Survivors: wife, Jo Ann Garland; son, Ricky Garland of Maryville; daughter, Wendy Garland of Maryville; one granddaughter; brothers, Hubert Garland, Samuel Garland both of Maryville.
Funeral service will be 8 p.m. today in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary. Interment will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Maple Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 865-983-1000.

GREGORY, FLOYD W., 85, Maryville, died Monday, May 21, at Blount Memorial Hospital.
Survivors: daughters, Geraldine Keller of Maryville, Shirley Walker of Knoxville; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; half sister, Christine Holder of Maryville; half brother, Sam Lawson of Kodak.
Funeral services will be held 8 p.m. today in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel. The interment will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Grandview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-8 p.m. today at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.

ROWAN, GRACE FIELDER, 99, Maryville, died Tuesday, May 22, at Asbury Acres Healthcare Center. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.

WATSON, OCIE LEE, 83, Greenback, died Tuesday, May 22, at Loudon Healthcare Center. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Smith Mortuary.

WISEMAN, SARA S., 84, Maryville, died Monday, May 21, at Blount Memorial Hospital.
Survivors: daughter, Patricia Hill of Maryville; one grandson.
She was cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.

WOOD, GLADYS, of Knoxville died in Maryville at the home of her daughter. She was a retired teacher. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced at a later date. Jarnigan & Son Mortuary in charge.

YOUNG, MARGARET 'PEGGY' SEE, 88, Maryville, died Monday, May 21, at Asbury Acres Healthcare Center. She was a retired public school teacher and private kindergarten teacher.
Survivors: son, Joe Young; five grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.

BEVERLY, M. BOWMAN,
2001-05-24
of Ravenswood, W.Va., died Monday in Camden Clark Hospital. He was an industrial engineer with ALCOA Inc., Kaiser Aluminum, and the U.S. Postal Service in Charleston, W.Va.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Anne Dygert Beverly; a son, Robert Beverly of Morgantown; two daughters, Anne Drummond of Huntington, Beth Abshire of Ripley; four grandsons.
He donated his body to medical science. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 26 at 1 p.m. at Christ Church United Methodist in Charleston.

DENNIS, NANCY D., 71 of Wears Valley died Tuesday at home.
Survivors include: husband, Charles R. 'Bud' Dennis; children, Sharon Alcalde of Sterling, Va., Debi Cameron of Woodbridge, Va., John Dennis of Maryville; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Ben Mango and David Mango both of Columbus, Ohio.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Smith Mortuary. Family and friends will assemble at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Forest cemetery for the interment. Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Smith Mortuary.

HAUN, ROSS L., 66 of Chatsworth, Ga., died Tuesday at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley M. Haun; daughters, Debbie Spradlin of Maryville, Peggy Yevonne Haun, Misty Haun Thomas, all of Chatsworth; son, Shane Haun of Dalton, Ga.; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; mother, Mae Haun of Maryville; three brothers; two sisters.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Holly Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family received friends at the funeral home Wednesday.
Peeples Funeral Home of Chatsworth is in charge of funeral arrangements.

KINZALOW, BILLY JOE, 72, of Birmingham, Ala., died Tuesday. He was retired from Republic Steel, formerly employed with Jim Walter Resources, owner and operator of B.J. Supply Company.
Survivors: wife, Myrna Kinzalow; son, Billy Joe Kinzalow Jr.; daughter, Sharon Kinzalow; two grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Jordan.
Funeral services will be today at 2 p.m. at Crestview Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from noon until the service begins.

KOLB, DERECK, 27, Maryville, died Tuesday.
Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Memorial Funeral Home.

LOVINGOOD, DR. CHARLES GORDON, age 84, died at his home in Hilton Head, S.C., on Tuesday.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church of Hilton Head. Other services will be June 18 in Dayton, Ohio.

MURR, HOWARD, 67, of Maryville died Tuesday at his home. He was a retired lieutenant from the Maryville Police Department after 25 years of service.
Survivors include: wife, Doris Killian Murr; son, Jeff Murr of Maryville; daughter, Jan Burgess of Maryville; four grandchildren; brother, Emerson Murr of St. Louis, Mo.
Funeral services will be at 8 p.m. today in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary. Family and friends will assemble at 2 p.m. Friday at Grandview cemetery for the interment. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today, West Chapel, Smith Mortuary.

ROWAN, GRACE FIELDER HUFFSTETLER, 99, of Maryville, died Tuesday at Asbury Acres Healthcare Center. She was a Blount County school teacher and retired from the Maryville City School System.
Survivors include her daughter, Helen Click; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.

Survivors include: brother, J. B. Radford of Greenback; sister, Vonica Spires of Greenback.

WOOD, Gladys F., 86, of Knoxville died Monday at the home of her daughter in Maryville. She was a former teacher at Charles M. Hall School, Alcoa, and Tennessee School for the Deaf.
Survivors: daughters, Sandra Hudson, Maryville, Elaine Williamson, Knoxville; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Audrey Allen, Chattaroy, W.Va.
Family will receive friends Friday, 10:30-11 at Lennon Seney United Methodist Church (2084 Dandridge Ave., Knoxville), funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Interment in Lynnhurst Cemetery. Friends may call at their convenience at the home of Mrs. Sandra Hudson, 104 Milton Circle, Maryville.
Jarnigan & Son Mortuary is in charge.
