COLLINS, GEORGE HENRY, SR., age 84, of Knoxville, formerly of Rutledge, passed away suddenly Tuesday, January 19, 1999 at UT Medical Center. He was a member of New Blackwell Baptist Church in Rutledge. Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his wife, Callie Hysel (Peggy Collins); brothers, Lester, L.C., Kyle and Ralph Collins; sisters, Laura Harbin and Erma Lee Mounger. She was a member of the Straight Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Corda Mullins; husband, Foster Mayes; eight brothers; seven sisters.
