John Allen Hobbs Jr.,

AUGUSTA - John Allen Hobbs Jr., 41, of Cummings Road, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2002, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the Rowland Funeral Home, North Augusta.
Mr. Hobbs was a native of Vermont. He was a nursing assistant.
Survivors include a sister, Karen Williams of North Augusta.
Memorials may be made to the Rainbow Center, 2020 Ingleside Ave., Macon, Ga., 31204.

Andrew P. Christensen
Air Force veteran
Andrew P. Christensen, 40, of Aiken, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2000, at his sister's residence in Swarthmore, Pa. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at James F. Knoetgen Funeral Home, Morton, Pa. Burial will be in the S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Marple Township, Pa.
A native of Ridley Park, Pa., Mr. Christensen was a son of Elmer P. and Olympia Christensen. He was a manager for Westinghouse Savannah River Co.
Mr. Christensen was a 1977 graduate of Ridley High School and a 1981 graduate of Wiedener University with a degree in chemical engineering.
He served in the Air Force. Mr. Christensen was a member of Victory Baptist Church, North Augusta. He was the president of the bowling league in Aiken, coached youth sports and was involved with Market America Business. Surviving are three sons, Andrew P. Christensen Jr, Swarthmore, Pa. and Ryan T. Christensen and Chadd M. Christensen, both of Aiken; one daughter, Anna-Marie K. Christensen, Aiken; three sisters, Gladys T. Cellucci, Swarthmore, Pa., Donna M. Christensen, Oxford, Pa., and Joy E. Sandefur, Powder Springs, Ga., and his fiancee, Sherry Porter, North Augusta. Memorials may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association, 2720 River Road, Des Plaines, IL 60018. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home and from 9-10 p.m. at Calvary Independent Baptist Church in Pennsylvannia.

Carl Travis Gaskins
Carl Travis Gaskins, 18, of Simpsonville, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2000, at the Greenville Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Reach Out Ministries, Barnwell. The Revs. A. D. Hair and Bob Scroggs will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
A native of Aiken, Mr. Gaskins was a son of Clarence Lamar Gaskins and Janice Pate Gaskins Kinard.
He attended Barnwell High School. Surviving are his father and step-mother, Patty Silvas Gaskins, Simpsonville; mother and step-father, Lesley Kinard, Barnwell; one brother, Shawn Lamar Gaskins, Simpsonville; six sisters, Rebecca Scarberry and Angela Roof, both of Columbia, Leslie Kinard and Stephany Kinard, both of North Augusta, Kelly Palmer, Simpsonville, and Michelle Anderson, Augusta, Ga.; paternal grandmother, Lucy Bernice Mitchum, Bamberg; and maternal grandmother, Irene S. Pate, Barnwell. Memorials may be made to the children's hospital of one's choice.

Andrew. J. Giralamo
Andrew J. Giralamo, 75, died Monday Aug. 21, 2000, at University Hospital, Augusta.
Funeral arrangements will be announce by George Funeral Homes, Southside.

Derrick Keith Randall
VARNVILLE - Funeral services for Derrick Keith Randall were to be held at 11 a.m. today at Rivers Funeral Home. Burial was in the Bethany Cemetery.
Mr. Randall, 13, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2000, at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston.
A native of Augusta, he attended 7th grade at Robert Smalls Middle School in Beaufort.

Annie L. Scott Williams
NORTH AUGUSTA - Funeral services for Annie Louise Scott Williams will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Old Storm Branch Baptist Church.
The Rev. Robert Williams will officiate.
Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Williams, 62, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2000, at her residence, 550 Pepper Branch Road. A native of Aiken County, Mrs. Williams was retired from R. E. Phelon.
She was a member of Old Storm Branch Baptist Church and was a member of the sanctuary choir, the Pastor's Aide Club and the Memorial & Beautification Club, Unit #2. Survivors are two sons, Joseph Williams, Miami, Fla., and Robert Williams, Athens, Ga.; three daughters, Brenda Roberts, Millen, Ga., Linda Harmon, Warrenville, and Vanessa Cofer, Graniteville; three brothers, Governor Scott Jr., Aiken, Isaac Scott, Atlanta, and Tillman Scott, Great Neck, N.Y.; six sisters, Sarah Brown, Great Neck, N.Y., Mildred Mckie, Graniteville, Mary A. Riley and Rosa Mae Pickens, both of North Augusta, and Martha Searles and Frances J. Love, both of Bath; and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call at the residence or at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary.

Annie C. Carnes
GLOVERVILLE - Annie Clark Carnes, wife of the late Eulas Carnes, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002.
Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. today at Napier Funeral Home. The Revs. Chris Williams, Phillip Napier and Eddie Moyer were to officiate. Burial was to be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Bath. A daughter of the late Powhattan Clark and the late Ella Clark Clark, Mrs. Carnes was born in Clearwater. She was a lifelong resident of Aiken County
and was retired from the Graniteville Co. Mrs. Carnes was a member of Full Gospel Redemption Center in Langley.
Survivors include a daughter, Alice Cleveland of Aiken; two sons, Robert Clark Sr. of Melbourne, Fla. and Alvin Carnes of Pelion; two sisters, Ida Lee C. Darnell and Lillian C. Napier, both of Gloverville; a brother, Jerry Clark of Gloverville; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Carnes was preceded in death by a son, Wayne White; a daughter, Sandra Satcher; two sisters, Ella Mae Toole and Orena Risinger; and two brothers,
Chester Clark and Billy Clark. Pallbearers were to be Tommy Johnson, Ed Dyer, Jacob Dyer, Bobby Clark Jr., Tony Satcher and Todd Satcher. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville.

Noah T. McIntosh
BEECH ISLAND - Noah Thomas McIntosh, of 320 Indian Mound Drive, died Friday, Sept. 27, 2002.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hatcher Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Harold Joseph "Harry'' McIntosh and Janet Anderson McIntosh; his mother and stepfather, Denise Hendrix Crawford and Ellory Crawford; two brothers, Steven Christopher McIntosh and Daniel Scott McIntosh; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Brigitte Hendrix; a maternal great-grandfather, Gaius Jackson; and stepgrandparents, Sarah Philpott and Harold and Linda Leopard. Gertrude P. Senterfeit
RIDGE SPRING - Gertrude Pilot Senterfeit, 75, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, at the Bryan Nursing Center.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery near Monetta.
A native of Saluda County, Mrs. Senterfeit was a daughter of the late Fayette Jettie and Blanche P. Pilot. She was a member of Kedron Baptist Church. Mrs. Senterfeit was a former textile worker for Graniteville Mills.
Survivors include her husband, Jack R. Senterfeit of Aiken; a daughter, Jacqueline Kneece of Aiken; two stepdaughters, Catherine Boatwright and Barbara Authors, both of Aiken; three stepsons, William, Lamar and Billy Senterfeit, all of Aiken; a great-grandson, Martin Kneece; and nine siblings. Friends may call today from 6-8 p.m. at Cumbee Funeral Home.

Lawrence Franklin Baker Sr.
GRANITEVILLE - Lawrence Franklin Baker Sr., of 911 Chalk Bed Road, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2002.
Private funeral services will be held today with the Rev. Doug Gilliland officiating. Burial will be in the Graniteville Cemetery.
Mr. Baker was born in Graniteville to the late George Phillip and Hattie Williams Baker. He retired from the Medical College of Georgia with 18 years of service. He was a member of the St. John United Methodist Church and the Star Masonic Lodge No. 99, Graniteville.
Survivors include his wife, Erlene Mitchell Baker; a son, Lawrence F. Baker Jr.; a daughter, Deanna Goldman; a brother, Gerald H. Baker; and a granddaughter, Lauren Marie Baker, all of Graniteville.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Douglas Lee Early
Douglas Lee Early, 57, of Fairway Ridge, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2002, at the V.A. Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, at Southlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Swift officiating.
Mr. Early was a professional horse trainer and an Army veteran of Vietnam. He was a Methodist. He was a native of Harrisonburg, Va.
Survivors include his mother, Rebecca S. Early of Mt. Crawford, Va.; a son, Stuart Early of Aiken; two brothers, Don Early of Staunton, Va., and Dan Early of Stuarts Draft, Va.; and a sister, Gail Sykes of Richmond, Va.
The family is at the home of Thalia Stoddard, 2226 Hillsdale Drive, in the Foxchase Subdivision in Aiken, and will receive friends at her residence today from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Hitchcock Foundation, P.O. Box 1702, Aiken, 29802.

WILLISTON - Funeral services for J. Norman Folk Jr., 82, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2002, at the Folk Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in the Williston Cemetery.

David Johnson
GRANITEVILLE - Deacon David Johnson, 86, of 22 Old Graniteville Road, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, at Old Macedonia Baptist Church, Edgefield. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the residence or at the funeral home beginning 2 p.m. today and at the church on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.

John Robert Alford
TRENTON - John Robert Alford, 84, of Sand Rock Way, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital, Augusta.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Alford was retired from Onodaga County, N.Y., and was a native of Binghamton, N.Y.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Cadwell Alford; two daughters, Sandra Mulherin of Trenton and Patricia Deloye of McLeansville, N.C.; a brother, James Alford of Syracuse, N.Y.; a sister, Glory Ruby of Gainesville, Fla.; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Glenn Ralph Bagwell,
U.S. Postal Service retiree
SPARTANBURG - Glenn Ralph Bagwell, 76, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2002, at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Robert C. Morgan will officiate.
Mr. Bagwell was a native and lifelong resident of Spartanburg. He was a son of the late Frank and Lyda Bishop Bagwell. He was an employed by the U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier for 38 years, and retired in 1992. He was a member of the Arkwright Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Ruth Bagwell.
Survivors include a brother, Melvin F. Bagwell of Aiken; a nephew, Stephen Bagwell of Greenwood; two nieces, Debbie Bagwell Bauer of Columbia and Laura Bagwell of Roebuck; a grand-nephew and a grand-niece.
Memorials may be made to Mobile Meals, P.O. Box, 461, Spartanburg, 29304.
The family will receive friends at the Lanford-Pollard Funeral Home today from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Frances Parkman Fallaw
BELVEDERE - Frances Parkman Fallaw, of Edgefield Road, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, at University Hospital, Augusta.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at the First Baptist Church of Belvedere. Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Fallaw was a native of Saluda County. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Belvedere, where she was a member of the Lucy Pearson Sunday school class and the Golden Age Club. She was also a former G.A. leader.
Survivors include a son, Jack E. Fallaw of Charlotte, N.C.; two sisters, Myrtle P. Carter and Evelyn P. Priester, both of Belvedere; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the church, P.O. Box 8168, North Augusta, 29861.
The family will receive friends at the residence, 402 Edgefield Rd., Belvedere, or at Rowland Funeral Home, North Augusta, on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
