Gloria Horenburg, age 40 of Maryville passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2004. She attended River Oaks Community Church. She taught Music, Spanish, and Art at Maryville Christian School. She was an accomplished singer who wrote and recorded her own music along with her husband to glorify the Lord. She was a cherished wife and mother who dearly loved her family and trusted fully in the Lord Jesus Christ. Survivors include: husband, James Horenburg of Maryville; son, Jacob Dane Horenburg of Maryville; father, Joseph Infante and wife Margarita; mother, Patricia Bayer; brothers, Joseph, Josh, and David; sisters, Carmen and Suzie all of California; special aunt, Rosemary; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Memorial service will be Saturday, November 6, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at East Maryville Baptist Church.

CAROLYN ANN `SIS' JAMES
Carolyn Ann 'Sis' James, age 53 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2004, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca Maxine Hodge.
Survivors include her daughter, Jackie Gideon of Maryville; son, Kevin James of Walland; grandchildren, Taylor Gideon, Haley Gideon, Matthew Gideon; father, Bobby Hurst; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Mick Roddy of Maryville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dickie and Anita Hodge of Walland, Michael and Donita Hurst of Seattle, WA, Robert and Dewanna Hurst of LA; brother, Marvin Hurst of Seattle, WA; adopted sister, Cookie Bailey of Maryville; former husband and special friend, Jack James of Walland; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don McGill officiating. The interment will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

James Wells Curtiss, Sr.
James Wells Curtiss, Sr., age 79 of Maryville, formerly of Hernando, Mississippi, died Thursday, November 4, 2004 at Asbury Acres Healthcare Center. He was a Civic Leader and Veteran of World War II in the United States Army Air Corp. He was a retired Building Inspector for DeSoto County Mississippi and the DeSoto County Planning Commission. preceded in death by: wife, Edna Mae Leigh Curtiss; mother, Viola Wells Curtiss Brinson; father, James M. Curtiss. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, James Jr. and Susan Curtiss of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Charles Ballard of Maryville; grandchildren, Krista Ledford and husband Danny, Whitney Roberts and husband Brent, and William Curtiss; great-grandchildren, Kaitlin Leigh Ballard aand Wesley Vaughn Ledford. HORENBURG, GLORIA, 40, Maryville died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Smith Mortuary.

EUNA MAE WEST BLACK
Euna Mae West Black, age 79, Greenback, born June 17, 1925, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 12, 2004. married for 58 years to P.L. Black, who preceded her in death on September 21, 2004. She was a strong, hardworking and loving woman who gave her love unconditionally, and always believed that her greatest gift in life was that of a close-knit family. The Alpha and Omega of a life well spent.
She will be greatly missed by her loving family: daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Anthony Caccavale and J. Nadean Rabin; grandchildren and spouses, Anthony and Susan Caccavale, Gary and Lisa Caccavale, Sarah Rabin and Kelly Noelle Rabin; great-grandchildren, Plez, Scott and Joey Caccavale; sisters Neoma Hunt, Cora Miller and Burl Dils; brother and sister-in-law, Odis and Vernice West; brother-in-law, Plez Black; several nieces and nephews. preceded in death by parents, Chester and Dora Ray West; sister, Lynn Cole; brothers, Charlie, Bill and John West.
Funeral 8 p.m. Monday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Gerald Lynn officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Tuesday, Mt. Zion Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.

MARIE HENRY
Marie Henry, age 91, of Walland, died Saturday, November 13, 2004, at Asbury Place Healthcare Center. She attended Keeble's Chapel Baptist Church and will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Robert and Genela Malzene Sloan Henry; brothers and sister, Samuel Walker Henry, Clifford F. Henry, Charlie Henry, Roy Henry, John Henry, William Robert Henry, Guss Henry, Huse Henry, Sarah Catherine "Polly" Henry, Tom Henry and Ben Henry. She is survived by a special niece and caregiver and husband, Nell L. and Oscar E. Miller of Walland, and many, many nieces, nephews, great- and great-great-nieces and nephews whom she loved, each one dearly. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 15, 2004, at 7:30 p.m. in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Sidney Ogle and Rev. Clarence Evans officiating. Interment will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2004, at 2:30 p.m. in the Keeble's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary Co., Maryville, 983-1000.

MARY COCHRAN HUSKEY
Mary Cochran Huskey, age 70, of Maryville passed away Saturday, November 13, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church and a graduate of Everett High School. Mary lived in Sylva, N.C., for twenty years where she worked for Contel as a telephone operator. After retiring, she spent the last fourteen years in Maryville where she took outstanding care of her mother. Her mother passed away two years ago at age 97 and was united with her entire family. She was a loving mother and dedicated wife for 50 years. Mary was preceded in death by: parents, H.T. and Hettie Cochran; sister, Betty Jo Griffith. Survivors include: husband, Leonard Huskey; daughter, Teresa Chastain, both of Maryville; son and daughter-in-law, Jim H. and Elizabeth Huskey of Charlotte, N.C.; grandchildren, Brendon Chastain of Hayesville, N.C., Sara Beth, Anna Kathryn, and Amanda Huskey, all of Charlotte, N.C.; niece, Kim Griffith Perkins and children Erin and Kelly of Longwood, Fla.; brother-in-law, Bill Griffith of Oak Ridge. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2004, in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Tom Hodges officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2004, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 983-1000.

RICKY DEAN OWNBY
Ricky Dean Ownby, age 47, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, November 12, 2004, in a Sevier County hospital. He graduated from Charleston High School in 1975 and was a member of Bellefounte Baptist Church. Mr. Ownby had been employed with Duracell Inc. for 29 years. He was preceded in death by his father, E.A. Ownby Jr.
He is survived by two sons and their spouses, Shawn and Leah Ownby of Aviano, Italy, and Chad and Cristy Ownby of Cleveland; mother, Lorean Daniels of Maryville; three grandchildren, Kaylee Ownby, Parker Ownby and Bryce Ownby; fiancee, Betty Gale of Cleveland; one sister, Judy Prichard of Cleveland; one brother, Dale Ownby of Cleveland; close friend, Floyd Leak of Maryville; one niece, Brandi Eslinger; and one nephew, Nick Ownby.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home in Cleveland with Reverend Lake Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with the release of a flock of white doves concluding the service. Heath Shamblin, Jason Kersey, Nick Ownby, Dax McGowan, Chris Dorsey and Keith White will serve as pallbearers.
His family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

BOBBIE ANN JOHNSON
Bobbie Ann Johnson, age 64 of Maryville died Thursday, November 11, 2004 at the family home. She was a very active member of Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew her. preceded in death by: parents, Robert and Anna Cantrell; brothers, Robert Key Cantrell, Roy D. Cantrell and Dean Cantrell. Survivors include: husband of 43 years, David A. Johnson; daughter, Kim Johnson of Maryville; sons and daughters-in-law, David Jr. and Lisa Johnson and Mike and Debbie Johnson all of Maryville; grandchildren, Nolan and Collin Johnson; brother and sister-in-law, James and Donna Cantrell of Maryville; sisters, Belva Cantrell, Bernice Weeks, Beulah Helton and husband Elmer, Deanna Flynn, Delores Giles and husband Fred all of Maryville; special friends, Judy Everett and Francis Adams; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 12, 2004 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Ken Abbott and Don Story officiating. Mrs. Johnson will lie in state from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2004 at Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church Cemetery. JACK CALVIN FERGUSON
Jack Calvin Ferguson, age 76, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2004, originally from Sweetwater, TN. He settled in Washington, DC, after retiring from the Army. He was a highly decorated veteran serving in Korea and Germany and volunteering for 3 tours in Vietnam. Receiving the Good conduct and national Defense service medals, Vietnam service medal with 1 silver service star and 2 Bronze svc stars, Campaign medal, bronze star medal, also Army of occupation medal (Germany) and Army Commendation Medal. In his retirement he was an accomplished artist and illustrator. preceded in death by his parents, John and Donnie McDonald Philips Ferguson; sisters, Fran Barnes, and Sarah Will Harless; nephew, Jack Harless.
Survivors include: nieces and nephews, Bill and Sara Harless, Ernest and Patricia Gravin, Lee and Charlotte Burnsmier, Donna Williams, Donald and Kathy Morton, Jack and Fran Murphy, Frank and Jeanie Harless, William and Sally Cupp, Jimmy and Joyce Harless, Phyllis Neil, Tony and Dorraine Harless, Ricky and Vickie Kidd, all of Maryville, Andrew Barnes of Pasadena, CA; several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and interment will be conducted on Saturday, November 13, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the West View cemetery with Rev. Clinton Riddle officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the Sweetwater Gold Star V.F.W. Post # 5156. Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater, in charge of arrangements.

ROBERT L. STINNETT JR.
Robert L. Stinnett, Jr., age 82 of Sevierville, formerly of Blount County, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2004, at U.T. Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lula Cox Stinnett and Robert L. Stinnett, Sr.; sister, Iva Lee Nelson; nephew, Ted Nelson.
Survivors include his wife, Marie French Stinnett of Sevierville; children, Danny and Lucia Stinnett of Knoxville, Johnny and Angela Stinnett of Maryville, Robin and Joe Darnell of Oak Ridge and Michael Stinnett of Asheville, NC; 4 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Lela Nelson of Orlando, FL; special nieces, Linda Pierce and Nancy Lockett.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Dyer officiating. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Union Grove cemetery in Friendsville.
