William Herbert Durden, 63, husband of Rose Nguyen Durden of Charleston died Wednesday, April 24, 2002 in a Charleston hospital. Miss Groves was born in Hampton County, a daughter of Harold and Brenda Pellum Groves. She was a Probation Officer with the South Carolina Parole Board and was a member of Harvest Community Church. She was a graduate of Walterboro High School, a graduate of Francis Marion University, where she was on the Dean's List, the President's List, and the Honor Roll. She was currently attending classes at the Citadel. She was a member of Ducks Unlimited.
Surviving in addition to her parents of Walterboro are two sisters, Tina Encalade and her husband Kris of Walterboro and Gypsy Groves of Walterboro, her maternal grandmother, Mary M. Pellum of Walterboro, her paternal grandmother, Ruth C. Groves of Walterboro, and two nephews, Kristopher and Bailey Encalade.

MYRTLE BEACH - Kenneth McAboy Donnelly, 37, died Tuesday, April 23, 2002, in a Charleston hospital.
Mr. Donnelly was born in Kingstree on January 22, 1965, a son of George Lyman Donnelly, Sr. and Betty Driggers Donnelly. He was a graduate of Fort Johnson High School and attended Baptist University.
Mr. Donnelly served in the Army for four years and the Marine Corps for six years. He was a former drill sergeant at the Marine Corps training center at Parris Island. Mr. Donnelly's military service awards include, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Joint Meritorious Unit Award (w/star), Good Conduct Medal (w/star), National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Somalia), Southwest Asia Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon (w/2 stars), United Nations Medal, Meritorious Mast (3), Rifle Expert Badge (6th Award), and Navy and Marine Corps Parachutist Insignia.
Mr. Donnelly was owner and operator of Bulldog Landscaping. He was also a former marketing manager with Vacation Works and Starwood.
Surviving in addition to his parents of Andrews are, a daughter, Megan Leigh Donnelly of Summerville; two brothers, George L. Donnelly, Jr. of Andrews and James Albert Donnelly of Boiling Springs; a sister, Theresa A. Drake of Andrews; his fiancée, Jennifer Gursky and her two daughters and one son of Myrtle Beach; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Myers was born May 5, 1933, in Colleton County, a son of the late Tom L. Myers and Bertha Mae Warren Myers. He was the widower of the late Ellen Durgin Myers. He was Retired T/SGT USAF after 20 years service and served in Vietnam Conflict, and 17 years Civilian work at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, N.H. Surviving are two daughters, Julie Morgan of Somersworth, N.H. and Elizabeth Shisler and husband Steve of Herwrick, Maine; three brothers, McKline C. Myers and wife June, Joseph M. Myers and Terry P. Franklin Bunker Jones of Mt. Pleasant, the husband of Elizabeth Sawyer Jones, died April 24, 2002, in a local hospital.
Born December 31, 1915, in Jersey City, N.J., he was the son of Harry Towne Jones, Sr. and Ada Maitland Cushing Jones. Mr. Jones was Director of Purchasing for American Can Company, and also for MEM, a manufacturer of men's toiletries. He attended Philips-Andover Preparatory School in Andover, Ma., and graduated from Packard Business School in New York, N.Y. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Jones; three daughters, Carolyn S. Arvenitis, Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Susan J. Olley (Donald), Bowie, Md., Sarah M. Donaldson, Wayne, N.J.; two grandsons, Christoper P. Arvenitis (Kirsten), Aurora, Colo. and Glen A. Mrs. Chandler was born in Williamsburg Co., a daughter of the late James Cleveland and Nellie Montgomery Flagler. She was a retired Registered Nurse, having trained at Saunders Memorial Hospital in Florence. Mrs. Chandler was a member of Hebron Independent Church.
Surviving is a brother, Clarence O. Flagler of Manning; a sister, Eloise F. McConkey of Stow, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
