CASE, LARRY EUGENE, 40, of Church Hill, formerly of Jefferson City, passed away at his home. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Fielden Funeral Home, New Market.

DRINNON, MACK, age 85, of 246 Jacobs Rd., Morristown, passed away April 25, 1999 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a faithful member of Calvue Baptist Church having been a Sunday School teacher for 35 years, and was retired from Morristown Utilities. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Pearl Drinnon; a granddaughter, Rebecca McCravey; and two foster-grandchildren, Anthony and Kenny Ray Drinnon. Survivors include; daughters and sons-in-law, Billie and Rev. Lee Seal, Morristown, Nancy and Bud McCravey, Morristown, Margaret and Dean Cope, Whitesburg; sons and daughters-in-law, James “Tommy” and Carolyn Drinnon, Whitesburg, Danny and Marie Drinnon, Russellville, Johnny and Susie Drinnon, Morristown; William H. “Mackie” and Sandra Drinnon, Mohawk; brothers, Cleve Drinnon, Morristown, Garrett Drinnon, Rutledge; sisters, Lilly Tyler, Blaine, Edith Collins, Morristown; 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 27, 1999, 2:00 p.m. at Calvue Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Seal and Rev. Barren Warren officiating. Interment to follow in Jarnagin Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening, 6:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. at Mayes Mortuary. Mayes Mortuary in charge of arrangements..

LEONARD, MRS. MAGGIE MARIE BRITT, age 71, of Dandridge, passed away early Sunday morning, April 25, 1999, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Jefferson City. Graveside funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, April 28, 1999, in the Dandridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Farrar Funeral Home, 162 E. Meeting Street, Dandridge, Tennessee, 37725 Phone (423) 397-2711. MORELOCK, GLORIA JUNE, age 54, of Strawberry Plains, passed away Sunday, April 25, 1999 at her residence. She was born in Kingsport,TN., and graduated from Bulls Gap High School. She was also a graduate of the University of Tennessee and a member of Robertson Creek Baptist Church. She was the manager of Cost Accounting at Lenzing Fibers Corp. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Coy Morelock and Eloise Gardner Morelock. Survivors include: brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Elsie Morelock of Kingsport, TN.; best friend, Shirley Taylor of Strawberry Plains, TN. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, 1999 at Mayes Mortuary with Rev. Gary Marshall officiating. Interment to follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the mortuary. Mayes Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

PRESSLEY, MR. RONALD ERIC, 28, Bugaboo Springs Rd., Jonesborough, TN., died Friday in Panama City, FL., from injuries sustained in a plane crash. He ws a Hamblen County native and a son of Mrs. Arlene Price Pressley, Jonesborough, and Mr. Jerry Mitchell Pressley, Johnson City. He graduated high school in Hamblen County in 1988. He owned and operated U.S. Air Salvage in Johnson City. He was a member of a non-denominational fellowship in Jonesborough. He was preceded in death by 1 brother. Survivors in addition to his parents are his wife, Jackie Miller Pressley, of the home; 2 sons, Joshua Eric Pressley and Daniel Jackson Pressley, both of the home; 2 brothers, Hunt Mitchell Pressley, Oklahoma City, OK., and Brent Roger Pressley, Morristown; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carroll and Cecilia Pressley, Canton, N.C.; several nieces, aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday from the chapel of Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Mr. Howard Nussbaum, Mr. Robert Eberhardt, Mr. Franklin Zimmerman, and Mr. Robert Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. Interment services will be conducted 11:00 a. . Wednesday in Washington Co. Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ravi Alexander, Paul Barbosa, Ben Burnette. Bobby Caldwell, James Phillips, and Mark Trent. Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, 234-753-0514.

ROBERTSON, J.C., age 86, of Swainsboro, GA., formerly of Morristown and former employee of Berkline, passed away Saturday, April 24, 1999. He was a member of Adriel Baptist Church. Survivors include a sister, Barbara Buell and brothers, James Robertson of Morristown and Ollie Oliver of Bean Station. Funeral service Monday, 5:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, Swainsboro, GA. SMITH, JACKEY, of 261 Old Hwy. 113 , Rogersville, TN., born May 27, 1937, passed away April 25, 1999 at home. Funeral service April 28, 1999 2:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home. Interment in Kite Cemetery. The family will receive friends April 27, 1999 from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

SPIVERS, MRS. ODESSA AGNES KELLY, age 77, of Jefferson City, passed away at 11:17 p.m. Sunday evening, April 25, 1999 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Jefferson City, Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced later by Farrar Funeral Home, 411 W. THOMLISON, JAMES E., passed away Saturday, April 24, 1999 in Morristown, due to injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Local arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home.

TOMASULO, JERRY G., age 77, of Dandridge, passed away Saturday morning, April 24, 1999 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center, Knoxville, following a brief illness. Jerry loved his wife dearly. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Dandridge Golf and Country Club. Jerry loved his brothers and sisters , his children and friends. He lived a wonderful life full of happiness and love. His sense of humor was a trademark of who he was and he will be sadly missed. He is survived by wife, Catherine Tomasulo; daughter, Debbie Lincoln; son, Bobby Morgan; and his many grandchildren and a great-grandchild; sisters, Margaret Scarfia, Lillian Tignanelli, Emma DeNonno, Terri LaTorella; brothers, Michael Tomasulo, Anthony Tomasulo; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Tomasulo. The family suggest that memorials in memory of Jerry be made to the Shannon Memorial Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 1025, Dandridge, TN. 37725. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge. Farrar Funeral Home in charge.

SPARKS, SAMUEL E. , 29, of Sevierville, formerly of Maryville, died at 3:30 a.m., Saturday, April 24, 1999 at the family home. He was a member of Six Mile Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Alice Sparks and grandfather, Eugene Sparks. Survivors are his wife, Melissa H. Calfee Sparks; son, Joseph Calfee Sparks of Sevierville; daughter, Heather Sparks of Sevierville; parents, Robert and Judy Sparks of Maryville; brothers, Terry L. Sparks, Rodney Mason and Lennie Mason, all of Maryville; sister, Tisha Housley of Wyoming; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Keller of Maryville; grandmother, Elizabeth Sparks of Maryville; and a host of family and friends. Funeral service is 11 a.m., Monday, April 26, 1999, at Trinity Chapel Smith Mortuary with Rev. Bill White officiating. Interment will follow the service at Grandview Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Texas. The family received friends Sunday at Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, telephone 983-1000.

QUINN, FLORENCE MCKINNEY, 88, of Morristown, passed away Sunday morning, April 25, 1999, at Lakeway Regional Hospital. She was a member of Westview Baptist Church and a Gold Star mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Quinn, and a son, Bobby Joe Quinn, who was the first casualty of the Vietnam War from Hamblen County. Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Quinn of Morristown; special nephew Harold McKinney; several other nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral service will be 8 p.m., Monday at Allen Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Lamb officiating. Interment will be 10 a.m., Tuesday in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. prior to the service. Allen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
