Rosa Kail Coleman Riddick, age 93, of Lenoir City, TN formerly of Alamo, TN passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at Park West Hospital in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her parents Judge and Zula Kail, first husband, Horace Coleman and second husband Dennis Riddick; brothers, Jessie Kail, L. E. Kail and Farris Kail. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Rose and Mac Don Tritt of Lenoir City with whom she had made her home the last 18 years; grandchildren, Sherry Tritt Holton of Montgomery, AL, Teresa Tritt Aaron and Beverly Tritt Shealy of Lenoir City and Donnie Carroll Tritt of Knoxville; ten great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. She was a member of the Lenoir City Church of Christ. The family will receive friends at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City on Wednesday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 8:30 p.m. with Kent Baily officiating, and Friday at the Ronk Funeral Home in Alamo, TN from Noon until 1:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. in the Ronk Chapel with Bro. Fred House officiating. Interment will be in the Alamo Cemetery. The family requests no flowers. Kelley, Jessie Henderson, of Lenoir City, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2004. Mrs. Kelley, a native of Rhea Co. was longtime member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Lenoir City and was among the church’s oldest members. She was the last surviving child of the late James Robert and Sally King Henderson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Waller Kelley; her parents; and her two sisters, Della Ritchey and Clasey Mowery. She is survived by her two daughters, Betty (Paul) Hamilton of Winder, Georgia and Caroline (Donald) Perkey of Lenoir City; two grandsons; one granddaughter; 1 great grandson and 1 great granddaughter. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Click Funeral Home and will then proceed to Lenoir City Cemetery for graveside services with Rev. Gary Baker officiating. Malone, Harold Dean, age 72, of Lenoir City, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 30, 2004. He was a member of West Broadway Baptist Church and recently attended Friendship Baptist Church. Harold was retired from Yale Security. He was an avid fisherman and gardener. Preceded in death by parents, Ross Malone and Lou Malone; brothers, Junior and Jim Malone; sister, Iva Chambers. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Alice Hicks Malone; daughters, Shirley Hickman and husband, Jim, Brenda Poynter and husband, Joe all of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Missy Hickman Swain and husband, Scott, Michelle Poynter and Nicole Poynter all of Lenoir City; great grandchildren, Parker Alice Swain, Reagan Elizabeth Swain and Cameron Dean Swain; sisters, Willie Harvey of Mississippi formerly of Knoxville, Betty McCarroll and husband, Bill of Michigan; several nieces and nephews. Scarbrough, Elizabeth Price, age 94, of Lenoir City, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at Sweetwater Hospital. She was retired from Mayfield Dairy and had worked at Charles H. Bacon Co. She was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving in W. W. II. Elizabeth was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by father, Charles Milford Scarbrough; mother, Sallie Hatfield Scarbrough; brother, James H. Scarbrough and sister, Ruth Scarbrough Bowlin. Survived by sister, Margaret S. Helton; niece, Sheila McIntosh; nephew, Steve Helton; great niece, Crystal McIntosh; several nieces and nephews. Nelson, Mary Ellen (Peanut), age 77, of 317 Everett Road, Knoxville departed this life early Wednesday morning, June 1, 2005 at Park West Hospital. Mary Ellen was a member of Everett Road Baptist Church, was active in WMU and a Sunday School teacher for many years. She was a member of Farragut Women's Club. She was loved by the many children she baby sat for over the years. Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, France and Alice Beeler; sisters, Hazel Marie Storm and Eula May Harness; brother, Roy Herbert Beeler; Survivors: husband of 55 years, Paul M. Ruth was an employee of Regal Cinema in Farragut. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Farragut. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Morson Crosby; parents, Walter and Vera Tallmadge; sister, Betty Pierce Loucks and husband Clayton Loucks. Lovelady, William Marshall, age 86, of Lenoir City, passed away Sunday morning, June 5, 2005. He was born in Daisy, Tennessee, on October 24, 1918. Reverend Lovelady served as a minister in the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church for thirty-nine years. During that time he served at ten appointments: Rockford-Wesleyan 1946-1950; Athens- Allen Memorial 1951-1955; Oneida 1955-1959; Limestone – Asbury 1959-1963; Townsend – Tuckaleechee 1963-1964; Lupton City – Brooks Memorial 1964-1967; Lenoir City – Trinity 1967-1971; Independence, VA 1971-1978; Wise, VA – Trinity 1978-1982; and Rock Springs, TN 1982-1985.Reverend Lovelady was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army for 22 months in the European Theater. He was a member of Avery Masonic Lodge in Lenoir City. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Lovelady, his mother Pearl Curtis Lovelady, his brother Jerome, and his sister Christine. Marshall Lovelady is survived by his wife Faith Kestner Lovelady, whom he cherished for 59 years; his children and their spouses – Charles Wayne and Janis Lovelady of Spokane, Washington, Marsha and Douglas Fain of Knoxville, and Angela and Lawrence Carico of Clinton; his grandchildren Jason Lovelady and his fiancé Jet, Amanda Lovelady, Amy Renfro and her husband Chris, Cara Ford and her husband Todd, Kristie Rowan and her husband Tim, Alicia Fain, Brett Fain, Corey Carico, and Kayla Carico; his great-grandchildren Macon and Emma Rowan and Riley and Brady Ford; and his nieces Martha Pearl, Mildred, and Louise. Marshall Lovelady’s love for God showed in all he did for others. He touched so many people over the course of his ministry. Marshall Lovelady was truly a man of God. Bryant, John Edward, age 56, of Farragut, TN, formerly of Newburgh, IN, died Saturday evening, June 4, 2005 at St. Mary's Hospital. John was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. He was noted for his volunteer work with the Better Business Bureau, Hunter Education, and the Tennessee Hemophilia Foundation. John was preceded in death by his father, Mervin; brother, Robert; and sister, Barbara of Tell City, IN. Survivors: wife of 25 years, Karen Bryant; sons, Patrick and Michael Bryant; mother, Rovilla (Billie) Bryant of Tell City, IN; sister, Pat Huff of Jeffersonville, IN; brothers, Paul Bryant of Woodstock, GA and Charlie Bryant of Placentia, CA; and several nieces and nephews. Watson, Charles R. Jr. (Chuck), of Knoxville, TN, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2005 after a brief illness. His wife,Corinne and daughter, Christy Wilkinson were at his side. Chuck was born in Ashland, KY. He was a graduate of the Citadel and served in the U S Army. Chuck was a banker before retiring and moving to Destin and Ft. Walton Beach, and also maintained a home in Knoxville. In addition to his wife and daughter, he leaves 2 grandchildren, Joseph and Paige Wilkinson; a brother; three sisters and many friends. A former employee of Kirby Manufacturing where she worked many years. Blanche was an avid gardener and doll collector. She was preceded in death by husband, James (Jim) Collins; brothers, Allen Frost and Lee Bud Frost; sisters, Mary Rogers and Mildred Fink. Dixon, William H. Jr., age 47, of Farragut, passed away Wednesday morning, June 8, 2005, at Marshall Voss Nursing Home. Bill was a former employee of Sam & Andy's Restaurant in Farragut. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Grace Dixon. Survivors include his son Sean of Knoxville; sisters and brothers-in-law : Laura and Rick Noles of Farragut, Cheryl and Doug Enyart of Piedmont, MO, Susan and John Rickershauser of Morristown, NJ, Grace and Randy Slater of Henderson, NV; brother, Andrew Dixon of Knoxville; former wife, Diane Dixon of Knoxville; nieces: Kira Enyart of MO, Emily and Julia Rickershauser of NJ; nephews: Daniel and Brian Noles of Knoxville, John, James, and Paul Rickershauser, Erik and Keith Enyart of MO. Cook, Edward A., age 81, of Farragut, passed away Friday, June 10, 2005, at the Parkwest Medical Center. He attended First Baptist Church in Concord. He was a veteran of the United States Army 9th Air Force, serving overseas in the European Campaign during World War II. Ed was retired from RCA as a Field Engineer after 38 years of service. Ed was an FCC licensed ham radio operator and past president of the Shiloh Homeowner's Association. Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice; infant granddaughter, Sheri; Mother Mabel and Grandmother Fanny. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Linda; daughters, Debra Hirai and Donna Beal; son, Bruce Cook; stepsons, Chad and Darrell Cameron; half sisters, Marjory Berry and Eleanor Hommel; ten grandchildren. Guerra, Susan D., age 56, of Knoxville, passed away Friday morning, June 10, 2005. She was associated with the South Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Nittolo. She is survived by her husband, Ricardo Guerra, Jr. of Knoxville; children, Jenny Barnes and her husband, John of Atlanta and Michael Besozzi of Knoxville and her children's father, Dr. Myrwood Besozzi; her father, Victor Nittolo of Naples, FL; brothers: Phil, Victor and Raymond Nittola all of Naples, FL; several nieces and nephews also survive. Carlson, G. Kenneth, age 67, of the Tellico Village Community, Loudon, passed away Thursday evening, June 9, 2005. Ken and his wife attended Tellico Village Community Church. He retired from Amoco Oil Company in Chicago at, age 55, and moved to Tellico Village. He was an avid golfer and he enjoyed boating and tennis. Ken was a former volunteer mentor at Loudon County Technology Center in Lenoir City. While there he led fund raising efforts to build tennis and basketball courts for the students. Preceded in death by his father, Gordon Carlson. Ken is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judy Carlson; son, Tim Carlson; mother, Jeane Carlson of the Neighborhood in Tellico Village; brother, Tom Carlson and wife, Carolynn of Naperville, IL; niece, Melissa Johnson; nephew, Kevin Carlson and mother-in-law, Bertha Hicks, who resides at the Neighborhood in Tellico Village. The family will receive friends from 10 - 11:30a.m. Tuesday June 14, 2005 at the Tellico Village Yacht Club. A short memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. on the dock with Rev. Finn, Matthew David, age 29, of Lenoir City, passed away Sunday morning, June 12, 2005, at his home, following a 2 ½ year battle with cancer. Matt was a former Sheriffs Deputy and Jailer with the Loudon Co. Sheriffs Department. He served in the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Pendleton Finn; children: McKellar and Isaiah Finn of the home and Christian Finn of Knoxville; parents, Pope and Linda Finn of Loudon; sisters: Jennifer Finn of Chicago, Pam Rainwater of Knoxville and Diane Cochran of Asheville NC; nieces, nephews and special friends: Chad and Amy Estes, Dan and Vicky Miller, Jason Smith . Fuja, Kimberlyn Ann, age 22, of Farragut, TN, formerly of Naperville, IL went to be with Jesus on Tuesday morning June 14, 2005 at Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center. Kim was a very special young lady who overcame many obstacles, even though she had a serious handicap of Prader-Willi Syndrome. She had a strong desire to help others with special needs. Kim wanted to be a Special Education Teacher. She was a wonderful friend to many and especially Devon Fehse and Ellice Gregg. Kim graduated from Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville, IL. She attended St. John Neumann Catholic Church. She was also in the youth group at All Saints Catholic Church and the Sonshine Class for special needs people at First Baptist Church Concord. She also participated at White Wing Nazarene Church in Lenoir City. Survivors: parents, Raymond and Phyllis Fuja of Farragut; brothers, Russell of Downers Grove, IL, Jeffrey and Timothy of Naperville, IL; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Watson, Charles R. Jr. (Chuck), of Knoxville, TN, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2005 after a brief illness. His wife Corinne and daughter, Christy Wilkinson were at his side. Chuck was born in Ashland, KY. He was a graduate of the Citadel and served in the U S Army. Chuck was a banker before retiring and moving to Destin and Ft. Walton Beach and also maintained a home in Knoxville. In addition to his wife and daughter, he leaves 2 grandchildren, Joseph and Paige Wilkinson; a brother; three sisters and many friends. A Celebration of Chuck's life will be held on Saturday, June 25 from 4 until 6 p.m. at Rothchild's 8007 Kingston Pike. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Unity Church of Knoxville, P O Box 52345, Knoxville, TN 37950.
