LESAINE -- Funeral services for John Willie "Son" Lesaine were held Sunday, May 16, 1999, at St. James Baptist Church in Greeleyville, conducted by Minister James Lesesne. Burial followed in the churchıs cemetery directed by Dimery and Rogers Funeral Home. Mr. Lesaine, 66, died Sunday, May 8, 1999, at Carolinas Hospital System-Kingstree. He was born May 2, 1932, in Greeleyville, a son of the late Edward Lesaine and Annie Bell Smith. He was employed as a truck driver with a bottling company. He was a member of St. James Baptist Church. Survivors are: his wife, Mrs. Mary Kennedy of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two daughters, Sadie Lesaine and Christine Lesaine, both of Greeleyville; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Lee Washington of Greeleyville; Mrs. Sadie Montgomery of Foreston; and Mrs. Virginia Dobbs of New Jersey; and one brother, George Lesaine of Philadelphia, PA.

BROWN -- Funeral services for Frankie Gene Brown were held Sunday, May 16, 1999, at St. John Baptist Church in Greeleyville, conducted by Rev. Talbert Dickson. Burial followed in the church's cemetery directed by Dimery and Rogers Funeral Home. Mr. Brown, 55, died Wednesday, May 12, 1999, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He was born January 29, 1944, in Clarendon County, a son of the late Frank Brown and Sarah Witherspoon Brown. He was employed as a delivery man with a feed company. He was a member of St. John Baptist Church. Survivors are: his wife, Mrs. Majorie Brown of Greeleyville; one son, Ervin Brown of North Charleston; four daughters, Carolyn Brown of North Charleston; Mrs. Maria Hilton of Manning; Tammy Dianne Brown and Melissa Brown, both of Manning.

BROWN -- Mrs. Ethelena Pierce Brown, 71, widow of Dessie W. Brown, died Monday, March 22, 1999, in the Kingstree hospital. Funeral services for were held Wednesday, March 24, 1999, in the Pine View Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial followed in the Cedar Swamp Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Brockington Funeral Home of Lake City. Mrs. Brown was born in Kingstree, a daughter of the late H. Thomas and Vera M. Pierce. She was a homemaker and member of Pine View Pentecostal Holiness Church. Survivors are: one son, Dessie W. Brown of Kingstree; six sisters, Mary Ann Sauls of Hartsville; Helen Drucker and Gaile Pierce Drucker, both of Florence; Ruth Carraway of Lake City; Cathern Pierce of Kingstree and Jean Fitch of Olanta; and two brothers, W. T. Pierce of Hartsville; and Jackie Pierce of Cades.

WOODARD -- Funeral services for Deloris Woodard were held Fri., March 26, 1999, at Marion Missionary Baptist Church in Salters, conducted by Rev. Jimmy Brockington. Burial followed in the Marion Memorial Gardens in Salters directed by Redmond-Richardson Funeral Home. Ms. Woodard, 45, died Saturday, March 20, 1999, at her residence in Kingstree. She was born January 8, 1954, in Williamsburg County, the daughter of Mrs. Carrie Darby Woodard and the late Joseph Woodard, Sr. She graduated from Kingstree Senior High School in 1972. She was a member of Marion Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Oneita Industries of Andrews, Kingstree Knits, Inc. of Kingstree, Prince George Nursing Home of Georgetown and Kingstree Nursing Facility of Kingstree. Survivors, in addition to her mother of the home, are: three brothers, Ruffin Woodard of Hyattsville, MD; Franklin Woodard and Joseph Woodard, Jr., both of Kingstree; two sisters, Mrs. Ojetta Dantzler of Kingstree; and Mrs. Joanne Hayes of Pennsaukee, N.J.

MOUZON -- Wilbur William (Will) Mouzon, 63, died Sunday, March 21, 1999, at his residence. Funeral services were held Wed., March 24, 1999, in the Williamsburg Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Richburg Cemetery directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home. He was born in Greeleyville, a son of the late Irma Sue Tisdale Mouzon and Wilbur Smith Mouzon. He was a retired salesman and a member of McDowell Presbyterian Church. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of American Legion Post #8 in Kingstree. Survivors are: two sisters, Sue M. Atkinson of Greeleyville; and Frances M. Howie of Davidson, N.C.; and one brother, Douglas G. Mouzon of Manning.

FAULKNER -- William McCormick (Billy) Faulkner, 79, died March 21, 1999. Funeral services were held Wed., March 24, 1999, in the Kingstree First Baptist Church. Burial followed in Pine Grove United Methodist Cemetery in Turbeville directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home. Mr. Faulkner was born in Blackville, S.C., a son of the late Edna Bates Faulkner and William Joseph Faulkner. He was a graduate of Kingstree High School and Draughs Business School and retired after 42 years as office manager of Drexel Furniture Co. in Kingstree. He was a member of Kingstree First Baptist Church, where he had served as Trustee, Deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Africa, Italy and Germany. He was a member of Kingstree Masonic Lodge #46, AFM. Survivors: his wife, Mrs. Rounette Lowder Faulkner, Kingstree; one sister, Mrs. Florrie F. Stockman of Florence.

REARDON -- Daniel Elbert Reardon, 75, died Sunday, March 21, 1999, in a Columbia hospital. Funeral services were March 23, 1999, in the Williamsburg Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Midway Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Mr. Reardon was born in the Oakdale Community of Clarendon County, a son of the late Robert Lee Reardon and Margaret Emma (Maggie) Mouzon Reardon. He served in World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart. Survivors are: two sons, Joe Reardon of Sumter; and Paul Reardon of Columbia; three daughters, Susan Davis of Sumter; Carolyn Frye of Las Vegas, Nevada; and Annette Hodge of Greenville; and one sister, Regena Reardon of New Zion.

DAVID -- Hamer Everett David, Sr., 82, died Wednesday, May 26, 1999, in a Florence hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 29, 1999, in Kingstree United Methodist Church. Burial followed in Union Presbyterian Cemetery directed by Williamsburg Funeral Home. Mr. David was born in Marlboro County, a son of the late Walter David and Alice McQuage David. He was a retired farmer, a member of Kingstree United Methodist Church and Kingstree Masonic Lodge #46, A.F.M. Survivors are: his wife, Mrs. Janie Small David of Kingstree; one daughter, Lucy D. Ward of Westlake, CA.; one son, Dr. Hamer Everette David of Easley; one sister, Mrs. Sarah D. Rogers of Bennettsville; and one brother, James K. David of Ft. Myers, Florida.

GRAHAM -- Funeral services for Mrs. Lee June Pressley Graham were held Friday, June 4, 1999, at St. John African Methodist Episcopal Church in Kingstree, conducted by Rev. B. L. Green. Burial followed in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Kingstree. Mrs. Graham, 48, died May 30, 1999, at Carolinas Hospital System-Florence. She was born June 1, 1950, in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late Eligha Pressley, Sr. and Jannie Mae Ham Graham. She was a member of St. John African Methodist Episcopal Church. Survivors are: her husband, Rowland Graham of Kingstree; two daughters, Lillian Graham and Cassandra Graham; one brother, Eligha Pressley, Jr. of Kingstree; three sisters, Mrs. Jurretta Myers, Mrs. Carrie Bell Pressley and Mrs. Mariah Graham, all of Kingstree; and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Lillian Graham of Kingstree.

LYLES -- Cecile Evelyn Crooks Lyles, 91, died recently in Shallotte, N.C. nursing home. Funeral services were held recently in Spring Gulley Baptist Church Cemetery near Andrews. Mrs. Lyles was born in Williamsburg County, a daughter of William D. Crooks and Ellen Tisdale Crooks. She was a member of Spring Gulley Baptist Church. She was the widow of William O. Lyles. Survivors: one son, William O. Lyles, Jr. of Rockingham, N.C.; one daughter, Dolores L. Jennings of Shallotte; one brother, Colie Crooks of Avon Park, Fla.; and one sister, Delora C. Klintworth of St. Stephen.
