John F. Ciccarelli, age 60, of 49 Midland Drive, Chambersburg, PA, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday morning, June 4, 2008 at home. Born December 30, 1947 in Huntingdon, PA, he was a son of the late William and Yolanda Sisto Ciccarelli. John was a 1965 graduate of Huntingdon High School and attended technical school at Williamsport Community College. He served with the National Guard in Huntingdon for 20 years. He worked at Office Suppliers, then opened his own business, Ciccarelli Office Machines, which he operated for 10 years in Chambersburg. He was currently employed as a maintenance mechanic at Knouse Foods in Chambersburg. John was a devoted member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 1426, Chambersburg, PA. He enjoyed bowling, playing poker, going to Bingo, watching Pittsburgh Steelers games, but most importantly, John enjoyed being with his family.
A devoted husband and father, he is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Huhn Ciccarrelli, whom he married November 8, 1969; three children, Michelle Eyer and husband Christian of Chambersburg, Theresa Oller and husband Richard of Fayetteville, and Angela Ciccarelli of Chambersburg; four grandchildren, Devin Eyer, Colby Eyer, Dominick Lehman, and Savannah Oller; and two brothers, William Ciccarelli and wife Cathy of Chambersburg, and James Ciccarelli and wife Sue of Lafayette, Indiana. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch">death by a sister, Joanne Leasure, and a grandson, Damian Ciccarelli. John will be greatly missed by all.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. James R. O'Brien at 10 AM Monday, June 9, 2008 in Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, PA. Interment will follow in Corpus Christi Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 PM Sunday in Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home.

John C. Cramer
February 28, 1929 - June 4, 2008
John C. Cramer, 79, of 462 East Washington Street, Chambersburg, PA, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch">died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at home. Born February 28, 1929 in Mercersburg, he was a son of the late Elmer G. "Mike" and Izzetta Straley Cramer. John was a 1948 graduate of the former Chambersburg High School. He served in the US Air Force for 22 years, retiring in 1970 at the rank of Master Sergeant. During his military career, he served in Turkey, the Philippines, and 2 tours in Korea. He was a life member of the Charles Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW, Burt J. Asper Post 46 American Legion, and Hume-McNeil-Byers AMVETS Post 224, all in Chambersburg. He was also a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, the Air Force Sergeants Association, National Association Uniform Services, and T.R.E.A.
John is survived by a sister; Janet Love and husband William of Dale City, VA, a brother, Gilbert G. Cramer of Edenville, PA; four nephews, Randy Love of Fairhope, AL, Scott Love of McDonough, GA, Ian Love of Fairhope, AL, and Gary Cramer of Fayetteville, PA; two nieces, Sally Pierpoint of Manassas, VA and Janice Cramer of Edenville, PA, and a number of great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, June 9, 2008 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Rick Noll will officiate. Interment with military honors by members of Charles Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, there will be no public viewing.

Edna I. McKenrick
Edna I. McKenrick, 91, a resident of ManorCare Health Services, Chambersburg, formerly of 5500 Lincoln Way East, Fayetteville, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch">died Oct. 26 at her residence.
Born Feb. 21, 1912 in Fayetteville, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Florence A. Bohn Fickes. She was married to Raphael F. McKenrick, who Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch">died Aug. 21, 1967.
Mrs. McKenrick was a seamstress at the former Stanley Co., Chambersburg, before retiring. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Chambersburg, where she was a member of its Columbian Ladies. She was also a member of Falling Spring Chapter No. 2840 AARP, Chambersburg. She attended the Franklin County Senior Center and enjoyed playing cards.
Mrs. McKenrick is survived by two daughters, Irene F. Perry and Catherine F. Rosenberry, both of Chambersburg; two sons, Lloyd F. McKenrick of Scotland and James A. McKenrick of Fayetteville; a sister, Rhoda Lentz of Quincy; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 30 with Re. James R. O’Brien officiating. Interment will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Orrtanna.
Friends may call on Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 7-9 p.m. at Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday evening in the funeral home.

Alice Mae Horst
January 12, 1920 - June 3, 2008
Alice Mae Horst, 88, a resident of Menno Haven and formerly of 4994 Cumberland Highway, Chambersburg, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch">died at 7:30 PM, Tuesday, June 3, 2008 in Menno Haven, where she resided for the past 2 ½ years. Born January 12, 1920 in Shippensburg, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Alice Martin. Alice had attended the Rowe School near Pinola. A homemaker most of her life, she was a member of the Chambersburg Mennonite Church and was active with the church's sewing circle. She enjoyed crocheting. Her husband, H. Alice is survived by a three sons, Joel Blaine Horst and wife Judy, Jere Allen Horst and wife Doreen, and Vernon Daniel Horst and wife Luanne, a daughter, Virginia Mae Frey and husband Herbert, all of Chambersburg, thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren. Friends may view one hour prior to the service in church on Sunday.

Rosemary Maxine Rosenberry
September 28, 1941 - June 3, 2008

Born September 28, 1941 in Franklin County, PA, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Rosella Blubaugh Rosenberry. A 1959 graduate of Greencastle Antrim High School, she went on to graduate from the King's Daughters Hospital School of Nursing in Martinsburg. She was last employed by Berryville Graphics in Berryville, VA as a proofreader, retiring in 2004. Prior to working in Berryville, she had been employed as a registered nurse at West Virginia University Hospital. She had a life-long love of books and animals and enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by a brother, Ronald J. Rosenberry and wife Jean of Waynesboro, PA; a sister, Debora Rosenberry of Boyce, VA; a niece, Marybeth Rosenberry, and a nephew, Michael Rosenberry.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 AM Friday, June 6, 2008 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. Interment will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Russell C. Cameron
October 2, 1940 - June 3, 2008

Born in Johnstown, PA he was a son of the late George E. and Lillian M. (Horner) Cameron. He Vietnam Veteran and serving in the U.S. Army. He retired from the Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters: Anita K. Chandler of Ijamsville, MD, Katia Cameron of Chambersburg, two sons: Rusty G. Cameron, and Matthew Cameron both of Chambersburg, three grandsons Justin and Joshua Chandler and Jacob Ayton. He is also survived by a sister Sally Rodgers and four brothers: Ira, Harry, Donald, and Richard Cameron.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 9, 2008 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and one hour prior to the funeral on Monday.

Stephen Golya Jr.
August 19, 1928 - June 1, 2008
Stephen Golya Jr., 79, of 81 Field Circle, Chambersburg, PA, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch">died Sunday, June 1, 2008 in York Hospital. Born August 19, 1928 in Moosic, PA, he was a son of the late Stephen and Ann Potosky Golya. He served in the United States Air Force and was later employed with the United States Postal Service, retiring as Postmaster in Gettysburg, PA. Stephen was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Chambersburg and numerous other civic organizations. An avid artist, he enjoyed painting with watercolors and was an active member of the Valley Art Association in Hagerstown, MD, the Studio Arts Club in Waynesboro, PA, and the Franklin County Art Alliance.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Bernice Lasak Golya, whom he married September 5, 1949, a son, Stephen Golya III and wife Nancy of Baltimore, MD, and five grandchildren; Kelly, Andrew, Austin, Katie, and Lauren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch">death by a daughter, Ann Marie Bennett in 1995, three sisters, and two brothers.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Rev. James R. O'Brien at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 7, 2008 in Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, PA. Private interment with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church Parish Center.

Murray E. Shaw
February 23, 1932 - July 23, 2008
Murray E. Shaw, 76, of Chambersburg, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at home. Born on February 23, 1932 in South Paris, Maine, he was a son of the late Marian Simpson Shaw and Harold Shaw.
Murray graduated from high school in 1950 and he served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. After serving in the Navy he attended the University of Maine, where he was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity and the Alpha Zeta Honor Society. After receiving his degree in Animal Dairy Science in 1959, he worked for Eastern States Farmer's Exchange and Agway before joining the Farmer's Home Administration. Murray moved his family to Chambersburg in 1979, while serving as District Director for Farmer's Home. He was an active member of the Open Door Church, where he was a former deacon and served as chairman of the missions committee. A farmer at heart all of his life, he was a Farmall Tractor enthusiast. He was also very proud of the 1928 Model A Ford, which he purchased from his grandfather at age 16, and then fully restored. An avid woodworker, he enjoyed making furniture and other pieces for his family.
He is survived by his wife of his wife of 52 years, Martha Aldrich Shaw, whom he married in South Paris, ME in 1956; four children, Elizabeth Morrison of Ephrata, PA, Janet Schlotter of Chambersburg, Timothy Shaw of Fairfield, and Andrew Shaw of Carlisle; one brother, Harold Shaw Jr. of South Paris, ME.; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch">death by his sister, Jean Armistead.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 26, 2008 in the Open Door Church, 600 Miller Street Chambersburg. The Rev. Mike Sanders will officiate. Interment will follow in Lincoln Cemetery, with military honors conducted by members of the Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post 1599 Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday in the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, and also one hour prior to the service in the church.
