Mrs. Schaeffer graduated from Blairsville High School with the class of 1943 and was very active with the class reunion committee.
She had worked for the Blairsville-Saltsburg School district as a cook, retiring in 1982.
Surviving are two children, Mark Schaeffer and his wife, Colleen, Blairsville, PA and Marna Jones and her husband, Denny, West Wheatfield Twp., PA;four grandchildren, twins, Shelly and Sheila Jones and twins, Adam and Cory Schaeffer; and a sister, Theresa Conn, North Huntington Twp., PA.

Hazel M. The daughter of Elmer W. and Alverta L. Wolford Embick, she was born April 29, 1925 in Carroll, Clinton Co., PA.
Mrs. Ewing attended school in Centre County and Transylvania Bible School in Freeport, PA.
She was a member of the Oak Grove Wesleyan Methodist Church, Mercer, PA and a former member of the Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church, Blairsville, PA. She had been active in both churches Women’s Missionary Societies and at Blairsville taught Sunday school for many years.
Mrs. Ewing was a homemaker. She enjoyed crafting, visiting with family and friends and talking with her relatives on the telephone. She especially enjoyed her many friends while at the Lakeview Manor in Stoneboro.
She is survived by one son, William N. Ewing and wife, Cinda J. of Stoneboro; three grandsons, Christopher W. Ewing, Kenton G. Ewing and Tyler G. Ewing all of Stoneboro; sister, Wanda L. Ewing of Clarksburg, PA and two brothers, Ralph Embick and wife, Dorothy of Loganton, PA and Paul Embick and wife, Peg of Renovo, PA

Prior to his retirement in 1982, he was employed by Stutzman Bros. Farms, Indiana, PA and he was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Mary Ellen Duncan Miller to whom he married July 28, 1955; two sons, Ronald E. Miller, Black Lick, PA and Mark Miller and his wife, Peggy, Lucernemines, PA and a daughter, Tammy Blattenberger and her husband, Fred, Black Lick, PA; two grandchildren, Brandon Blattenberger and Eric Blattenberger;
and a sister, Linda Merritt, Derry, PA.

He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army.

Prior to her retirement in 1990, she worked as a waitress and cashier at Dean’s Diner, Blairsville, PA for 30 years.

Surviving are his mother, Mabel J. Goodlin Grdgon, Blairsville, PA; three sons, Daniel Grdgon, St. Petersburg, Florida; John K. Grdgon, Santa Cruz, California; Joseph L. Grdgon, Hobart, Indiana; a daughter, Kathleen Cozmonoff and her husband, Kenneth, Portage, Indiana; three stepsons, Richard T. Elliott, Blairsville, PA; Lawrence E. Elliott, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; James A. McAdams, Blairsville, PA; a stepdaughter, Kim Shacreaw, New Alexandria, PA; six grandchildren;
two brothers, Robert W. Gurgon, Blairsville, PA and Michael J. Grdgon, Hobart, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Patricia Cronin Chiesa to whom he married December 10, 1952; a son, John “Jack” Chiesa, Jr. and his wife, Janice of South Park, PA; two daughters, Linda Hines and her husband, Dale of New Derry, PA and Karen Chiesa of Latrobe, PA; he was known affectionately as “Dummy” to his five grandchildren, Jason Hines, Jared Hines, Patrick Chiesa, Christie Chiesa and Brennan Klimchock; and a brother, Jim Campbell of Blairsville, PA.

Bukoskey; four brothers, Dick Bukoskey and his wife, Della of Tonawanda, NY; Bernard Bukoskey and his wife, Sheila of Tonawanda, NY; Tom Bukoskey and his wife, Candy of North Tonawanda, NY and Clair Bukoskey and his wife, Cathy of Everette, Washington; three sisters, Pauline Fetterman and her husband, Chuck of North Tonawanda, NY; Eleanor Belloli and her husband, John of Eastlake, Ohio and Mary Ann Varholic and her husband, Frank of Homer City, PA.
