SALLIE B. HUDDLESTON
Sallie B. Huddleston, born in Pleasant Grove Community, Florida December 14, 1912, moved to Maryville, Tenn. in 1993, died at her home November 28, 2002. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Mitchill W. Huddleston; daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Don Hester; grandson, John Michael Hester.
The interment will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Florida Tuesday, December 3, 2002.

SONNY RAYMOND WEEKS
Sonny Raymond Weeks, age 44 of Missouri, formerly of Maryville, passed away suddenly at his home on November 24, 2002. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Lonzo Weeks; grandparents, Thomas and Evelyn Lemmons and Jack and Grace Weeks.
Survivors include: wife, Carla Diane Weeks; daughters, Connie Sharp Gourley of Maryville and Kristina Weeks of Bates City, Mo.; grandson, Jaikyn Klee of Bates City; two granddaughters, both of Maryville; mother, Lola Vivian Weeks Cunningham and her husband, Joseph C. Cunningham of Seymour; nephews, Steven and Shane Weeks of Kodak; several other relatives and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2002 at Smith Mortuary, Maryville.
Graveside service will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2002 at Holston College cemetery with Rev. Ed Adams officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to help Mr. Week's family with his final expenses. Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 865-983-1000.

FRED M. HARRIS
Fred M. Harris, age 88, of 457 Shoal Creek Rd., Englewood, passed away 6:55 P.M. Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at his home. Attended Shoal Creek Gospel Tabernacle, Veteran of U.S. Army.
Survivors: daughters & sons-in-law, Gladys Bowers, Lola & Chester Watson, Diann & Jack Nichols, Juanita & Ralph Buckner, all of Tellico Plains, Louise & Kenneth Murphy of Coker Creek, Helen & Mike Newberry of Etowah, Lorida & Jimmy Burke of Madisonville; sons & daughters-in-law, Bobby & Connie Harris of Alcoa, Howard & Laura Harris of Lavon, TX, Alford & Linda Harris, Ralph and Billy Harris, all of Tellico Plains, Edward & Judy Harris of Madisonville; 33 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; brothers, Monroe Harris, Frank Harris, both of Madisonville; several nieces & nephews.
Preceded in death by wife, Frances Freeman Harris; son-in-law, Jay Bowers.

WILLIAM MARSHALL GILES
William Marshall Giles, 71, of 156 Dailey Ave., Loudon died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002 at his home. Retired employee of Maremont & preceded in death by parents, Audie & Della Oody Giles; sister, Emma Mae Palmer.
Survivors: wife of 46 years, Pauline Brookshire Giles; sons & daughters-in-law, Fred & Delores Giles, Maryville, Mark Giles, Loudon; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy & John Isham, Loudon, Patty & Jason Denton, Knoxville; 6 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; sisters & brothers-in-law, Virginia & Rev. Elmer Summey & Dorcas & J.R. Kirkland, Loudon; special foster children, Sandy Leon, Loudon, & Buddy Todd of Pennsylvania; a special niece, Ginger Davis, Loudon. A special thank you to Covenant Health Care Hospice & especially Julia Terrill, who was so kind. God bless you for your kindness.

ARVILLE LESTER `LEFTY' MARTIN
Arville Lester "Lefty" Martin, age 75 of Maryville departed this life on Monday, November 25, 2002 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He attended East Walland Baptist Church. He was retired from ALCOA after 39 years of service. preceded in death by parents, William and Margaret Ann Martin; brothers, Sam, Huse, Fred, Tom, John, and Chester Martin; sisters, Mamie Caldwell and Mattie Potter.
Survivors include wife of fifty-four years, Margaret Whitehead Martin; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie "Ron" and Jane Martin; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Gene Waters; granddaughter, Susann and husband Tim Starrett; granddaughter, Dawn Waters; step granddaughter, Kristi and husband Randall Teffeteller; step great grandson, Justin Teffeteller; brother, William "Bill" Martin all of Maryville; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of devoted friends.
Funeral Service will be 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2002 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Terry Nelson and Rev. Gerald Smelcer officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2002 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Leonard R. Tuck, age 57 of Friendsville passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2002.

Betty Evelyn Walker, age 66, of Blount County died Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death: Parents, Clyde & Clennie McMahan; Brother, Kenneth McMahan. Children, Georgia W. Lowe of Friendsville, George D. Wilson of Alcoa, Tina Childers & husband, Scott Childers of Alabama, Neil Walker & wife, Kristie Walker of Maryville, Jane Wilson of Maryville; Grandchildren, Gary Lee Wilson, Sherman Proctor, Shannon Wilson, William Joseph Walker, Brandon Lee Childers, Aron Walker, Amanda S. Childers, Kelly Walker, Dustin Walker Jessica Walker; Great-Grandchildren, Hailey Wilson, Amber McAtee, Audra McAtee; Brothers, Earl McMahan, Gene McMahan, Jackie McMahan all of Maryville; Ronnie McMahan of Georgia; Sisters, June Chutshaw of Townsend and Mildred Hembree of Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews.

VIRGIE ELLEN DAVIS WILSON
Virgie Ellen Davis Wilson, age 91 of the Prospect Community passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Virgie was born on April 9, 1911 to Charles and Sophie Cummings Davis in the Prospect Community where she lived her 91 + years. Virgie graduated from Walland High School, attended Carson-Newman College for two years, and worked at ALCOA. She enjoyed working outdoors and remained very active until recently. Virgie loved her family, friends, and Prospect Baptist Church. Her grandparents and sixteen others started the church in the parlor of their home. She was also a member of the Golden Prospectors and the TEL Sunday School Class.
Preceded in death by parents; husband, Clyde Wilson; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Avis Davis; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Ernest Rogers; and nephew, Eddie Lynn Davis.
Survivors include, son and daughter-in-law, John L. and Lorettie Wilson; grandson, John L. Wilson, Jr.; granddaughter, Chrissy Wilson; great-grandson, James Wilson, all of Seymour; stepson and wife, Bill and Genevieve Wilson of Texas; nephew and wife, John P., Jr. and Ruth Davis; great nephews and wives, John P. III and Rhonda Davis, Chris K. and Melinda Davis all of Walland; great niece and husband, Charity and Alex Decker; great nephew, Charlie Davis; three great-great nephews; two great-great nieces; and a host of friends and cousins too numerous to mention. EDNA B. AYTES
Edna B. Aytes, age 94 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2002, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Maryville First United Methodist Church, and was a life member and senior judge of National Council of State Garden Clubs.
Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Charles Jr., and Patsy B. Aytes of Knoxville; grandchildren, Jonathan Aytes and Tracy Green; great-grandchild, Elizabeth Ann Green.
Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service with Dr. Darris Doyal officiating. Friends may call at their convenience at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.

ANNA ELIZA MCCALL DAVIS
Anna Eliza McCall Davis, age 88 of Maryville, passed away Monday, November 25, 2002, at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. She was a member of Middlesettlements United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Avery R. Davis; parents, Ernest and Larah Gregory McCall; brothers, Horace, Edwin and Charles McCall; sisters, Marie McCall, Emma Carter.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Joe Cox of Maryville; son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Jody Davis of Houston, TX; son, Robert Davis of Lugoff, SC; brother, Max McCall of Maryville; sister, Phyllis DeLozier of Maryville; several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Middlesettlements cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Joe Black officiating. In celebration of her life, the family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. The family is especially grateful for the loving care she received from her home assistants, the staff at Wellington Place and at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. Joe B. Hatcher, age 74 of Alcoa died Wednesday, November 27, 2002, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and a member of The Gideon Society and John Birch Society. He owned and operated Dolly's Restaurant and was a partner in J & J Candy Sales. He was a retired employee of Swan's Bakery. preceded in death by: parents, Muncie and Myrtle Hatcher; sister, Nell Trentham; brother, Bob Hatcher.
Survivors include: wife, Irene Hatcher; son and daughter-in-law, Ben and Judy Hatcher of Knoxville; daughters and sons-in-law, Jo Ann and Robert Sims of Sevierville; Betty Lou and Larry Eidson of Rockford, Judy and Walter Snow of Maryville, Lorna and Jim Norwood of Seymour and Tammie and Chris Dyer of Maryville; grandchildren, Crystal and Joel Wheelon, John and Misty Newcomb, Jeremy and Heather Snow, Matt Snow, Elizabeth and Carrie Sims, Ashley Cole, Charlie Caylor, Kim Caylor, Michelle Sharpe; ten great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, M.D. and Shirley Hatcher of MI; sisters and brothers-in-law, Imogene and Billy Reagan of Seymour, Louise and Johnie Tipton of Seymour, Shirley and J.T. Tipton of Townsend; special friends, John and Edward Williamson.

DONALD WILLIAM HENRY
Donald William Henry, age 60 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2002, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Clyde and Mary Henry.
Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Don and Mary Henry of Oak Lawn, IL; daughter, Brandi Williams; grandchildren, Jenny, Steve and Mark Henry, Alexia Williams; sisters, Aggie Henry, Pat Abbott and husband Steve, Peggy Fuller and husband Johnny; stepdaughter, Lisa Morgan; grandson, Lucas Morgan; he is also survived by Barbara Henry Jones and Patricia Henry; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronald Morton officiating. The interment will follow in Clark's Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.
