Virginia Ruth Lowe
NORTH AUGUSTA - Virginia Ruth Lowe died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000, in Jacksonville, Fla.
Mrs. Lowe, 79, resided at 303 Morgan Ave.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta. The Rev. Dan McMillan will officiate.
A native of South Charleston, W. Va., Mrs. Lowe was a daughter of the late Lewis Averial and Jane Elizabeth Farley. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Lowe was the widow of Amos Raymond Lowe.
Surviving are two daughters, Virginia Rae Giddings, Columbia, and Deanna Miller, Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Gordon Farley, Jacksonville, Fla., and Lawrence Farley, Whiteville, N.C.; four sisters, Nadine Kidd, Palm Bay, Fla., Janice Whitman, Charleston, W.Va., Donna Kidd, Bluefield, W. Va., and Phyllis Bird, Orlando, Fla.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Daryl Giddings II, Edward Giddings, Jeff Peters, Ken Butler, Eric Miller, David Miller, Richard Moore and David Icenhour.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Starling-Hatcher Funeral Home, Augusta.

Arthur J. McDaniel Jr

GRANITEVILLE - Funeral services for Arthur J. (A.J.) McDaniel will be held at 11 a.m. today at Cavalry Baptist Church.
The Revs. Bert Walker and Albert Atkinson will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Mr. McDaniel, 71, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000.
Pallbearers will be past and present deacons of Calvary Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Vision Fund, 20 Second St., Graniteville, S.C., 29829.

Lowell G. Myers,

NORTH AUGUSTA - Memorial services for Lowell G. Myers will be held at 2 p.m. today at Rowland Funeral Home.
The Rev. H.B. Johnston will officiate. Burial will be private.
Mr. Myers, 68, of 1944 Robin Road, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2000, at University Hospital, Augusta.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 115 Greenville St. SW, Aiken, S.C., 29801.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the service today at the funeral home.

Ella Mae Sackel Salley
PERRY - Funeral services for Ella Mae Sackel Salley will be held at 1 p.m. today at St. Dorcas Baptist Church.
The Rev. Henry Murdaugh will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Salley, 51, of 477 Honeysuckle Trail, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2000.
Pallbearers will be her brothers, cousins and friends.

Barbara J. Williams
WARD - Funeral arrangements for Barbara J. Williams will be announced by Davis Funeral Home, Ridge Spring.
Ms. Williams, 50, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2000, at her residence.

Peggy Combs Addley
Peggy Combs Addley died Saturday, April 14, 2001, at Mattie C. Hall Health Care Center.
Mrs. Addley, 69, resided at 222 Hill Ave., Aiken.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Rivers Funeral Home.

Cyril "Punk" Asbill
Cyril "Punk" Asbill died Sunday, April 15, 2001, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
Mr. Asbill, 73, resided at 323 Laurens St., Aiken.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Shellhouse Funeral Home.
Surviving are his widow, Helen Frances Sage Asbill; two daughters, Helen Frances Weimortz, Irmo, and Pamela Jean Parker, Simpsonville; and two grandchildren.

Annie Lou Axson Hodges
GARDEN CITY, Ga. - Annie Lou Axson Hodges died Saturday, April 14, 2001.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Norway Cemetery, Norway.
A native of Orangeburg County, Mrs. Hodges was a daughter of the late Robert Edward Axson and Lizzie Cliffton Axson. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Hodges, Virginia, and Thomas F. Hodges, Nashville, Tenn.; a daughter, Martha "Marti" Brace, Montpelier, Ohio; and two sisters, Florence A. Hartzog, Blackville, and Bertha Summers, Glendale Ariz.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
Folk Funeral Home, Williston, is in charge of arrangements.

Courtney White Page,
Retired salesperson
Courtney White Page died Saturday, April 14, 2001, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
Mrs. Page, 90, resided at 1385 Silver Bluff Road, Aiken.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at Trinity United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dr. Rodney Powell will officiate. Burial will be private.
A native of Seth, W.Va., Mrs. Page was a daughter of the late Blake and Gertrude Coon White. She was a retired salesperson.
Mrs. Page was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was the widow of Al Vadis Page.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 2724 Whiskey Road, Aiken, SC 29803.

Linda Powell Johnson
WARRENVILLE - Linda Powell Johnson, 53, died Saturday, April 14, 2001, at her residence, 117 Bayberry St.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Napier Funeral Home, Graniteville. The Revs. Carrie Gorden and Chris Williams will officiate. Burial will be in the Warrenville Cemetery.
A native of Graniteville, Mrs. Johnson was a daughter of Margaret Mattox Powell and the late Marvin Hammond Powell. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Banner of Love Holiness Church, Aiken.
Surviving along with her mother are her widower, Joseph Cooper Johnson; a son, Joseph C. Johnson III, North Augusta; three daughters, December Martin, Beech Island, Teresa Dyar, North Augusta, and Christa Burr, Edgefield County; and three sisters, Lillie Askren and Judy Silence, both of North Augusta, and Louise Job, Warrenville.
Pallbearers will be Ray Askren, Carrol Baughman, Rick Cushman, Randall Dailey, Mike Epperly and Eddie Mills.
Memorials may be made to the Carolina Cancer Center, P.O. Box 869, Aiken, SC 29802.
Friends may call at the residence or from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Leon Edward Karole
NEW JERSEY - Funeral services for Leon Edward Karole will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial, Summit, N.J., followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, Summit.
Burial will be in St. Teresa's Cemetery.
Mr. Karole died Friday, April 13, 2001.

Berna-Jean Sease
HARLEM, Ga. - Funeral services for Berna-Jean Sease were to be held at 10 a.m. today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Harlem.
Bishops James R. Embrey and George Nichols were to officiate. Burial was to be in Belleview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Sease, 71, died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at her residence.

Allen Curtis Watson

Mr. Watson, of 576 Holiness Church Road, died Saturday, April 14, 2001 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Gregory E. Wharton,

Gregory E. Wharton, 43, of Aiken, died Thursday, April 12, 2001, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at George Funeral Homes, Downtown. The Rev. William Swink will officiate. At Mr. Wharton's request, his remains will be cremated.
A native of Santa Fe, N.M., Mr. Wharton lived in California before moving to Aiken 14 years ago. He was a construction worker.
Surviving are his widow, Sandra Lee Wharton; two sons, Joshua Eric Wharton and Christopher Lee Wharton, both of Aiken; a brother, Rick Wharton, Los Angeles, Calif.; and two sisters, Tommy Robb, Chandler Ariz., and Jerry Gray, Los Angeles.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Memorials may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous, 123 Linden St., SW, Aiken, SC 29801. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the service.

Ms. Holloway, 109, died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at Mattie C. Hall Health Care Center.

Quinnijia Jaquisha Jones
NORWAY - Infant Quinnijia Jaquisha Jones, one-month-old daughter of Christine Harley, of 127 Kinard St., died Friday, April 13, 2001, at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital, Columbia.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Jackson's Memorial Chapel, Neeses. The Revs. Rubin W. Jackson and Robert Freeman will officiate. Burial will be in New Beginning U.M.C. Cemetery.
Surviving along with her mother are her father, Quinten Jones; two brothers, Quinjour Jones and Shyheium Gilmore; a sister, Quinquista Jones; maternal grandmother, Mary James, Norway; paternal grandparents, Don Lee Jones and Lillie M. Jones, Norway.

Kevin Douglas Williams
RALEIGH, N.C. - Funeral arrangements for Kevin Douglas Williams will be announced by Simmons Funeral Home, Williston.
Mr. Williams, 31, of 1941 Melrose Valley, died Friday, April 13, 2001, in Swansea.
