Mr. Luketich was born June 2, 1949, in Punxsutawney, the son of the late William G. and Virginia Truance Luketich.

He was married Sept. 9, 1995, to Tammie Dotts, who survives.

Mr. Luketich was a member of the Rossiter Legion, F.O. Eagles 1231 and the Rossiter Am/Vets.

He was a retired sign foreman for PennDOT where he worked for 28 1/2 years.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Luketich is survived by two daughters, Nicole Luketich of Rochester Mills and Candace Stewart of Punxsutawney; two sisters, Sherri Matoka and husband Ted of Punxsutawney and Debbie Luketich of Rossiter; a special friend, Sammy Jo of Rossiter; a mother-in-law, Janet and Fran Sessi of Indiana; a father-in-law, Quinn Dotts and companion Susan Stanley of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Tim Dotts and wife Karen of Indiana; and three sisters-in-law, Sandi Neigh and husband Larry of Las Vegas, Nev., Lisa Gazda and husband Mike of Shelocta, and Robin Placko of Indiana.

He was preceded in Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch">death by his parents.

Friends will be received form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at the funeral home with Pastor Robert D. Bish officiating.

Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in Mr. Luketich's memory to Punxsutawney Hospice.

Iro Leasure, 71

Iro Leasure, 71, Rochester Mills, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch">died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Leasure was born Feb. 25, 1932, in Athens, Greece, the daughter of the late Dennis and Nota Caponis.

She married Phillip B. Leasure of Rochester Mills, who survives.

In 1942, her homeland was invaded by the Nazi Army, causing much fear and grief. As she grew from and enjoyed the experience of Europe - namely the Greek culture - she obtained a love and appreciation of the ocean, the fine arts and classical music, and she completed 13 years of concert piano instruction.

All of these experiences contributed to her craving for the life she could only dream of. Mrs. Leasure spoke five languages fluently, which proved to be yet another asset in the following of that dream to live in a free America. She found that dream in a small town in Pennsylvania, where she incorporated her cultural expressions with her newly-adopted and genuinely-loved country.

In that small town, Mrs. Leasure enjoyed her life, family, friends, associates and career with the same love, tenacity, intensity and enthusiasm she will always be remembered from in Greece and the United States.

Mrs. Leasure worked as an executive sales manager for Tupperware for more than 20 years. She was a member of the American Diabetes Association and past volunteer of Open Door in Indiana.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Phillis N. Leasure of Rochester Mills and Elizabeth D. Greer of Sterling, Va.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, at the funeral home with the Rev. Timothy Monroe officiating.

Interment will be private.

Howard J. Korsmo, 94

Howard J. Korsmo, 94, Tallmadge, Ohio, Cemetery-obituaries?utm_source=partner_genlookups&utm_medium=partner&utm_campaign=genlookups_July21_textlink&tr_ad_group=textlinks&tr_funnel=supersearch">died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004.

Mr. Korsmo was born May 12, 1909, in Punxsutawney, the son of the late Anna and Thomas Korsmo.

He was married for 66 years to Helen Korsmo, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Korsmo was a former vice-president of manufacturing for the tire division of General Tire. His career in the rubber industry spanned 37 years.

After graduating from Georgia Tech in 1933 with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering, he spent four years as an industrial engineer with Jones & Laughlin Steel before moving to B.F. Goodrich as a time-study engineer.

Mr. Korsmo became factory manager of General Tire's Waco plant in 1951 and remained in that position until September 1968 when he was transferred to Akron.

He was a member of the Tallmadge United Methodist Church.

He is survived by a son, Thomas Korsmo and wife Kay of Temple, Texas; a daughter, Nedra McGrath of Brimfield; three grandsons, Sam and wife Julie of Wasilla, Ark., Scott and wife Sherri of Cameron, Texas, and Eric of Temple; and five great-grandchildren, Chase, Kaila and Zachary, all of Wasilla, Rafn of Cameron, and Hunter of Temple.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, at the Tallmadge United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary Glazor officiating.

Interment will be at Chest Nut Hill Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mr. Korsmo's name to the Tallmadge United Methodist Church, 207 N. Munroe Ave., Tallmadge, Ohio 44278.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hennessy-Bagnoli Funeral Home, Akron.

J. Blair Blose, 87

Mr. Blose was born Jan. 1, 1917, in Eddyville, Armstrong County, the son of the late John and Elsie (Skinner) Blose.

He was married to Lillian Pearl (McGregor) Blose, who survives.

Mr. Blose was a member of B.P.O.E. 301 Elks and the F.O. Eagle 1231 of Punxsutawney.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Maetta Sue Dickey and Darlene K. Shaffer, both of Punxsutawney; five sons, Richard B. Blose, Terry M. Blose, William G. Blose, Barry L. Blose and James L. Blose, all of Punxsutawney; 20 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Williams was born July 14, 1946, in Punxsutawney, the son of Annie Laurie (Crawford) Williams of Punxsutawney and the late Leon S. Williams.

He was a member of the Woodland Avenue United Methodist Church.

Mr. Williams graduated in 1963 from the Punxsutawney Area School District. He attended the University of Pittsburgh, graduating with a B.S. in psychology and a master's degree in business administration.

He was employed by Kaiser Permanente, a health-care organization in Oakland, Calif. His work involved much travel in the continental United States and Hawaii. He retired and returned to Punxsutawney in 1996.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Williams is survived by two sisters, Drinda Weber and husband Harrison of Grove City and Donna Anderson and husband Joel of Punxsutawney; a brother, Darrel Williams and wife Bonnie Park of Bowie, Md.; four nieces, Brandi Mortimer of Butler, Kristi McEwen of Grove City, Shannan Weber of Las Vegas, Nev., and Heather Tate of DuBois; a nephew, Bradley Williams of Bowie; and six great-nieces and nephews.

She was married for 59 years to Lewis L. Bonnett, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Bonnett is survived by two daughters, Lois Faye States of Front Royal, Va., and Marie McCrory and husband Matthew of Tonawanda, N.Y.; a son, Edward L. Bonnett and wife Carol of Punxsutawney; four grandsons; three granddaughters; two great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and a sister, Effie Freiert of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

She devoted her time to her children and grandchildren and loved camping and ceramics.

Mrs. Emberg was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Punxsutawney.

She is survived by three daughters, Cindy Stewart and husband Terry of Rossiter, Pam Hanley and husband Joe and Becky Emberg, all of Punxsutawney; a son, William Emberg and wife Vicky of Cowansville; and seven grandchildren, Greg Huey Jr. and wife Marcie, Michael Stewart, Kelly Huey, and Jennifer, Jillian and Britta Emberg.
