JAMES FRANK "RALPH" LOOPER
Funeral services for Mr. James Frank "Ralph" Looper, 70, of Bradford, OH, were conducted at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2004, from the chapel of Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home in Bradford with Rev. Daryl Peeples officiating.

Mr. Looper died Sunday, May 2 at his home. He had worked for 30 years at different factories in Sidney, Piqua, Bradford, and retired from Tube Products (Auto Tube) in Troy. He attended a non-denominational church and was a member of the O.K.I. Bluegrass Association.

Born February 28, 1934, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Willie R. and Elsie (Swallow) Looper. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, A.B. Looper; and a sister, Frances Thrasher.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Irene (Stover) Looper; two sons, Donnie R. Looper of Kingsport and Ricky G. Savage of Rickman; four daughters, Loretta D. Duncan and her husband, Don, of Proctorville, OH, Judy G. Meade and her husband, Benny, of Maysville, KY, Theresa Kay Burkhart and her husband, Robert, of Everett, KY, and Anna Marie Turner and her husband, Husky, of Wallins Creek, KY; two brothers, L.J. Looper and his wife, Bertie, of Monterey, Doyle Looper and his wife, Swannie, of Asheboro, NC; six sisters, Jenette Murphy and her husband, Bedford, of Battle Creek, MI, Jewell Dean Solonski and her husband, Frank, of Bay City, MI, Clarice Collier and her husband, Bill, of Essexville, MI, Johnnie Buel of Vandalia, OH, Meleane Bilbrey of Livingston, Eunita Davidson and her husband, Larry, of Troy; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; special friends, Lorie and Fred Bollinger, Frances Jackson, and Jim Smith; and other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cancer Association of Darke County or Hospice of Darke County.

GENE LOWE
Funeral services for Mr. Gene Lowe, 64, of Monroe, were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2004, from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home in Cookeville.

Burial was in Crestlawn Memorial cemetery in the New Cross Mausoleum with Bro. Buddy Reed officiating.

Mr. Lowe died Friday, April 30 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was retired from General Motors Corporation.

Born March 23, 1940, in Slick Fork, KY, he was the son of the late Denton and Bessie (Kennedy) Lowe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Lowe; a brother, Edward Lowe; and a sister, Ethel Dishman.

Survivors include his wife, Rita; two daughters, Debbie Delk and her husband, Clay, of Muncie, IN, and Amber Oliver of Monroe; two sons, Billy Oliver and his wife, Carolyn, of Monroe, and Rick Lowe of Livingston; three brothers, Earl Lowe and his wife, Lois, of Allardt, Robert Lowe and his wife, Amy, of Willow Grove, and Roy Lowe of Muncie; four sisters, Maxine Wright and her husband, J.B., Wilma Allred and her husband, Willard, Christine Rhumm, and Bonnie Beard, all of Muncie; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

BEULA (REED) THOMAS
Funeral services for Mrs. Beula (Reed) Thomas, 89, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2004, at Livingston Church of Christ.

Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Chris Coil and Bro. Kenneth Thomas officiating.

Mrs. Thomas died Thursday, April 29 at Livingston Regional Hosptial. She was a homemaker and a member of Livingston Church of Christ.

Born August 12, 1914, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late R.D. and Lucy (Hite) Lee Little Reed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Alma D. Reed, and a brother, Lavon Reed.

Survivors include her husband, Richard A. Thomas Jr. of Livingston; two sons, Kenneth Thomas and his wife, Judy, of Murfreesboro and Richard Reed Thomas and his wife, Tricia, of Lebanon; two daughters, Susan Sain and her husband, Richard, of Bransford, FL, and Cindy Albritton and her husband, Larry of Evansville, IN; two sisters, Edna (Reed) Webb and Nancy (Reed) Brown, both of Livingston; 15 grandchildren, Alan Thomas, John Thomas, Timothy Thomas, Chris Thomas, Ronnie Sain, Trenton Sain, Thomas Sain, Lauren Sain, Amanda (Sain) Horn, Laura Beth (Thomas) High, Kathryn Edd (Thomas) Phillips, Phillip Albritton, David Albritton, Cammie Albritton, and Erica Albritton; 4 great grandchildren, Andrew Thomas, Adam Thomas, Tyler Thomas, and Autumn Thomas; a special friend, Dean Ledbetter; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers were Earl Carwile, Jack Pigg, Lindon Carwile, Phillip Gunter, Ryan Smith, and Delon Robbins.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were James Bilbrey, Dale Flatt, Johnny Halfacre, Charles Hicks, Riley Johnson, Dale Mabrey, Buckie Parsons, Joel Poston, Allard White, and Allon White.

HAROLD LLOYD UNDERWOOD
Graveside services for Mr. Harold Lloyd Underwood, 74, of Cookeville, were conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2004, at Good Hope cemetery with Bro. Carl Webb officiating.

Mr. Underwood died Thursday, February 5 at Masters Health Care Center in Algood. He was owner and operator of a trucking business and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was of the Church of Christ faith.

Born January 7, 1930, in Morgan County, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Edna (Smith) Underwood.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Underwood of Cookeville; a son, Mark Underwood and his wife, JoAnn, of Commerce Township, MI; a daughter, Cindy Underwood of Cookeville; two half-sisters, Brenda Mitchell of Tennessee and Judy of Florida; and two grandchildren, Joey Underwood and Kristina Underwood.

Pallbearers were William Mitchell, David Mitchell, Matt Mitchell, Chuck Mitchell, Dickie Mitchell, and Bill Wilburn Jr. Memorial contributions may be made to Happy Haven Children's Home in Cookeville.

DAVID H. GOODPASTURE
Funeral services for Mr. David H. Goodpasture, 45, of Trotwood, OH, were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2004, from the chapel of Rogers Funeral Homes in Trotwood.

Burial was in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Goodpasture died Saturday, December 18 at his home surrounded by his devoted family.He had fought a most courageous battle against cancer for a long time. David loved his job and all the people he worked with, as well as those he bowled with during his Tuesday night bowling league.

He was the son of Kenny and Mary Goodpasture of Trotwood. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hubert and Rosa Wilson; his paternal grandparents, Owen and Ona Goodpasture; and an aunt, Pauletta Dean.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include a very special brother, Eddie Goodpasture of Trotwood; a step-grandmother, Lefie Goodpasture of Livingston; a special friend, Sandy Rutherford; all his many friends on Kuntz and Jergens roads; many cousins, including Mary Meredith; and aunts, uncles, and other relatives who will certainly miss this young man's great smile and wonderful sense of humor.

GLORIA GRIFFIN
Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria Griffin, 72, of Celina, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2004, from the chapel of Bond Memorial Chapel in Mt. Juliet.

Burial was in Hollis-Wright cemetery with Rev. Donald Cobb officiating.

Mrs. Griffin died Saturday, December 25. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Livingston and a former member of Two Rivers Baptist Church.

She was the daughter of the late James Monroe and Robbie Lee (Swann) Mitchell.

Survivors include her husband, Ray F. Griffin of Celina; a son, Gary Griffin and his wife, Lynn, of Nashville; a daughter, Tina Arnold and her husband, Tim, of Lebanon; a brother, Aubrey Mitchell and his wife, Lois, of Madison; a sister, Ruth Rasmussen of Nashville; six grandchildren, Shelley Wright and her husband, Scott, Bethany Goodman and her husband, Andrew, Melissa Oliver and her husband, Steve, Joseph Griffin, Patrick Van Buren, and Rachel Van Buren; and five great grandchildren, Emma Wright, Moses Wright, Thomas Wright, Braden Oliver, and Graham Oliver.

Pallbearers were Tim Arnold, Scott Wright, Andrew Goodman, Steve Oliver, Joseph Griffin, and Tim Arnold Jr.

Special care provided by Bond Memorial Chapel.

RICHARD PAUL NORRIS
Funeral services for Mr. Richard Paul Norris, 64, of Livingston, were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial was in Copeland-Carr cemetery with Bro. Aron Dillon officiating.

Mr. Norris died Friday, December 24 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He owned Norris Body Shop in Livingston and was a member of Livingston Masonic Lodge 259 and Livingston Eastern Star. He was affiliated with the Christian Church. Born July 28, 1940, in Overton County, he was the son of Ruth (Poston) Norris Phillips of Livingston and the late William Hershel Norris.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Joann Norris of Livingston; a daughter, Melissa Johnson and her husband, Brent, of Livingston; two brothers, Larry Norris and Terry Norris, both of Livingston; two sisters, Barbara Keisling of Livingston and Sherry Manuel of Mississippi; and a granddaughter, Ashley Johnson.

Pallbearers were Oren Frank Huddleston, Earnie Maynord, Jim Geesling, Bud Coffman, Larry Shell, and Aaron Johnson.

CLYDE EDGAR REAGAN
Funeral services for Mr. Clyde Edgar Reagan, 81, of Livingston, were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2004, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.

Burial was in Old Bethel cemetery with Bro. Glen Ledbetter and Bro. Joey Wright officiating.

Mr. Reagan died Thursday, December 23 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He worked in sawmill and furniture manufacturing as a woodworker and was a member of Free Communion Church of Christ. He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II.

Born April 4, 1923, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Finis B. and Zula (Hutchinson) Reagan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Finis W. Reagan; a sister, Hertie Stewart; two half-brothers, Robert Wallace and George Wallace; and a half-sister, Mary Wallace Taylor.

Survivors include his wife, Lula (Dulworth) Reagan of Livingston; a son, Jerry Reagan and his wife, Bonnie, of Monroe; four daughters, Linda Wright and her husband, Don, of Jamestown, and Sherry Shoemake and her husband, Gary, Pat Parsons and her husband, Tony, and Marilyn Brown and her husband, Chris, all of Monroe; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Pallbearers were Nathan Reagan, Jerry Reagan, Joey Wright, Carlos Pacheco Quiroz, Danny Reagan Jr., and Shane Parsons.

HORACE SMITH
Funeral services for Mr. Horace Smith, 86, of Monroe, were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial was in Dave Smith cemetery with Rev. Ovle Tinch officiating.

\Mr. Smith died Tuesday, December 21 at Bethesda Health Care Center. He was a retired truck driver in the construction business and a United States Army veteran of World War II.

Born December 10, 1918, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Dave and Sally (McDonald) Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Hershell Smith and Carl Smith; and three sisters, Eunice Smith, Bertie Smith, and Clarice McDowell.

Survivors include four nephews, Jerry Smith of Monroe, David "Hen" Smith of Livingston, Joe Walton Smith of Santa Maria, CA, and Orville Duval Smith of Farmington, MI.

Pallbearers were Tony Reeser, Kevin Vaughn, Junior Huckeby, and Ray Petry.

MICHAEL LESTER COLLINS
Funeral services for Mr. Michael Lester Collins, 45, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2004, at Fellowship Baptist Church.

Burial was in Fellowship cemetery with Bro. Dewitt Sampley and Bro. Mike Anderson officiating.

Mr. Collins died Friday, June 18 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a factory worker with Cagle's in Albany, KY, and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Born September 13, 1958, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Aaron and Betty (Harris) Collins.

Survivors include his wife, Esther C. (Rodriguez) Collins of Livingston; a son, Adam Dean Collins of Ohio; a daughter, Erin Michele Feaster of Akron, OH; a step-son, Gavan Rodriguez of Livingston; three brothers, Paul Collins, Kevin Collins, and Donnie Collins, all of Allons; four grandchildren; four aunts, Agnes Born of Cookeville, Helen Winningham of Ohio, Daya Chilton of Allons, and Marie Ferrell of Livingston; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Pallbearers were Tony Black, Gavan Rodriguez, Bryan Copeland, David West, Kenny Melton, and Dennis Moe.

TILDA MAY DICKERSON
Funeral services for Mrs. Tilda May Dickerson, 80, of Livingston, were conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial was in Allen's Chapel cemetery with Rev. Dewey Glenn Masters officiating.

Mrs. Dickerson died Wednesday, June 16 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a housewife and a member of Aaron's Chapel Church.

Born November 4, 1923, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late McKinley and Mary (Taylor) Allen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Allen and Seymore Allen.

Survivors include her husband, Oakla Dickerson of Livingston; three sons, Delmas Dickerson of Cookeville, and Billy Ray Dickerson and Clyde Dickerson, both of Hilham; a brother, Tilmon B. Allen of Livingston; and four grandchildren, Jimmy Dickerson, Tina Naff, Gary Dickerson, and Clyde Glen Dickerson.

Pallbearers were Charlie Greenwood, Jimmy Dickerson, Jimmy Reed, Donald Geesling, Jerry Smith, and David Warden.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were Billy Sullivan and Johnny Ledbetter.
