychelles, East Africa, Lebanon, Kuwait, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Africa, Egypt, Tunisia and Morroco. He took early retirement at age fifty five and had spent quite a bit of time in Scotland, Shetland, the Orkneys and the Outer Hebrides. His dream was to sit in front of a peat fire, somewhere in Shetland, with his good friend Mary, his pipe and a wee dram or two. His was not a perfect life, but he did what he wanted to.

Relatives and friends were invited to his Funeral Service Thursday, February 15, 2001, at 8:00 P.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 6902 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia. Friends were invited to call Thursday, February 15, 2001, from 6:30 - 8:00 P.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home. Graveside Services were Friday, February 16, 2001, at 12 Noon at Forest Hills Cemetery in Dunmore, Pennsylvania.

Wolfram A. He was 64 years old. Wolfram was born September 18, 1936 in Berlin, Germany, son of the late Albert Piechotta and Irmgard Piechotta (nee - Teschner).

He is the beloved husband of Margarete ("Mausi") Piechotta; Father of Monica Sechrist, Peter Piechotta and Albert Piechotta; Grandfather of David, Brian, Brandon and Danny Sechrist and Liam Piechotta; Son of Irmgard Piechotta; Brother of Dieter Piechotta and Peter Piechotta.

Wolfram was born and raised in Berlin, Germany, where he completed his schooling with an apprenticeship as an electrician. From 1956 until 1958 he was a member of the Berlin Bereitschafts Polizei.

In 1958 he emigrated to the United States, settling in Philadelphia where he held various jobs until 1963 when he and two partners founded the Hyde Electric Company. They operated the business on N. Lawrence Street in the Olney section of the city and, as the company prospered, they moved to East Falls. He retired from the company in 2000. Wolfram was active in German organizations, including the Hermann Lodge No.125 F.& A.M., where he was Worshipful Master in 1971, and the Vereinigung Erzgebirge in Warminster, Pa.

Friends were invited to call Thursday, February 22, 2001, from 5:30 to 8:30 P.M. at the Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 North Easton Road, Willow Grove. A masonic service was held at 8:30 P.M. Thursday at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home. Friends were also invited Friday, February 23, 2001, from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at the Family of God Lutheran Church, 4770 Rt. 202, Buckingham. His Funeral Service was Friday, February 23, 2001, at 10:00 A.M. at the Family of God Lutheran Church, Buckingham. Interment at Doylestown Cemetery followed the Funeral Services.

The interment at Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville followed the services.
