WAGENER - Nathan B. Jeffcoat, 69, died Friday, July 6, 2001, at his residence, 150 Airport Road.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Wagener United Methodist Church.
Dr. Tom Norrell will officiate.
Burial will be in Ebeneezer United Methodist Church Cemetery.
A native of Orangeburg County, Mr. Jeffcoat was a son of the late Charlie and Corrie Hutto Jeffcoat.
He was retired from Owens-Corning Fiberglas Co.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Larkie Anderson Jeffcoat; three sons, Mark Jeffcoat, Salley, David Jeffcoat, Irmo, and Ricky Jeffcoat, Swansea; two brothers, Rollo Jeffcoat, Wagener, and Clarence Jeffcoat,
Newfield, N.J.; a sister, Ludie Smith, Wagener; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Marty Jeffcoat, Dennis Jeffcoat, Al Jeffcoat, Tracy Jeffcoat, Walter Young, John Anderson and Clint Anderson.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at Blizzard Funeral Home, Wagener.

Willie B. Philpot McCain
EDGEFIELD - Willie Beatrice Philpot McCain died Wednesday, July 4, 2001.
Mrs. McCain, 74, resided at 318 Glover St.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Carey Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Clifford Williams will officiate.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the S. J. McCain Educational Fund, c/o Carey Hill Missionary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 6219, North Augusta, S.C. 29861.

Lavern Lloyd Nicholson, Aiken County employee
Lavern Lloyd Nicholson died Thursday, July 5, 2001.
Mrs. Nicholson, 44, resided at 421 Old Airport Road.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home.
A native of Edgefield County, Mrs. Nicholson was a daughter of Freddie Lloyd and Viola Brown Lloyd of Aiken.
She was employed by the Aiken County Registrar of Mesne Conveyance Office. She was a member of Ocean Grove Baptist Church, where she served as leader and vice president of the Gospel Choir.
She attended Aiken Technical College.
Survivors include her parents; husband, James Albert Nicholson; a son, James O'Neal Nicholson, Aiken; a daughter, LaShawn Nicholson, Aiken; two brothers, Freddie Curtis Lloyd and Thomas Lloyd, both of Aiken; and two sisters, Deloise Lloyd Gordon and Doris Lloyd Bates, both of Aiken.
Friends may call at the residence.

Geraldine H. Zeisberg
NORFOLK, Va. - Geraldine H. Zeisberg, 84, died Thursday, July 5, 2001.
Funeral services will be private.
A native of Fayetteville, Ark., Mrs. Zeisberg was a daughter of the late Lester and Matilda Abigale Hutchens.
She was a graduate of the Chicago School of Interior Decoration.
She was married to the late Fred C. Zeisberg.
Survivors include a son, Frederick H. Zeisberg, Norfolk.
Memorials may be made to Norfolk Botantical Gardens, 6700 Azalea Garden Road, Norfolk, VA 23518-5337 or to the American Cancer Society.
The Cremation Society of Virginia is in charge of arrangements.

Mark K. Brannon, Hubbel Electric Corp. retiree
LEXINGTON - Mark K. Brannon, 53, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Virginia Wingard Memorial United Methodist Church, Columbia. The Rev. Bob Borom will officiate. Burial will be private.
A native of Columbia, Mr. Brannon was a son of R.H. "Luke" and Mary Carpenter Brannon, West Columbia. He was retired from Hubbel Electric Corp, where he was a senior field sales representative. He also owned and operated a mobile home park in Red Bank.
Survivors include two children, Kevin L. Brannon, Piedmont, and Tracy Frierson, West Columbia; one brother, Dr. Michael H. Brannon, Greenville; one sister, Laurie Ann Brigman, Salisbury, N.C.; companion, Anita Forsyth; and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
The South Carolina Cremation & Memorial Society is in charge of arrangements.

Willie Mae Gatson
SPRINGFIELD - Willie Mae Gatson died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at Orangeburg Regional Medical Center.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Fulmer's Funeral Home, Springfield.
Friends may call at the residence of her daughter, Meleadell Gleaton, and at the funeral home.

Frances Sullivan Gee
Frances Sullivan Gee died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Help of Christians Church. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery.
A native of Buchanan, W. Va., Mrs. Gee was a daughter of the late Michael A. and Nora Hurley Sullivan. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Gee was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Church. She was also a member of the china painting guild.
She was the wife of the late Philip E. Gee.
Survivors include one son, Philip E. Gee Jr., Ridgeway; one daughter, Mary "Fran" Clinkscales, Flat Rock, N.C.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michael McNeill, Don Robinson, Adam Gee, Tim Clinkscales, Dennis Clinkscales and Rhonda Nager.
Memorials may be made to the St. Mary Help of Christians Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 438, Aiken 29802.
A vigil service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at George Funeral Homes, downtown chapel, with visitation following until 8 p.m.

Howard S. Stonehill, WWII veteran
ROANOKE, Va. - Howard S. Stonehill, 87, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Gardens.
A native of Westmont, N.J., Mr. Stonehill was a Merchant Marine veteran of World War II.
He was a member of the Elks Club.
Mr. Stonehill was the husband of the late Shirley Massey Stonehill.
Survivors include three sons, Stan G. Stonehill and Scott M. Stonehill, both of Evans, Ga., and Malcom O. Stonehill, Belvedere; two daughters, Rita Toomey, New York, and Audrey Davies, Fairfax, Va.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

MR. ROGER ODOM COURTNEY
MR. COURTNEY - Services for MR. ROGER ODOM COURTNEY, age 72, will be held Sat., Feb. 9, 2002 at 11am at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church will Rev. J. Chris Fischer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Bland Funeral Home Friday evening from 6 to 8pm. Memorials may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1186 Mt. Calvary Road, Johnston 29832. Mr. Courtney, a native of Johnston, died Wed., Feb. 6, 2002. He was a son of the late Lon J. Sr. and Ruby T. Odom Countney. He was a 1951 Clemson graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, was owner and manager of Ridge Gas & Oil Co., Exxon distributor, was president of Johnston Sertoma Club, past president of Johnston Jaycees, former board member of Pine Ridge Country Club where he was a member of the Puppy Fight, former Edgefield County School Board Member, American Legion Post 154 and was a US Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church where he currently served on the Finance Committee and was a former council member. Survivors include his wife, Betty Hendrix Courtney, son, Ronnie Courtney, daughter, Donna Livingston, brother, Lon J. Courtney Jr. all of Johnston, and five grandchildren. MR. ERNEST MCLANE GLEATON, SR.
MR. ERNEST MCLANE GLEATON, SR., age 79, of 156 Poole Rd., Salley, SC, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002, in Lexington Medical Center. Born in Orangeburg County, November 4, 1922, he was the son of the late Mike Harmon and Chrystabelle Fogle Gleaton. He was married to Doris P. Gleaton for 56 years. He was a member of Clinton United Methodist Church of Salley, of the United Methodist Men, and of the Adult Sunday School Class. He served as Sunday School Superintendent for 30 years. He was a trustee of the Hollow Creek Fire Department. He was a faithful and living husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Gleaton is survived by his wife, Doris, four children and their spouses: Ernest McLane, Jr. (Mickey) and Bootsie Gleaton of Columbia; Dianne and Jimmy Hutson; Marsha and Jerry Bolin; Donna and Dave Frishcosy all of Salley. Great-grandchildren: Lori and Mark Swearingen, the late Dodie Hutson, James Hutson, Jr., (Chad) and fiancee, Jennifer McCall, Tara Bolin and special friends, Travis Harris, Hayley and Travis Bolin, Brantley and Christopher Frishcosy. Great grandchildren: Hannah, and Joshua Swearingen. Surviving brother Grover Lee and preceded by Edward, M. L., and M. H. Surviving sisters Orine Casey, Bessie Brown, Louise Kirkland, Marjorie Locklair, Beverly Jeffcoat and the late Vondell Poole. Funeral services will be held at 3pm Sat., at Clinton United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9pm Friday at Blizzard Funeral Home in Wagener. Rev. A native of Arlington, MA, Mr. Ahern was a son of the late Everett J. and Pauline Zeiner Ahern, Sr. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a graduate of Boston University and was a retired accounts manager with TRW Automotive Division in Southfield, MI. He was a member of American Legion Post 39, Arlington, MA for 50 years. Mr. Ahern had retired to Aiken in 1990 from West Bloomfield, MI and was a member of Woodside Country Club. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Paul M. Ahern, Hartland, MI, three daughters, Carol A. Richards, West Bloomfield, MI, Jeanne M. Peters, Bloomfield Hills, MI, Dyan E. Andrew P. Christensen, Air Force veteran
Andrew P. Christensen, 40, of Aiken, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2000, at his sister's residence in Swarthmore, Pa. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at James F. Knoetgen Funeral Home, Morton, Pa. Burial will be in the S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Marple Township, Pa.
A native of Ridley Park, Pa., Mr. Christensen was a son of Elmer P. and Olympia Christensen. He was a manager for Westinghouse Savannah River Co.
Mr. Christensen was a 1977 graduate of Ridley High School and a 1981 graduate of Wiedener University with a degree in chemical engineering.
He served in the Air Force. Mr. Christensen was a member of Victory Baptist Church, North Augusta. He was the president of the bowling league in Aiken, coached youth sports and was involved with Market America Business. Surviving are three sons, Andrew P. Christensen Jr, Swarthmore, Pa. and Ryan T. Christensen and Chadd M. Christensen, both of Aiken; one daughter, Anna-Marie K. Christensen, Aiken; three sisters, Gladys T. Cellucci, Swarthmore, Pa., Donna M. Christensen, Oxford, Pa., and Joy E. Sandefur, Powder Springs, Ga., and his fiancee, Sherry Porter, North Augusta.
